Authorities “Won’t Hesitate” to go “Door-to-Door” to Perform COVID Tests on Australians

The Premier of Victoria has asserted that authorities “won’t hesitate” to go “door-to-door” to carry out mandatory COVID tests on Australians.
Daniel Andrews made the comments during a press conference as Australia continues to pursue a ludicrous ‘zero COVID’ policy that mandates draconian lockdowns in response to just a handful of new cases.
“We’re not at a point where we need to be going door to door,” said Andrews. “We’re not at a point where we need entire suburbs to come out and get tested. If we get to that stage, then we won’t hesitate. I think we’ve shown, in fact I know we’ve shown that we’re prepared to do what has to be done, popular or otherwise.”

Given that members of the military are enforcing lockdown and quarantines in some areas of the country, one wonders how those who don’t want to get tested will be treated.
Also, how far a step is it to go from mandatory door-to-door COVID tests to mandatory door-to-door COVID vaccinations?
Andrews also signaled that those who refuse to take the vaccine will be discriminated against and remain under de facto lockdown rules indefinitely.
“This is a difficult conversation to have with people now, in an almost threatening tone, when people who want to get vaccinated can’t because we don’t have enough stuff. There will come a time though when I think restrictions will apply to those who have not been vaccinated, rather than restrictions applying to all of us.”
“Now if that’s not an incentive to go and get vaccinated I don’t know what is. But I can see a time when to get into a venue, to attend a major event, to participate fully as a customer, a client, a ticket holder, a patron, a viewer, however you want to look at it, being vaccinated will mean that you get in, and being vaccinated will mean that you don’t.”

Australia has imposed one of the most brutal lockdowns in the developed world, with mandatory outdoor mask mandates that have led to innumerable arrests and <a href="https://summit.news/2021/08/03/australian-man-suffers-suspected-heart-attack-while-under-arrest-for-not-wearing-a-mask/">shocking scenes</a> like the one last week in Brisbane where an elderly man suffered a heart attack after being harassed by police for not wearing a face covering while exercising outside.
Aussies have also been <a href="https://summit.news/2021/08/04/australian-health-official-tells-grandparents-dont-go-anywhere-near-your-grandkids/">told</a> not to go anywhere near their grandkids and not to <a href="https://summit.news/2021/07/20/top-health-officer-orders-australians-dont-have-a-conversation-with-each-other/">engage in conversation</a> with each other, even if they’re wearing masks.
People who merely post anti-lockdown information online could also <a href="https://summit.news/2021/07/30/australians-who-post-anti-lockdown-content-online-could-face-11000-fines/">face fines</a> of up to $11,000 dollars under an absurdly authoritarian new law.
Meanwhile, as we highlight in the video below, Australians are being forcibly carted off to mental asylums against their will if they dissent against the official COVID narrative.
Australia is no longer a democratic country.

Lockdown Created 1 Million New Alcoholics in England

A new study has found that mean IQ scores of young children born during the pandemic have tumbled by as much as 22 points while verbal, motor and cognitive performance have all suffered as a result of lockdown.
“With limited stimulation at home and less interaction with the world outside, pandemic-era children appear to have scored shockingly low on tests designed to assess cognitive development,” reports <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/aug/12/children-born-during-pandemic-have-lower-iqs-us-study-finds">the Guardian.</a>
The study was conducted by researchers at Brown University and included 672 children born both before and after the pandemic began in March 2020.
“In the decade preceding the pandemic, the mean IQ score on standardised tests for children aged between three months and three years of age hovered around 100, but for children born during the pandemic that number tumbled to 78,” the study found.
Researchers concluded that the primary reason for the impairment on cognitive functioning was lack of stimulation and interaction at home.

