Peter Schiff: Stock Up Now! Inflation Could Get Very Ugly

<p>The price of pretty much everything is rising precipitously. The <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://schiffgold.com/peters-podcast/peter-schiff-non-transitory-worse-than-expected-inflation/" target="_blank">CPI for September came in above expectations</a> with a month-on-month increase of 0.4%. Peter Schiff appeared on Unfiltered with Dan Bongino to talk about inflation in Joe Biden’s America. Peter said you should stock up now because things could get ugly really quickly.</p>

<p>Bongino pointed out that while wages are rising, they aren’t rising as fast as prices. Wages have risen 4.6% while inflation has surged by 5.4% — according to government numbers. Peter said that is typically the trend.</p>

<p><strong>The price of labor never keeps up with the price of stuff.”</strong></p>

<p>Peter said the real problem is during and after COVID, a lot of Americans stopped working.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, they didn’t reduce their spending because the government made the mistake of replacing the incomes they lost with new money that the Federal Reserve was printing. So, we were making fewer things to buy, but everybody had more money to buy stuff, and so, prices just went ballistic. And they’re going to keep going up.”</p>

<p>Bongino pointed out that the rich have accounts and hedge mechanisms to shield themselves from the impacts of inflation. But what does an average middle-class family do to avoid the financial apocalypse of inflation coming down the pike?</p>
<p>Peter said, first of all, remember that <a href="https://schiffgold.com/videos/peter-schiff-inflation-is-really-a-tax/">inflation is a tax</a>.</p>

<p><strong>So, when the Biden administration says they’re not taxing people that make less than $400,000, they’re hitting them with this huge inflation tax.”</strong></p>

<p>So, how do you avoid it?</p>
<p>Peter said, <strong>“Stock up now!”</strong></p>

<p>Buy the things that you think you may need a year from now, two years from now. Buy it now. Especially the stuff that is nonperishable. <strong>Because in the future, stuff is going to be in even shorter supply than it is now, but prices are going to be much higher.</strong> So, why wait for the prices to go up? Just buy the stuff that you need now while it’s available and a lot less expensive than it’s going to be pretty soon.”</p>

<p>Bongino said we have plenty of historical examples that show us an inflation problem can get very ugly very quickly if we don’t get our arms around it. Just look at what happened in the Weimar Republic. Peter said it will get ugly, and there really is no way to get our arms around it.</p>

<p><strong>I think we’re going to reap the whirlwinds of the winds that we’ve been sowing. And you know, you have to go back to the 1970s to see inflation anywhere near this bad. </strong>The problem is we’re already at the point that we were at the latter part of the 1970s. We’re just getting started. So, we’re going to be looking at serious annual inflation rates in the double digits. And imagine how high the official rates would be if the government was actually measuring them accurately. Because we’re not keeping track of prices using the same CPI that we used back in the 1970s. What we’re doing now really understates the true degree to which prices are rising. <strong>And so Americans are feeling the pain of inflation to a much greater degree than it’s being reflected in the official numbers.”</strong></p>

Country Music Legend Travis Tritt Boycotts “Any Venue or Promoter Mandating Masks, Requiring Vaccinations, or Pushing COVID Testing”

