<p>On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, US Secretary Antony Blinken on Saturday remembered Mahatma Gandhi and said that his message of non-violence, and tolerance are still relevant today.</p>

<p>Last month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his US visit had said the Mahatma Gandhi's "trusteeship" concept would be important for our planet in times to come. This statement was made after President Joe Biden mentioned Gandhi Jayanti.</p>
<p>"President Joe Biden mentioned Gandhiji's Jayanti. Mahatma Gandhi always used to talk about trusteeship of the planet, a concept which is important for our planet in times to come," PM Modi had said during the bilateral talks with Biden at the Oval office.</p>
<p>Born on October 2, 1869, in Porbandar town of Gujarat, Mahatma Gandhi or Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi adopted a non-violent resistance and was at the forefront of the freedom struggle against colonial British rule.</p>
<p>Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary is celebrated as the International Day of Non-Violence. Several events are held in India and across the world to mark the occasion.</p>

<p>Taiwan accused Beijing of bullying and damaging regional peace Saturday after Chinese fighter jets and bombers made their largest ever incursion into the island's air defence zone.</p>
<p>Beijing marked its National Day on Friday with its biggest aerial show of force against Taiwan to date, buzzing the self-ruled democratic island with 38 warplanes, including nuclear-capable H-6 bombers.</p>
<p>Democratic Taiwan's 23 million people live under the constant threat of invasion by China which views the island as its territory and has vowed to one day seize it, by force if necessary.</p>
<p>Under President Xi Jinping, Chinese warplanes are crossing into Taiwan's air defence identification zone (ADIZ) on a near daily basis.</p>
<p>But Friday's incursion sparked a particularly sharp rebuke from Taipei.</p>
<p>"China has been bellicose and damaging regional peace while engaging in many bullying acts," Premier Su Tseng-chang told reporters Saturday.</p>
<p>"It's evident that the world, the international community, rejects such behaviours by China more and more."</p>
<p>Taiwan's defence ministry said it scrambled its aircraft to broadcast warnings after 22 fighters, two bombers and one anti-submarine aircraft entered the island's southwest ADIZ on Friday.</p>
<p>A second batch of 13 jets then crossed into Taiwan's ADIZ later on Friday, in a rare night incursion, bringing the total to a record 38, according to the ministry.</p>
<p>That was followed by a further incursion on Saturday by 20 planes.</p>
<p>The ADIZ is not the same as Taiwan's territorial airspace but includes a far greater area that overlaps with part of China's own air defence identification zone and even includes some of mainland China.</p>
<p><strong>Rising Tensions</strong></p>
<p>Mass incursions used to be rare.</p>
<p>But in the last two years Beijing has begun sending large sorties into Taiwan's ADIZ to signal dissatisfaction at key moments -- and to keep Taipei's ageing fighter fleet regularly stressed.</p>
<p>Last week, 24 Chinese warplanes flew into the area after Taiwan applied to join a major trans-Pacific trade pact.</p>
<p>Friday's show of force came the same week Beijing accused Britain of "evil attentions" after it sent a frigate to sail through the Taiwan Strait.</p>
<p>China claims the strait as its own waterway, along with most of the disputed South China Sea. Most other nations view them as international waters open to all.</p>
<p>Beijing has ramped up pressure on Taipei since the 2016 election of President Tsai Ing-wen, who has said she views the island as "already independent" and not part of a "one China".</p>
<p>Last year, Chinese military jets made a record 380 incursions into Taiwan's defence zone, and the number of breaches for the first nine months of this year has already exceeded 500.</p>
<p>The previous single-day record was on June 15 when 28 jets breached Taiwan's ADIZ.</p>
<p>Xi has described Taiwan becoming part of the mainland as "inevitable".</p>
<p>US military officials have begun to talk openly about fears that China could consider the previously unthinkable and invade.</p>
<p>Protection of Taiwan has become a rare bipartisan issue in Washington and a growing number of Western nations have begun joining the United States in "freedom of navigation" exercises to push back on China's claims to the South China Sea and Taiwan Strait.</p>
<p>Britain sent a warship through the Taiwan Strait on Monday for the first time since 2008.</p>
<p>The Chinese People's Liberation Army's Eastern Theatre Command accused Britain of acting out of "evil intentions to sabotage peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait".</p>
<p>Alexander Huang, associate professor at Tamkang University in Taipei, said he believed the latest aerial incursion was not just about sending a message to Taiwan.</p>
<p>"There's three other carrier attack groups in the region, two American and one British," he told AFP.</p>
<p>"China is sending a political message to the US and UK on her national day: Don't mess around in my area."</p>
<p>Canadian, French and Australian warships have all made voyages through the Taiwan Strait in recent years, sparking protests from China.</p>

<p>An air ambulance of the Abu Dhabi Police crashed in the UAE's capital on Saturday, killing two pilots, a doctor and a nurse, according to the police.</p>
<p>The Abu Dhabi Police, in a tweet, said that pilot trainer Khamis Saeed Al-Holy, Lieutenant Pilot Nasser Muhammad Al-Rashidi as well as civilians Dr Shahid Farouk Gholam and nurse Joel Qiui Sakara Minto died, the Khaleej Times newspaper reported.</p>
<p>The General Headquarters of the Abu Dhabi Police mourned the death of four of its medical team members who were killed in the air ambulance plane crash while on duty on Saturday.</p>
<p>“Four people were killed in an ambulance plane crash while on duty on Saturday,” the police said.</p>
<p>"The General Command of Abu Dhabi Police extends its deepest condolences and sympathy to their families, acquaintances and co-workers," the force said in a tweet.</p>
<p>The Gulf News identified the two pilots killed in the line of duty as Emiratis while the nationalities of doctor Ghulam and nurse Minto were not immediately known.</p>

