Courageous Woman Exposes Mexican Drug Cartels, Narcos Open Fire On Her House And Shoot Her To Death

<p>A courageous woman was exposing the Mexican cartels, and just recently they opened fire on her home, murdering her. Here is <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.brownsvilleherald.com/news/article_9790d230-372d-11e7-a3f1-2be841436afc.html">the story:</a></p><blockquote><p>She led a search for the “disappeared” in her home state of Tamaulipas, among the most violent in Mexico, after her daughter was kidnapped in 2012.</p><p>Her strenuous efforts in the face of official inaction helped nudge authorities in the beleaguered gulf state along the Texas border to discover the partial remains of her daughter and arrest those allegedly involved in her death.</p><p>She sought protection from Mexican authorities this year after a prison break that she feared may have resulted in the escape of suspects in her daughter’s killing.</p><p>Now, Miriam Elizabeth Rodriguez has joined the growing roster of activists, journalists, clergy and others slain in a wave of killings in Mexico.</p><p>On Thursday, authorities confirmed that armed assailants opened fire late Wednesday on Rodriguez’s home in the city of San Fernando, fatally wounding the activist. She died on the way to the hospital.</p><p>She was killed on Mexico’s Mother’s Day, a major holiday in Mexico.</p><p>May 10 has also become a symbolically charged day when the mothers and other relatives of Mexico’s legions of missing publicly demand that authorities act on the cases of their vanished loved ones.</p><p>Protests to clarify the cases of Mexico’s estimated 30,000 or so disappeared — many abducted during the country’s more than decade-long war on drugs — took place throughout Mexico on Wednesday, the same day that Rodriguez was slain.</p><p>Rodriguez was part of a growing national movement of mothers and others who have sought out clandestine graves where their missing kin are believed to be buried. Some have taken picks and shovels to unearth remains from the secret graves.</p><p>Many contend that corrupt Mexican police and politicians acting in league with organized crime were implicated in the disappearances of their kin.</p><p>The killing of Rodriguez drew expressions of outrage from domestic and international activists, including from Amnesty International and the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.</p><p>“The violent murder of Miriam Rodriguez should be investigated in (an) independent, impartial and exhaustive manner,” said Erika Guevera Rosas, Amnesty International’s Americas’ chief. “Steps should be taken to defend those who seek their (missing) loved ones.”</p><p>Federal and state authorities vowed to find her killers.</p><p>“I express my energetic condemnation for the cowardly murder of the activist Miriam Rodriguez,” Tamaulipas Gov. Francisco Javier Cabeza de Vaca said in a Twitter message. “The government of Tamaulipas will not permit that the death of Miriam Rordiguez will become one more statistic.”</p><p>Following her death, her activists colleagues charged that Rodriguez had requested police protection following the escape in March of inmates possibly linked to her daughter’s murder from a prison in Ciudad Victoria in Tamaulipas state.</p><p>“She herself expressed on various occasions in meetings with authorities that she was concerned that the kidnappers of her daughter had escaped … and that this put her life at risk,” a fellow Tamaulipas activist, Guillermo Gutierrez, said in a radio interview. “We hope that with this lamentable event the state government put aside their authoritarianism and arrogance and punish the officials who should have given protection to our partner Miriam.”</p><p>But Luis Alberto Rodriguez Juarez, a state government spokesman in Tamaulipas, said officials had provided additional protection to Rodriguez in her home, with patrols passing by her home three times a day.</p><p>But the effort clearly did not deter her killers. Tamaulipas, which borders Texas’ Rio Grande Valley, is home turf for a number of criminal groups, including the ultra-violent Zetas cartel. The Zetas were implicated in the so-called “San Fernando massacre,” the mass murder in 2010 of 72 migrants — mostly U.S.-bound Central Americans — in the municipality of San Fernando, where Rodriguez was killed.</p><p>Heavily armed criminal organizations control drug trafficking, migrant smuggling and other illicit enterprises throughout Mexico.</p></blockquote>

