Video going viral online shows a New York Yankees fan defending his MAGA hat from a pair of angry liberals and receiving a massive cheer from the crowd after he put the cap back on in defiance of the attackers.
The incident took place during Sunday night’s Mets Vs. Yankees game at Yankee Stadium.
The pair of guys filming the scene shouted, “Trump 2024! Put the hat back on bro,” as the Trump supporter talked with stadium security.
After being encouraged by several surrounding fans of both the Mets and Yankees, the man placed the MAGA hat back onto his head and the crowd went ballistic.
A Twitter user claiming to be a friend of the man with the MAGA hat posted an alternative angle of the scene where the crowd noise can be heard even more.
It seems as if President Trump is more popular than the establishment portrays, even in New York City!
Only part of the scuffle was caught on camera.
A man and his female companion can be seen trying to snatch the MAGA hat out of the man’s hand, and the woman cried to security, saying the Trump attire shouldn’t be allowed and screaming, “That’s bullshit!”
“Free speech,” others yelled at her.
