Breaking: CNN Fires Chris Cuomo Following Recent Suspension

CNN star anchor Chris Cuomo was fired on Saturday, just days after the network <a href="https://www.zerohedge.com/political/cnn-reviewing-documents-showing-chris-cuomo-was-untruthful-viewers">suspended him</a> amid an internal investigation into his efforts to help his brother, former Governor Andrew Cuomo, fight a sexual harassment scandal.
“Chris Cuomo was suspended earlier this week pending further evaluation of new information that came to light about his involvement with his brother’s defense,” read a Saturday statement from CNN. “We retained a respected law firm to conduct the review, and have terminated him, effective immediately. While in the process of that review, additional information has come to light. Despite the termination, we will investigate as appropriate.”
As the New York Times reports, the announcement is a ‘stunning downfall’ for the network’s top-rated anchor who had – up until last month – enjoyed the support of CNN president Jeff Zucker. He notably faced no discipline for strategizing with his brother’s political aides – ‘a breach of basic journalistic norms.’
Brian Stelter of CNN‘s “Reliable Sources” predicted Cuomo would be back in January. Whoops.

Chris Cuomo’s undoing came after the NY Attorney General released a batch of testimony and text messages on Nov. 29 which revealed Cuomo had played a far more intimate and direct role in his brother’s damage control.

In May, CNN anchor Jake Tapper spoke out publicly against the Cuomo brothers – saying that his colleague had “put us in a bad spot,” adding “I cannot imagine a world in which anybody in journalism thinks that that was appropriate.”

Pro-Vaxxers Triggered After Country Music Legend Reveals He Won’t Get Vax

Austin, Texas-based country music legend Dale Watson triggered leftists with a Facebook post announcing he won’t play venues that require him to get vaccinated.
On Wednesday, the honky-tonk musician revealed he may forgo appearing on an upcoming country music boat cruise, and possibly other venues, due to his refusal to comply with Covid restrictions.
“I’m a man of beliefs and conviction and they are my own,” Watson <a href="https://www.facebook.com/theDaleWatson/posts/4096646817102091" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">wrote on Facebook</a>. “I will not be on the Outlaw Cruise because of them. I also, I’m sure, will not be allowed in many venues because of them.”
The post features a photo of Watson standing beside a sign reading, “Not forcing you – just taking away everything until you consent.”
Watson went on to acknowledge he has “natural immunity,” suggesting he was opposed to a cruise-required Covid-19 vaccination.
“I will stay strong in the mainstream ridicule. Even when ‘friends’ would eagerly say ‘just do it.’ It’s sad. I’m a man that has complete natural (and better, according to most real studies) immunity, but that is never considered because there is no money to be made in Natural immunity. My beliefs. It does not have to be yours. I will take a test before every gig to insure everyone’s peace of mind, but that is not enough for this administration,” he wrote.
Indeed, the company that operates Outlaw Cruise’s seafaring vessel, Norwegian Cruise Lines, does impose a vaccine requirement, according to the <a href="https://www.austinchronicle.com/daily/music/2021-12-02/dale-watson-refuses-performance-due-to-covid-vaccine-requirement/">Austin Chronicle</a>, which noted the cruise line’s owner sued Florida officials after they banned businesses from being able to impose vaccine mandates.
“I’m just informing my friends and fans of the predicament I’ve been put in and my choice of dealing with it. Your beliefs are yours. Gods speed to you. But mine are mine. I hope the world wakes up from this brainwash but I will not hold my breath.”

Despite requesting fans who disagreed with his opinion to “be adults” and “keep scrolling,” many angered pro-vaccine social media users responded with vitriol and accused Watson of being selfish and anti-science.

Fully Vaccinated UFC President Dana White Recovers From COVID After Taking ‘Dr. Joe Rogan’ Treatment

UFC President Dana White thanked Joe Rogan for recommending ivermectin and monoclonal antibodies to him after he and his family contracted the China Virus over Thanksgiving weekend.
White, who’s fully vaccinated, explained to TMZ on Saturday how after again contracting COVID he sought medical advice from Rogan, who quickly recovered from COVID himself by taking ivermectin and monoclonal antibodies.
“This morning I tested negative. Thank you, Dr. Joe Rogan!” White exclaimed.

