According to international news sources, Prince Philip of the British Royal Family is dead.

The House of Windsor has lost its patriarch.
Prince Philip, the Greece-born royal who as the husband of Queen Elizabeth II was the longest-serving consort to a British sovereign, died Friday. He was 99.
“His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle,” the royal family announced. “Further announcements will be made in due course. The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss.”
After the announcement, flags were lowered to half-staff, and the BBC News channel played “God Save the Queen.”
The Duke of Edinburgh’s death came 12 days before Queen Elizabeth’s 95th birthday on April 21, two months before what would have been Philip’s 100th birthday on June 10 and on the 16th anniversary of the marriage of Prince Charles and Camilla. Under a long-standing plan known as “Operation Forth Bridge,” his death ushers in a period of national mourning.

It is sad that he died. However, all men die, and the concern is that it is not just about his death, but the impending death of the Queen.
The Queen is really old. She is practically at the end of her life. Some have wondered if she is already dead and a body double is in her place. Whatever the case, it does not matter, because as long as she is recognized as being alive, she represents, in her living person, the connection to the British Empire of the past with the future. She is more than just a person, but a symbol of history, stability, continuity, and elite respect. In fact, one could say that she is a ‘glue’ that keeps the British Commonwealth together.
Prince Philip is not as powerful as the Queen. However, his age and position represent something that is similar to the Queen. He was also a part of that royal past, and that is now passing into history.
Right now the future of the Monarchy is in grave jeopardy. Given the many changes that have taken place during the 20th century, there is a chance that the monarchy, which survived barely the First and Second World Wars, may end, and possibly end up the same as what happened to the French royal family. Hopefully this is not the case, and that they might go quietly if they are to be deposed, but no matter what happens, if the Royal family is removed from power by whatever means, it will signal the end of an era for the UK, and it will also likely mean a tremendous amount of conflict between the former nations of the Commonwealth as well as within Albion herself.
What does it mean to be English anymore? Scottish? Welsh? A Londoner? These are serious questions of identity that people are asking themselves. Many of these people are not necessarily inclined or desiring to hate people whose family came from India, Pakistan, the nations of Africa, or other places around the world. But unlike America, a nation of immigrants who has always received immigrants from all around the world and thus can more easily define herself in terms of such fluidity- something that can be said, albeit in a modified way with the nations of Central and South America -the UK and nations of Europe have a different sense of tribalism and identity that represents more the other nations of the Old World. These boundaries are harder, less friendly, more closed, and more inclined to discrimination against those perceived as outsiders.
What will happen if the Monarchy is removed, and thus the connection it holds to history, identity, and sense of place in the world? For all of the evils that one may point at the monarchy and speak of with good reason, the monarchy, willingly or not, is a source of accountability as well as it is a buffer between the different groups, for while “England may be for the English”, as some say, she also can provide a space for all the diverse peoples under the influence of the British Empire. But if that glue is removed, there is no more boundary to prevent the more radical elements on any side from attempting to seize power, and lacking any cushion, it can pit “tribe against tribe” in a cycle nearly guaranteed to cause violence. It could be gangs made of not just Arabs, Pakistanis, Indians, and Turks, but Englishmen, Welshmen, and Scotsmen, for each other and against each other, fighting for power and influence. When one adds to this legitimate frustrations with the pervasive influence of criminal gangs, many of Pakistani, Indian, or Arab origins, alongside the ultranationalist and eugenic tendencies found among many Englishmen for centuries plus the feeling that many have that ‘their country is being taken over by foreign invaders’, it provides a justification for heinous violence.
None of this is good. This is not a struggle between Islam and Christianity, or for moral right, but moreso between groups of thugs who want to abuse each other and in the worst ways.
It is not to say that these things will pass. It is rather to warn that the monarchy itself is in jeopardy as the old members die off, and that conditions in the UK will be a major trend to watch as there could be a silent revolution that happens by breaking with the past and in doing so, creating the conditions for social chaos in the not distant future.

The situation between Russia and the US has for over a century not been on good terms, but right now the two nations are closer than they have been since 1960 to conflict.
While I do not suspect that a major war will happen from such a potential conflict yet, although it is certainly a real and serious possibility, the situation continues to deteriorate. According to CNN, there is talk that the US may send warships into the Black Sea.

