Indigenous Activist Fights Against Corporate Pollution And Is Assassinated After Winning In Court

<p><a href="http://cdn10.trueactivist.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/lima.jpg_35960795.jpg"><img alt="lima.jpg_35960795" class="alignleft wp-image-40967 size-medium" height="300" src="http://cdn10.trueactivist.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/lima.jpg_35960795-400x300.jpg" width="400" /></a></p> <p>Rigoberto Lima Choc, an indigenous activist who fought against the environmental pollution that was taking place in his area, was shot and killed outside of a courthouse in Sayaxche, Guatemala this week. The murder came just one day after a corporation that was accused of polluting a local river with pesticides was forced by a court to cease its operations for 6 months so the full extent of their impact on the local environment could be assessed.</p> <p>Rigoberto Lima Choc was one of the most outspoke critics of the corporation, that was extracting palm oil from the region and manufacturing the product with harsh pesticides. The company took no care for their waste and ended up poisoning local waterways with the toxic chemicals.</p> <p>Rigoberto Lima Choc was shot by two masked men on a motorcycle as he was leaving the courthouse.</p> <p><em>“We deplore the murder of the activist Rigoberto Lima Choc,</em>” <a href="http://globalnews.ca/news/2229676/guatemala-activist-killed-day-after-court-ruling-on-pollution-dispute/" target="_blank">a spokesman for the National Union of Hope party (UNE) told AFP.</a></p> <p>Back in June, 28-year-old Lima Choc was the organizer of a massive protest against the factory, which sparked public outcry and local support, and eventually helped lead to this week’s temporary closure of the site.</p> <p>For centuries, <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/indigenous-populations-of-alaska-and-hawaii-demand-their-land-back/" target="_blank">Indigenous people</a> in various corners of the world have been thrown off of their property so their land and resources could be taken for aristocrats in far away lands. It was a war that began hundreds of years ago, and that war is still being waged today.</p> <p>Sadly, this is just the latest in a long line of attacks against <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/?s=Indigenous" target="_blank">indigenous leaders</a> in struggles to protect their land. “Punks for Positivity” Group Rebuilds Neglected Community Garden

The group calls themselves <a href="https://www.facebook.com/Punksforpositivity" target="_blank">“Punks for Positivity”</a> and they also clean up trash in various areas of the city, in addition to their recent community garden project.</p> <p><em>“It’s not run well now, but it was formerly one of our most productive community gardens,</em>” David Cross, chairman of the RDA board <a href="http://www.yorkdispatch.com/breaking/ci_28854586/punks-taking-over-york-city-community-garden" target="_blank">told the York Dispatch.</a></p> <p>Founders Steve Klinedinst and Dustin Hildebrand said that they will soon be opening up a produce stand at the garden, and will sell produce for as cheap as possible, and use the money to make the garden even better. Since starting on the project, they have had almost 25 different volunteers from the community who have wanted to get involved.</p> <p>“<em>As soon as people saw us (cleaning up an area), they started coming out,”</em> Klinedinst said.</p> <p><em>“That area gets a bad rap. We want people to see something good coming from there. As you can see, it’s really impacted me in a negative way.”</em></p> <p>Zimmer has even been delivered a speech at the recent Cannabis World Congress & Business Expo in Los Angeles and has gone public with his support for marijuana legalization.</p> <p>During his speech, Zimmer told the audience that <em>“Everybody in the country knows what the truth here is, except the 535 people we elect to make these decisions in Washington, D.C., It’s astounding.”</em></p> <p>He pointed out the insanity of marijuana’s schedule 1 status, which rules that it is just as dangerous as heroin, saying that “<em>It’s treated like it was heroin, everybody’s who is in high school hears that and goes, ‘What are they talking about?'” The emperor’s not wearing any clothes. How To Build A €1000 Eco-Home In Just 100 Hours!

