A Russian Su-27 jet fighter came within 20 feet of a U.S. RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft over the Black Sea on Monday in Moscow’s latest military provocation involving dangerous aerial encounters.
“On Jan. 25 an RC-135 aircraft flying a routine route in international airspace over the Black Sea was intercepted by a Russian Su-27 in an unsafe and unprofessional manner,” Navy Capt. Daniel Hernandez, chief spokesman for the U.S. European Command, told theWashington Free Beacon. “We are looking into the issue.”
Defense officials said the Su-27 flew alongside the RC-135, an electronic intelligence-gathering aircraft, and then performed what they said was an aggressive banking turn away from the intelligence jet.
The thrust from the Su-27 “disturbed the controllability” of the RC-135, said one official familiar with details of the incident.
A second official said the reconnaissance aircraft was flying 30 miles from the coast—well within international airspace and far away from any Russian territory—at the time of the encounter.
The Pentagon announced Thursday that it has concluded a flight safety memorandum with Russia after holding a video conference with Russian Defense Ministry officials.
The areas of discussion included air safety over the skies in Syria as well as “the means to avoid accidents and unintended confrontation between coalition and Russian forces whenever the two sides operate in close proximity,” Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook said in a statement.
The statement made no mention of Monday’s dangerous aerial encounter.
The Black Sea encounter was the latest in a series of aggressive Russian military activities aimed coercing or harassing U.S. military aircraft and ships in both Europe and Asia.
The provocations are not limited to U.S. forces. On Tuesday, Japan’s Defense Ministry revealed that Japanese interceptor jets were scrambled to chase two Russian Tu-95 Bear bombers that approached the northern end of Japan and flew just outside that country’s airspace in maneuvers described by analysts as unusually close.
Other incidents included a similar near-collision between a Russian fighter and RC-135, a militarized Boeing 707, over the Black Sea on May 30. Around the same time, a Russian Su-24 jet buzzed the destroyer USS Ross in the Black Sea near occupied Crimea.
Earlier, on April 7, another Su-27 flew within 20 feet of an RC-135, this time over the Baltic Sea.

Navy footage showed the jet made several low-level passes over the Ross.
In October, two Russian Tu-142 bombers made low passes near the aircraft carrier USS Reagan as it sailed in the Sea of Japan near the Korean peninsula.
Navy F-18 jets were scrambled to intercept the bombers during that incident.
And last July 4, two Tu-95 nuclear-capable bombers flew within 40 miles of the California coast and communicated a “happy birthday” message to intercepting U.S. pilots. That incident took place the same day President Obama held a telephone conference with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
Russian Tu-95 bombers also circumnavigated Guam in December, for the second time in two months. Guam is the U.S. military’s major hub and a key facility in the American military rebalance to Asia.
“Much of what Russia is doing today is aimed at generating fear of Russian military power and the possibility of war,” said former Pentagon Russia expert Mark Schneider.
“That is broadcast on a daily basis in the state media and through Russian military actions,” Schneider added. “Provocations involving aircraft are now common place. Russia also tends to be paranoid concerning foreign espionage and the protection of state secrets.”
Adm. Cecil Haney, commander of the U.S. Strategic Command said Russian military activities, including aircraft flights, are an increasing concern as Moscow seeks to reemerge as a world power.
Haney voiced concerns about Russian nuclear-capable bomber flights around the world, and large-scale ground forces nuclear exercises, along with vocal statements threatening the use of nuclear weapons.
Russian military aircraft have been conducting flights in Europe without the use of air-traffic control tracking transponders, a practice Haney called “reckless.”
Russia has stepped up aggressive military activities in response to NATO’s deployment of forces closer to Russian borders following Moscow’s military annexation of Ukraine’s Crimea and continuing covert military destabilization of eastern Ukraine.
NATO has increased its force posture with additional military exercises, troop deployments and increased intelligence-gathering to support NATO allies that are threatened by Russian military revanchism.
Russia announced a new military strategy in December that increases the country’s reliance on nuclear forces over conventional troops and weapons.
Russia also is expected to announce a new military doctrine, a senior Russian commander announced on Tuesday.
Maj. Gen. Sergey Chvarkov, deputy chief of the general staff academy said the United States is seeking to weaken Russia and is creating new national security threats to Moscow.
“At the foundation of the negative development of the international situation lie the USA’s actions, which in striving for global hegemony intentionally forms global instability to weaken strategic opponents, primarily Russia, creating national security threats to our country,” Chvarkov said, according to the state-run RIA Novosti news agency.
Western policies are fomenting global and internal conflicts that have produced the flood of refugees in Europe, Chvarkov said. He added that the West is waging “information war” on Russia.

