Watch: West Virginia Gov. Lifts Dog and Tells Bette Midler To Kiss Her Butt

West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice told progressive liberals like actress Bette Midler to kiss his dog’s ass during his State of the State speech Thursday night.
Before ending his speech, Justice called for someone to bring him his bulldog “Babydog,” who he held while finishing his address.
“Absolutely people doubted us. They never believed in West Virginia. They never believed in West Virginia, that we could do it,” the governor said going on to tout several successful West Virginian companies.
“They never believed they would be here. They told every bad joke in the world about us. And so from that standpoint, Babydog tells Bette Midler and all of those out there, kiss her hiney,” he said, lifting his English bulldog.

Justice’s gesture was a response to Midler’s angry remarks last month criticizing the people of the state of West Virginia as “poor, illiterate and strung out” after Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) went against his fellow Democrats and voted against Joe Biden’s Build Back Better bill.

Widow Of Slain NYPD Officer To Soros DA: “We Are Not Safe Anymore”

The widow of New York Police Officer Jason Rivera spoke at his funeral last Friday where she was joined by family, friends and thousands of his fellow officers.
Officers Jason Rivera and Wilbert Mora died after being shot in Harlem on Friday while responding to a domestic violence call.
Dominique Luzuriaga voiced her anger at the soft crime policies of the left, saying, “The system continues to fail us. We are not safe anymore, not even the members of the service. I know you were tired of these laws, especially the ones from the new DA. I hope he’s watching you speak through me right now.”
The crowd applauded loudly when Luzuriaga condemned Soros District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

Rivera’s wife spoke about a fight she had with Rivera just before he died.
The pair got into an argument and she took an Uber ride just before what turned out to be his final shift.
Later that day, Luzuriaga received a notification on a phone app saying two police officers were shot in Harlem.
“My heart dropped,” she said before explaining she then texted him to ask if he was okay.
When she checked the location on Rivera’s cellphone, it said he was at Harlem Hospital, and she hoped he was just there doing police work.
Eventually, Dominique got the call that she needed to come to the hospital.
When she arrived, dozens of people were standing outside the hospital, staring at her and not saying anything.
“I felt alone,” she said. “I was lost, I’m still lost.”

The man who allegedly killed Rivera and Mora, LaShawn McNeil, was shot by another officer during the standoff and died in a hospital on Tuesday.
<a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.baltimoresun.com/news/crime/bs-md-lashawn-mcneil-dead-20220125-jykvmyuyhvd3xh2vodlnpjeeve-story.html" target="_blank">According to McNeil’s mother</a>, he was often ranting about anti-government podcasts he listened to, his hatred of cops and his vegan diet.
Once again proving the narratives of the anti-gun left wrong, <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://heavy.com/news/lashawn-mcneil/" target="_blank">McNeil used a firearm that was stolen in Baltimore in 2017</a> and was a felon who was not allowed to purchase firearms.
Earlier this week, New York artist and activist Scott LoBaido was arrested <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/video-nyc-artist-arrested-for-protesting-manhattans-woke-soros-da/" target="_blank">after engaging in a protest outside Bragg’s office</a> where he spoke out for Officer Rivera and other New York crime victims.

What we found when we went looking for another Earth

In 1584, Italian friar Giordano Bruno argued that other stars had planets of their own and that those planets had inhabitants. He had no real proof of his claims — they just felt true. But they were heretical enough to get the attention of the Roman Catholic Church. The Inquisition arrested Bruno, put his tongue in a vice, and <a href="https://blogs.scientificamerican.com/observations/was-giordano-bruno-burned-at-the-stake-for-believing-in-exoplanets/">burned him at the stake</a>.
Four hundred years later, the idea of exoplanets (the term for planets outside our solar system) had become much more popular. Books, TV, and movies teemed with alien worlds orbiting alien suns. But one thing remained the same. We still had no proof that they existed.
Then, in 1995, astronomers discovered 51 Pegasi b — a planet orbiting a sun-like star in the Pegasus constellation. Many scientists were skeptical at first; this planet was almost too strange to be believed. Though it was about the size of Jupiter, it was closer to its star than Mercury is to our sun. Most surprisingly, it completed its orbit in just 4 days.
The years that followed brought a trickle of other discoveries, then a flood. New telescopes were sent to space and new computers crunched the data they collected. Today, we’ve confirmed the existence of nearly 5,000 exoplanets, with many more candidates waiting in the wings. Those planets paint a surprising picture of our galaxy. While astronomers once wondered if any stars have planets; now planetary systems seem the norm. 51 Pegasi b wasn’t a fluke — gas giants zipping around close to their stars (nicknamed “Hot Jupiters” or “Roasters”) are actually very common. We’ve also found lots of “super earths” — rocky worlds two to 10 times bigger than Earth.
Our solar system, on the other hand, seems less common than some had imagined. We haven’t found anything quite like it. But … it’s still early. And the data we’ve gathered so far has many scientists feeling confident that somewhere out there, just waiting for our telescopes to swing in the right direction, is a planet like Earth.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk criticized Joe Biden as a “damp sock puppet” on Twitter Thursday, at the same time also issuing support for anti-vaccine mandate truckers making headlines in Canada.
Musk’s anti-Biden sentiments were expressed in response to a video tweeted by Biden where he and General Motors CEO Mary Barra outlined a new $7 billion investment into GM and Ford electric vehicle manufacturing, ignoring Tesla’s own innovations in the market.
“I meant it when I said the future was going to be made right here in America,” Biden captioned the tweet. “Companies like GM and Ford are building more electric vehicles here at home than ever before.”
Musk shot back, “Starts with a T, Ends with an A, ESL in the middle.”

It’s pretty bizarre that despite its well-established reputation with EVs, the Biden administration seemingly wants nothing to do with Tesla.
News blog InsiderPaper.com <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://insiderpaper.com/elon-musk-biden-american-public-fools-canadian-truckers-rule/" target="_blank">notes</a>: “As a point of reference, GM delivered only 26 EVs in the fourth quarter, compared to Tesla’s delivery of more than 900,000 <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://insiderpaper.com/tesla-has-applied-to-sell-electricity-in-texas/" target="_blank">electric vehicles</a>.”
Aside from his contentions with Biden, the tech billionaire also took time to lend support to a convoy of truckers driving to Ottawa to take a stand against the Canadian government’s excessive Covid lockdowns, vaccine mandates, vaccine passports and other fascist decrees.
