A flyer promoted by an Antifa-affiliated group on Twitter instructs protesters in Portland, Oregon, to “rage” for George Floyd “no matter what the verdict is.”
In the flyer posted by leftist activist group Revolution Rising on Twitter, people are told to “go hard” for Floyd.
“No matter what the verdict is we go hard for George Floyd!” the flyer reads, as reported by Breaking911.
“No Streamers. No Peace Police. Just Rage,” the flyer continues.
The poster warns rioters to have the National Lawyers Guild phone number on hand in case of arrest, and are also told to “stay with a buddy.”
“You have the right to protest,” the sign says, indicating those caught committing criminal acts could attempt to use the First Amendment’s freedom of assembly as a defense.
Breaking911 reports the account that posted the image, @RisingPDX, subsequently removed the post. It’s not currently visible on their account as of writing.
Riots have been ongoing in Portland, with violent protesters last week setting fire to the Portland police association building following the shooting deaths of Daunte Wright and Adam Toledo.
It remains to be seen what if any violence follows the guilty verdict of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin in the death of George Floyd.