<p>Creating an eco-home from open-sourced blueprints has never been easier or more affordable</p> <span>[embedded content]</span> <hr /> <p>South African furniture designer Ryan Frank has built up an impressive <a href="http://www.ryanfrank.net/products/" target="_blank">portfolio</a> in the past ten years, with sustainability the keyword for many of his creations. From farmhouse tables to computer accessories, lamps and shelves, Ryan’s designs have been <a href="http://www.ryanfrank.net/press/media-coverage/" target="_blank">featured</a> in articles around the world. He now has studios in London and Barcelona, but despite his success, Ryan prefers a simple life. In this video from faircompanies.com he shows us around his home- an impressive ‘temporary structure’ he made on a plot of land in <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/justice-at-last-spain-is-forcing-banks-to-pay-fines-for-empty-homes/" target="_blank">Spain</a>.</p> <p>Ryan was looking for a blueprint for an eco-home that would be classed as temporary: meaning no cement, stone or other masonry, and raised slightly off the ground. After considering <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/introducing-the-wannabe-off-gridders-awesome-inspiration-for-living-the-dream/" target="_blank">yurts</a> and <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/just-one-hour-from-vancouver-there-is-a-secret-island-where-everyone-lives-completely-off-grid/" target="_blank">domes</a>, he settled on a design that would cost him 1000 euros ($1125), and require just 100 hours of work. Often called a ‘boathouse’ or ‘gothic arch’ structure, it was originally developed by a <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/living-on-a-floating-piece-of-history-how-these-people-swapped-londons-crazy-house-prices-for-a-life-on-the-canals/" target="_blank">boat</a> builder. The home is a wooden structure, covered by sheep wool and topped with canvas. In winter, a wood-burning stove keeps the house cosy and warm, and in summer opening the window and door provide an air tunnel to keep the home cool.</p> <p>Ryan lives in the house full-time with his girlfriend, although they use a separate <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/take-a-tour-of-a-super-cool-airstream-tiny-home/" target="_blank">camper</a> as a kitchen, as well as a separate composting toilet and outdoor shower. That’s because I had the guts to carve out my own path and refuse to let people pressure me into losing more and more weight. But with London Fashion Week the reminders are everywhere that we need a law to protect young girls, and boys, who are put under pressure to be dangerously thin.</p> <p>“<a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/these-models-thought-they-were-shooting-sexy-but-instead-became-speechless/" target="_blank">Modelling</a> can be a very lonely place, especially for girls working internationally who are away from the usual support network of friends and family. When models travel overseas they are often put into shared accommodation with other models, and being surrounded by girls who are all striving to stay thin can perpetuate bad eating habits and encourage eating disorders. I’ve been on shoots for up to 10 hours where no food is provided — the underlying message is always that you shouldn’t eat. The agencies managing and recruiting <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/the-pressure-for-men-standards-of-beauty-around-the-world/" target="_blank">models</a> have a responsibility to the wellbeing of girls on the catwalk at fashion week, and in the industry as a whole.”</p> <p>Rosie also points out that earlier this year, <a href="http://www.theguardian.com/fashion/2015/apr/03/france-bans-skinny-models-crackdown-anorexia" target="_blank">France</a> became the latest country to vote to criminalize the use of models who are dangerously thin. Those breaking the law face fines of up to 75,000 euros ($84,525) and up to six months in jail. Secrets Of The Elite: Why Forbes’s Rich List Doesn’t Include The Wealthiest Families On The Planet

<p>As Oxfam warns that global wealth inequality is spiraling out of control, we ask why the Rothschilds and Rockefellers are missing from the business magazine's definitive annual guide...with some startling revelations</p> <span>[embedded content]</span> <hr /> <p>This is a House of Rothschilds <a href="https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=Q7MPAAAAIAAJ&pg=PA771&dq=%22let+us+control+the+money+of+a+country%22&hl=en" target="_blank">maxim</a>, widely attributed to banking tycoon Mayer Amschel <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mayer_Amschel_Rothschild" target="_blank">Rothschild</a> in 1838 and said to be a founding principle for the highly corrupt banking and political system we have today.  