Video: Paris Police Check Proof of Vaccination While Diners Eat

The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah questioned whether the CEO of Moderna had a conflict of interest in calling for new vaccines to fight Omicron, only to be attacked as an “anti-vaxxer” by his own fans.
Yes, really.
A clip of the segment was posted on Twitter a few hours ago and is already stoking controversy.
In it, Noah points out that all the cases of Omicron so far have been characterized by mild symptoms, a perfectly accurate point (no one in the world has died from the new variant yet).

“The guy who stands to make millions of dollars from new vaccines says we need new vaccines, huh?” asked Noah.
The comedian then made a joke about Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel buying a Ferrari with his vast profits.
Earlier this week, Bancel <a href="https://www.ft.com/content/27def1b9-b9c8-47a5-8e06-72e432e0838f">said</a> that existing vaccines wouldn’t provide sufficient protection against the Omicron variant, remarking, “This is not going to be good.”
“I’m not saying that the CEO of Moderna is lying…I’m just saying I don’t think he’s the most objective source on this topic,” said Noah. “I’ll wait to hear what neutral experts say about a new vaccine.”
However, the comments in the thread below what are perfectly cogent comments by Noah are filled with angry leftists denouncing him as an “anti-vaxxer.”

Seth Rogen in Public Meltdown Over Crap Santa Inc. Reviews

The new episode of South Park, which satirizes COVID hysteria, features a plot where a new variant of the virus is discovered, prompting mass panic and martial law.
Great timing.
The new installment is set in a South Park decades into the future where Stan, Kyle and Cartman are all grown up.
In one clip posted to YouTube, a doctor announces that the cause of Kenny’s death was a new variant of COVID, namely “the COVID delta-plus rewards program variant.”
The citizens of South Park then immediately panic and begin looting stores for food and toilet roll and clamoring for face masks, while parents rush to put their kids in front of Zoom remote learning calls.

The military then seals off South Park and tells the residents they are being quarantined and can’t leave.
“We have confirmation that one person in this community has never been vaccinated against COVID, so we must quarantine everyone,” says the military commander.
The only thing the creators appear to have got wrong is that authorities refuse to name the unvaccinated person because in the future it’s illegal to “single out or ridicule anyone for their personal beliefs.”
In our existence, the press and social media mobs would ensure they were doxxed and identified within hours.
The episode was obviously produced before the recent discovery of the Omicron variant, so its timing is impeccable.
Another clip from the episode illustrates what the show’s creators expect the world to look like in the near future.
In summary, Alexa assistants have now become annoying holographic people, everything has “plus” or “max” added on the end of its name, homelessness and violent criminality is widespread, police stations are boarded up, and children are all transfixed by virtual reality headsets.
Feels like we’re almost there now.

Seth Rogen Claims ‘White Supremacy’ Is To Blame For His Abysmal Christmas Show Failure

“Comedian” Seth Rogen took to Twitter Thursday in a public meltdown during which he pinpointed ‘white supremacy’ as the reason why his new Christmas show Santa Inc. has received such an abysmal reaction from audiences.
“We really pissed off tens of thousands of white supremacists with our new show <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/SantaInc?src=hashtag_click">#SantaInc</a> which is now available on HBOMAX! (Please read the responses to this tweet for confirmation),” Rogen tweeted.

Rogen is referring to the adult animated show’s characterisation of Santa as the stereotypical ‘old white male’ that Hollywood liberals love to hate.
The plot of the series focuses on a young female elf who wants to become the new Santa, while Santa himself is portrayed as a ruthless, uncaring and vulgar head of a corporate operation.
In the trailer, one of the characters notes “The position of Santa has mostly been a white man’s game,” while another character adds “Let’s go over what we know. Santa and the board are all male and all whites. They play golf, drink smoke cigars. Say things like don’t ever marry your mistress.”
In another part of the trailer, the elf, voiced by Sarah Silverman says to Santa “more Americans believe in you than they do vaccines and the holocaust,” to which Santa replies “sounds great, I mean disheartening for America, but great for us.”
Practically every other word in the show is unnecessarily the word “fuck,” “fucking,” or “bitch,” where there probably should be actual jokes.
Yeah, you get the gist.

Rogan made the ‘white supremacy’ comments after the show received negative backlash and poor initial IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes scores, although it was likely just his intention to hit the hot angle of ‘white supremacy’ all along, it just happens to give him an out from poor reactions.

