A nanny accused of murdering and decapitating a little girl who was in her care says she did it in revenge for President Putin ‘spilling Muslim blood’ in Syria.
A video has emerged online purporting to show the police interrogation of 38-year-old Gulchekhra Bobokulova from Muslim majority Uzbekistan. In the clip she says ‘Why is he killing Muslims and nobody is saying anything? The little ones want to live too’.
On Wednesday in court Bobokulova admitted to butchering the four-year-old and then walking around a Moscow metro station brandishing her head. She says ‘Allah ordered’ the killing.