Along with the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rockefeller_family" target="_blank">Rockefellers</a>, the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rothschild_family" target="_blank">Rothschild</a> dynasty is estimated to be worth well over a trillion dollars. How are these powerful families linked to the ongoing crisis of global wealth inequality, why are so many people unaware of their existence, and why doesn’t Forbes ever mention them in their annual list of the world’s wealthiest people?</p> <h2><strong>Global wealth inequality is out of control, and it’s no accident</strong></h2> <p>In January 2014, Oxfam <a href="https://www.oxfam.org/sites/www.oxfam.org/files/bp-working-for-few-political-capture-economic-inequality-200114-summ-en.pdf" target="_blank">announced</a> that the richest 85 people on the planet share a combined wealth of $110 trillion. The figure was based on Forbes’s rich list 2013, and it equates to 65 times the total wealth of the entire bottom half (3.5 billion) of the world’s population. While some deluded commentators <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/what-this-one-percenter-says-about-the-worlds-poorest-3-5-billion-people-is-not-fantastic-news/" target="_blank">welcomed</a> this as “fantastic news,” the rest of us were disgusted. Winnie Byanyima, Oxfam’s executive director, said at the time: “It is staggering that in the 21st Century, half of the world’s population own no more than a tiny elite whose numbers could all fit comfortably on a double-decker bus.”</p> <p>Two months later, following Oxfam’s calculation and having published the new 2014 rich list, Forbes journalist Kasia Morena did some fact-checking. She <a href="http://www.forbes.com/sites/forbesinsights/2014/03/25/the-67-people-as-wealthy-as-the-worlds-poorest-3-5-billion/" target="_blank">found</a> that the number of billionaires owning the same as the poorest 3.5 billion had dropped from 85 to 67: which demonstrates an enormous widening of the global inequality gap in just one year.</p> <p>Fast-forward to 2015, and another Oxfam <a href="http://www.oxfamamerica.org/press/richest-1-will-own-more-than-all-the-rest-by-2016/" target="_blank">investigation</a>. The anti-poverty charity warned in January that if nothing is done to tackle global wealth inequality- by forcing corporations to pay their taxes and closing off-shore tax havens, for example- <strong>the richest 1% will own more than everybody else in the world combined by 2016. </strong>In a <a href="http://www.oxfamamerica.org/explore/research-publications/wealth-having-it-all-and-wanting-more/" target="_blank">paper</a> called <em>Wealth: Having it all and wanting more</em>, Oxfam outlined how the richest 1 percent have seen their share of global wealth increase from 44% in 2009 to 48% in 2014, and will likely surpass 50% in 2016<strong>.</strong> Winnie Byanyima again <a href="http://www.oxfamamerica.org/press/richest-1-will-own-more-than-all-the-rest-by-2016/" target="_blank">warned</a> that the explosion in inequality is holding back the fight against global poverty at a time when one in nine people do not have enough to eat, and more than a billion people still live on less than $1.25 a day.</p> <p>The organization also outlined how 20 percent of billionaires around the world have interests in the financial and insurance sectors, a group that saw their cash wealth increase by 11 percent in the last 12 months. They range from CEOs of large corporations to oil and gas tycoons and Silicon valley entrepreneurs. The list details name, net worth, percentage change since the 2015 results, their age, industry and nationality. <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/dear-bill-gates-please-care-as-much-about-our-planet-as-you-do-about-immunization/" target="_blank">Bill</a> <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/bill-gates-wants-worlds-poor-to-drink-human-faeces-and-everyone-thinks-thats-ok/" target="_blank">Gates</a> is ranked first at $469 billion, and James Simons at #66 with the $14 billion he made from hedge funds.</p> <p>But where are the world’s <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/royal-family-furious-about-leaked-video-of-queen-doing-nazi-salute-as-a-child/" target="_blank">Royal</a> families? As the Guardian newspaper <a href="http://www.theguardian.com/uk/2002/may/30/jubilee.monarchy2" target="_blank">reported</a> in May 2002: ‘The reason for the wild variations in valuations of her private wealth can be pinned on the secrecy over her portfolio of share investments…Her subjects have no way of knowing through a public register of interests where she, as their head of state, chooses to invest her money. Unlike [British politicians and Lords], the Queen does not have to annually declare her interests and as a result her subjects cannot question her or know about potential conflicts of interests…’</p> <p>The same can be said for the <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/the-house-of-rothschild-the-moneys-prophets/" target="_blank">Rothschilds</a> and <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/16-conspiracy-theories-that-turned-out-to-be-true/" target="_blank">Rockerfellers</a>, whose European forebears were richer than any Royal family at the time. Retired management consultant Gaylon Ross Sr, author of <em>Who’s Who of the Global Elite</em>, was apparently told in 1998 that the combined wealth of the Rockefeller family was approx $11 trillion and the Rothschilds $100 trillion…what might that figure have reached 17 years later? One can hardly begin to imagine, but maybe money isn’t the most important thing to your average trillionaire, anyway…</p> <p>“The only problem with wealth is, what do you do with it?” was a rhetorical question <a href="http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/authors/j/john_d_rockefeller.html" target="_blank">posed</a> by none other than John D. Rockefeller. Well, if Aaron Russo’s testimony is to be believed, all the Rockefeller riches in the world certainly won’t be used to benefit the human race…</p> <p><strong>Russo’s Rockefeller revelations: False flags, power grabs, and an enslaved population</strong></p> <p>Russo, a film-maker and activist who directed America: <a href="http://freedomtofascism.com/" target="_blank">From Freedom to Fascism</a>, claimed that Nick Rockefeller told him about ‘an event that would allow us to invade Afghanistan and Iraq’ some eleven months before 9/11, and foretold the fact that the ‘War on Terror’ would be a <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/statues-destroyed-in-isis-videos-are-confirmed-fake/" target="_blank">hoax</a> wherein soldiers would be looking in caves for non-existent enemies (see video). In the interview, Russo claims that he first met lawyer Nick Rockefeller after being introduced by a mutual attorney friend. The two men hit it off, and later down the line Rockefeller apparently confided in Russo privately what his family had planned for the world: never-ending <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/un-commissioner-says-war-on-terror-is-laying-waste-to-human-rights/" target="_blank">war</a>, global population <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/royal-society-believes-depopulation-will-save-the-environment/" target="_blank">reduction</a>, economic <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/economic-collapse-in-greece-is-finally-sinking-into-the-consciousness-of-its-citizens/" target="_blank">collapse</a>, widespread chaos and disorder on such a scale that people would actually welcome the ultimate ‘solution’: a one-world government. He was speaking in October 2000, and most of his predictions have now come to pass- including <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/fox-news-deleted-report-in-wake-of-911-israeli-spies-could-be-linked-to-attacks/" target="_blank">9/11</a> and the subsequent War on <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/bushs-911-lies-a-complilation/" target="_blank">Terror</a>.</p> <p>Russo claimed that Rockefeller asked him to be on the Council For Foreign Relations (CFR), but the man who spent his career fighting for freedom and exposing the Fed Reserve supposedly told Rockefeller that he couldn’t possibly go along with these sinister plans for mankind. “As much as I like you Nick, I don’t believe in enslaving people. We’re on opposite sides of the fence,” Russo told Nick. To which Rockefeller apparently replied: “Why do you care about those people? Take care of your own life; do the best you can for you and your family.” Russo concludes: “There was just a lack of caring; it was just cold.”</p> <p>He goes on, “I used to say what the point, Nick? You have all the money in the world, you have all the power in the world, whats the end goal?” Rockefeller is said to have responded bluntly: “To get everyone <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/man-arrested-for-microwaving-his-id-to-fry-the-microchip-and-protect-his-privacy/" target="_blank">chipped</a>.” According to this theory, the families who own the banking system are bored of their wealth, it is no longer enough. To control <em>society</em> <em>itself</em> is the ultimate end-game. According to Russo, Rockefeller told him that a global government would slowly phase out paper money from circulation, with its eventual aim being to <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/ibm-unveils-microchip-based-on-the-human-brain/" target="_blank">microchip</a> the population, turning us all into slaves of the NWO.</p> <p>These are wild claims indeed, and from a journalistic point of view, they cannot be verified one way or the other. But it’s worth noting that just before Russo died in August 2007, he filmed a moving message to all Americans. In it, he talked about how vital it is for people to continue to resist national ID cards and microchips, and fight for their individual freedoms against those who would enslave us. It’s also worth pointing out that it’s not only activists like Russo and scare-mongering patriots like Alex Jones who have tried to ‘out’ the Rothschilds and Rockefellers. The problem is, all those who do so are silenced.