<p><strong>Superstar country musician Travis Tritt made a stand against venues mandating masks, vaccine passports or negative Covid tests in order to get into shows.</strong></p>
<p>Tritt canceled concerts in Muncie, Indiana; Philadelphia, Mississippi; Peoria, Illinois; and Louisville, Kentucky.</p>
<p>Speaking with <em><a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/sacrifice-im-willing-to-make-country-artist-cancels-concerts-at-venues-requiring-masks-vax-proof-or-covid-tests" target="_blank">the Daily Wire</a></em>, Tritt said, “I’m putting my money where my mouth is and announcing that any venue or promoter mandating masks, requiring vaccinations, or pushing COVID testing protocols on my fans will not be tolerated,” Tritt said in a statement sent to The Daily Wire. “Any show I have booked that discriminates against concert-goers by requiring proof of vaccination, a COVID test, or a mask is being canceled immediately.”</p>
<p>“Many people are taking a firm stand against these mandates around the country, and I wholeheartedly support that cause,” Tritt continued. “I have been extremely vocal against mandates since the beginning.”</p>
<p>The country star explained that he is happy to support freedom-loving business owners.</p>
<p>“This is a sacrifice that I’m willing to make to stand up for the freedoms that generations of Americans have enjoyed for their entire lifetimes. There are plenty of promoters and venues around the country that appreciate fans and the freedom of choice in this great country, and those are the promoters and venues that I will be supporting.”</p>
<p>“Let me be very clear. I’m not speaking out against vaccines. I’m speaking out against anyone forcing the vaccines on people who may not want or need them,” Tritt wrote on Twitter.</p>

<p>Tritt also joined <em>Louder With Crowder</em> on Monday to discuss his stance.</p>
<p>He told Crowder, “We have to preserve our freedoms. We’ve never been in a situation in this country where the government has been able to force you to take medicine that you may or may not need.”</p>

<p>In July, guitar legend Eric Clapton <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/eric-clapton-says-he-wont-play-shows-where-proof-of-vaccine-is-required/" target="_blank">made a similar announcement</a>, telling fans he’d be canceling any shows at venues mandating vaccine passports during a 2022 tour.</p>
<p>Last month, <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/a-tale-of-two-comedians-patton-oswalt-vs-jp-sears-on-vaccine-passports/" target="_blank">comedian JP Sears also told followers</a> he had to cancel some shows due to venues making attendees show proof of vaccination.</p>
<p>Hopefully these performers are setting an example for others who may be considering speaking out but are afraid of backlash from the media and the establishment mob.</p>

Hundreds of Airline Employees Protest Vaccine Mandates at Southwest HQ

<p><strong>Hundreds of Southwest Airlines employees gathered outside the company’s headquarters in Dallas, Texas on Monday to protest its adherence to Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate.</strong></p>
<p>The protesters – comprised of pilots, flight attendants, and other workers – lined up along the road by Dallas Love Field Airport holding signs that said “My Body My Choice,” “No Jabs For Jobs,” “Freedom Not Force,” and “Terminate the Mandate.”</p>

Chicago Mayor Lightfoot Says Fraternal Order of Police Attempting to “Induce an Insurrection” by Opposing Vaccine Mandates

<p><strong>Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D) claimed that the city’s Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) is inciting an “insurrection” by protesting Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate.</strong></p>
<p>“You asked a question of why the lawsuit. Because we believe that the FOP leadership is trying to foment an illegal work stoppage to strike,” Lightfoot said during a press conference Monday, referring to a complaint she filed Friday against the FOP. “The police unions are not authorized to strike.”</p>

<p>“What we’ve seen from the Fraternal Order of Police, and particularly the leadership, is a lot of misinformation, a lot of half-truths, and frankly, flat-out lies in order to induce an insurrection,” she said.</p>
<p>“And we’re not having that. And so, we want to make it very, very clear that the law is on our side, we feel very confident about it.”</p>
<p>Lightfoot also criticized FOP President John Catanzara for telling the rank-and-file officers not to follow the vaccine mandate.</p>
<p>This comes after a federal judge put a <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://chicago.suntimes.com/city-hall/2021/10/15/22727984/mayor-lightfoot-vaccine-standoff-police-union-court-fop-fraternal-order-of-police-john-catanzara" target="_blank">gag order</a> on Catanzara on Friday for warning that up to half of Chicago’s police force will stay home when the Dec. 1 vaccine mandate deadline passes.</p>
<p>After the court hearing, Catanzara took to YouTube to say officers “need to do what’s in their hearts and minds,” and criticized Chicago leadership before announcing his candidacy for mayor in 2023.</p>

