Former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe slammed Joe Biden for taking credit for a ceasefire in a conflict that he essentially helped start.
The most recent conflict between Israel and the Palestinians erupted just a month after Biden sent hundreds of millions of dollars in aid to the Palestinians.
“I got to tell you, Maria, watching Joe Biden two days ago take credit for a ceasefire was like watching an arsonist show up to try to take credit for putting out a fire that he helped start,” Ratcliffe said. “Let’s be real clear about this, those 4,000 rockets that went into Israel were not Hamas rockets, they were Iranian rockets.”

“They were paid for, or built by or put together by Hamas militants trained by Iran in aerodynamics and propulsion necessary to attack Israel.”
“But you don’t have to take my word for it,” Ratcliffe noted. “The Iranian leader Ayatollah Khomeini two days ago took credit for what he claimed was the victory over Israel by Iran. And Hamas’ leader thanked Iran for its help in that victory.”
“So to watch what the Biden administration and how they have emboldened Iran when we warned them ‘look, if you reverse these policies and embolden Iran, you’re gonna jeopardize this hard-earned Middle East peace,'” he added.
Last week Biden tried to take credit for the Israel-Hamas ceasefire that came after 11 days of rocket attacks by the Palestinian terror group.
“Over the last 11 days, I spoke with the prime minister six times. I’ve also spoken with President Abbas and the Palestinian Authority more the once and part of our intense diplomatic engagement,” Biden gloated.
