The fight over the mass importation of Muslims into Europe is splitting along East-West lines. We have followed how all of Eastern Europe would eventually seal themselves off from the West, but that Austria would be an exception. While it is a Western European nation, Austria is the most "eastern" of them and historically will go with the east, although it usually does so late.
Just as predicted, Austria is now joining the rest of Eastern Europe and will be sending troops to it borders to effectively shut down passage for Muslims coming through the Balkans, leaving only the main Western routes through Italy and Spain open:
Austria is planning to send troops to help patrol the EU’s external borders and shut down completely the so-called Western Balkan route for migrants.
“There’s no question – the European solution is always the best solution. But we’re not going to wait any longer. We will implement this plan of action within the agreed deadlines,” Hans Peter Doskozil, Austrian Defence Minister, told reporters in Vienna.
Wednesday’s meeting included counterparts from the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Albania, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo and Greece. (source)
It is good to see Austria moving towards its historical allies. That said, in spite of this development, do not lose sight of the bigger picture, which is that these Muslims are being allowed in as a means of manipulating policy. They are being allowed to cause chaos with the intention of starting a counter reaction that will culminate in a great and terrible war.