<p><strong>President Joe Biden has sought to motivate Democrats on Capitol Hill to vote for his multi-trillion-dollar spending bills by warning them that if the bills fail, those who supported the Capitol riot on January 6 will celebrate a political victory.</strong></p>

<p>A proposal allowing the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to monitor Americans’ bank accounts is in President Biden’s $3.5 trillion budget plan. The addition would allow the IRS to compel banks to disclose all transactions of most bank accounts.</p>

<p>In response, the state of Nebraska has stated that it will “not comply” with the increased powers demanded by the IRS in the lengthy budget reconciliation bill. Nebraska State Treasurer John Murante said his state is spearheading the opposition to the proposal that would require banks to report accounts with at least $600 in transactions to the Internal Revenue Service.</p>
<p>In an interview with <a href="https://www.foxbusiness.com/money/irs-spending-bill-spying-bank-accounts-taxes-yellen">Fox Business</a>, Murante stated that, “My message is really simple. The people of Nebraska entrusted me to protect the privacy of these accounts and I am not going to comply with this. If the Biden administration sues me, we will take it all the way to the Supreme Court. We are going to fight every step of the way.”</p>

<p>In an official statement released last month, Murante claimed that, “This could lead to a tremendous invasion of privacy the likes of which our country has never seen. Millions of law-abiding Americans would suddenly have their bank accounts opened to federal investigators for no more reason than buying a refrigerator. This is simply unconscionable. To make matters worse, under this proposal, saving for college could put an American family on the IRS’s radar, costs that most likely will be passed on to the public.”</p>

<p><strong>COVID vaccine passports are being used by governments all over the world to increase vaccination rates and encourage more people to receive the vaccine.</strong></p>
<p>As would be expected, the result has been an increased proportion of employees quitting their jobs rather than being compelled to show a vaccine passport to be able to work.</p>
<p>In particular, hospital staff shortages are becoming more prevalent across the country as unvaccinated workers are choosing to leave their employment after the <a href="https://reclaimthenet.org/biden-announces-major-push-for-vaccine-passports/">Biden administration mandated that the approximately 17 million workers in health institutions</a> that receive federal Medicare or Medicaid funding have to show a vaccine passport or lose their jobs.</p>
<p>As a result of this, departments of hospitals are closing or reducing healthcare services due to staff shortages caused by the mandates.</p>
<p>With hospitals already stretched thin, the sudden drop in workforce is the difference between some services being halted or discontinued due to a lack of manpower.</p>
<p><em>This week Merck announced a new “COVID pill” to treat COVID, while they attack the effectiveness of another drug they manufacture… Ivermectin.</em></p>
<p>Due to a staffing deficit caused by personnel quitting over vaccine regulations, at least one hospital in upstate <a href="https://www.npr.org/2021/09/13/1036521499/covid-workers-resign-new-york-hospital-stops-baby-delivery">New York</a> has had to halt maternity treatment and deliveries.</p>

<p>Another report from <a href="https://www.newsweek.com/vaccine-refusal-prompts-more-100-employees-quit-major-indiana-hospital-system-1629993">Indiana</a> describes a situation similar to that in North Carolina and New York, with healthcare personnel departing to escape obligatory vaccination.</p>
<p>Moreover, <a href="https://www.kcbd.com/2021/09/14/rural-hospitals-risk-losing-funding-staff-over-covid-19-vaccine-mandate/">KCBD</a> reports that Brownfield Regional Medical Center in Texas may have to close if the federal vaccine mandate is enforced because of the large number of employees who could resign.</p>
<p>Jerry Jasper, The CEO at Brownfield Regional Medical Center stated to KCBD that “Probably 20 to 25 percent of my staff will have to go away if that’s the case.”</p>
<p>Another CEO, Gerald Cayer of the Lewis County Health System expressed hope that this is a transitory issue as he works with the state Department of Health to prevent the maternity unit from permanently closing because six of the hospital’s maternity unit employees resigned to avoid receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.</p>
<p>“There are 165 hospital employees who have not received a COVID-19 vaccine, which is 27% of the workforce, the other 73%, or 464 employees, have already received the vaccine. If we can pause the service and now focus on recruiting nurses who are vaccinated, we will be able to re engage in delivering babies here in Lewis County,” he said.</p>
<p>Additionally, a representative of Indiana University Health, Indiana’s largest hospital system with over thirty thousand employees, told Newsweek that “125 employees, the equivalent of 61 full-time employees, chose not to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and have left the organization.”</p>
<p>The situation will likely become more acute in the coming months when an increasing number of mandates take effect this month and in November.</p>

<p>Border-security advocates have argued that the administration’s investigation into the agents involved in the incident won’t possibly be fair, because people at the highest levels of the government, including Biden himself, have already <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/fair-investigation-border-patrol-horse-incident-impossible" target="_blank">pronounced the officers guilty</a> of heinous actions.</p>
<p>The Border Patrol’s horse-mounted operations have been instrumental in apprehending large groups of illegal aliens and intercepting drug cargoes. According to US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the federal agency that oversees the Border Patrol, equestrian teams extend enforcement capabilities.</p>

Department of Defence AI programme finds Antibody-Dependent Enhancement is accelerating in the Fully Vaccinated