The United States is considering sending warships into the Black Sea in the next few weeks in a show of support for Ukraine amid Russia’s increased military presence on Ukraine’s eastern border, a US defense official told CNN Thursday.
The US Navy routinely operates in the Black Sea, but a deployment of warships now would send a specific message to Moscow that the US is closely watching, the official said.
The US is required to give 14 days notice of its intention to enter the Black Sea under a 1936 treaty giving Turkey control of the straits to enter the sea. It is unclear if a notice has yet been sent.
The Defense official also said the Navy is continuing to fly reconnaissance aircraft in international airspace over the Black Sea to monitor Russian naval activity and any troops movements in Crimea.
On Wednesday, two US B-1 bombers conducted missions over the Aegean Sea.
Although the US does not see the amassing of Russian forces as posturing for an offensive action, the official told CNN that “if something changes we will be ready to respond.” Their current assessment is that the Russians are conducting training and exercises and intelligence has not indicated military orders for further action, the official said, but noted that they are well-aware that could change at any time. It will be very interesting if the US does this, because if she does, it would be a huge and direct hit to Russia’s projected global image of power.
If one wants to get to the Black Sea, there are many major chokepoints. If approaching from the Atlantic, one must navigate the whole length of the Mediterranean Sea. If approaching from the Indian Ocean, it is the Red Sea and the Suez Canal. When both reach Turkey, however, one must navigate the Dardanelles, then Sea of Marmara, and finally the Bosporus, before reaching the Black Sea.
The Dardanelles was the notorious scene of the failed Dardanelles Campaign, and the Bosporus is the world’s narrowest international shipping lane.
Unless one is looking to attack Istanbul, one does not send warships into either the Dardanelles, Bosporus, or Sea of Marmara without Turkey’s permission. For all of the fighting between Turkey and the US, the two have a long relationship going back to 1887, with the US consistently helping Turkey, and for all of the Turkish issues with the US, she is not about right now to turn against the US that rebuilt her into having the potential to revive her empire.
This right here highlights the exact problem I have been pointing out about Russian Naval power- the Black Sea, while strategic and the site of one of three year-round use sea ports for Russia, is confined to that region because of Turkey’s location. Turkey knows this, and can and will use it to her advantage, and since while she will work with Russia she also hates her historically speaking, when the possibility of war comes, it is not much for Turkey to simply shut down the Bosporus and lock Russia out of access to the Mediterranean. That is, unless Russia wants a war with Turkey.
This is also the reason why Russia is going to the Arctic Circle and is working on an all-sea passage from Murmansk to Chukotka, with the idea of sealing her control over the Arctic, setting herself up to claim other lands such as Svalbard, and even possibly parts of Greenland, as well as creating a passage to the Far East through the Bering Strait.
It will be interesting to see what happens in Ukraine, but this conflict seems to me to be more about testing Russia’s active military capabilities against her words. Russia can parade weapons, talk big, and bluff as she wills, for she is the undisputed champion of it, but the US is attempting to call her bluff, at least in part. To an extent, it seems to be working, as reports are that Russia has been forced to pull troops and resources from Siberia to re-station them on the Ukrainian border.
Siberia is a large place, but if Russia is pulling troops from so far away for such a regional conflict, what does that possibly say about the state of her military, and perhaps her logistics or resources? If the US can send ships to the Black Sea, what does that say about Russo-Turkish relations?
There are a lot of questions here, and things do not look good for the Russians, either in the short or long term.

Track and field coach Bradley Keyes <a href="https://boston.cbslocal.com/2021/04/06/covid-mask-policy-nhiaa-pembroke-academy-track-bradley-keyes/">told reporters</a> in New Hampshire that he has been fired after he refused to force students to wear masks outside while they were engaged in sporting activities.
Coach Keyes was working at Pembroke Academy when it introduced an outdoor mask policy, which he calls “senseless, irrational, cowardice bullsh*t.”
“I will not stand up in front of the kids and lie to them and tell them that these masks are doing anything worthwhile out in an open field with wind blowing and the sun shining,” Keyes explained in a letter to the school’s athletics director.
Keyes added that “These insane policies are robbing kids of once in a lifetime opportunities for no valid reason other than irrational fears and going along with the sheep.”
The coach put his own job on the line by adding ‘fire me if you must’, and he says that the school obliged him by doing just that.

