The Antichrist of Turkey Erdoğan Is Mimicking Hitler Invading And Ceasing Control Of The Media

Erdoğan of Turkey is mimicking what Adolf Hitler did when Hitler took <a href="http://www.ushmm.org/wlc/en/article.php?ModuleId=10005204">power</a> in 1933 attempting to eliminate the multi-party political system and bringing about the demise of newspapers and outlawing the media turning them over directly to the AKP Party as did Hitler with the Nazi Party. And just as the Nazis established control or exerted influence over independent press organs, Erdoğan is literally invading the press by force.

The freedom of press is over in Turkey since Erdoğan became president in August last year and now an Ankara court on Monday appointed an Islamist board of trustees to manage the Koza-Ipek Group, effectively seizing its 21 companies, including its media operations. Police officials arrived at <a class="news-detail-tag-link" title="Koza İpek Holding, Koza İpek Holding news, koza i̇pek holding news, koza i̇pek holding latest newsies" href="http://www.todayszaman.com/index/koza-i%CC%87pek-holding">Koza İpek Holding</a>‘s headquarters on Tuesday to formally notify the executive board of the holding that it had been replaced with a board of <a class="news-detail-tag-link" title="trustee, trustee news, trustee news, trustee latest newsies" href="http://www.todayszaman.com/index/trustee">trustee</a>s appointed on Monday. International journalists have been arrested and deported, while about 20 are currently detained on a variety of trumped-up charges.

So who did Erdoğan appoint to run the stolen Koza Ipek Holding? Lawyer Hasan Ölçer, an Islamist, was appointed to oversee the management of three companies of the <a class="news-detail-tag-link" title="Koza İpek Holding, Koza İpek Holding news, koza i̇pek holding news, koza i̇pek holding latest newsies" href="http://www.todayszaman.com/index/koza-i%CC%87pek-holding">Koza İpek Holding</a>. Ölçer represented Salih Mirzabeyoğlu, the leader of the militant Islamic Great East Raiders Front (<a class="news-detail-tag-link" title="İBDA-C, İBDA-C news, i̇bda-c news, i̇bda-c latest newsies" href="http://www.todayszaman.com/index/i%CC%87bda-c">İBDA-C</a>) group, as well as the Venezuelan criminal known as <a class="news-detail-tag-link" title="Carlos the Jackal, Carlos the Jackal news, carlos the jackal news, carlos the jackal latest newsies" href="http://www.todayszaman.com/index/carlos-the-jackal">Carlos the Jackal</a>, who is currently serving a life sentence in France for the 1975 murder of an informant for the French government and two French counter-intelligence agents.
Mirzabeyoğlu was sentenced to life in jail on charges of “attempting to forcefully change the constitutional order” but was released in 2014 after serving 16 years following a retrial.
In a 2011 speech in İstanbul in defense of Carlos the Jackal, Ölçer described him as a “symbol of the honorable struggle against imperialism and Zionism.”

To understand how Erdoğan is turning to the Hitler of Turkey one must pay close attention to his usage of a peculiar word: mankurts. When Turkish academics wrote a letter to warning German Chancellor Angela Merkel to the increasingly authoritarian tendencies of Erdoğan saying that her visit could be read as showing support to this government and Erdoğan, Erdoğan became Hitlerian calling them “mankurts”  which means: enemies made slaves.
Erdoğan’s use of Mankurt is reminiscent of Hitler’s call for Nazi allegiance to the fatherland. Mankurt is a philosophical tale about what can happen to people if they forget their motherland, language, and history.
<a href="http://daltarak.blogspot.com/2007/07/mankurt-bashibozuk-ottoman-torments-and.html">Mankurt</a> stems from a <a title="Kazakh" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kazakh">Kazakh</a> legend is about a cruel way of making a man forget everything but basic activities and thus becomes an ideal <a title="Slavery" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slavery">slave</a>. A fresh raw <a title="Camel" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camel">camel</a> hide would be put as a cap on the thoroughly shaven head of a captive. The slave with his hands tied and with a large wooden stock around his neck preventing him from reaching his head would be left in desert for several days. Once the hide would start drying it would shrink and bind to the head, thus making a hoop and “squeezing” all sanity out of the man.
What is worse, the hair is not always able to grow through the camel’s hide so it often curls back and the strong Asian hair would penetrates the scalp again causing a pain beyond endurance. Removing completely the camel’s hide from the scalp is not always possible and those mankurts are so ashamed of having such a headgear that they are always wearing a cap, day and night and would not doff it for anything in the world.