Andrew asks: “Walid, I know this may come across as a silly question, but is the water baptism of babies by sprinkling, considered valid? Or must that baby go thru a full water baptism when he grows up?”
Answer: Tell me Andrew, did the blood on the doorposts and lintels for the Hebrews protect the Hebrew babies as well as the adults from the angel of death, even though they knew not how to speak or believe? Was the mark of circumcision only for Abraham, or was it also for his children? Can one find in the New Testament where when entire households were baptized that they only baptized adults? (1)
So Andrew, to answer your question, I would ask you a Jesus-style question: if you were circumcised as an infant, and you believed that a baby should be re-baptized as an adult, then would you like it if your were re-circumcised?
God forbid, you’re lovely wife would be the first to object and believe in infant baptism.
SOURCES AND ARGUMENTS
(1) “…he was baptized, with all his family” (Acts 16:33). And in his greetings to the Corinthians, Paul recalled that, “I did baptize also the household of Stephanas” (1 Cor. 1:16). The argument that says: “Faith in Christ is necessary for salvation” is countered with another Jesus-style question: are all the aborted babies in hell?  They neither have faith or were baptized. God is sovereign and will judge based on each and every case. Therefore, even the anti-infant baptism make an exception for infants regarding the necessity of faith for salvation and by that their argument is null and void. Why then criticize infant baptism for making the exact same exception?
Irenaeus who was the student of Polycarp, who was a direct disciple of the Apostle John was taught:
“He [Jesus] came to save all through himself; all, I say, who through him are reborn in God: infants, and children, and youths, and old men. Therefore he passed through every age, becoming an infant for infants, sanctifying infants; a child for children, sanctifying those who are of that age . . . [so that] he might be the perfect teacher in all things, perfect not only in respect to the setting forth of truth, perfect also in respect to relative age” (Against Heresies 2:22:4 [A.D. 189]).
Paul notes that baptism has replaced circumcision (Col. 2:11–12), Luke 18:15 says, “Now they were bringing even infants to him”. “For the promise is to you and to your children and to all that are far off, every one whom the Lord our God calls to him” (Acts 2:39). But infants are not at an age of awareness and Christ sanctified them too. Never was infant baptism condemned until the heretical cults of Waldenses and Catharists came prohibiting infant baptism, later, the Anabaptists (“re-baptizers”) claiming that infants are incapable of being baptized validly. This creates another Jesus-style question: should a Christian follow the first church or the heretical Cathars? No one can enter heaven unless he has been born again of water and the Holy Spirit (John 3:5). “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them; for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven” (Matt. 19:14). Babies cannot come physically on their own and is why scriptures says:  “they were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them; and when the disciples saw it, they [as anti-infant baptism err today] rebuked them. But Jesus called them to him, saying, ‘Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them; for to such belongs the kingdom of God’” (Luke 18:15–16). Infants were circumcised under the Old Law as well as adult converts. Likewise in the early church with baptism. Preventing infant baptism is as we tie up our infants from coming to Him. We traditionally circumcise, yet we reject to baptize. This is utter hypocrisy.