During a Senate hearing Wednesday, Texas Senator Ted Cruz interrogated Biden judicial nominee Dale Ho, noting that he has made several scathing verbal attacks on Republicans recently, and in the past admitted that his “hatred” towards conservatives provides a source of “moral clarity”.
Cruz pointed out “I would note, just sitting here, this may be a first in that you have tweeted attacks at multiple members of this committee including Senator Lee, Senator Cotton, Senator Blackburn, Senator Cornyn, and far from being intemperate statements when you were a teenager, most of these tweets occurred last year.”
“So in the last 12 months, you have engaged—or the last about 18 months—you have engaged in partisan attacks on multiple members of this committee,” Cruz asserted.
You can’t look at Ho’s tweets currently, because <a href="https://twitter.com/dale_e_ho">his Twitter account</a> has been set so that “Only approved followers can see” what he posts now.
Cruz also quoted Ho from November 2017, when he wrote “In these dark times, I’ve been fortunate to find tremendous sense of purpose in my work as a civil rights lawyer. But as a colleague of mine asked me over lunch recently, Dale, do you do this because you want to help people or because you hate conservatives? What he was getting at is that anger can, in fact, be a tremendous source of power.”
Ho, who has been <a href="https://www.nationalreview.com/bench-memos/with-dale-ho-biden-delivers-yet-another-judicial-nominee-to-liberal-dark-money-interests/">nominated by Biden to serve the Southern District of New York</a>, further wrote at the time “For me, righteous indignation, can provide a sense of moral clarity, and motivate the long hours needed to get the work done. But it’s only a short term burst. It’s not sustaining in the long run.’”
Cruz directly asked Ho “If you wake up and are Judge Ho, and I recognize that New York is a blue state, but imagine there is someone who considers himself or herself a conservative in the state of New York, who, God forbid, finds themselves in a courtroom where you’re wearing a robe. What comfort do you think that litigant would have that you described the hatred of conservatives, the righteous indignation, the anger at conservatives, as a tremendous source of power for you personally?”
“How does that possibly give anyone comfort that you would be a fair and impartial judge?” Cruz added.
After Ho claimed what he said was a “joke” Cruz snapped back “Well, that’s not what you said. What you said is you describe hatred and righteous indignation directed at conservatives, and I would note that that’s a pattern that also continues.”
Ho also claimed that he wants to follow in the footsteps of judges who do not bring their own politics “on the bench.”
“Well, your record suggests precisely the contrary,” Cruz responded.

Centers For Medicare And Medicaid Services Will NOT Enforce Biden’s Vaccine Mandate

<h4>Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the federal agency responsible for administering the government healthcare programs, has issued a memo suspending their enforcement of Joe Biden’s costly and controversial vaccine mandate.</h4>
The memorandum, posted to social media by Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt explains that CMS “will not enforce the new rule regarding vaccination of health care workers or requirements for policies and proecudes” due to “court-ordered injunctions in place prohibiting enforcement of this provision.”
The memo cites <a href="https://nationalfile.com/breaking-federal-judge-blocks-biden-vaccine-mandate-for-health-workers-in-10-states/">separate decisions</a> from the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, which have both issued injunctions against Joe Biden’s mandate, effectively stopping it before it can begin.
“CMS has appealed both of these decisions, and has filed motions for stays of these orders,” the federal agency added. The stays will also prevent CMS from surveying healthcare providers to determine whether they have been vaccinated.
“CMS recently issued a memo suspending enforcement of their vaccine mandate on health care workers,” wrote Schmitt, who said the victory came “following our win in court halting the mandate on Monday.”

Regarding the victory achieved by Schmitt in Missouri, <a href="https://nationalfile.com/breaking-federal-judge-blocks-biden-vaccine-mandate-for-health-workers-in-10-states/">National File reported on November 29:</a>

The judge’s order states, “IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Defendants are preliminarily enjoined from the implementation and enforcement of 86 Fed. Reg. 61,555 (Nov. 5, 2021), the Interim Final Rule with Comment Period entitled “Medicare and Medicaid Programs; Omnibus COVID–19 Health Care Staff Vaccination,” against any and all Medicare– and Medicaid–certified providers and suppliers within the States of Alaska, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming pending a trial on the merits of this action or until further order of this Court.“
“Defendants shall immediately cease all implementation or enforcement of the Interim Final Rule with Comment Period as to any Medicare– and Medicaid–certified providers and suppliers within the States of Alaska, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming,’ the court added.