<p><strong>An AI-powered Department of Defense programme named “<a href="https://www.defense.gov/News/News-Stories/Article/Article/2269200/">Project Salus</a>,” run in cooperation with the JAIC (<a href="https://dodcio.defense.gov/About-DoD-CIO/Organization/JAIC/">Joint Artificial Intelligence Center</a>), has analysed data on 5.6 million Medicare beneficiaries aged 65 or older and found that antibody-dependent enhancment is accelerating in the fully vaccinated by the week.</strong></p>
<p>The alarming findings show that the vast majority of covid hospitalisations are occurring among fully-vaccinated individuals and that outcomes among the fully vaccinated are growing worse with each passing week. This appears to fit the pattern of so-called Antibody Dependent Enhancement, where the treatment intervention (mRNA vaccines) is worsening health outcomes and leading to excess hospitalizations and deaths.</p>
<p>These data, presented here, shatter the official narrative that falsely claims America is experiencing, “a pandemic of the unvaccinated.” The data show that the pandemic actually appears to be <em>accelerated</em> by covid-19 vaccines, while unvaccinated individuals are having far better outcomes than the vaccinated.</p>
<p>Furthermore, according to these data (shown below), the single best strategy for avoid post-vaccine infections and hospitalisations is <strong>natural immunity</strong> derived from a previous covid infection.</p>

<p>These data reveal that as the Delta variant approached a 97% infection rate, “cases” and hospitalizations among fully vaccinated individuals showed striking increases with each passing week.</p>
<h2>Key findings of the DoD / JAIC / Project Salus / Humetrix analysis</h2>
<p>Throughout the slides, “VE” refers to vaccine effectiveness. “Breakthrough” means a failed vaccine, where a fully vaccinated person is diagnosed with covid. Many of those people require hospitalization and ICU treatments (see the slides below).</p>
<p>Some of the key findings of the Project Salus analysis include:</p>
<ul>
<li>The effectiveness of mRNA vaccines is confirmed to wane over time.</li>
<li>With each passing week, those vaccinated with mRNA vaccines show an <em>increased</em> risk of vaccine failure / covid infections requiring hospitalization. From the analysis: “Odds ratio increasing to 2.5 at 6 months post vaccination.”</li>
<li>Natural immunity works: A prior covid infection greatly reduces the odds of a vaccinated person needing hospitalization from a subsequent infection.</li>

<h2>Vaccine failure dramatically worsens within 5-6 months after being vaccinated</h2>
<p>One slide from the analysis reveals that so-called “breakthrough” infections — vaccine failures — increase with time, showing a near doubling of breakthrough infections among those vaccinated 5-6 months ago vs. those vaccinated only 3-4 months ago.</p>
<p>These data end at August 21st, 2021 but the trend does not appear to be flattening. As more data are added to this analysis each week, it seems almost certain that breakthrough infections rates will continue to rise over time in vaccinated individuals. We do not yet know what will happen in 9 months after vaccination, but these data show cause for serious concern.</p>

<h2>Once the Delta variant took hold, 71% of COVID-19 “breakthrough” cases occurred among the fully vaccinated</h2>
<p>As the following chart shows, 71% of COVID-19 “cases” were breakthrough cases (vaccine failures) once the Delta variant reached 90% spread across those infected.</p>
<p>Understand that the authors of this document state that <strong>those who are jabbed are not considered “vaccinated” until two weeks after they received the injections</strong>, which means that infections, hospitalizations and deaths which occurred from 0 – 14 days are ignored in this data set.</p>
<p>In reality, that means the percentage of “fully vaccinated” people responsible for breakthrough infections, hospitalizations and deaths is substantially <em>higher</em> than what is shown in these data. If they are claiming a 71% rate, it may in reality be more like 80% or even 90%, but we don’t know for sure because they are hiding all negative health outcomes for the first two weeks after the vaccines are administered (by claiming those people are “unvaccinated,” which is a deliberate deception being used to try to hide the harmful effects of vaccines).</p>

<h2>Ethnic groups hit hardest: Native Americans, Hispanics and Blacks</h2>
<p>Finally, a horrifying slide in the data set reveals that one of the highest risk factors for being hospitalized after being vaccinated is simply being of Native American descent. According to the data in this slide, Native Americans face around 50% higher odds of being hospitalized after being vaccinated, compared to other ethnic groups such as Whites.</p>
<p>Hispanics face a slightly lower risk which appears to be around 40% higher odds. Blacks face around 25% higher odds.</p>
<p>Why is this the case? The gain-of-function properties which were engineered into the SARS-CoV-2 biological weapon — via Fauci, Daszak and the NIH — target ACE2 receptors which exist in higher densities in targeted organ systems of many minority groups such as Native Americans, Hispanics and Blacks. This has led many observers to conclude that the covid spike protein — which is generated in the bodies of those who take mRNA vaccines — is a race-specific bioweapon designed to achieve depopulation of minority groups. Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam, has engaged in many efforts to bring this to the attention of his followers, for example. These data provided by the DoD / JAIC / Project Salus document shown here <strong>appear to support the plausibility of such theories</strong>.</p>
<p>Other factors that greatly increase a person’s odds of being hospitalized after receiving vaccinations include kidney failure (ESRD), morbid obesity, chronic liver disease or receiving chemotherapy.</p>