If the man happens to survive the <a title="Torture" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torture">torture</a>, he would be recuperated and become like a dog to his master, not remembering anything from his past, even his own name nor his own mother.
Today the word mankurt is often used in the Muslim republics of the former <a title="Soviet Union" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soviet_Union">Soviet Union</a> of Turkic kinship (<a title="Azerbaijan" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azerbaijan">Azerbaijan</a>, <a title="Uzbekistan" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uzbekistan">Uzbekistan</a>,<a title="Tatarstan" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tatarstan">Tatarstan</a>, <a title="Kazakhstan" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kazakhstan">Kazakhstan</a>, etc.), condemning Muslims who speak only <a title="Russian language" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_language">Russian</a>. It is also being heavily used in <a title="Turkey" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turkey">Turkey</a> in reference to the wholesale adoption of Western approaches to world politics and the zeal for entry into the <a title="EU" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EU">EU</a> manifested by sections of the educated elite.
Erdoğan is now using this word for his opponents but this is a perfect metaphor for how he has enslaved the media in Turkey. In his war with his enemies, so many newspapers have been seized and turned into quite the opposite of what they were — they have become the slaves of their capturer. Look at the Sabah newspaper, for example, to follow <a href="http://www.todayszaman.com/columnist/orhan-kemal-cengi-z/turning-media-into-mankurts-slaves_402650.html">this tragicomic story</a>. Once, it was the most liberal newspaper in Turkey. It was first seized by the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF), a public institution, and then it was sold to Erdoğan’s supporters. It is now the official mouthpiece of the ruling party.
Yesterday, the government made its boldest move in the creation of new mankurts in Turkey.

Erdoğan has not lost his marbles as many are claiming. He, like Hitler is driven by an insatiable appetite for power. Ever since he moved into a lavish 1,100-room palace in Ankara last year, Erdoğan has been moved by an out-of-control urge for grandeur. This is the man who leads the second largest army in NATO and borders Iran, Iraq and Syria.
Even though Erdoğan nominally had to give up the post as the AKP chief when he became head of state last year, he has <a href="http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/05/14/turks-are-wondering-if-their-president-is-insane.html">remained</a> the de facto leader of the party and the government. The Turkish constitution says the president has to be impartial and to keep out of party politics, but Erdoğan has no intention to keep out of the fray. Erdoğan seeks to establish a new system that will not include the checks and balances that limit the power of the president as in the United States and in other countries asking his voters to give him the parliamentary power to “change set laws” and make whatever changes he wants. So now Erdoğan is resorting to foul play to ensure an AKP landslide by taking over the media and converting his opponents to Mankurts.
The story of Turkey is the story of the unrepentant soul. From the time when Islam consumed Turkey that nation never repented for anything it ever did. When European Parliament joined <a href="http://topics.wsj.com/person/F/Pope-Francis/7351">Pope Francis</a> in urging Turkey to recognize the <a class="icon none" href="http://www.wsj.com/articles/armenia-marks-centenary-of-mass-killings-during-ottoman-empire-1429865800" target="_self">1915 massacre of Armenians as a genocide</a>, it only prompted another rebuke from Ankara amid mounting diplomatic tensions over the century-old dispute.
The truth is that such a historic categorization would finally prove that Turkey’s Ottoman ancestors were in the same category as Nazi Germany and a string of dictators from Stalin to Pol Pot. Turkey is one of few  nations on earth (after Japan) that vehemently denies allegations of a systematic killing.
Erdoğan continues the acts of deception with his plans to send Muslims to Europe. During the Pope’s visit Erdoğan shows the Pope some artifacts, a rare video can be seen here (start at 1:26):

What related to Erdoğan’s plans to invade Europe can be seen when he shows the Pope the Tughra which I have been talking about for a while which is the Royal insignia of the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire (review video at 1:26).

