Tesla CEO Elon Musk criticized Joe Biden as a “damp sock puppet” on Twitter Thursday, at the same time also issuing support for anti-vaccine mandate truckers making headlines in Canada.
Musk’s anti-Biden sentiments were expressed in response to a video tweeted by Biden where he and General Motors CEO Mary Barra outlined a new $7 billion investment into GM and Ford electric vehicle manufacturing, ignoring Tesla’s own innovations in the market.
“I meant it when I said the future was going to be made right here in America,” Biden captioned the tweet. “Companies like GM and Ford are building more electric vehicles here at home than ever before.”
Musk shot back, “Starts with a T, Ends with an A, ESL in the middle.”

Replying to a Twitter user who wrote “Shame on Biden…for this lie,” Musk responded, “Biden is a damp sock puppet in human form,” using the emoji for a sock.

“Biden is treating the American public like fools,” Musk commented to another Twitter user who accused Biden of “trying to cancel a great American company [Tesla] and rewrite EV [Electric Vehicle] history.”

It’s pretty bizarre that despite its well-established reputation with EVs, the Biden administration seemingly wants nothing to do with Tesla.
News blog InsiderPaper.com notes: “As a point of reference, GM delivered only 26 EVs in the fourth quarter, compared to Tesla’s delivery of more than 900,000 electric vehicles.”
Aside from his contentions with Biden, the tech billionaire also took time to lend support to a convoy of truckers driving to Ottawa to take a stand against the Canadian government’s excessive Covid lockdowns, vaccine mandates, vaccine passports and other fascist decrees.

“Canadian truckers rule,” he tweeted in support of the rebellious 50,000+ vehicle convoy.
“CB radios are free from govt/media control,” added Musk, who has a follower count of over 71 million.
Musk continued his Twitter spree with another head-scratcher Thursday afternoon, questioning why the United Nations had not yet issued its 2020 death statistics.