<h2>Natural immunity offers documented protect against future hospitalisation</h2>
<p>Finally, the data presented in this document shows that natural immunity — listed as “prior covid-19” substantially <em>decreases</em> the risk of hospitalisation after receiving covid-19 vaccines. (See slide above.)</p>
<p>What this means is that the best way to ensure the safest outcome of a covid vaccine is to <strong>experience a covid infection before getting vaccinated</strong>. This dramatically reduces your risk of negative health outcomes.</p>
<p>Then again, if someone has already had covid, why would they need a vaccine in the first place? If anything, these data show that anyone choosing to receive covid-19 vaccines is making the <em>wrong</em> choice if they desire to avoid infections, hospitalizations or deaths.</p>
<p>Natural immunity, once again, is revealed as the most effective status that reduces negative outcomes.</p>
<h2>Conclusion</h2>
<p>In conclusion, these data from the DoD / JAIC absolutely shatter the false narrative of the authorities that are still attempting to mainpulate the publicinto thinking that hospitals are filled with unvaccinated people. In reality, the vast majority of hospitalizations and deaths are occurring among those who were fully vaccinated, according to the 5.6 million people studied in this particular data set (Medicare).</p>
<p>Importantly, post-vaccine health outcomes are worsening over time, meaning that the vaccines appear to be gradually damaging the immune system over subsequent months, making vaccinated individuals far more vulnerable to subsequent infections.</p>
<p>This is the very definition of ADE (Antibody Dependent Enhancement), about which we have been warned. Now, it appears that ADE is no longer merely a theory but rather a confirmed phenomenon reflected in official Medicare data.</p>

BREAKING – Pfizer stand accused of experimenting on orphan babies to test their Covid-19 vaccine

<p><strong>Allegations that Pfizer are conducting experiments on six-month-old orphans to test their Covid-19 vaccine have been made by whistleblowers in Poland leading to a group of lawyers, medical professionals and activists demanding members of the Polish parliament and Senate organise an urgent conference on Saturday 2nd October.</strong></p>
<p>Children’s Health Defense was recently alerted by Polish whistleblowers that Pfizer is conducting experiments on orphan babies 6 months old to test their new vaccines. Babies and children do not die from Covid and rarely transmit the disease. This alone should be enough to refuse any kind of clinical trials with experimental vaccines.  But Pfizer seems to be operating outside legal boundaries. If this is case, it is simply unacceptable and needs to stop. Answers and action are needed.</p>
<p> A group of lawyers, medical professionals and activists asked members of the Polish parliament and Senate to organise the following conference on Saturday October 2nd  entitled:</p>
<h3><strong>“MEDICAL TESTS ON CHILDREN AND INFANTS – MEDICAL, LEGAL AND ETHICAL ISSUES ”.</strong></h3>