This strictly resemble the Muslims flooding into Europe. It resembles what Revelation 12 regarding the woman (the church) being flooded by the gushing forth of Muslim nations from the mouth of the red dragon to dominate Christendom. One must be tuned in the spirit of Prophecy to understand. This is “a ship”. The Bible speaks of the Antichrist destroyed by “The east wind”:

This is how Antichrist loses against the ships of Chittim (Europe) which mimics what happened in history  <a style="line-height: 1.5;" href="https://hystoricus.wordpress.com/tag/the-battle-of-lepanto/">at the Battle of Lepanto</a>:

Prophecy is not only fulfilled once. These ships, just as in Lepanto, will “sink into the heart of the sea” when the “Ships of Chittim” (Europe) will finally retaliate. This depiction is similar to John’s flood which will be “swallowed by the earth”. The wind changed at the Battle of Lepanto as well. A high school student in Texas revealed in a school board meeting that her teacher told the students to deny God and threatened them with a failing grade if they do not deny God. According to <a href="http://eagnews.org/video-student-says-tx-teacher-forced-7th-graders-to-deny-god-is-real-or-take-a-failing-grade/#.Vi_ujhqhFQ4.facebook" target="_blank">the report:</a>

A Texas seventh-grader is standing up for her religious beliefs after she alleges her teacher forced students to deny that God is real, and threatened them with failing grades if they don’t agree.
Jordan Wooley, a seventh grade student at West Memorial Junior High School in the Katy Independent School District, testified at a school board meeting last night about an assignment in her reading class that caused a serious controversy, and expressed frustration about her teacher’s atheist indoctrination.
“Today I was given an assignment in school that questioned my faith and told me that God was not real. Our teacher had started off saying that the assignment had been giving problems all day. We were asked to take a poll to say whether God is fact, opinion or a myth and she told anyone who said fact or opinion was wrong and God was only a myth,” Wooley told board members.
Students immediately objected, Wooley said, but the teacher refused to consider their position.
The teacher, “started telling kids they were completely wrong and that when kids argued we were told we would get in trouble. When I tried to argue, she told me to prove it, and I tried to reference things such as the Bible and stories I have read before from people who have died and went to heaven but came back and told their stories, and she told me both were just things people were doing to get attention.
“I know it wasn’t just me who was affected by it. My friend, she went home and started crying. She was supposed to come with me but she didn’t know if she could” because she was so upset, Wooley said.
The teen explained she spoke with other students in the class who were marked down because they believe God is real, as well as compromises proposed by students to avoid rejecting their faith.
“Another student asked the teacher if we could put what we believe in the paper, and she said we could … but you would fail the paper if you do,” Wooley told the board. “I had known before that our schools aren’t really supposed to teach us much about religion or question religion. When I asked my teacher about it she said it doesn’t have anything to do with religion because the problem is just saying there is no God.”
Wooley was accompanied to the meeting by her mother, Chantel Wooley, who texted with her daughter about the assignment earlier in the day and posted a video to Facebook about the incident after school.
“Hey mom so in reading we were required to say that God is just a myth,” Jordan texted her mother shortly before 3 p.m. Monday. “I thought if a question was against our religion that we could put what we think is true but we got in trouble for saying He is true.”
“Wait what? Myth?” Chantel Wooley replied.
“We had to deny God is real. Yeah, we had to say he was just a myth,” Jordan wrote.
“You got in trouble?” Chantel questioned.
“Yeah she told me I was wrong bc I put it was fact,” Jordan wrote.
“What did you say?” Chantel texted.
“I said he is real and she said that can’t be proven,” Jordan replied.
“And what happened?” Chantel wrote.
“I still put fact on my paper,” Jordan texted.
Jordan told school board members her family contacted the school principal, who promised to speak with the teacher and investigate the incident. Board members also vowed to “look into it,” but said school administrators should first focus on addressing the issue.
They also thanked Wooley for voicing her concerns.
In a Facebook video posted to Chantel Wooley’s profile, Jordan explained the situation in more detail.
“Basically, a lot of people said it was true and real, and she told us we were all wrong,” Jordan said. “She told us it was a commonplace assertion, just a myth, and lot of people got upset about it.
“I called my friend to see how she felt about it, and she was just crying,” Wooley continued.
“And how did that make you feel?” an off-camera voice questions.
“Like she was taking away my religion, what I believe is true,” the teen replied.
Texas education activist Alice Linahan told EAGnews the incident, and how district officials respond, could be an especially important indicator of things to come in the Lone Star state.
Katy ISD Superintendent Alton Frailey, president of the national American Association of School Administrators, was a central figure in crafting the state’s education standards as the former president of the Texas Association of School Administrators.
Frailey is now working to expand similar standards nationally, Linahan said, and is reportedly on Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s short list to replace education Commissioner Michael Williams, who resigned last week.
Linahan pointed to standards Frailey help craft that require a teacher “understands how to connect concepts and use differing perspectives to engage learners in critical thinking, creativity, and collaborative problem solving related to authentic local and global issues,” as evidence that the state standards and closely aligned national Common Core standards divert focus from core subjects to less important issues.
“Will Texas students get a good job when they grow up because they can read well, write well, do math and know history?” Linahan questioned. “Or, will they get a good job, without strong academics, but an emotional attachment and classroom experience to save the world on a global level from a humanist viewpoint, without a belief in God?
“Parents, it is time to step in like Jordan’s mom and say … NO!”
Linahan said Alton Frailey’s role, in both the local issue and the broader education standards, will undoubtedly influence how parents react if he’s appointed the state’s education commissioner by the governor.
“If Governor Abbott names Alton Frailey commissioner of education in Texas, there will be a backlash like … Abbott has never seen before,” Linahan said. “Parents know the truth and we are not going to stand by and watch them do this to our children.”

