Joe Biden’s ineptitude and cognitive decline is driving America into a “dangerous” standoff with nuclear-armed Russia, according to former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
“First of all you have a real problem because you have a cognitively-challenged president and a cognitively hopeless vice-president and to have both of those in those positions means that there is no place to turn to for leadership,” Gingrich told Fox News host Sean Hannity on Monday.
“I think the performance over the last few days by President Biden was virtually equal to some of Kamala Harris’ performances and I think the country should be really worried. You know this is not a game.”
[embedded content]Gingrich noted that Biden’s recent outbursts calling for regime change in Russia have only confirmed “paranoid” Russian President Vladimir Putin’s suspicions that the West wants to destroy Russia.
“He’s always assumed that the United States wanted to destroy the Russian system. Now he’s had Biden sort of blurt it out, at least as seen by Putin, and I think that this is extraordinarily dangerous.”
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) also called out Biden’s cognitive decline on Monday, warning it nows poses a “national security risk.”

Likewise, Fox News host Tucker Carlson made a similar observation on Monday and called for Congress to invoke the 25th Amendment before Biden pushes the U.S. into a full-blown world war.
“All right. Joke’s over, too much is at stake. If there was ever a time, if there was, in U.S. history, ever a time, to invoke the 25th Amendment, it is now. As Joe Biden himself put it, ‘For God’s sakes, this man cannot remain in power,’ for all of our sakes,” Carlson pleaded.