<p>The conference is organised by Polish associations and foundations such as <strong> The Polish Association of Independent Doctors</strong> <strong>and Scientists</strong>, <strong>The Association of Lawyers Voice of Freedom</strong>, <strong>Dobrostan Health Information Center Association</strong>, and the <strong>New Spectrum Foundation</strong></p>
<p><strong>International speakers will feature Dr. Natalia Prego Cancelo from Spain, Dr. Meryl Nass and Mrs. Vera Sharav from the United States.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Here are some of the major questions that must be answered:</strong></p>
<p>– Is Pfizer conducting experiments on orphan children who are the most vulnerable and have no one to take their interests at heart if things go wrong? If so why and who consented to this?</p>
<p>– Why is Pfizer allowed to do clinical trials on babies with a product that has not completed phase 3 of the clinical trials and that is a new technology? </p>
<p>– Why is Pfizer refusing elected officials the get access to their documents?</p>
<p>– What is happening in the other countries where these experiments are conducted?</p>
<p>– Are the EMA and the FDA really doing their job?</p>
<p>And finally…are vaccine manufacturers operating in complete secrecy and outside any legal control? </p>
<p>Other information on the science and ethics of the clinical trials on children have also raised our concerns.  Yaffa Shir- Raz, a risk-communication researcher of the University of Haifa in Israel has published an article on the very questionable methods used by the company called <strong>‘<a href="https://www.covil.co.il/en/this-is-how-pfizer-managed-to-obtain-the-fdas-emergency-authorization-for-children/">Serious violations and manipulations of the trial protocol: This is how Pfizer managed to obtain the FDA’s emergency authorisation for children’</a>.  </strong></p>
<p>This article points to troublesome facts questioning Pfizer’s intention to demonstrate safety of the use of its vaccines in children. For example, children who suffered severe depression were suddenly found to have pre-existing psychiatric conditions that should have excluded them from the study cohort and the reporting criteria seem to have been designed to exclude signals of adverse events. </p>
<p>Vaccine developers have a long story of experimenting on the most vulnerable: orphans, mentally and physically disabled, political refugees and impoverished populations. Stanley Plotkin, who patented numerous vaccines and is nicknamed ‘the pope of vaccines’ once defended himself by saying that disabled people ‘were only human in form’.  </p>
<p>Getting rid of the weakest has always been practiced in the name of the greater good.   Now is the time to take responsibility and put an end to this barbarian practice.  </p>
<h4><strong>Letter from Polish activists and medical associations on the medical tests on children and infants </strong></h4>
<p>Dear All,  </p>
<p>We would like to invite you to participate in a conference that will be taking place on the 2nd of October 2021 at 12:00 Warsaw time in the Polish Parliament. </p>
<p>The conference will include medical and legal debate in regards to testing medical products on children and very young babies. This conference is apolitical and non-religious. It is organized by Polish associations and foundations such as <strong> The Polish Association of Independent Doctors</strong> <strong>and Scientists</strong>, <strong>The Association of Lawyers Voice of Freedom</strong>, <strong>Dobrostan Health Information Center Association</strong>, and the New Spectrum Foundation. Representatives of the parliament and the government as well as main stream media have been invited to passively participate and to help the public understand the depth of the issue. </p>
<p> This conference has been requested in connection with the theoretical and practical analysis of clinical trials involving children and infants due to the fact that children cannot consent to participate in a biomedical study and therefore additional safeguards should and must be applied to protect them. We believe this is not happening at present. </p>
<p>We are therefore asking for your help in defending Polish children and children in clinical trials around the world. This is now happening in at least four countries because of the misinformation and the confidential agreements imposed by Pfizer.</p>
<p>Since June 2021, Pfizer has been conducting experimental trials on Polish children with vaccines against Covid-19. To our knowledge these experiments are done on healthy infants from 3 and 6 months of age up to age of 11. </p>
<p>These facts are not known to the Polish public opinion as Pfizer’s documents contain a “secret” clause. Even a member of the Polish Parliament who intervened in this matter has been refused access to the documents, in complete violation of  the Polish law. </p>
<p>8 Centers in Poland are known to be conducting the above testing however, these are  small private clinics and private clinical research centers who do not seem to be equipped to run such studies. </p>
<p>Separately, we are aware of one more center that has not been mentioned on Pfizer’s website. This raises the question whether there may be more undisclosed sites in the 4 countries that Pfizer is claiming these tests are being done. </p>
<p>From unofficial reports (we are in possession of recordings from July and August of this year) we know that children age 6 to 11 years old were already been injected with Pfizer’s product and children age 3 to 5 years old received  at least 1 dose.  </p>
<p>Children age 6 months old to 2 years old are currently being recruited however, Pfizer on its’ official website has released documents dated 20/09/2021 claiming that they are expecting results on the youngest group before the end of this year. </p>
<p>This suggests that trials in the youngest group started at the same time as in the older groups as <a href="https://www.pfizer.com/news/press-release/press-release-detail/pfizer-and-biontech-announce-positive-topline-results" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pfizer claims results of these trials will be available after 6 months</a>.</p>
<p>It is estimated that there may be around 1000 children being injected in Poland. </p>
<p>Considering how quickly these children have been recruited for the study we strongly suspect they come from orphanages and care homes, as this already has happened with trials of other vaccines. Under Polish legislation such exceptional cases need the authorisation of a court but so far we are unable to locate any court hearings allowing for such experiments on children. </p>
<p>Consent for these trials on infants and young children in Poland was given by Grzegorz Cessak, pharmacologist and president of the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products. He is also a member of the European Medicines Agency (EMA), which seems to create a conflict of interest. </p>
<p>As Pfizer did not complete animal studies nor studies on young animals (off springs) it seems that Polish infants and the youngest children are used as the first experimental ‘offsprings’.</p>
<p>If  relevant authorities of the Polish state do not take action, we will not be able to confirm how many of these children may or already have faced death or severe health complications. Administration of a genetic experimental technology is completely new in medicine and it is defined as a phase I and II / III clinical trial on infants and children 6 years of age and children up to 11 years of age. </p>
<p>In adults phase III is not completed but numerous complications were reported, including very severe thromboembolic, autoimmune and inflammatory problems and  even deaths. </p>
<p>Information about similar complications and unfortunate fatalities also applies to children from the age of 12. </p>
<p>We are in possession of audio recordings from all 8 centers that can serve as evidence in a criminal case. These recordings show that children from 6 to 11 years old have already been injected  and possibly 3 to 5 years  as well.</p>
<p>At the same time, it seems that the administration of the vaccines was suspended in the youngest group between 6 months and 2 years of age, because on July 22 there was a crisis meeting to decide “what to do”  (this might have been caused by protests of people from local freedom organizations near these centers).  </p>
<p>Following this episode it was stated that the recruitment of infants and children up to 2 years old will continue and restart  at the beginning of August. </p>
<p>Considering how many serious complications there are after these injections, including deaths in adults and adolescents these injections carry far more greater threat to  the life and health of these children than Covid-19 itself. </p>

<p><strong>Study to Evaluate the Safety, Tolerability, and Immunogenicity of an RNA Vaccine Candidate Against COVID-19 in Healthy Children <12 Years of Age</strong> </p>
<p> <em>On Monday, September 20, 2021 Pfizer has announced on </em><strong><em>their official  website</em></strong><em> results of as they called it first pivotal trial of COVID-19 vaccine in children under 12 years of age</em> </p>
<p><em>According to Pfizer in participants 5 to 11 years of age, the vaccine was safe, well tolerated and showed robust neutralizing antibody responses. Companies plan to submit these data to the FDA, EMA and other regulatory agencies around the world as soon as possible</em> </p>
<p><em>They also stated that results in children under 5 years of age are expected as soon as later this year.</em></p>
<p><strong>In regards to the Phase 1/2/3 Trial in Children</strong> </p>
<p>“The Phase 1/2/3 trial initially enrolled up to 4,500 children ages 6 months to 11 years of age in the United States, Finland, Poland, and Spain from more than 90 clinical trial sites. It was designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine on a two-dose schedule (approximately 21 days apart) in three age groups: ages 5 to 11 years; ages 2 to 5 years; and ages 6 months to 2 years.  </p>
<p>Based on the Phase 1 dose-escalation portion of the trial, children ages 5 to 11 years received two-dose schedule of 10 µg each while children under age 5 received a lower 3 µg dose for each injection in the Phase 2/3 study. The trial enrolled children with or without prior evidence of SARS-CoV-2 infection”. </p>

