<p>At least two Indian-origin persons have been killed in the US state of New Jersey after they were swept away by flash floods caused by Hurricane Ida, according to a media report on Sunday.</p>
<p>Hurricane Ida, which made landfall on August 29 in Port Fourchon, Louisiana, is the second-most destructive hurricane to hit the state on record, only after Hurricane Katrina (2005).</p>
<p>Ida transitioned into a post-tropical cyclone on September 1, killing 65 people across the US, with the majority deaths in New Jersey, New York and Louisiana.</p>
<p>Indian-origin Malathi Kanche, 46, a software designer, was driving home with her 15-year-old daughter on Wednesday when her vehicle halted in waist-deep floodwater on Route 22 of Bridgewater, New Jersey, the New York Times newspaper reported.</p>
<p>Kanche and her daughter held onto a tree as floodwaters pulled them, according to a family friend, Mansi Mago, but the tree fell, pulling Kanche in the torrent.</p>
<p>Initially, officials put Kanche on the list of "missing persons".</p>
<p>She was confirmed dead on Friday, the report added.</p>
<p>Danush Reddy, 31, was stranded in the flood in South Plainfield, New Jersey, when he lost balance and tumbled near a 36-inch-wide sewer pipe.</p>
<p>Officials said Reddy was pulled into the drain pipe and his body was found miles away.</p>
<p>Apart from deaths and damage to the ecology, Hurricane Ida has battered the civic infrastructure in the northeastern states of the US.</p>

<p>Thirteen Iraqi policemen were killed in an ISIS group attack against a checkpoint in the country's north early Sunday, security and medical sources said.</p>
<p>The attack, in the region of Al-Rashad around 65 kilometres (40 miles) south of Kirkuk city, took place just after midnight, a senior Iraqi police officer told AFP.</p>
<p>"Members of the ISIS organisation targeted a federal police checkpoint," said the officer, who did not want to be named. </p>
<p>"Thirteen were killed and three wounded" among the security forces, the officer added. </p>
<p>A medical source based in Kirkuk confirmed the toll.</p>
<p>There was no immediate claim of responsibility. </p>
<p>ISIS seized swathes of Iraq in a lightning offensive in 2014, before being beaten back by a counter-insurgency campaign supported by a US-led military coalition.</p>
<p>The Iraqi government declared the Sunni extremists defeated in late 2017, but they retain sleeper cells which continue to hit security forces with asymmetric attacks.</p>
<p>Jihadist cells regularly target the Iraqi army and police in northern Iraq, but this attack was one of the most deadly this year.</p>
<p>A July 19 bombing claimed by ISIS officially killed 30 people in the Al-Woheilat market in Sadr City, a Shiite suburb of Baghdad.</p>
<p>International coalition troops in Iraq currently number around 3,500, of which 2,500 are US troops.</p>
<p>But Washington has been drawing down its military presence amid attacks on facilities it uses by Iran-aligned armed groups and has said that from next year the role of US troops will be limited to training and advising their Iraqi counterparts. </p>
<p>Last Sunday, French President Emmanuel Macron visited Iraqi Kurdistan and expressed concern about an ISIS "resurgence" in both Iraq and Syria.</p>
<p>He also said that French soldiers deployed in Iraq as part of the international coalition will remain in the country "no matter what choices the Americans make".</p>

Rolling Stone Runs Ivermectin Poisoning Hoax Story

<p><strong>Rolling Stone magazine is leading the charge on a fake news campaign against the anti-parasite drug ivermectin amid reports more Americans are turning to it to treat COVID-19.</strong></p>
<p>The publication ran a story entitled, “<a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/gunshot-victims-horse-dewormer-ivermectin-oklahoma-hospitals-covid-1220608/" target="_blank">Gunshot Victims Left Waiting as Horse Dewormer Overdoses Overwhelm Oklahoma Hospitals, Doctor Says</a>” on Friday following reports that <a href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/breaking-joe-rogan-successfully-treats-himself-with-ivermectin-alex-jones-responds/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Joe Rogan included the drug</a> in his COVID treatment regimen.</p>