</p> <p>Ashley Mote, a member of the European Parliament serving British independence party UKIP, asked the following question in Brussels, and retribution was swift: “Mr President, I wish to draw your attention to the Global Security Fund, set up in the early 1990s under the auspices of Jacob Rothschild. This is a Brussels-based fund and it is no ordinary fund: it does not trade, it is not listed and it has a totally different purpose. It is being used for geopolitical engineering purposes, apparently under the guidance of the intelligence services. I have previously asked about the alleged involvement of the European Union’s own intelligence resources in the management of slush funds in offshore accounts, and I still await a reply. To that question I now add another: what are the European Union’s connections to the Global Security Fund and what relationship does it have with European Union institutions?”</p> <p>This is exactly the kind of question the European public would like an answer to. Yet Mote did not receive one. Instead, the 79 year old politician was sacked from his own party, and later <a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-33508850" target="_blank">arrested</a> and sent to jail for allegedly claiming false expenses during his time as an MEP. US Government Moves To Tax And Regulate Bitcoin By Classifying It As A Commodity

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) today issued an Order filing and simultaneously settling charges against Coinflip, Inc. d/b/a Derivabit (Coinflip) and its chief executive officer Francisco Riordan for conducting activity related to commodity options transactions without complying with the Commodity Exchange Act (CEA) and CFTC Regulations, specifically, by operating a facility for the trading or processing of commodity options without complying with the CEA or CFTC Regulations otherwise applicable to swaps or conducting the activity pursuant to the CFTC’s exemption for trade options. Coinflip is based in San Francisco, California, and Riordan resides in San Francisco.”</p> </blockquote> <p><em>“While there is a lot of excitement surrounding Bitcoin and other virtual currencies, innovation does not excuse those acting in this space from following the same rules applicable to all participants in the commodity derivatives markets,”</em> Aitan Goelman, the CFTC’s director of enforcement <a href="http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-09-17/bitcoin-is-officially-a-commodity-according-to-u-s-regulator" target="_blank">told Bloomberg Business.</a></p> <p>For years, governments all over the world have been attempting to tax and regulate Bitcoin, the free and anonymous currency that has been used by different people from all walks of life. Bitcoin was first popularized by the gaming community and then was later thrust into the global spotlight when it was utilized in a variety of underground markets. Given the anonymous, peer-to-peer nature of Bitcoin, it is technically physically impossible to regulate. However, over the past few years the federal government has been developing relationships with some of the big players in the Bitcoin industry, and unfortunately, many of them are selling out. The Manhattan project started out as a small testing operation in 1939, but in the few years it was in operation, it grew to employ over 130,000 people, all under strict secrecy.</p> <p>Although the program is over it has left a nasty mess behind at the various test sites, as well as sites that were used to harvest and process uranium. it was admitted by The US Army Corps of Engineers last month that residential areas of St. Louis County in Missouri have been contaminated with radiation from the Manhattan Project.</p> <p>When the Manhattan Project experiments were being carried out, the only uranium plant in the country was located in <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/?s=st+louis" target="_blank">St. Louis,</a> and the activities there ended up contaminating Coldwater Creek. Over the years, residents that lived along the creek discovered that they were more prone to cancer because of where they lived. After enough families began to complain, tests were done on the area and large doses of radiation were detected all along the creek.</p> <p><em>“We did personally notify those property owners of the contamination, and we’re initiating the remedial documents so that we can get out there and do the remediation in the near future, but we do want to complete what we’re doing here at St. Cin Park first,</em>” <a href="http://news.stlpublicradio.org/post/army-corps-yards-along-coldwater-creek-are-contaminated-radioactive-waste#stream/0">Mike Petersen of the Army Corps said.</a></p> <p>Despite these findings, local state, and federal government agencies continue to insist that the levels are not dangerous for humans.</p> <p><em>“There’s no increased risk to the public while we remediate. Refugee Who Was Tripped By Camerawoman Is Given A Job As A Soccer Coach In Madrid