The other 3 men remain at the Detention Center," Pallone tweeted Thursday afternoon.</p><p>Seth Kaper-Dale, pastor of the Reformed Church of Highland Park and Green Party gubernatorial candidate, said Massie's stay of removal was denied leading to immediate deportation attempts.</p><p>"His attorney got a call at 10 a.m. that his stay of removal was denied. He called me from an airplane at 11:30 a.m., already on a plane at JFK. Apparently he was taken in the wee hours of Thursday from his room but wasn't allowed to call anyone until he was on the plane," Kaper-Dale said in a statement.</p></blockquote><div id="ad-position-57" class="partner-placement partner-spike partner-placement-visible" data-monetization-id="native-article_link" data-monetization-sizes="fluid,3,3"><blockquote><p>"He has a layover in Japan. I want the President of the U.S. to show that he is concerned about U.S. citizen kids, and that he is concerned about persecuted people," he said.</p><p>Pallone's tweet about the deportation was posted 10 days after Massie, Saul Timisela, Rovani Wangko and Oldy Manolo, ethnic Chinese Christians, were detained May 8 by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.</p><p>Pallone had also tweeted that he sent staff to a rally at the Detention Center in Elizabeth fighting Arino’s deportation. He thanked those who spoke out against the action.</p><p>"These refugees have suffered enough, they shouldn’t be collateral damage of #Trump administration’s extreme & discriminatory policies on imm," Pallone also tweeted.</p><p>Kaper-Dale called for the Keep Families Together rally at 625 Evans Ave., outside the Elizabeth Detention Center, on Thursday to call out ICE Field Office Director John Tsoukaris for being cruel and the Trump administration for being "the hate crime administration."</p><p>"Massie along with the three other men in discussion, are in particular risk if deported because they lived  in sanctuary for one year, the last time ICE decided to prioritize their removal. They are most likely on a targeted list in Indonesia for highlighting the human rights violations and minority religious/ethnic abuses that led to their initial escape," Kaper-Dale said.</p><p>He said the four men have been acknowledged by ICE to be "exemplary community members" who would be in "horrific" danger if deported to Indonesia where religious persecution is brutal and far-reaching.</p><p>Kaper-Dale asked for support in getting Congress to reintroduce the Indonesia Refugee Family Protection Act. Last week, a representative from Pallone's office said discussions are underway about reintroducing the Indonesian Family Refugee Protection Act, which previously did not pass.</p><p>"Deporting these individuals is not only detrimental to them, but also to the families they will leave behind and the communities they have helped build," he said in the letter.</p><p>He added that Indonesia has a record of persecuting religious minorities for practicing their beliefs. He noted that Mayor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama of Jakarta, the first Christian governor in decades, was arrested May 9 and accused of blasphemy.</p><p>"Many worry that the blasphemy law used against Purnama and growing religious intolerance will continue to endanger religious minorities in Indonesia," Pallone said.</p></blockquote>

"In this way, awareness will be created among the younger generation and parents as well as institutions," he added.</p><p>Noreen Jabar Leghari (20 yrs) was a second year student of MBBS in Liaquat University of Medical Science (LUMS), Jamshoro, but went missing from her family home two months ago (February 10th). She later confessed to having joined up with terrorist group IS in Syria.</p><p>Noreen was arrested on Easter Day (16th April 2017) during a security forces operation near Punjab Housing Society, Lahore.</p><p>During the skirmish with security forces one man was killed and Noreen and two other suspects were arrested. Two suicide vests and other explosives and weapons were confiscated during the operation which also resulted in injuries to four soldiers. It is believed that the man killed during the raid was the husband of Noreen.</p><p>...</p><p>"Noreen Leghari is a woman intelligent enough to be considered for a role as a doctor yet is being described as pliable and immature.</p><p>"Miss Leghari's animosity for Christians would no doubt have led to many deaths including her own, yet a 'soul searching nation' have a strong will and desire to show her mercy.</p><p>"How many of these same Pakistani citizens would be so forgiving had Miss Legahri planned to bomb a Muslim School?</p><p>"If it were Muslims that were targeted by Legahri I am certain many of the campaigners would find her crime too offensive for granting a pardon - Christian lives are ostensibly less valuable in Pakistan.</p><p>"This pardon provides one clear message. If you are considered elite in Pakistan you are above the law and are guaranteed impunity.</p><p>It is hard to believe the deep-rooted hatred that Miss Leghari had towards Christians that led to her becoming a suicide recruit, has simply vanished. Years down the line I pray we do not discover a series of 'Shipman' type deaths of Christians at any hospital she is employed by.</p><p>"I asked several Pakistani Christians whether they would trust a doctor who had previously attempted to bomb a Church on Easter Day, to administer care for them. WE INVESTIGATE THE "INVESTIGATORS." NBC Investigative Journalist States "Black Lives Matter is NOT a Hate Group," The Same Journalist Then Tries To Expose The Shoebat Organization as a Hate Group.

They wanted my comments and reaction to the far left whacko group called the <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://www.splcenter.org">Southern Law Poverty Center</a> who lumps all Christian organizations who speak against Abortion, Homosexuality and Islamic terrorists with Nazi White and Black Supremacist hate groups. What they did not know is that I turned on my cell phone recording device and recorded the audio of the interview so you can here the audio of most of it and show you how the journalist was schooled on issues, even though he was reluctant to take the medicine. It is amazing how biased and clueless most journalists are on the issues we face as a country, never mind making unfair attacks on people who are the actual exposers of hatred. </p><p>The interview is shocking in not so much as the "investigating journalist" was trying his best to get me to admit we are haters but the incredible lack of knowledge of Islam and the issues concerning why terror happens. I quote examples of the hate in the Sharia, the interviewer Mitch Blacher tries to say Islam teaches peace but cannot provide one example. </p><p>I challenged the journalist regarding Black Lives Matter which the Southern Law Poverty center omits from their hate list, the journalist without a flinch says that <strong>Black Lives Matter is NOT a hate group </strong> even after I expose the hateful rhetoric against police that Black Lives Matter spews, as well as the increased murders of police officers around the country. He denied flately they were a hate group, this is incredulous! I pointed out hateful rhetoric on "main stream" Middle East Television, and pointed out <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://memri.org">MEMRI</a> as a very reliable source where he could go and see the English translations of pure anti Semitism. He evaded the issue and redirected the interview on us, when he got caught with the truth that might be exposed and who really are the exposers of hate i.e Shoebat.com. After threatening to kill him if he continues spreading the Gospel, they burned down his house and his church:</p><blockquote><p>Hard-line Hindus in southern India, upset that members of their caste-based group have become Christians, burned down a church building and the pastor’s home this month, sources said.</p><p>After pastor John Muller and his pregnant wife left for a store on May 3, the assailants in Tamil Nadu state’s Attipattu village, Cuddalore District, set fire to their church building and adjoining home, Pastor Muller told Morning Star News.</p><p>Three days prior, five hard-line Hindus in their mid-20s had threatened him, he said.</p><p>“They said, ‘Don’t stay here – get out of this area, or we will see your end,’” Pastor Muller said. “Recently, some villagers belonging to Vanniyar, a caste-based Hindu sect, came to Christ. The same caste group opposes conversions in the village because they treat Christianity as a religion of lower castes. They don’t want anyone from Vanniyar to convert to Christianity.”</p><p>About 40 families attend his worship services, including the Vanniyar, he said.</p><p>“The church and my house got destroyed in fire,” Pastor Muller said. “We lost everything. My wife is 26 weeks pregnant. We are expecting our first child. We are homeless. A kind believer is letting us rest in his house during nights for now.”</p><p>Shibu Thomas, founder of Persecution Relief, which assists persecuted Christians, confirmed that hard-line Hindus set the structures ablaze.</p><p>The young men who allegedly set the fire were identified only as Madhivannan, Manimaaran, Radha Krishnan, Sarangamani and Naveen, a local official told Pastor Muller. All five of the alleged assailants were said to be influenced by Hindu extremist groups.</p><p>The pastor said the official told him that he, the village council head, had prior knowledge that the young men were planning to set the fire and tried to deter them, but that he did not notify police due to caste and family loyalties. For the same reason the village head did not tell media and remained unavailable for comment.