One of the suspects is missing.Of the six men convicted today, five are Bangladeshis who crossed the border in March 2015 and then attacked a co-ed school run by missionaries at Ranaghat, 80 km from Kolkata. The sixth is a resident of Habra in the North 24 Parganas district. He had conspired with the others at his home to hatch the plot to rob the convent.Around 2.30 am, the men entered the convent attached to the school and were looting valuables from the chapel when the sisters raised an alarm. The senior-most nun tried to stop them; she was raped after the others were locked up in a different room.She then had to be rushed to the hospital and undergo surgery.The attackers fled at dawn with cash worth 12 lakhs.The incident drew global condemnation. A police post was located just 100 metres from the convent but cops were not patrolling the area and came to know of the crime only when the sisters raised an alarm.Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, too, had condemned the incident and ordered a probe by the Criminal Investigation Department of the state police (CID). But when she tried to visit Ranaghat, angry mobs blocked her convoy for about an hour. The number of hepatitis A cases among those men are higher this year than last year, health officials added. The other two Los Angeles County cases were among two people who are homeless.“Several additional cases are pending further investigation,” according to the alert.“All (men who have sex with men) should be offered (hepatitis) vaccination,” the alert advised health care professionals. “Vaccination is the best method for preventing (hepatitis) infection.”Last year, there were nine hepatitis A-confirmed cases reported among men who have sex with men, health officials said.Much of the vaccination outreach efforts in Los Angeles have been focused on homeless people who live in encampments. Health officials are concerned that,  because of an outbreak among homeless people in encampments in San Diego and Santa Cruz counties, the disease will spread in Los Angeles.  As of Oct. 26, there have been 536 cases and 20 deaths in San Diego. In Santa Cruz, there have been 75 cases. This is a fact of life on the streets, and it is an easy and effective way to spread diseases transmitted by contact with human waste such as Hepatitis A.California is of particular note with the Hepatitis crisis because as it has been reported, in many cities homeless people are allowed to get away with committing dangerous and sickening acts in public and the police do not stop them. This is why people representing these different and seemingly separated groups will on various social causes seem to unite at certain times and with great vigor. The saying "politics makes strange bedfellows" is true, but the reason why they are all "in bed" with each other is because the separations between them are not as concrete as one would imagine them to be, or perhaps that those in those groups (particularly on the lower echelons of power) will even perceive them to be.There is another saying which says "lie down with dogs, and come up with fleas," meaning that one will pick up the characteristics, traits, and habits of those who one associates simply by being around them. Everybody is affected by the behavior of those around them, and while to a certain extent one cannot stop certain influences, there is also a choice that one has in so far as to the degree that one chooses to associate with and be influenced by those around him.For example, a homeless person is at a much higher risk of getting Hepatitis A because he sleeps outside, and he does not per se know where certain people have or have not done their business, and owing to the street environment, he is at a much higher risk of contracting this sickness. It was not until after the 10th plague with the death of the first born over all the nation that he finally relented.I am not saying this is going to happen or not happen. What I am saying is that in the Bible, we see a pattern of mercy being given until a fuller form of justice is served, and it is truly a fearful thing to fall into the hand of the living God, for as He is all that is, we can bring to Him nothing but our intentions, our actions, and the record of the life that we lived and the lives we affected.Every man must face God, and the time to accept His mercy is NOW because there is no promise of tomorrow for anybody.Today it might be diseases, but who knows what tomorrow will bring? The Rescue Christians project has gone all over the world helping people, and in early 2017 Rescue Christians Director Keith Davies traveled to Hungary to meet with a coalition of Christian organizations to deliver a presentation to the Hungarian government and ask them to help with rescuing persecuted Christians in light of the "refugee crisis" in Europe.What Keith discovered and reported on in February 2017 was that the Hungarian government, in spite of all of their pro-Christian rhetoric, had no interest in actually helping Christians at all except in so much as to give the outward impression that they wanted to help Christians. They gave verbal acknowledgement to the Christian organizations, including Rescue Christians, and asked the groups to sign a document saying that Hungary agrees that it should help the persecuted Christians, but without anything else. Rescue Christians even put in a direct offer to the government to help 25 Pakistani Christians, but they refused:<blockquote>I was hopeful that the government of Hungary based on its recent statements of support for the persecuted; who refused to be bullied by the EU and because of its past history from the threat of the Islamic empire would be a beacon of light to the persecuted church, alas I was so very wrong. A darkness not seen since the 1930s and 40s has now covered Europe. The Christians of the Middle East, Far East and Africa are doomed to the same fate as the Jews unless we can find countries who are righteous. Europe has turned its back on its Christian brethren who are in dire need of rescue....We submitted a petition to the government requesting emergency assistance to 25 Pakistani Christian families in Bangkok needing a safe haven. It is two weeks and we have received no response to our petition. The Hungarian government has been pressured by the EU to take Muslim refugees and they have refused but have indicated they are willing to help the Christians instead. This is a bare face lie! The Hungarian government is playing political games to avoid helping anyone. They have no interest in helping Christians, they as per the usual politicians, they talk a good game but there is no real action as to what is actually needed to alleviate the suffering of the persecuted.
