Idaho fugitive gets caught after posting his softball plans on Facebook

Never mix business with pleasure and that is what Joey Patterson did. He hoped to chill out with his friends for a softball game and was caught by Caldwell police officers based on the location he had given in the invite on the Facebook.
The 22 year old fugitive who has been at large since violating his probation made a post on his Facebook page inviting friends to join him at batting practice in Boise. The police who had been on lookout for Joey immediately alerted the Caldwell police officers who showed up at the softball field where Joey was practising softball batting and caught him. He is now being held in Canyon County Jail without a bond.
Joey was wanted on a felony warrant for violating his probation on a fraud case out of Twin Falls.
Caldwell Police Sgt. Joey Hoadley says police often use social media to track down a fugitive. Hoadley says “even fugitives can’t keep from updating their Facebook status, and it leads to some great arrests.”
As we said above, never mix business with pleasure!!
