Imagine being kidnapped by the Mexican drug Cartel for months, not knowing whether or not they will kill you and melt your body in acid. Imagine being held in narco captivity, in a dungeon, right here in the United States. Thats what happened to the man who shoebat.com just recently interviewed:

“They kill them. They put them in acid. They melt them.” These are the words of a man who was held captive and kept locked up by a Mexican cartel, not just in Mexico, but in the United States where major narco networks are keeping humans in houses and threatening them with death and torture if their families do not pay ransom. It is a sinister apparatus that is much bigger than what most people think. Its not just in Mexico, but right here within the United States. We had the chance to meet this man who was held captive by the Cartel del Noreste — a powerful cartel that has its drug and extortion empire within the Mexican state of Sonora, where kidnappings and exploitation are ubiquitous. Human beings who try to cross the border from Sonora are open to be kidnapped by the Cartel del Noreste who then keep their victims in congested rooms, giving them hope of being released before demanding more money and keeping them in a hopeless loop. The man who shoebat.com interviewed tried to cross the border into the United States through Sonora, Mexico. He entered Texas where he was caught by US Immigration. As he sat in the cruising Immigration bus he overheard a US border patrol officer on the phone with Mexican Immigration.
“There is more,” said the border patrol agent. “I’ll give them to you on the bridge.” The man was then transferred to Mexican immigration authorities. While in custody, he asked an immigration officer to be allowed to make a phone call to his wife. “No problem,” said the Mexican officer. “You just need to come with me and fill out a form.” He was approaching the office; the Mexican officer entered, and just right before he got inside, he was ambushed by a gang of narcos. “Where did you come from?” they asked the terrified man as he stood there confused. “Which code do you have?” This man knew nothing of a “code.” But he was horrified, horrified of the future, stricken by that consternation that fills the soul in moments of unknown, having not the slightest idea if there is any hope. They took him into an alleyway, and to his shock there was a large group of migrants, their faces terrified and full of dread. Armed narcos began dividing them and rounding them up into trucks as if they were in a concentration camp.
They drove them to a home — really a prison where migrants are kept as slaves. Each person was forced to strip off their clothes so that the gunmen could be assured that they had no weapons on them. After this humiliation, they are told to make phone calls to whoever was suppose to be responsible for them in the United States, and to tell them that they had to pay ransom money for their release. What happens when they can’t get the money? As the survivor of this cartel terror explained to us: those who cannot pay are then told to be gunmen for the criminal group, and if they refuse to do this, they are killed, their bodies never to be found because they are melted in acid. There are many migrants trapped in these houses of horror, their relatives unable to pay the money to the leaches who abuse the innocent, only to call their bloodsucking ways a “business.” Lost victims are kept locked up in these hellishly congested rooms, without any help, without any ear to hear them. They are left to the bloodlust of murderers, their dignity taken from them, their lives meaning nothing to anyone but their families who have lost any trace of them. “There are a lot of people whose families don’t have the money” the survivor told shoebat.com. “They give them a chance of two months. So they keep them there, locked up. They cannot communicate with anybody.”
There are those who do manage to escape, and when they do they flee to the first police officer they spot, begging the man in uniform for assistance, in the desperation of one who has just escaped out of hell and whose only chance of survival is a hair to latch onto. “Yes, don’t worry” the officer would say, assuring them of their safety with the badge that the common man looks to as a symbol of safety. “Get in the car, we are going to help you right now.” They would enter the police vehicle, and instead of being driven to refuge, they returned right back to a narco house where their torment, their enslavement and the extortion of their lives resumes. This is the hell that innumerable people go through. There is a common misconception that narcos only kill other narcos. While this may have been true in the past, today the innocent are seen as prey to the suffering inflicted by cruel hands. There are no boundaries, no taboos, not a single transgression that these evildoers will not indulge in their spiral towards the abyss. Vulnerable people — migrants, those who are desperate for a better life — are seen as sport for cash. The man who we interviewed was eventually smuggled by the Cartel into Texas, not to free him, but to continue the exploitation. It was in Laredo, Texas, where he was kept in a dungeon of a home, which should be a reminder to people: the horrors that are occurring across the border are happening right here in the United States.

Washington:
The top Republican in Congress blasted President Joe Biden Thursday for his "reckless policy" on Afghanistan, as the United States moved to evacuate embassy workers ahead of the Taliban advance.
"Afghanistan is careening toward a massive, predictable, and preventable disaster," Senator Mitch McConnell said in a statement.
"The Biden administration has reduced US officials to pleading with Islamic extremists to spare our embassy as they prepare to overrun Kabul," he said.
McConnell's broadside, the strongest criticism yet by a senior official, came after the administration announced it was sending 3,000 troops to secure Kabul's international airport for a series of evacuation flights for US embassy staff and Afghans who worked for US forces.
The announcement heightened the perception that after 20 years of war the United States is abandoning the country as the Taliban insurgents claim control of city after city and increasingly threaten the Washington-backed government in Kabul.
McConnell said Biden should step up military support for the Afghan forces rather than complete the withdrawal he set for August 31.
"President Biden's strategy has turned an imperfect but stable situation into a major embarrassment and a global emergency in a matter of weeks," he said.
"If we let the Taliban dominate Afghanistan and Al-Qaeda return, it will resonate throughout the global jihadist movement."
McConnell said the decision to deploy US troops to manage the evacuation "seem(s) like preparations for the fall of Kabul," which he compared to "the humiliating fall of Saigon in 1975," when North Vietnamese troops seized control of the city two years after the US military withdrew.