<p><a href="http://cdn9.trueactivist.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/soccercoach.jpg"><img alt="soccercoach" class="alignleft wp-image-40685 size-medium" height="223" src="http://cdn11.trueactivist.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/soccercoach-400x223.jpg" width="400" /></a></p> <p>Last week we reported on the story of a refugee <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/nationalist-tv-crew-caught-attacking-child-refugees-tripping-man-carrying-a-child/">who was attacked by a camerawoman</a> that worked for a nationalist news outlet.</p> <p>Petra László of N1TV was filming a group of <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/?s=refugee" target="_blank">refugees</a> running away from police officers when she stuck out her leg to trip a man who carrying a child in his arms. Stephan Richter, a reporter for the German television channel RTL was on the scene and was able to film the incident.</p> <p>This week, we have learned the identity of that man and have been able to find out what he has been up to since the incident with the camerawoman.</p> <p>Osama Abdul Mohsen is the man who was tripped in the video, and it was <a href="http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/europes-border-crisis/refugee-kicked-camerawoman-gets-soccer-coaching-job-spain-n428966?cid=sm_fc" target="_blank">reported this week</a> that he was offered a job as a soccer coach in Spain. Administrators at Spain’s Cenafe national soccer coaching center heard about the story and found out that he was a soccer coach in Syria so they decided to hire him.</p> <p><em>“I love you, I love Madrid. Thank you for all. This is very, very important for my life. I am here with you. Thank you very much,”</em> Mohsen said.</p> <p><em>“We lost our house in Syria after suffering a number of artillery shells by [President] Assad’s forces</em>,” <a href="http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/europes-border-crisis/migrant-kicked-camerawoman-idd-syrian-soccer-coach-n425751" target="_blank">his oldest son, Almuhannad, told NBC News.</a></p> <p>Miguel Angel Galan, the soccer organization’s president said that he was inspired to help after reading about the story, and that he wanted to show “solidarity” because “we are colleagues.”</p> <p>Many of the anti-immigration commenters who have been against allowing the refugees to move from their war-torn homes, have claimed that Syrian migrants would be a drain on the economy and would eat up the benefits and welfare that Europeans receive. Has Charlie Hebdo Comic Mocking Drowned Syrian Child Gone Too Far?

<p><a href="http://cdn11.trueactivist.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/hebdo-comic.jpg"><img alt="hebdo comic" class="aligncenter wp-image-40406" height="490" src="http://cdn11.trueactivist.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/hebdo-comic.jpg" width="730" /></a></p> <hr /> <p>Charlie Hebdo, the shock French comic who creates art for the sole purpose of being offensive has released one of his most controversial images yet, and this time many people are saying that he has gone too far.</p> <p>Hebdo is known for his insensitive anti-Muslim work and has been celebrated by some as a fighter for free speech, specifically due to the fact that he intentionally crosses the line with every comic he releases. However, now even some of his strongest supporters are now disgusted with his newest release, which actually mocks Aylan Kurdi, the Syrian child who was photographed after he had drowned and washed up on a beach last week.</p> <p>The image was accompanied by the message: <em>“Welcome to the migrants… so close to the goal”, with a McDonalds billboard that said “Promotional offer: kids menu 2 for the price of 1.”</em></p> <p>Hebdo commissioned Laurent “Riss” Sourisseau as the artist for the comic, the controversial artist responsible for the pictures earlier this year that sparked terrorist attacks in France. Also released with the gruesome image of the young Syrian child on the beach, was one of Jesus walking on water next to the boy while he was drowning.</p> <p>This photo had the horrific message: <em>“Proof that Europe is Christian – Christians walk on water – Muslim kids drown.”</em></p> <p>This piece may finally be the straw that broke the camel’s back, and may lose the support of the misguided followers that Hebdo still has. Sure, he does have the right to free speech, and can say whatever he wants. However, that does not mean that people actually have to support him and his racist and xenophobic artwork. Scientists Say That They Have Created Yeast That Produces THC