According to lead study author Sean Deoni, “The ability to course-correct becomes smaller, the older that child gets,” meaning that this inferior foundation is likely to impact the child throughout adolescence and into adulthood.
As Michael Curzon <a href="https://dailysceptic.org/2021/08/13/children-born-during-lockdown-have-significantly-reduced-verbal-motor-and-overall-cognitive-performance/">notes</a>, all of these factors were exacerbated by lockdown measures which kept babies and young children away from other children, as well as mask mandates.
“Children born over the past year of lockdowns – at a time when the Government has prevented babies from seeing elderly relatives and other extended family members, from socialising at parks or with the children of their parent’s friends, and from studying the expressions on the faces behind the masks of locals in indoor public spaces – have significantly reduced verbal, motor and overall cognitive performance compared to children born before, according to a new U.S. study. Tests on early learning, verbal development and non-verbal development all produced results that were far behind those from the years preceding the lockdowns.”
The study was conducted in the state of Rhode Island and included predominantly white children.
The fate of poorer children from less affluent socio-economic backgrounds, most of whom will be non-white, is likely to be significantly worse.
However, don’t expect many leftists, who in general have vehemently supported draconian lockdowns, to care much about that.

Study Finds Children Born During Lockdown Have Lost IQ Points, Impaired Cognitive Functioning

The country of Belarus, which imposed no legal lockdown at all throughout the entire pandemic, has released COVID mortality figures which are broadly in line with other nearby countries which imposed draconian lockdowns.
After authorities in Belarus refused to put their citizens under lockdown, the global media had a collective hissy fit, with one headline declaring, “One leader looks hell-bent on turning COVID-19 into a catastrophe for his country.”
However, while managing to avoid all the negative impacts of lockdown, the outcome of Belarus’ no lockdown policy is far from a “catastrophe.”

Newly released overall death statistics from the start of the pandemic up to March 2021 show that the death rate is similar to neighboring countries such as Latvia, Russia and Ukraine which imposed full lockdowns.
Indeed, when compared to Poland, which imposed a particularly harsh lockdown, Belarus’ mortality rate in March 2021 was significantly lower.

Belarus is similar to Sweden, which has suffered fewer than 15,000 COVID deaths despite refusing to impose a lockdown. Figures show that cases and deaths tend to fall in waves whether a lockdown is imposed or not, proving that lockdowns are totally pointless.

Don’t expect any of this to be highlighted by the mainstream media, which has parroted the provable falsehood that repeated lockdowns were to thank for ending each “wave” of COVID.
They weren’t, because countries that didn’t lockdown experienced broadly the same pattern of waves as those that did.

Moscow:
Russia has told a BBC journalist working in Moscow to leave the country by the end of this month in retaliation for what it called London's discrimination against Russian journalists working in Britain, state TV reported late on Thursday.
In an unusual move that signals a further deterioration in already poor ties between London and Moscow, the Rossiya-24 TV channel said that Sarah Rainsford, one of the British broadcaster's two English-language Moscow correspondents, would be going home in what it called "a symbolic deportation."
The step, which amounts to a de facto expulsion, follows a crackdown before parliamentary elections in September on Russian-language media at home whom the authorities judge to be backed by malign foreign interests intent on stoking unrest.
Rossiya-24 said Russian authorities had decided against renewing Rainsford's accreditation to work as a foreign journalist in Moscow beyond the end of this month when her existing visa expires.
The move was in retaliation for London not renewing or issuing visas to Russian journalists working in Britain, it said.
The channel cited Britain's treatment of state-backed Russian broadcaster RT and of online state news outlet Sputnik, saying neither could get accredited in Britain to cover international events.
"Sarah Rainsford is going home. According to our experts, this correspondent of the Moscow's BBC bureau will not have her visa extended because Britain, in the media sphere, has crossed all our red lines," Rossiya-24 said.
"The expulsion of Sarah Rainsford is our symmetrical response," it said.
The BBC said it was not commenting on the story. Rainsford did not reply to a request for comment. A spokeswoman for the Russian foreign ministry said she would comment on the matter once Rainsford had done so.
The British embassy in Moscow declined immediate comment.
Rainsford, a Russian-speaker, is an experienced BBC foreign correspondent who has also done stints in Havana, Istanbul and Madrid.