Islamabad:
A bus blast last month that killed 13 people, including nine Chinese workers, was a suicide bombing by Islamist terrorists backed by the Indian and Afghan intelligence agencies, Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Thursday.
The minister said an investigation showed there was a "nexus of Indian RAW and Afghan NDS" in the attack, referring to the two countries' intelligence agencies.
The July 14 blast hit a bus carrying workers to a dam construction site in northern Pakistan. Two Pakistani soldiers were also among the dead.
An Indian government official said the charge was baseless and said Pakistan has made similar accusations repeatedly in the past.
The Afghan foreign ministry could not immediately be reached for comment.
Qureshi, addressing a news conference in Islamabad together with the head of the investigation team, said Pakistan had data evidence to back up their determination that the intelligence agencies from the two neighbours were involved.
Qureshi said that Pakistani Taliban terrorists - known as Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), an umbrella movement of terrorist groups linked to al-Qaeda and Islamic State - carried out the attack.
"As per our investigation the Afghan soil was used for this incident... about its planning and its execution, we're seeing a clear nexus between NDS and RAW," Qureshi said.
In a telegram message sent to a Reuters reporter, the TTP denied it carried out the attack.
HIGH EXPLOSIVE
Pakistan's Deputy Inspector General of Counter Terrorism Police, Javed Iqbal, who was in charge of the probe, said the attackers rammed an explosive-laden car into the bus.
"Around 100/120 kgs of high explosive were used in the car bombing," Iqbal said, adding that forensic examination of the suicide bomber's remains showed he was not a Pakistani national.
Video footage, cell phone data analysis, investigation of local handlers and facilitators, and forensic examination of the car used in the bombing all revealed that the TTP in Afghanistan had planned this attack, he said.
"Senior officers of the RAW and NDS were directing them in Afghanistan," Iqbal added.
Pakistan originally blamed a mechanical failure for the blast but later said traces of explosives were detected and that it could not rule out an attack.
Chinese Premier Li Keqiang urged his Pakistani counterpart last month to hold the culprits accountable in what he called a terrorist attack.
Chinese investigators have been involved in the probe, Qureshi said.
Beijing is investing over $65 billion in infrastructure projects in Pakistan as part of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) under its wider Belt and Road initiative.
"China is firmly opposed to all forces that use terrorism as a means to get geopolitical benefit," a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said in a statement.
A Chinese tabloid run by the ruling Communist Party's official People's Daily called the bus blast the most serious attack on Chinese nationals in recent years.

Britney Spears' father is to step down as conservator of her estate, US media reported Thursday, seemingly ending a bitter legal battle with his daughter.
Britney, 39, last month launched a bid to remove him from the controversial 13-year guardianship that she said amounted to "abuse."
Jamie Spears' lawyer said at the time he would fight the move, disputing his daughter's account. But TMZ and Variety cited legal documents Thursday in which Spears said he would step back from the role.
"There are, in fact, no actual grounds for suspending or removing Mr. Spears as the conservator of the estate... and it is highly debatable whether a change in conservator at this time would be in Ms Spears' best interests," the documents reportedly said.
"Nevertheless... he does not believe that a public battle with his daughter over his continuing service as her conservator would be in her best interests.
"So, even though he must contest this unjustified petition for his removal, Mr Spears intends to work with the court and his daughter's new attorney to prepare for an orderly transition to a new conservator."
- 'Vindication' -
Variety magazine reported a statement issued by Britney's lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, welcoming the move and calling it "vindication" for the singer.
"We are pleased that Mr Spears and his lawyer have today conceded in a filing that he must be removed. It is vindication for Britney," the statement said.
"We look forward to continuing our vigorous investigation into the conduct of Mr Spears, and others, over the past 13 years, while he reaped millions of dollars from his daughter's estate, and I look forward to taking Mr Spears's sworn deposition in the near future."
There was no immediate response from either lawyer to AFP's requests for comment.
Britney Spears, who rocketed to fame in her teens, suffered a highly public 2007 breakdown -- when the shaven-headed star attacked a paparazzo's car at a gas station.
That led to her being placed under the unusual legal guardianship largely governed by her father.
She swiftly returned to performing, released three albums, appeared on various television shows and even took up a Las Vegas residency.
But in January 2019, she abruptly announced she was suspending her performances until further notice, and became increasingly vocal about the conservatorship.
She claimed in emotional court testimonies and social media posts the arrangement amounted to "cruelty," and accused her father and others of profiting from the system.
Britney alleged in court that she had been prevented from having a contraceptive IUD removed, despite wanting more children, and was forcefully put on medication that made her feel "drunk."
She recently wrote on Instagram that she was "not gonna be performing on any stages anytime soon with my dad handling what I wear, say, do, or think."
Jamie Spears' removal has been a longstanding demand of devoted global fans campaigning under the #FreeBritney slogan.
Supporters on Thursday welcomed the development.

A mob attacked Indian businesses and vehicles in Democratic Republic of Congo's capital on Thursday, the police said, part of ongoing fallout from a Congolese student's death in Bangalore police custody last week.
Several Indian businesses in Kinshasa were looted last week following the death of Joel Malu, a Congolese student in Bangalore.
African diplomats have complained in the past about racism against their citizens living in India, especially in the aftermath of the beating death in 2016 of a Congolese man in Dehli.
Congo's police said the mob on Thursday looted Indian shops and warehouses, set a car on fire and stoned three other vehicles in Kinshasa's Limete neighbourhood in response to a false rumour that a second Congolese national had died in India.
"Uncivilized people, mainly young people, have been looting stores and warehouses held by Indian nationals," said Kinshasa police commissioner Sylvano Kasongo.
Police arrested three people and recovered 40 bales of stolen clothing, Kasongo said. The statement did not mention any injuries.
Malu was arrested in Bangalore on August 1 on suspicion of drug possession. The police said he complained of chest pains and was transferred to hospital, where he died.
His death sparked clashes between protesters and baton-wielding officers in Bangalore the following day.