The scientists were also able to derive more mainstream painkillers like hydrocodone from the yeast.</p> <p>The discovery is expected to be used in the development of pill based cannabis treatments that can be sold by <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/?s=pharma" target="_blank">pharmaceutical companies.</a> Many companies are now attempting to find ways to market marijuana pills, like the Marinol and Cesamet medications that are already being prescribed.</p> <p>Kevin Chen, the chief executive of Hyasynth Bio, one of the companies working to develop this technology, told <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2015/09/15/science/newly-risen-from-yeast-thc.html?_r=1" target="_blank">the New York Times</a> that he believes this could be a very important discovery.</p> <p><em>“This is something that could literally change the lives of millions of people,</em>” he said.</p> <p>With the drug war still raging on, many researchers are weary of cultivating cannabis, and this would allow them to have access to some of the compounds without breaking the law and growing the plant.</p> <p><em>“They are in fear that these plants will be grown and will support some illegal farming,”</em> Dr. Oliver Kayser of Stanford said.</p> <p>Many long-time marijuana users are apprehensive about attempts to put plants into pills, and many of them are not as excited as the <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/?s=scientist" target="_blank">scientists</a> and pharmaceutical companies are. Syrian President Says US And Europe Created Refugee Crisis By Supporting Terrorism

<p><a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/syrian-president-says-us-and-europe-created-refugee-crisis-by-supporting-terrorism/as/" rel="attachment wp-att-40528"><img alt="as" class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-40528" height="219" src="http://cdn9.trueactivist.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/as-400x219.jpg" width="400" /></a>In an interview this week, Syrian President Bashar Assad pointed out that the US and Europe are largely to blame for the <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/?s=refugee" target="_blank">refugee crisis</a> that has intensified in recent weeks.</p> <p>As Assad noted, the United States government and NATO have funded and trained the Syrian rebels who ended up becoming ISIS. The rebels have been attempting to take over the Syrian government, not to set the people of <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/?s=syria" target="_blank">Syria</a> free, but to install their own dictatorship.</p> <p>While Assad himself is a dictator just like every head of state throughout the world is, at least he was able to maintain a semblance of peace and stability before the country was overrun with western-backed terrorist rebels.</p> <p><em>“It’s not about that Europe didn’t accept them or embrace them as refugees, it’s about not dealing with the cause. If you are worried about them, stop supporting terrorists. That’s what we think regarding the crisis. This is the core of the whole issue of refugees,”</em> Assad said.</p> <p><em>“If you want to implement anything real, it’s impossible to do anything while you have people being killed, bloodletting hasn’t stopped, people feel insecure…I would like to take this opportunity to call on all forces to unite against terrorism, because it is the way to achieve the political objectives which we, as Syrians, want through dialogue and political action,”</em> he added.</p> <p>His statements are correct, it has been admitted by US government officials, including President Obama, that the US has backed rebels in Syria. Former New York Stock Exchange Head Says That The Stock Market Is Rigged

Considering that he spent nearly a decade at the head of the institution, he would obviously have legitimate experience to speak on.</p> <p>The interview was reported by the <a href="http://www.wsj.com/articles/fast-market-not-necessarily-a-fair-market-former-nyse-chief-says-1441992084">Wall Street Journal</a> this week and is set to appear on the television show “Wall Street Week” this Sunday.</p> <p>During the interview Grasso said, <em>“A fast market is not necessarily a fair market, as evidenced by that Monday open. Dark Japanese Animation On The Stress Of Being A Child In School

<p>‘Children’ takes a critical look at the education system’s obsession with perfection</p> <span>[embedded content]</span> <hr /> <p>‘Children’ is a short animation exploring the dark side of <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/amount-of-students-homeschooling-increased-62-in-the-past-decade/" target="_blank">schooling</a>. Created by Japanese illustrator Okada Takuya, it portrays a gray world, a gray neighbourhood, a gray school with gray classrooms.