Keyes said that he wanted “to make a point” about people just accepting draconian restrictions, adding “I just think people haven’t pushed back and I decided it was time to push back.”
In a further bog post, the coach wrote “One of the fundamental parts of all of this is learning to play by the rules. The rules [sic] supposedly put in place in order to create a fair and level playing field, to let everyone know what is expected and allowed, and then to let the best man, woman, or team win. Except now we are adding arbitrary, senseless, ill-thought rules.”

Report: Brits At Pubs Will Have To Register On Government Tracking App, Hand Over Phones

According to a report in the <a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2021/04/08/exclusive-pub-staff-will-check-drinkers-phones-prove-have-registered/">London Telegraph</a>, anyone wishing to drink in a pub garden in Britain from Monday (only the outside areas will open) will be forced to hand over their phone to venue staff who must check the individual is registered on the government’s tracking app.
Venues will face fines of £1000 if they are found to be admitting people who have not registered on the NHS Test and Trace app with all their personal details and then scanned a QR code on entry to the outdoor portion of the venue.
The official government guidance notes “should someone choose to check in with the official NHS QR code poster, a venue should check their phone screen to ensure they have successfully checked in”.
The word ‘choose’ is odd because the guidance makes clear that it is mandatory for everyone to individually register on the app, or fill in a paper form.
There is no ‘choice’ in the matter.
Pubs have also been told to refuse entry to anyone they believe has given false details.

As we have previously highlighted, the much maligned ‘test and trace’ app is completely voluntary and authorities have no grounds to enforce its adoption legally. This is yet another example of how bureaucratic control freaks are simply inventing laws and justifying intimidation by means of coronavirus hysteria.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson ‘rewarded’ Brits recently by announcing that coming vaccine passports would not be required to enter pubs, however this policy directly undermines that and is essentially a small step away from being the exact same thing.
As we have previously noted, the vaccine passports are set to be integrated with the test and trace app <a href="https://summit.news/2020/11/18/uk-developing-qr-code-system-to-only-allow-vaccinated-people-into-events/">via a QR code system</a>. That has been the plan <a href="https://summit.news/2021/04/05/uk-government-has-planned-for-vaccine-passports-all-along/">all along.</a> Further dystopian systems, including <a href="https://summit.news/2021/03/29/uk-now-considering-digital-face-scanning-to-enter-pubs/">biometric face scanning</a>, are also being touted.

Responding to the latest developments, Madeleine Stone of privacy advocacy group Big Brother Watch, told The Telegraph: “Requiring every single person who enters a cafe or pub to show their phone screen and hand over their personal details poses a serious risk to privacy and data rights and is based on exclusion, criminal sanctions and police enforcement.”
“Businesses won’t be able to comply with this draconian new diktat as well as data protection law, which is why we’ve sent legal letters to the Department of Health and Information Commissioner’s Office as to whether these intrusive requirements are safe and lawful,” Stone added.

Venue owners have also expressed dismay at the guidance, expressing concern that it is unenforceable and will leave already stretched staff vulnerable to abuse from angry punters who don’t want to be tracked by the government just to have a pint of beer.

HOT MIC: Ben Shapiro Tells Staff To ‘Cut’ Pansexuality Comments From Video, Warns ‘I’ll Get Boycotted’

<h4>Daily Wire founder and editor emeritus Ben Shapiro was seen on a hot mic ordering staff to “cut” comments he made on pansexuality during Thursday’s livestream “before it’s like, immediately reposted on the site.” Shapiro expressed concern that “I’ll get boycotted” if the comments were included in the on-demand version of the video.</h4>
“So, we are indeed done here today, I have an appointment I gotta get to, thank you guys,” Shapiro says to the audience. “It’s great to see you, and I will see you here next time.”
The camera then continues rolling as Shapiro converses with an employee: “One thing on that episode, the part where I said pansexual – is it ‘pansexualism is weird?’ Can we just cut that?”
“I can ask,” comes the response, to which Shapiro replies, “That’d be great.”
Shapiro goes on to ask that the comments be removed before the video is “like, immediately reposted on the site,” and explains “it’s like a ten-second bit, it was about halfway through, it’s just on pansexual – I’m like ‘that’s kinda weird, like, you don’t, you like everything?’”
The “Ben Shapiro Show” host is then asked “You wanna get rid of that?” He responds, “Yeah, it’s just like, it’s nothing, but don’t make it something.”
“I thought that was a funny bit,” the person talking to Shapiro says.
“It is a funny bit, but that’s why,” Shapiro insists. “I’ll get boycotted.”