<p>After weeks of talking past each other, Democrats are finally negotiating in earnest on their budget reconciliation bill, the centerpiece of President Joe Biden’s economic agenda.</p>
<p>The discussions come after weeks of infighting between moderates and progressives, who’ve disagreed on the path forward. Moderates have pushed for a standalone vote on the bipartisan infrastructure plan, which they support, while progressives want concrete commitments from the moderates on a reconciliation bill, too. By tying the two bills together, progressives hope to guarantee that moderates won’t simply abandon the budget measure once their priorities pass.</p>
<p>At stake is a massive social spending bill that includes dramatic expansions to Medicare, funding for free community college and universal child care, and huge investments in clean energy.</p>
<p>Progressives on Thursday made it clear they wouldn’t be backing down, putting pressure on moderate Democrats to provide a concrete sense of where they stand on the reconciliation bill’s expansive social spending measures.</p>
<p>Now, with neither side giving in, lawmakers in both camps need to figure out what concessions they can tolerate.</p>
<p>Moderate Sens. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) have said a lot about what they won’t support, arguing they can’t get on board with a bill that spends $3.5 trillion over 10 years, a top-line figure agreed on by Democratic senators on the budget committee and the White House <a href="https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-senate-democrats-rush-outline-massive-infrastructure-bill-2021-07-13/">earlier this year</a>. Because no Republicans support the bill, all 50 Democratic senators will need to vote for it, so Manchin and Sinema have outsize sway in determining what the package will include.</p>
<p>Neither has offered much in the way of specifics yet. Manchin has said he’d be open to a $1.5 trillion measure, with few other details, while Sinema hasn’t publicly said where she stands. Pelosi has pushed both senators to <a href="https://www.politico.com/amp/news/2021/09/30/pelosi-push-infrastructure-vote-514805">accept a $2.1 trillion figure</a> while progressives would like to stick as close to the original $3.5 trillion proposal as possible.</p>
<p>Given the ongoing negotiations, it’s unclear what the reconciliation bill will include, what its total spending will be, or how long it will take for a deal to come together. That talks are happening at all, though, marks some kind of progress.</p>
<p>“We have been waiting for an offer to counter the $3.5 trillion that is on the table, and we understand that we’re going to have to get everybody on board in order to be able to close this deal,” Congressional Progressive Caucus chair Pramila Jayapal told reporters on Friday. “Until we get that, we don’t have anything to say about numbers.”</p>
<p>As negotiations continue, White House aides, congressional lawmakers, and President Biden are working to figure out what Manchin and Sinema will accept.</p>
<p>Manchin offered a few red lines <a href="https://static.politico.com/1e/ef/159cabd547868585f9b1a8f06388/july-28-2021.pdf">in a memo</a> he presented to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer in July, in which he said he wanted a budget bill no higher than $1.5 trillion along with a list of other demands:</p>
<ul>
<li>Means-testing new social spending, an approach that would limit access based on income to new programs like paid leave and child care. He offered no details on what the cutoffs would be, but broadly emphasized that he’d like more targeting on these efforts.</li>
<li>A guarantee that the Energy and Natural Resources Committee, which he chairs, would oversee the implementation of a clean energy standard.</li>
<li>Keeping corporate tax rates at 25 percent or below and the capital gains tax rate at 28 percent or below, both thresholds lower than the 28 percent corporate tax rate and 39.6 percent capital gains tax rate that Biden proposed, though they’re more in line with House proposals.</li>
</ul>
<p>Sinema, meanwhile, has said she can’t sign on to spending $3.5 trillion but hasn’t publicly offered a number of her own. In a <a href="https://twitter.com/SenatorSinema/status/1443630876362002432/photo/1">statement</a> released on Thursday afternoon, she noted that she’s outlined her position to the White House but won’t be sharing it more broadly. <a href="https://www.axios.com/kyrsten-sinema-biden-budget-bill-32692586-cd10-4ea4-9cac-c41c2a29d33d.html">As Axios reported on Friday,</a> she’s signaled where she stands on some areas: Like Manchin, she appears to support lower tax rates compared to Biden, favoring a 24 percent corporate tax rate and a capital gains rate in the mid-20s.</p>
<p>Progressives, on the other hand, have stood by a bill totaling $3.5 trillion and outlined five key priorities they want the bill to include: lowering prescription drug prices; investments in affordable housing; investments in climate jobs; funding for child care subsidies and paid leave; and a pathway to citizenship for immigrants, including DACA recipients.</p>
<p>Pelosi, who’s been involved in the latest discussions with both senators, has sought to push the total amount of spending in the bill to $2.1 trillion, <a href="https://www.politico.com/amp/news/2021/09/30/pelosi-push-infrastructure-vote-514805">according to Politico</a>.</p>
<p>Additionally, Pelosi has asked for detailed agreements on paid family leave and child care, climate change, and health care in any reconciliation framework, the publication reported. It’s an indication that these areas are priorities for the speaker, and ones less likely to be cut as Democrats weigh what to keep and what to pare back.</p>
<p>What actual cuts could look like is still uncertain, though <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2021/09/24/us/politics/democrats-social-welfare-climate-change-bill.html">the New York Times</a> examined a couple different scenarios:</p>
<p>As the Times reported, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) had already limited the duration of certain programs to reduce the bill’s costs. Democrats could try to do that again, for instance by expanding the child tax credit only through 2024 instead of 2025. Other programs like the expansion of Medicare coverage for vision, hearing, and dental care could be implemented more slowly to spread out the cost as well. (This bill’s spending is already spread out across 10 years, in part, to reduce the annual price tag.)</p>
<p>Certain programs like free community college could be stripped out altogether as well, <a href="https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/education-secretary-miguel-cardona-free-community-college-biden-agenda-democrats-2021-10">a scenario Education Secretary Miguel Cardona</a> has said he feared would take place if Democrats had to roll back their spending.</p>
<p>Some moderates have argued that progressives should accept the $1.5 trillion number given that spending such a sum on social programs would have been unimaginable a decade ago and would still represent a significant expansion of the safety net. In 2009, President Barack Obama secured $840 billion for the Recovery Act, and in 2010 estimates put the cost of the Affordable Care Act at $940 billion. Earlier this year, Congress approved the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan as well.</p>
<p>Progressives, meanwhile, say that Democrats have a rare opportunity to capitalize on their trifecta in Congress and the White House and that they need to deliver benefits in order to win in the midterms. They note, too, that $3.5 trillion over 10 years amounts to $350 billion a year, a figure that’s roughly half of what the US spends annually on its defense budget, and that they have already come down from a proposed $6 trillion spending package.</p>
<p>Many lawmakers, including members of the Senate, have also already bristled at the $1.5 trillion figure that Manchin put forth, an indication that any deal with that figure will face significant pushback. “I could see myself coming below $3.5 trillion but we shall see how far $1.5 trillion goes,” <a href="https://www.politico.com/news/2021/09/30/democrats-grit-teeth-manchin-demands-514836">Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) told Politico.</a> “He’s confirmed that’s as far as he’ll go, which is pretty sad if you ask me.”</p>
<p>But since the different groups of Democrats have genuine incentives to work things out — including looming midterms and the fact both pieces of legislation are central to the White House’s agenda — political experts think an agreement is more likely than a complete implosion of the process.</p>
<p>“It’s very much in the interest of all members of the Democratic Party to pass both bills,” said Laura Blessing, a senior fellow at Georgetown’s Government Affairs Institute.</p>
<p>Exactly what that agreement will look like, though, is still very much up in the air. And working out the actual policy details could take weeks or more. Any consensus on a framework would be significant, however, even if it means there’s still quite a long way to go.</p>
<p>“It doesn’t matter if it’s in six minutes, six days, or six weeks. We’re gonna get it done,” Biden said after a meeting with lawmakers on Friday.</p>

