City officials in Austin, Texas are planning a door-to-door COVID vaccination program aimed at vaccinating the city’s “most at-risk neighborhoods.”
Data showing minority neighborhoods have a higher risk of contracting COVID and have the lowest vaccination rates has the city looking into how they can combat the disparities.
Explaining a plan to place vaccine clinics in these communities, Brown and Travis County Fire Rescue Chief Ken Bailey said, “If you build it they will come.”
Ironically, as Democrats around the country protest Georgia voting laws requiring a photo ID to engage in U.S. elections, the Austin pop-up vaccination sites would not involve filling out a lot of paperwork, “you’ll just need an ID.”
“We started to identify those people that weren’t coming. So, how do we reach them?” Bailey asked.
The answer is apparently bringing the vaccines to those individuals.
Asked if there are “any efforts to go door-to-door in some of these communities,” Travis County Judge Andy Brown said, “We are working with ESD’s, like Chief Ken Bailey is kind of piloting this idea, that we will go door-to-door and find apartment complexes and go one-by-one.”
“We’re starting to plan for those events and for the future as well,” Chief Bailey added.
The establishment is working overtime to propagandize Americans of every race, religion and political affiliation, but the hesitancy shown by African Americans irks the elite more than anything.
