President Donald Trump slammed Republican colleagues Liz Cheney and Mitt Romney in statements released by the Save America coalition Monday.
In press releases circulating on social media Monday, Trump bashed Rep. Cheney (R-Wyo.) as a “warmonger” following new polls which presumably showed she is deeply unpopular.
“Heartwarming to read new polls on big-shot warmonger Liz Cheney of the great State of Wyoming,” reads Trump’s statement targeting the GOP conference chairwoman.
“She is so low that her only chance would be if vast numbers of people run against her which, hopefully, won’t happen. They never liked her much, but I say she’ll never run in a Wyoming election again.
The president’s statement came after a post on his website DonaldJTrump.com Monday that disputed the “fraudulent” results of the 2020 election.
“The Fraudulent Presidential Election of 2020 will be, from this day forth, known as THE BIG LIE!,” the president wrote.
A livid Cheney responded with a tweet claiming “The 2020 presidential election was not stolen,” and that Trump was demeaning the “rule of law” and “poisoning our democratic system.”
On the same day, Trump also hit back at his old GOP nemesis Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah), who Trump labeled a “RINO,” short for “Republican in Name Only.”
“So nice to see RINO Mitt Romney booed off the stage at the Utah Republican State Convention,” Trump said in a statement.
“They are among the earliest to have figured this guy out, a stone cold loser!”
Trump was referring to recent footage showing Utahns booing Romney at a GOP convention in West Valley City.

It’s clear Trump hopes voters will hold Democrat-leaning members of the GOP to account.
