They use many excuses, from "blasphemy" to simply Christian men falling in love with Muslim women.</p><p>In a story out of Pakistan, a young Christian man and Muslim woman became friends and were getting close to each other. Her family hated him because he was a Christian and told him to stay away. One day when the young man was out doing errands for his mother, the woman's relatives saw him. They kidnapped him, severely beat him, and then burned him with hot metal rods for his "crime":</p><blockquote><p>A Christian man was reportedly assaulted and burnt with hot iron rods, allegedly by the family of a Muslim woman in Sheikhupura district, for having "friendship" with her, it has been learnt.</p><p>The victim had received severe burn wounds and after failing to get proper medical care in Sheikhupura, he was shifted to Mayo Hospital, Lahore, on Sunday for further medical treatment.</p><p>The incident happened earlier this month and a police case has also been lodged against the father and brothers of the woman, who were reportedly against the friendship between the two and allegedly tortured 21-year-old Ansar Masih.</p><p>According to the First Information Report (FIR) undersigned by Masih's sister in Sheikhupura's Saddar police station, Masih first established contact with the woman two years ago and their friendship grew with time.</p><p>They often spoke on phone and Masih would also visit the woman neighbourhood to meet her, the FIR stated.</p><p>When the woman's family learned of the friendship, her father, Manzoor, and her brothers called Masih's father asking him to tell his son to stay away from the woman, warning them of dire consequences if their instructions were not followed, the FIR added.</p><p>On April 1, Ansar's mother sent him to run an errand in the woman's neighbourhood where Ansar was allegedly kidnapped by the accused and his two sons, the report stated, adding the three unclothed him, beat him and burned him using hot iron rods.</p><p>The FIR further states that the accused then brought Ansar to his house and told his family that he had been in a traffic accident.</p><p>Ansar's family then rushed him to Sheikhupura's District Headquarters Hospital where, after gaining consciousness, he narrated the incident.</p><p>Subsequently, on April 5, his sister lodged the FIR following which the police took the accused into custody.</p><p>Speaking to DawnNews, the victim's father claimed that the family was under pressure by the accused as well as the area police to reconcile and take back the case.</p><p>When contacted, the officials at DHQ confirmed that Ansar had been shifted to Lahore's Mayo Hospital as the facility in Sheikhupura lacked equipment and necessary supplies to treat patients with serious burn injuries.<br />Ansar's condition is reportedly stable now. However, his medical treatment is underway. However, this has also provoked the wrath of certain Muslims, who are determined to stop its spread.</p><p>The celebration of Christ's resurrection for Christians in Nigeria's southern Kaduna province was interrupted when Muslim terrorists drove up and began randomly shooting, killing and wounding some of the celebrants:</p><blockquote><p>Just as Nigerians were beginning to heave a sigh of relief over the Southern Kaduna crisis, gunmen have reportedly attacked Asso community in Jema’a local government area of the state.</p><p>At the time of this report, the details of the attack were not clear, but a statement by Samuel Aruwan, the spokesperson to Nasir El-Rufai, said the governor condemned the act.</p><p>NAIJ.com reports that over 200 people have died in the attacks between Fulani herdsmen and natives of Southern Kaduna since the crisis started.</p><p>Premium Times reports the governor as saying: “The victims and their families, while affirming that security operations are being ramped to rid the forest areas of the bandits."</p><p>The attack is coming at a time Governor El-Rufai launched an operation to end the attacks in the area.</p><p>The governor said in the statement: “The forthcoming Operation Harbin Kunama II is a necessary step towards ending the violence in parts of southern Kaduna.</p><p>“The governor spoke while condemning the weekend attack on Asso community in Gwong Chiefdom of Jema’a local government area of the state."</p><p>The governor extended his condolence to the victims and their families, while affirming that security operations are being ramped to rid the forest areas of the bandits.</p><p>He charged security agencies to redouble their efforts in fishing out those behind the killings, and to act promptly on carefully vetted intelligence.</p><p>The statement said that agencies responsible for emergency services have been directed to offer relief.(<a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://www.naij.com/1099753-gunmen-attack-southern-kaduna-again.html">source</a>)</p></blockquote>

He’s an old dude,” Stephens said as he approached Robert Godwin Sr., who was reportedly out looking for aluminum cans to collect.</p><p>“Can you do me a favor?” Stephens said to Godwin before asking him to say the name Joy Lane.</p><p>“Joy Lane?” Godwin responded.</p><p>“Yeah,” Stephens replied. “She’s the reason why this is about to happen to you.”</p><p>The video showed him ask Godwin how old he was, then raise a gun and pull the trigger. The camera spun around; when the picture came into focus, Godwin’s body was on the ground.</p><p>It all lasted less than a minute.</p><p>In a second video, Stephens is seen on his cellphone, telling someone to go online to watch the footage.</p><p>“I can’t talk to you right now. I f—– up, man,” he said.</p><p>“I shamed myself,” <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.cleveland.com/metro/index.ssf/2017/04/accused_facebook_live_killer_c.html#incart_maj-story-1">he added in a video posted by Cleveland.com</a>. “I snapped.