Why Merck’s Covid-19 pill molnupiravir could be so important

<p>The pharmaceutical giant Merck on Friday reported good news for people sick with Covid-19: Its <a href="https://www.merck.com/news/merck-and-ridgebacks-investigational-oral-antiviral-molnupiravir-reduced-the-risk-of-hospitalization-or-death-by-approximately-50-percent-compared-to-placebo-for-patients-with-mild-or-moderat/">antiviral drug molnupiravir</a> reduced the risk of hospitalization and death in at-risk patients by 50 percent, according to the company’s interim analysis.</p>
<p>A new and effective Covid-19 treatment — if approved by health regulators — could be a versatile tool for doctors to treat Covid-19 patients and could ultimately save lives. While there are a <a href="https://www.vox.com/22219434/covid-19-drugs-treatment-monoclonal-antibodies-plasma-antiviral-regeneron-remdesivir">number of treatments for Covid-19</a> on the market, many of them are expensive, difficult to administer, not widely available, or only marginally effective. Meanwhile, treatments that have little evidence behind them, like the antiparasitic drug <a href="https://www.vox.com/coronavirus-covid19/22686147/covid-19-vaccine-betadine-hydroxychloroquine-ivermectin-trump-conspiracy">ivermectin</a> and the anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine, have gained traction <a href="https://www.vox.com/coronavirus-covid19/22686147/covid-19-vaccine-betadine-hydroxychloroquine-ivermectin-trump-conspiracy">in some circles</a>.</p>
<p>Molnupiravir, originally developed to treat influenza, could solve many of these challenges. It’s administered as a twice-a-day pill for five days, compared to other Covid-19 treatments that require expensive intravenous transfusions, such as monoclonal antibodies and convalescent plasma. The antiviral drug <a href="https://www.vox.com/21530401/remdesivir-approved-by-fda-covid-19-fda-gilead-veklury">remdesivir</a>, currently the only drug with full Food and Drug Administration approval to treat Covid-19, also has to be delivered into the bloodstream.</p>
<p>A drug like molnupiravir (the name is a reference to <a href="https://www.science.org/content/blog-post/molnupiravir-thor-s-hammer-delivers">Thor’s hammer</a>, Mjölnir) could also help compensate for persistent gaps in Covid-19 vaccination coverage, both in the United States and abroad.</p>
<p>However, the results were announced in a company press release, which carries less scientific weight than a peer-reviewed paper or even a pre-print article that lays out the data for outside scientists to examine. Merck’s findings did come from a randomized phase 3 clinical trial of 775 adult Covid-19 patients. The participants had mild to moderate disease and were deemed to be at-risk but not hospitalized when the trial began in early August.</p>
<p>By day 29 of the trial, 7.3 percent of patients who received molnupiravir had died or were hospitalized, compared to 14.1 percent of patients who were in the placebo group (meaning they did not receive the drug). Merck says molnupiravir was also effective against coronavirus variants, including gamma, <a href="https://www.vox.com/22547537/delta-coronavirus-variant-covid-19-vaccines-masks-lockdown">delta</a>, and mu. The trial was halted, with the approval of regulators, once these results showed the drug’s effectiveness.</p>