<p>In the article, a person called Dr. Jason Elyea told <a href="https://kfor.com/news/local/patients-overdosing-on-ivermectin-backing-up-rural-oklahoma-hospitals-ambulances/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">local media</a> his Oklahoma hospital emergency rooms were over capacity due to a huge influx of patients who supposedly overdosed on ivermectin to treat COVID.</p>
<p>The problem is, <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://nhssequoyah.com/" target="_blank">Northeastern Health System</a>‘s Sequoyah branch that’s the focus of Rolling Stone’s article released a statement on its website claiming Dr. Elyea does not work at the hospital, and has not treated any patients in at least two months.</p>
<p>Furthermore, <strong>the hospital itself claims it hasn’t treated a single patient for ivermectin overdose</strong>.</p>
<p>“Although Dr. Jason McElyea is not an employee of NHS Sequoyah, he is affiliated with a medical staffing group that provides coverage for our emergency room. With that said, Dr. McElyea has not worked at our Sallisaw location in over 2 months,” the NHS statement reads.</p>

<p>NHS Sequoya also refuted Elyea’s claim that its hospital was overwhelmed with patients who overdosed on ivermectin and had not turned any patients away as a result.</p>

<p>There you have it — fake news.</p>
<p>Why would publications like Rolling Stone and <a href="https://www.newsweek.com/patients-overdosing-ivermectin-are-clogging-oklahoma-ers-doctor-1625631">Newsweek</a> run these hoax stories about alternative COVID treatments like ivermectin?</p>
<p>Likely the same reason why the <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/trust-the-science-cdc-counts-people-dying-within-14-days-of-jab-as-unvaccinated/" target="_blank">CDC counts anybody who dies within two weeks of receiving the mRNA injection as “unvaccinated”</a>: to shape a narrative that coerces people into getting the experimental jab.</p>
<p>Why else would the <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/wow-cdc-gives-incoming-refugees-nobel-prize-winning-ivermectin/" target="_blank">CDC provide ivermectin</a> to incoming Afghan migrants but not recommend it for American citizens?</p>

<p><strong>Fox News host Tucker Carlson explained how the U.S. military has been lying to the American people about “progress” in the Afghanistan War for the last two decades.</strong></p>
<p>“Consider that no matter how badly our mission in Afghanistan was deteriorating—we were never clear on what that mission was—but clearly, our strategy of pacifying the nation was falling apart,” Carlson said Friday on his “Tucker Carlson Tonight” opening monologue.</p>
<p>“No matter how bad it got in Afghanistan, the Pentagon and its spokesmen repeatedly told us they were making incredible progress. And “progress” is the word they used again and again and again—almost as if they coordinated it.”</p>

<p>Carlson went on to play several clips of military brass over the years talking about the incredible “progress” the U.S. has made in Afghanistan.</p>
<p>“So if you’re wondering why Americans are so confused that Kabul fell in an afternoon and the Taliban controlled the country we occupied for 20 years, maybe it’s because they thought we were making progress,” Carlson noted.</p>
<p>Carlson explained how that attitude extended to Joe Biden himself, who told the American people that we were making great “progress” in the Middle Eastern country, despite <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-afghan-president-change-perception-taliban-winning" target="_blank">telling installed Afghanistan president Ashraf Ghani in a private phone call</a> released by Reuters that the situation wasn’t looking good.</p>
<p>“So considering that whole chronology — consider the news Reuters broke this week about Joe Biden’s recent conversation with the guy we installed as the “president” of Afghanistan, some college professor called Ashraf Ghani,” Carlson said.</p>
<p>“Joe Biden told Ghani that, even as the Taliban was taking over the country this summer, the most important thing was keeping up the appearance of, you guessed it, progress. ‘I need not tell you the perception around the world and in parts of Afghanistan, I believe, is that things are not going well in terms of the fight against the Taliban,’ Biden said. ‘And there is a need, whether it is true or not, there is a need to project a different picture.'”</p>

