On the eve of the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Rome, Pope Francis received 27 European Union heads of state and government at a private audience in the Vatican’s Sala Regia on Friday evening.
This didn't bode well for Turkish President Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan. On Sunday he lashed at the E.U and the Pope saying: “the alliance of crusaders has shown itself in the end,”
The meeting was attended by Antonio Tajani, president of the European Parliament, Donald Tusk, president of the European Council, and Jean-Claude Juncker, president of the European Commission.
ErdoÄŸan during a referendum campaign rally in Ä°stanbul’s Sancaktepe district also said the following:
“EU member states met at the Vatican. These developments bring something to mind. Why did you meet at the Vatican? Why did you meet before the pope? When did the pope become a member of the EU? The alliance of crusaders has shown itself in the end. That is it. What did you tell us up to now? ‘You repeat this, but there is no such thing. Yes, you [EU] won’t accept Turkey into the EU because Turkey is Muslim. I have said this now. Look at what will happen tomorrow. Interesting! Both social democrats and Christian democrats participated in the meeting [at the Vatican]. Good grief! What is this? What is this? I have said this, see what they say tomorrow.”
ErdoÄŸan is trying to cement his prophecy that a war will ensue between Turkey whom he called "the Crescent" and Europe whom he called "the Cross".
And with his statements yesterday, Erdogan is beginning to sound like the typical prophecy buff and conspiracy theorists who lash at the E.U and the Pope as Antichrist and false-prophet. ErdoÄŸan after all, is appealing to his people who are mostly conspiracy theorists and is asking them to vote for his referendum which will permanently install ErdoÄŸan as the supreme ruler who will fight Rome.
And so to do that, ErdoÄŸan is now sounding like the typical 'Left Behind' type prophecy buffs one finds in a multitude of blogs calling to warn everyone on the 'evils of the Vatican'.
Is it no wonder why so many conspiracy theorists and prophecy buffs will join the Antichrist who himself will appeal to their conspiratorial mindsets?
The so-called prophecy buffs, the anti-Vaticanists, the anti-Popes, the anti-Crusaders and the anti-E.U ... these must love and agree with everything that Erdogan is saying here.
Perhaps momentarily they should convert to ErdoÄŸan's Islam?
Its okay. They can always repent later, right?
Common all you anti Vatican and anti-Pope, stand up and be counted.
Tell us how much you agree with Allah's new prophet ErdoÄŸan?
He is now tickling your ears bashing the Pope and the E.U. The least you could do is tickle him back. You both hate the crusaders, hate the E.U, hate the papacy and hate the Vatican, right?
So start praising ErdoÄŸan you uneducated two timing hypocrites who Christ's word fits you when He said "My people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge".
Is it okay for Erdogan to lash out, Catholic haters to lash out, and its only us who are not allowed to lash out?