Here’s What Oregon Ranchers Were Doing Immediately BEFORE They Were Shot

Just as many people had predicted and feared, the weeks-long armed standoff between protesters and federal authorities regarding the occupation of a wildlife refuge in rural Oregon descended into gunfire and violence on Tuesday.
It has been widely reported that the leader of the armed protest, Ammon Bundy, was arrested along with seven others by the FBI following a purported traffic stop.
Unfortunately, it has also been reported that shots were fired during the arrest, injuring at least one protester and killing another. 
According to Fox News, the man who was shot and killed was Robert “Lavoy” Finicum, a 55-year-old father of 11 who had acted as a spokesman for the group. Finicum had previously stated publicly that he would rather die than be taken into federal custody, and authorities are claiming that he refused to drop his weapon after being ordered to do so.
But both the Bundy and Finicum families disputed those claims, alleging that Finicum was essentially executed while unarmed and in submission to authorities, according to a separate report by Fox News.
Ammon Bundy reportedly passed along word to his family that Finicum was cooperating with the police before he was killed.
“I want the world to know how my father was murdered today,” read a Facebook post reportedly written by Finicum’s daughter, Thara Tenney. “His hands were in the air and he was shot in the face by the American authorities. Ammon Bundy reported there are six witnesses to this evil.”
The other man shot and injured by the police was believed to be Ammon Bundy’s older brother Ryan.
All of the individuals arrested were being charged under a statute that makes it a federal felony to impede officers of the United States from discharging their official duties through the use of force, intimidation or threats.
It remains to be seen if this incident will mark the end of the armed protest movement ostensibly on behalf of ranchers concerned over the federal control of land in the United States and its impact on their livelihoods.

Palestinian Terrorist Nashat Milhem celebrated the 2016 New Year by <a href="http://www.timesofisrael.com/tel-aviv-shooting-suspect-identified-a-nashat-milhem/">killing two people outside of a natural foods store</a>. He had previously served a five years sentence for the attempted murder of an Israeli soldier. One week later on January 8th, 2016, Mr. Milhem was <a href="http://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/1.696321">killed in a shootout with Israeli police</a>.
Since then not only has more information about the attacks emerged, but also video from Mr. Milhem’s cell phone taken a few days before the attack. The video shows him drinking beer, cursing, talking about using drugs, and cursing Christians as well as Shiite Muslims. One can only wonder if this was what <a href="http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/1358665/Seedy-secrets-of-hijackers-who-broke-Muslim-laws.html">Mohammed Atta and his collaborators were doing before 9/1</a>1.

World Famous German Psyscholgist and Psychoanalyst Dr. Hans-Joachim Maaz stated that based on his years of work in clinical psychology, he believes that Chancellor Merkel is a narcissist teetering on the edge of a complete mental breakdown on account of her irrational decisions that are now threatening the very fabric of German society. According to Dr. Maaz, the German Chancellor suffers from “narcissism” brought on by people lauding her position as ‘mother of the nation’ and most powerful woman in the world, and calling for her to have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. He says the “artificially inflated self-image” she labours under leads to the “stubborn attitude” on display by her during the ongoing migrant crisis.
Dr. Maaz claimed that Mrs. Merkel has not, in fact, taken any difficult decisions or displayed genuine leadership. In his opinion she reacts to situations rather than leads, something which testifies to her uncertainty and an underlying lack of self-worth.
The result of this, he says, is that she tends to make “emotional” decisions which meet immediate popular approval instead of making difficult but rational moves.

Dr. Maaz confirmed that overachievers such as Mrs. Merkel, often suffer from “self-esteem deficit, inferiority and insecurity”.
That is not a problem when sufferers enjoy success and recognition, but it does lead to hubris and immunity to criticism which means that when things go wrong people can become prone to “loneliness” and “mental breakdown”. He sees no reason why Mrs. Merkel would react any differently, adding “a psychological or psychosomatic collapse is imminent.”
With ever more defiant reactions to criticism seeing the Chancellor “digging her heels in” rather than change course, Dr. Maaz diagnoses a very real risk to Germany, saying that by insisting on sticking with policies which no longer enjoy the support of a majority, she contributes to the breakdown of German society.
