<p>Additionally, body cam footage shows Jones working with Capitol police to quell the growing unrest and calling on protesters – alongside Shroyer – to exercise their First Amendment right to protest peacefully and respectfully.</p>
<p>Jones laid out in detail the timeline of events that took place leading up to the Capitol protest on January 6, explaining how he and Owen, contrary to the false narrative that they organized the riots, actually tried to stop them.</p>
<p>The fact is that Shroyer never entered the Capitol building and never called upon patriots to do so, but he and Jones encouraged peaceful marching.</p>
<p>Fox News host Tucker Carlson even ridiculed the FBI for targeting Shroyer, suggesting he was only getting arrested for humiliating Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) during a censorship hearing in 2019.</p>
<p>“What did Owen Shroyer do? He didn’t go inside the Capitol building on January 6,” Carlson said Friday. “He stood on the Capitol steps with hundreds of other people. He didn’t even loot Macy’s like Black Lives Matter. He just stood there on the Capitol steps, a building he thought he owned as an American citizen.”</p>

National Poll Finds Most Voters Believe Biden Unfit to be President

<p><strong>The majority of voters don’t believe Joe Biden is mentally or physically capable of executing the duties of the presidency and that he is not currently running the White House, according to a recent poll.</strong></p>
<p>The survey by <a href="https://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/biden_administration/who_s_in_charge_most_voters_don_t_think_it_s_biden">Rasmussen Reports</a> found that 51% of voters believe others are making executive decisions for Biden in the White House, with only 39% believing Biden is actually doing his job as president.</p>
<p>That’s <a href="https://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/biden_administration/is_joe_biden_really_doing_the_job_of_president_nearly_half_of_voters_doubt_it" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">down from 47%</a> in March — a drop of 8 points.</p>

<p>The phone and online survey of 1,000 likely U.S. voters was taken this week following Biden’s remarks defending his administration’s handling of Afghanistan.</p>
<p>“We’re gonna go back in hindsight and look, but the idea that somehow there’s a way to have gotten out without chaos ensuing, I don’t know how that happens,” Biden <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/biden-defends-policy-decisions-afghanistan-booster-shot-fallout/story?id=79507933" target="_blank">told</a> CBS anchor George Stephanopoulos.</p>

<p>Reporters Without Borders called Saturday on US President Joe Biden to make "a special plan for evacuating endangered Afghan journalists" from Taliban-controlled Kabul.</p>
<p>RSF said the United States currently seemed to be concerned only with the evacuation "of its own citizens and former employees".</p>
<p>"This is blocking the evacuation of those on the lists of sensitive persons who are in danger," it added.</p>
<p>"We are receiving dozens and dozens of urgent evacuation requests," said RSF chief Christophe Deloire.</p>
<p>"Our problem today is not getting visas or seats on planes, it is making it possible for these people to access planes."</p>
<p>The NGO is calling on the US to postpone the end of its military operation at Kabul airport so journalists and rights activists from various countries and organisations can be identified and given access.</p>
<p>"It will be materially impossible to complete the evacuation of all those in great danger, including Afghan journalists, by 31 August," it said.</p>
<p>"The image of the United States as a defender of press freedom and human rights is at stake," Deloire said.</p>
<p>The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) said it had received "hundreds of requests for help" from Afghan journalists, mostly women, who are "in panic and fear".</p>
<p>The Taliban, looking for a <em>Deutsche Welle</em> journalist now based in Germany, shot dead a member of his family on Wednesday and seriously wounded another, German radio reported.</p>