<p>“Project the illusion of progress, even when it’s clear we’re failing. Tony Blinken, who runs the State Department ineptly, just announced the news that more than a hundred American citizens are trapped in Afghanistan—really kind of progress.”</p>
<p>“So now, we’re arming the Taliban and marooning our own citizens in Afghanistan. Who could possibly have seen that coming?” he added.</p>

Hydroxychloroquine was one of the drugs being trialled. In the R<a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5cde3c7d9a69340001d79ffe/t/5ea3fd83f222897b8d528195/1587805583231/REMAP-CAP+-+COVID-19+Antiviral+Domain-Specific+Appendix+V2.0+-+01+April+2020_WM.pdf" target="_blank">ECOVERY Trial and the REMAP-CAP Trial</a> they used an extremely high and potentially lethal dose: 800 mg at 0 and 6 hours followed by 400 mg at 12 hours and then every 12 hours for up to nine additional days. A patient was therefore given 2,400 mg in the first 24 hours of treatment.</p>

<p>According to David Jayne, professor of clinical autoimmunity at Cambridge University:</p>
<p>“Hydroxychloroquine overdose is associated with cardiovascular, neurological, and other toxicities, occurring with doses over 1500 mg, and higher doses are associated with fatality.”</p>
<p>In an article for the BMJ found <a href="https://www.bmj.com/content/370/bmj.m2670" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">here</a> co-head of the Recovery Trial Martin Landray explained:</p>
<p>“The dose comes from modelling by Nick White, professor of tropical medicine at the University of Oxford, and his team, who have extensive experience with this drug.”</p>
<p>Sir Nicholas White was involved in the WHO’s “Informal consultation on the potential role of chloroquine in the clinical management of COVID 19 infection” on March 13th. Also present were 5 “Experts” affiliated with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The <a href="https://www.who.int/blueprint/priority-diseases/key-action/RD-Blueprint-expert-group-on-CQ-call-Mar-13-2020.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">WHO’s SOLIDARITY Trial used the same dose for hydroxychloroquine</a> as the RECOVERY & REMAP-CAP Trials.</p>
<p><a href="https://academic.oup.com/cid/article/71/15/732/5801998" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Chinese scientists had already recommended a much lower and safer dose</a> on March 9th 2020: </p>
<p>“a loading dose of 400 mg twice daily of hydroxychloroquine sulfate given orally, followed by a maintenance dose of 200 mg given twice daily for 4 days is recommended for SARS-CoV-2 infection”</p>

<p>The REMAP-CAP Trial was a global trial that had a very large number of participating sites in England:</p>

<p>There is a genetic disorder known as G6PD deficiency. G6PDd is prevalent in parts of the world where malaria is endemic such as Sub-Saharan Africa. Hydroxychloroquine is a more dangerous drug for people with G6PDd.</p>
<p>The German physician <a href="https://www.bmj.com/content/369/bmj.m1820/rr-0" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Wolfgang Wodarg wrote to the British Medical Journal</a> offering an explanation for the overrepresentation of ethnic minorities among patients and medical staff in COVID-19 death statistics:</p>
<p>“I think one of the possible reasons for more Covid-19 victims among patients and medical staff with ancestors from malaria countries could be the widespread use of chloroquine (cq) and hydroxychloroquine (hcq) for therapy and for prophylactic indications with patients with a G6PD-deficiency.”</p>

<p>The first official COVID-19 death was Peter Attwood in January 2020. He was admitted to hospital with a bad cough on January 7th. The virus – said to be more transmissible and more lethal than the flu – was therefore in the UK as far back as December if not earlier. </p>
<p>There were no excess deaths in the UK in January or February. Excess deaths only began in mid-late March coinciding with:</p>
<p>1. The implementation of Lockdown<br />
2. The discharging of patients (who hadn’t fully recovered) out of hospitals (where you’re most likely to pick up an infection) into care homes (where the most vulnerable people are)<br />
3. The trials in which extremely high and potentially lethal doses of hydroxychloroquine were being administered</p>