<p>“With these compelling results, we are optimistic that molnupiravir can become an important medicine as part of the global effort to fight the pandemic and will add to Merck’s unique legacy of bringing forward breakthroughs in infectious diseases when they are needed most,” said Robert Davis, Merck’s CEO and president, in a statement.</p>
<p>Merck and its collaborator Ridgeback Biotherapeutics said they will apply for an emergency use authorization for this drug from the US Food and Drug Administration, which would allow doctors to begin prescribing it for patients. The federal government is already planning for its potential approval: It has committed to buying <a href="https://www.merck.com/news/merck-announces-supply-agreement-with-u-s-government-for-molnupiravir-an-investigational-oral-antiviral-candidate-for-treatment-of-mild-to-moderate-covid-19/">1.7 million courses of molnupiravir treatments</a> for $1.2 billion (about $700 per course), and production of the drug has already begun. Ridgeback Biotherapeutics and Merck expect to make 10 million courses of the drug by the end of the year.</p>
<p>But it will still be weeks or months before most people will have access to the little brown pill. And even when it is available, there may still be holdouts resistant to getting treated for the disease.</p>
<p>Viruses are tricky beasts to corner. They are passive parasites and can’t reproduce without hijacking the machinery of a host cell. That makes it really difficult to come up with a drug that can interfere with a virus’s life cycle without also causing collateral damage to healthy human cells. And because viruses mutate so quickly, an effective treatment can become less so over time.</p>
<p>Compare that to bacteria, which contain all the biological hardware they need to make copies of themselves. Their machinery is different enough from human cells that the class of drugs known as antibiotics can kill off many bacteria with minimal damage to humans.</p>
<p>Molnupiravir works a lot like the antiviral drug remdesivir (-vir is a suffix commonly used for antiviral drugs). The SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes Covid-19, makes copies of itself by encoding instructions on RNA, which is made up of “base” molecules identified by the letters A, C, U, and G. While remdesivir imitates A (adenosine), molnupiravir can mimic U (uracil) or C (cytosine).</p>
<p>When the virus incorporates remdesivir into its RNA, the drug causes its reproductive cycle to stall. Molnupiravir works a little differently, causing genetic <a href="https://www.nature.com/articles/s41594-021-00651-0">mutations that hamper the virus</a>.</p>
<p>Crucially, these drugs can fool the virus, but they don’t fool human cells, so they have a targeted effect and for the most part leave the human cells alone.</p>
<p>Merck didn’t note any specific side effects from molnupiravir in its press release and said the rate of complications was similar between the placebo group and the treatment group in the clinical trial. Unspecified side effects occurred in 35 percent of molnupiravir recipients but occurred in 40 percent of the placebo group.</p>
<p>Molnupiravir faced a bit of controversy in earlier stages of development. Some researchers previously raised concerns that molnupiravir’s mechanism could lead to some <a href="https://www.clinicaltrialsarena.com/comment/ridgeback-mercks-molnupiravir-for-covid-19-has-moa-administration-advantages-but-phase-iia-faces-execution-obstacles-may-have-value-gaps/">unanticipated problems</a>. Rick Bright, the former head of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, alleged in a <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2020/06/11/coronavirus-drug-ridgeback-biotherapeutics/">whistleblower complaint</a> last year that his agency was <a href="https://cen.acs.org/pharmaceuticals/drug-development/emerging-antiviral-takes-aim-COVID-19/98/web/2020/05">pressured into funding</a> the manufacture of the drug (then known as <a href="https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04405739">EIDD-2801</a>) before they received adequate safety data. The FDA tends to pay close attention to safety concerns as it evaluates drugs for emergency use.</p>

<p>While the US has multiple highly effective vaccines that help our immune systems fight Covid-19, the vaccination rate has slowed and many holdouts remain. At the same time, many other countries still don’t have access to enough vaccines. The unvaccinated continue to make up the majority of hospitalizations and deaths, with fatalities currently around 2,000 per day in the US alone.</p>
<p>Treatments for Covid-19, therefore, remain a vital component of the response to the pandemic. But developing new drugs to treat an illness is expensive and time-consuming, which is why researchers have been eager to find off-the-shelf therapies that have already been deemed safe to use against other ailments. Some have proven fruitful, like the corticosteroid <a href="https://www.vox.com/21292752/coronavirus-steroids-dexamethasone-covid-19-drug-treatment">dexamethasone</a>. Scientists have also seen promise in the antidepressant drug <a href="https://www.vox.com/future-perfect/22619137/fluvoxamine-covid-ivermectin-together-study-mcmaster">fluvoxamine</a> as a therapy.</p>
<p>New drugs like molnupiravir require more testing and review, but they offer the possibility of a stronger, more targeted approach. A drug like molnupiravir could be especially useful because it is administered in the early stages of the disease. Since it’s just a pill, it may spare the patient a trip to a clinic for a transfusion for treatments like monoclonal antibodies. That reduces the chances of an infected patient transmitting the virus to medical staff, and it averts potential complications associated with transfusions.</p>
<p>And while $700 for a course of molnupiravir isn’t exactly cheap, a transfusion alone can cost $1,000, and that’s on top of the cost of the drugs delivered intravenously. A course of monoclonal antibodies can cost <a href="https://www.wsj.com/articles/florida-texas-turn-to-antibody-treatments-as-covid-19-surges-11629284400">$2,100</a>, while remdesivir can cost <a href="https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2020/6/29/21307528/voxcare-remdesivir-price-coronavirus">$3,100</a>.</p>
<p>Pills are also much easier to store and transport than transfused drugs, so they can reach more remote areas with fewer resources.</p>
<p>That’s why some of the biggest effects of molnupiravir could occur in other countries, particularly in places where Covid-19 vaccines have yet to gain much of a foothold. <p>Treatments help people get better — but it’s important to remember that vaccination remains the single most effective tactic for controlling the pandemic. Vaccination can prevent sickness in the first place, and even the most expensive vaccines are dirt cheap compared to most therapies for the disease. The initial two doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine and the Moderna vaccine <a href="https://www.ft.com/content/d415a01e-d065-44a9-bad4-f9235aa04c1a">cost about $50</a>.</p>
<p>Other measures beyond drugs remain critical too. Wearing masks, social distancing, and testing for Covid-19 are still effective, and the arrival of an effective drug won’t be a reason to let our guard down.
