Scores of Tunisians demonstrated in capital Tunis on Wednesday in protest at a deadly attack on a museum that left 21 people, mostly foreign tourists, dead.
"We are here to stand up against terrorism," Abdel Sattar Ben Moussa, chairman of the Tunisian League for the Defense of Human Rights, told.
Protesters, who gathered in downturn Tunis, waved banners condemning terrorism.
The rally came shortly after at least 21 people, including 17 foreign tourists, were killed when gunmen attacked the Bardo museum in capital Tunis.
Polish, Italian, German and Spanish nationals were reportedly among those killed in the attack.
There has been no claim of responsibility for Wednesday's attack.
"We all should come together to tackle this dangerous phenomenon," Ben Moussa said.
"Tunisia is in a dire need for an effective anti-terrorism strategy," he added.
