On Sunday evening I took my eldest daughter to see 13 Hours, for those who are not aware of this movie, it is the story of what happened in Benghazi on September 11th 2012 from the eyes of the brave military operators contracted to the State Department, who saved the lives of dozens of US intelligence staff and in doing so lost two of their own and two others including Sean Smith and Ambassador Stevens.

If you look on the Internet most of the reviews are negative, and if you also notice the negative reviews all come from left and far left agenda driven publications. Prior to the film I noticed this so I did not believe them and I was right not to. The film is an emotional rollercoaster ride, with very believable and credible acting performances. While there is a lot of war drama, i.e. gunfights and explosions this only takes place in the second half of the film. We get into the hearts, minds and quirks of brave American warriors who defended the lives of their fellow Americans, despite the criminal indecision of our secular leaders. The film does not focus on that issue but based on how the story unravels it is very obvious that this was the case.

The film does not enter politics, and focuses on the story. While there is a dispute over whether a stand down order was or was not given, this is really an irrelevant matter as we all know that no air support or ground reinforcements were sent in a timely manner, nor was the order given to the help with the available people to rescue the Ambassador at the residence when it could have been done, immediately after the first attack was launched by the terrorist gangs, when decisive action would have probably saved Sean Smith and the Ambassador.

Political considerations after seeing the film are easily determined. It is beyond obvious for any independent or conservative observer that Benghazi was a shameful incident and an embarrassment to the prestige and values of the United States. What exaggerated this disgusting failure was the lies doled out to “We The People.” We had to endure the crop of lies mainly concerning the “video.”

Forty-three years ago President Richard Nixon was caught lying about a burglary, which cost him his office.

President Obama is the first person to squawk about American values and his lack of values is what contributed to the deaths of four Americans along with Hilary Clinton, their lying to us cost them nothing. American values went down the drain both from the office of the Presidency, as well as a lying media that covered for him, especially since it was two months prior to the 2012 election campaign. Forty-five years ago, any incident like this would have gotten any US president impeached, yet today blatant lying on serious matters of security is all but ignored by a corrupt and biased media.

While Benghazi was a disaster for American prestige it was also a proud moment for the character of many brave individual American servicemen who showed us what true American heroes are, when faced with danger, and are in a position that is against the odds of winning. These men were let down badly by our leadership but prevailed despite such incompetence and treachery.

Please go to the movie and tell others to see it as well, it is a great movie; ignore the left wing loons who panned it. My daughter cried at the end and I was again enraged against the people who are meant to lead and defend this country, yet failed through indecision and incompetence.

The success of this movie is paramount as by honoring our brave servicemen, who did save dozens of people. It is also a statement of who we are as Americans, the land of the free and the home of the brave. Let us elect a leader in November who will be the embodiment of who we really are as a country and throw out the bums who do not represent the true values of the United States of America.