“In all seriousness, Joe Rogan is a brilliant guy, and he talks to the most brilliant people out there. He studies, he does his homework on all this stuff, and it’s a fact that this works.”
In a previous interview on the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cviU5n17mig" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">“Jim Rome Podcast”</a>, White recommended everybody look into ivermectin and monoclonal antibodies.
“Rogan has worked with over 30 or 40 people that have done this and he swears by it, and he’s a good friend of mine that I’ve known for over 20 years. So yeah, I believe in what he’s saying. I believe the things he explained to me on how this thing works made sense to me,” White said.
“If you got COVID, I would urge you to do this,” White added. “Not only did I believe in it before I did it, now I’ve actually done it. I’m on day three of COVID. Day three of COVID, smell and taste is back. I could not feel better and I’m doing two-a-day workouts while I’m going through COVID.”
This isn’t the first time someone sought medical advice from Rogan.

“I consulted with a now good friend of mine, Joe Rogan, after he got COVID,” Rodgers said. “I’ve been doing a lot of the stuff that he recommended in his podcasts and on the phone to me. I’m gonna have the best immunity possible now based on the 2.5 million-person study from Israel that (stated) people who get COVID and recovered have the most robust immunity.”
Rogan even revealed that his <a href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/joe-rogan-confirms-his-doctor-treated-over-200-members-of-congress-with-ivermectin/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">doctor treated over 200 members of Congress</a> with his ivermectin regiment.
The <a href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/joe-rogan-calls-don-lemon-a-dumb-motherf-er-for-continuing-horse-de-wormer-smear/">media has been demonizing Rogan</a> ever since he revealed he recovered from COVID-19 by taking ivermectin – which the media continuously characterizes as “horse dewormer” – simply because it’s a cheap and medically safe alternative to the injection.

Former President Donald Trump called for an investigation into the 2020 election “insurrection,” claiming if nothing is done about the widespread fraud then “you really can’t look to the future.”
Trump made the remarks in a Thursday interview with Brexit architect Nigel Farage, who asked if Trump’s 2024 campaign message would focus on the stolen 2020 election or the future ahead.
“I think it has to be both,” Trump replied. “If you don’t study what took place and do something about it – if possible, I think they’re going to do something about it – I don’t view that as a forgone conclusion. If you don’t look back, you really can’t look to the future.”

Trump said the “insurrection” as characterized by the Democrats on January 6 was actually a legitimate protest against the real insurrection of the stolen 2020 presidential election.
“It was a massive rally with hundreds and hundreds of thousands of people. I think it was the largest crowd I’ve ever spoken to before,” Trump replied.
“And I reverse it. The insurrection took place on November 3, that was Election Day, and before and after, that was to me the insurrection. And January 6 was a protest,” he added.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Saturday urged Germans to get vaccinated against Covid-19, speaking days ahead of leaving office in the final episode of more than 600 weekly video podcasts.
"I once again emphatically ask you to take this tricky virus seriously," Merkel said, calling the fourth coronavirus wave to hit Germany "very serious" and even "dramatic", with intensive care units overloaded in some parts of the country.
"The new Omicron variant in particular seems to be even more infectious than those that came before. Get yourself vaccinated, whether it's your first shot or a booster," she added.
"Every vaccine helps."
After 16 years in power, Merkel is expected to pass the reins to Social Democrat Olaf Scholz following a vote in parliament on Wednesday to elect the new chancellor.
In her podcast, she thanked "those who are reasonable and understanding in this difficult period" and "stick to the rules to protect themselves and take care of others".
"You are the vast majority in our country. You demonstrate the civic responsibility that's so marvellous about our country, without which no chancellor or government can achieve anything."
One of Scholz's first steps as head of government is expected to be passing a law to make vaccination compulsory from February or March next year.
Most of the political spectrum has rallied behind the previously controversial move.
Looking back at her first video podcast in 2006, Merkel recalled that "back then it was very unusual for a head of government to address the public online so directly".
"My hope at the time, that the World Cup should be a great party even beyond the stadiums, was more than fulfilled," she added, using the "summer fairy tale" moniker Germans still apply to the football tournament they hosted that year.
While Merkel touched on a vast range of subjects in podcasts over her time in office, from digitalisation to anti-Semitism, in the past two years she has frequently spoken about the pandemic.