<p>The Chicago Police Department disseminated a <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://abc7chicago.com/chicago-police-fop-john-catanzara-mayor-lori-lightfoot/11139232/" target="_blank">memo</a> to the FOP threatening disciplinary action if Chicago police don’t get the jab.</p>

<p>Lightfoot gave all city workers until Friday to notify City Hall of their vaccination status, or else go on “non-disciplinary no-pay” status. </p>
<p>The standoff between FOP and Lightfoot is putting her in an uncomfortable political position, evidenced by her refusal Friday to say just how many police officers are disobeying Biden’s vaccine mandate.</p>

Boeing Employees Planning #FreedomFlu Sickout Fridays in Response to Covid-19 Vaccine Mandate

<p><strong>Leaked documents suggest that there will be another mass “sickout” event will soon take place, this time at Boeing, which recently <a href="https://archive.is/yeEgn" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">threatened its unvaccinated employee</a>s with being fired if they refuse to get vaccinated against Covid-19.</strong></p>
<p>Several Boeing employees based in Seattle reportedly sent <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://thepostmillennial.com/leaked-boeing-workers-planning-freedomflu-sickout-over-company-vaccine-mandate" target="_blank">Human Events</a> copies of internal documents showing that so-called #FreedomFlu sickouts are set to take place in response to the company’s refusal to tolerate unvaccinated staff at its workplaces.</p>

<p>One of the documents read: “Boeing has acted in bad faith and knew months ago that they were going to mandate us at the end of the year. They told us it was going to happen.</p>
<p>“They are now leading the world to believe we have ample time to make a decision by Dec. 8th. That’s a lie. We are now protesting at the union and we are now doing the #FreedomFlu.”</p>
<p>An image posted within a tweet by Jack Posobiec, senior editor at Human Events, shows a laminated sigh stating that there will be a “Right to Choose Sickout” event happening every Friday starting October 15th and continuing indefinitely.</p>
<p>The deadline for employees to get the Covid-19 jab is reportedly December 8th, and the mandate will apply to approximately 140,000 members of staff throughout the company.</p>
<p>Union workers at Boeing are reportedly really upset with the company because it “acted in bad faith” concerning the possibility of a vaccine mandate,</p>
<p>For months, these union workers were led to believe that their leadership was fighting proposed mandates and working on a compromise. At the very least, they expected that regular testing would be made an option for those who do not wish to get vaccinated.</p>
<p>In a message to his members in the October issue of the union’s paper “<a href="https://www.iam751.org/docs/Oct_2021_AeroMechanic.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Aero Mechanic</a>,”</p>
<p>International Association of Machinists (IAM) District 751 President Jon Holden explained that “the reality is our members are polarized on this issue.”</p>
<p>“It is our responsibility to defend and advocate for all our members including those who can’t or won’t accept the vaccine,” Holden added.</p>
<p>Any Boeing employee who is not “fully vaccinated” is being forced to get the first dose of Moderna no later than October 27, or the first dose of Pfizer no later than November 3. Anyone who chooses the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) single-dose jab will have until November 24 to get it.</p>
<p>Internal Boeing emails state that a failure to meet the vaccine requirements by the deadline would result in an involuntary resignation, not a termination for cause.</p>
<p>“It is considered a resignation and would not result in any variation of policy for pay out of VAC, PTO, SL, Pension, 401K.”</p>
<p>The same email also stated that Boeing wants to retain all of its employees, but that many of them “have strong feelings around the recent company response to the Executive order implementing a Vaccine Requirement.”</p>
<p>Unless a Boeing employee is able to submit proof of a medical or religious exemption from getting the Covid-19 jab he or she “may be released from the company,” further explained an image from the company’s presentation that was delivered via a webcast from management to employees.</p>
<p><strong>Boeing claims that it has no choice but to abide by “President Biden’s recent executive order requiring COVID-19 vaccines for federal contractors.”</strong></p>
