Several days ago, we wrote about how an Anglican Church in the UK invited a Muslim in to blaspheme Christ on the holiday of the Epiphany. In an Orwellian move, UK police are investigating Christians for "hate crimes" after some Christians complained about the Muslim's blasphemy online:

Offensive comments directed at clergy at St Mary's Cathedral, Glasgow, have prompted a police investigation after the Quran was read at a service last week.

Police Scotland confirmed it is investigating remarks after the Epiphany service contained a recitation from the Islamic holy book denying Jesus was the son of God – a key Christian doctrine.

"Police Scotland will not tolerate any form of hate crime and encourages all communities to continue working together to ensure no one feels threatened or marginalised," a spokesman told Christian Today.

Very Rev Kelvin Holdsworth invited the reading from Madinah Javed, a law student from Glasgow, at the January 6 service to celebrate Epiphany, the coming of the Magi to worship Jesus.

But Javed went beyond the passage translated for the congregation in the service sheet to include verses that explicitly denied Jesus was God's son – a fundamental difference between Islam and Christianity.

It is not clear whether Holdsworth authorised the extra verses or whether he was unaware Javed had recited the controversial passage.

Holdsworth has declined to speak to Christian Today.

The Cathedral defended the reading in a statement online but did not comment on the declaration that Jesus was not God's son.

"We listened with interest to the story that Muslims tell of the annunciation of Jesus in the Quran," the statement read.

"Such readings have happened a number of times in the past in this and in other churches and have led to deepening friendships locally, to greater awareness of the thing we hold in common and to dialogue about the ways in which we differ."

The Cathedral initially posted a video on Facebook of the reading describing it as a "wonderful event".

The post has since been deleted but it read: "The congregation was also reminded during the service that it is not only Christians who give honour to Jesus. We were joined by friends from two local Muslim communities."

A video of the incident on YouTube prompted outrage from some Anglicans with calls for him to quit. The video has also been removed. (source)

This is what I call warning shots.

If a Muslim made such an accusation against a Christian, the Christian would be investigated and prosecuted as far and as hard as legally possible. But now when a Christian lodges a complaint of the same nature, it triggers an investigation against him for "hate crimes." It is a sign for how deep the decline is.

Europe and America have been sinking into apostasy and paganism for a long time. They have allowed Islam to rise at the expense of Christianity. We have been repeatedly writing about this. We have been warning that persecution is coming, and it will be such a horrible persecution that it will be like nothing seen since Roman times.

Just as in the days of old, there will come a time when many Christians will be forced to choose who they serve. This has happened throughout history, but this time it will be much larger and more serious. Just as in the days of antiquity when being a Christian meant risking everything to follow Christ, so will it be again as formerly Christian world returns to paganism and, if things to on change, will complete its apostasy by entering into the Muslim world.

Why do you think we post so many stories about Christian persecution? Yes, it is to raise awareness about what is happening overseas and to help with the Rescue Christians Project where we have saves hundreds of Christians from a life of agony and death at the hands of Muslims. But it is also because what is happening in those nations is starting to happen here in the West. It does not have the same form or intensity yet as it does over in those nations, but it is coming to that point and most likely will be even worse than in those nations. If you are not ready to follow Christ and put your life where your faith is, you may not be able to stand up to what is coming.

Look at what happened to the UK during the Catholic persecutions of the Protestant Revolution. The Catholic Church, once at the center of English life, was literally decimated, its followers exterminated and forced to flee or die lest they apostatize, their lands and properties taken from them, and the presence of the Church absolutely gutted solely for power, as Protestant author William Cobbett noted. This was also the impetus behind the destruction of the Irish people during the "Potato Famine" that was less a famine and instead a robbery of the Irish people's only food supply with the intention of committing genocide against them because they were poor Catholics.

Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a Lutheran pastor who worked with Catholic and Protestant resistance fighters against the National Socialists during World War II and was a part of the plot to kill Hitler. He was captured and executed by hanging towards the end of the war.

Fast forward a century later, and Catholics and Protestants both who opposed the National Socialist paganism found themselves in the death camps, subject to torture and death the same way that countless Slavs, Jews, and other peoples were. The same happened in Soviet Russia, where Catholic and Orthodox Christians alike were hauled off to death camps in Siberia.

These things happened just 100 years ago. If this is what happened then, what will be in the future? The answer is clear- a full out war against God and His Church with the intention of doing just what the Muslims promised to do- exterminate Christianity from the earth.

This cover from the Charlie Hebdo magazine was shared by "conservative" bloggers all over the Internet. Excuse me, but how can a man be a "conservative" and even a so-called "Christian" and support blasphemous, perverse filth such as this? The answer is simple- the neopagans and neofacists  hate Christ just as much as the Muslims do. There really is little difference between them.

Why do you think these same pagans and Muslims, while they say they hate each other, work so closely together? Because their anger comes from the same source. They all hate Jesus and His Church, and they will work with each other to destroy it. The difference between the Neo-facist, the Neo-pagan, and a member of Hamas is the difference between Coke, Pepsi, and Sprite- the same base, just a different flavor and color. It is all together evil, and once cannot trade one evil for another.

God is love, and love is both mercy and justice. God gives us the choice to choose mercy or justice, and if we do not choose His mercy, we will be forced to pass through the door of His justice. Choose His mercy NOW and be ready, for while nobody knows the day or the hour and the future can change, the signs are clear that something tremendously wicked is about to break over Europe. Don't be found unprepared.
