The Senate Judiciary Committee deadlocked on a vote to confirm Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson on Monday.
The vote, which came out to 11-11 along party lines, means the full Senate will soon vote on Jackson’s nomination without an official recommendation by the committee.
The Senate is currently evenly divided between Republicans and Democrats 50-50 with Kamala Harris as the tiebreaker.
BREAKING NEWS: Supreme Court nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson has received an 11-11 tie vote in Committee. Under the provisions of S. Res. 27, Leader Schumer may now file a discharge motion to place her nomination on the executive calendar and schedule a full Senate vote.

All 50 Democrats will likely vote for Jackson’s nomination, and RINO Republican Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine), Mitt Romney (R-Utah), and Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) have signaled they would vote for Jackson, meaning she will likely be confirmed as things stand.
A full Senate vote for Jackson has yet to be scheduled.
Republicans on the committee voiced their opposition to Jackson during the confirmation process over her consistently lenient sentencing for pedophiles and child porn offenders.
