On the eve of the jury in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial beginning final deliberations, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki refused to explain why Joe Biden suggested the defendant was a white supremacist last year without any evidence to back up the claim.

Fox News’ Peter Doocy  again confronted Psaki asking “Why did President Biden suggest that Kyle Rittenhouse on trial in Kenosha is a white supremacist?”

Biden’s implication came in the following video ad campaign in the lead up to the 2020 election, which prompted the Rittenhouse family to file suit.

In response to Doocy’s question, Psaki said “what I’m not going to speak to right now is anything about an ongoing trial, nor the President’s past comments.”

“What I can reiterate for you,” she added, “is the President’s view that we shouldn’t have, broadly speaking, vigilantes patrolling our communities with assault weapons. We shouldn’t have opportunities, corrupting peaceful protests by writing and burning down the communities they claim to represent anywhere in the country.”

“As you know, closing arguments in this particular case, which I’m not speaking to, I’m just making broad comments about his own view. There’s an ongoing trial. We’re awaiting a verdict beyond that I’m not going to speak to any individual’s or this case,” Psaki further said.

Doocy pointed out “But the President has spoken to it already. And his mom now, Kyle Rittenhouse’s mom came out saying that the President defamed her son. And claims, she thinks that when the President suggested her son’s a white supremacist he’s doing that to win votes.”

Dinesh D’Souza commuted “You can’t even blame people for sort of completely being on the wrong track, because they’re fed misinformation,” before pointing out that the false narratives are an attempt by the left to protect Antifa.

Analyst Jason Whitlock commented “We’re looking at a modern day ‘To Kill a Mockingbird.'”

Candace Owens told Tucker Carlson “We are actually watching the effects of real-life propaganda.”

While Carlson himself intimately detailed the efforts to deliberately misrepresent the case:
