<p style="text-align: center">Last week I wrote an <a href="http://www.chron.com/houston/article/Federal-officials-arrest-man-in-connection-with-6727623.php">article about a fire at a Houston Mosque</a> in which I suspected that the fire was started by other Muslims. In addition, I also said that since the mosque was so quick to say there was no need for a formal investigation and that it was an accident, the fire was probably caused by an accident with flammable or explosive material that the police might be interested in knowning about (i.e. bombs, ammunition, etc.). I then humorously suggested that since we may never know what truly happened, perhaps the cause of the fire was Santa leaving a lump of burning coal in their stockings.</p>
<p>Well, thus far, the first part of my suspicions have been proven correct. While the official cause of the fire is arson, I suspect there is more that is not being said about my second point- especially since the BATF was called in as part of the investigation and that the accused has been going daily to the mosque for the past seven years. Via the <a href="http://www.chron.com/houston/article/Federal-officials-arrest-man-in-connection-with-6727623.php">Houston Chronicle</a>:</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><em>A Houston man has been arrested in connection with a suspected arson at a mosque on Christmas Day, <strong>but the motive for the crime remains a mystery, with the suspect maintaining he was a regular at the mosque.</strong></em></p>
<p style="text-align: center"><em>A spokeswoman for the federal <strong>Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives confirmed that the suspect, 37-year-old Gary Nathaniel Moore of Houston</strong>, was arrested early Wednesday. Moore appeared in court at 7 a.m., spokeswoman Nicole Strong said, and bond was set at $100,000.</em></p>

A search warrant of his home was conducted, and investigators recovered a backpack and clothing similar to that which was seen in surveillance footage, as well as half of a two-pack of charcoal lighter-fluid bottles that seemed to match another lighter fluid bottle found inside the mosque.</em></div>

<p>Muslims in Nigeria, all members of Boko Haram, slaughtered eighty people. This massacre just happened after the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari sad that his army had “technically won the war.” According to <a href="http://www.christianpost.com/news/boko-haram-slaughters-80-people-president-says-hes-won-the-war-against-terror-153643/" target="_blank">one report:</a></p>

<p>Nigerian terror group Boko Haram has slaughtered at least 80 people in a series of attacks on cities and towns just one week after President Muhammadu Buhari suggested his army had “technically won the war.”</p>
<p>The Associated Press reported that the Islamic radicals killed 30 people in Maiduguri in Borno state in blasts and shootouts, and on Monday killed another 20 people in a bombing outside a mosque. Yet another twin suicide bombing in the town of Madagali cost another 30 lives.</p>
<p>With a further 16 people killed, including children, in an attack on the Kimba village on Christmas Day, the terror group’s death count has reached close to 100 people in less than a week.</p>
<p>BBC News noted that last week Buhari, who had previously vowed to drive out the terror group from the country by December, suggested that they had “technically” already been defeated.</p>
<p>“Boko Haram has reverted to using improvised explosive devices. Indoctrinating young guys … they have now been reduced to that,” the Nigerian president said.</p>
<p>“But articulated conventional attacks on centers of communication and populations … they are no longer capable of doing that effectively,” he added.</p>
<p>“So I think technically we have won the war because people are going back into their neighborhoods. Boko Haram as an organised fighting force, I assure you, that we have dealt with them.”</p>

<p>The government of Iran reportedly arrested a group of nine Christians on Christmas Day for celebrating their faith at an in-house church in the city of Shiraz.</p>
<p>“There has been a steady deterioration of human rights abuses in Iran during Hassan Rouhani’s tenure as president, including executions and suppression of religious and ethnic minorities,” said Shahin Gobadi of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the <a href="http://www.ncr-iran.org/en/news/human-rights/19715-iran-s-regime-arrests-christians-on-christmas-day" target="_blank">National Council of Resistance of Iran</a>.</p>
<p>“This is just another case in point. Actually, the clerical regime is one of the top violators of rights of religious minorities, including Christians, in the world. The regime has institutionalized repression of the Iranian people as the main tool of its survival.”</p>
<p>NCRI reported that plain-clothed agents of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security raided the church on Friday, Christmas Day, and confiscated personal items, including satellite dishes, along with arresting the nine Christians.</p>
<p>Just a couple of days earlier on Wednesday, the MOIS agents arrested Meysam Hojjati, another Iranian Christian, in the central city of Isfahan, beating and handcuffing him while confiscating his personal items, even his decorated Christmas tree.</p>

<p>Criminals in Mexico — who are really just heathen pagans without any concept of Christianity — killed 13 people <a href="http://www.plazadearmas.com.mx/noticias/mexico/2015/12/28/mueren_personas_distintos_hechos_violentos_guerrero_378537_1014.html" target="_blank">in less than a day in the state of Guerrero</a>, which only reflects the escalating severity of violence in the country. The massacre happened just this Sunday.<br />
According to local authorities, one of the victims was mutilated, people were shot and three more were stabbed to death. A corpse was found in the colony of Chinameca, half buried, he was mutilated and decapitated. Another body was found full of bullets. Another corpse was discovered, it was that of a young man and it had several wounds inflicted by a knife<br />
Meanwhile, on the road of Cayaco Port Marques a man was killed with at least four shots from a firearm. Four people were also killed in the community of Saban Grande near Iguala, and two more died in a shootout in front of the bus station of Chilapa.<br />
On Sunday night, a former official and teacher, Antonio Orozco Crescencio, was also killed. After the killing, members of the criminal group threatened villagers and then fled the scene.  A woman was killed and three people were injured after an attack by gunmen at a fireworks center in  San Martin Pachivia.</p>

<p>This is just one day in Mexico.</p>