</p><p>On the day of the attack the pastor received a call from a shopkeeper in nearby Chidambaram saying that Vacation Bible School materials he had ordered were ready. When he and his wife went to collect them, he said, the young men set fire to his church building and home.</p><p>On his way back to Attipattu, he received a call from a neighbor that the church building and his house had been on fire for more than two hours. Upon arrival he called the fire station in Chidambaram, 17 kilometers (10 miles) away, and firefighters put out the fire.</p><p>A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed in Kumaratchi Police Station dated May 3, but there has been no progress in the investigation, Pastor Muller said</p><p>“The police took money from the attackers and went on leave,” he said.</p><p>Morning Star News attempted to contact the police officer who took the complaint, but she was unavailable for comment on the case and the accusation.</p><p>Eight years ago, when the worship center was under construction, 50 people attacked the pastor and told him to stop building in the village, pastor Arun Kumar of a nearby village told Morning Star News.</p><p>“They also cut off electricity wiring and created many problems,” Pastor Kumar said.</p><p>Pastor Muller said he did not file a complaint at the time.</p><p>“I always thought I shouldn’t complain against them to the officials,” he said. “Instead, I wanted to let things go peacefully and do the Lord’s work, but now they’ve destroyed everything.”(<a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://morningstarnews.org/2017/05/church-building-pastors-home-burned-tamil-nadu-state-india-sources-say/">source</a>)</p></blockquote>

In the newest part of the investigation, it has been revealed that he killed Prasetyo because he was mad at him following an argument:</p><blockquote><p>Brisbane police thought they had come across a “halloween prank” when they found an Australian man ‘cooking’ his dead wife’s feet in a pot after he allegedly killed her.</p><p>An inquest into the death of Mayang Prasetyo, a pre-operation transgender sex worker, was told that police encountered a particularly gruesome scene when they visited the couple’s apartment.</p><p>Police were alerted to disturbances at the apartment by an electrician who was called on to fix the electricity supply, which was blown during a cooking mishap as Marcus Volke, 27, attempted to dispose of Prasetyo’s body back in 2014.</p><p>“Yeah, I’ve got a bit of a problem. Umm, I was cooking on my stove. It’s an electric stove and the stock boiled over, dripped down and umm, got in the oven,” Volke explained in a call which was released following the murder.</p><p>“And it basically made this big bang and then all my power turned off. Does it sound like something you’d be able to fix today?”</p><p>The tradesman got the power back online but alerted the building manager over bottles of bleach, rubbish bags and a foul stench in the apartment. The manager then contacted police.</p><p>When officers arrived, Volke fled the scene armed with a knife, and his body was later found in a rubbish skip after apparently killing himself.</p><p>I thought it was a sick prank, some kind of Halloween [thing],” Constable Liam McWhinney said of finding human feet in the pot. “When I put two and two together, I realised it wasn't a prank.”</p><p>Prasetyo, originally from Indonesia, and Volke had both been working in Australia as escorts.</p><p>The Courier Mail report that the couple married while they were living in Denmark in 2013 before moving to Bali and eventually Brisbane. Volke’s family, who live close to Melbourne, were reportedly not aware of his wife or his profession.</p><p>The inquest heard that Volke went to a doctor for anxiety, depression and a sleep disorder two weeks before the murder. The coroner is expected to make a final ruling on the case later this month.