Mr. Blanchette went to Nancy Young to issue a complaint and settle the problem that he was having with James Kirby Martin. Nancy said that the paper could be graded by three separate professors without Martin’s presence, but Martin persisted that stayed in the grading session, further continuing his pressure against Blanchette, and defying the Department Chair. Nancy did nothing to fight against this academic tyranny.

Blanchette then turned to his student advisor, Robert Zaretsky who, according to Blanchette, called Martin an “asshole” for his commonly exhibited behavior. But, in the end, Zaretsky went against Blanchette, and refused to be his advisor. Blanchette eventually left the University of Houston. The story shows just how evil universities have become.

An abortion doctor and major Planned Parenthood leader, named Uta Landy, spoke in a conference and boasted about how she murdered a child and that during the abortion the child’s eye fell off. In the talk Landy sadistically <a href="http://www.christianpost.com/news/abortion-planned-parenthood-video-late-term-abortion-148343/#IeYBxvgKYmHa80eF.99" target="_blank">said</a>, “”An eyeball just fell down into my lap and that’s gross, and I say to myself, ‘This abortion is going well; it’s going safely'”.

A video showing abortion executives applauding and laughing about late-term abortions has been leaked to the public.
“An eyeball just fell down into my lap and that’s gross, and I say to myself, ‘This abortion is going well; it’s going safely,'” said Dr. Uta Landy, reading comments from abortion providers during a conference in 2014.
Landy’s comments were accompanied by laughter and applause. She is the former director for Planned Parenthood California, according to the por life group Live Action News, and works for the Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health in San Francisco.
“I feel like any time you enter the body, it’s grotesque,” Landy declared to laughter. “I just want to honor that we have different feelings about this — we need to be prepared.”
Landy was reading comments from a fellow abortionist, saying that she, personally, finds late-term abortions disturbing but it is the responsibility to the patients that is primary.
“I don’t like saying I am dismembering a fetus. … It makes me feel bad.”
The videos is believed to be unreleased footage of content from the Center for Medical Progress. The organization is currently prohibited from releasing the content because of a federal court order issued under the guise of protecting the safety of the National Federation on Abortion.

Monday’s drug bust — one of the <a href="http://www.dw.com/en/saudi-prince-detained-in-record-drug-bust-in-lebanon/a-18806343" target="_blank">largest</a> at the airport in Lebanese history — is just the latest incident in what’s been an embarrassing month for the Saudi royal family. Just how much drugs are being shipped by Muslim governments will never be known but Saudi prince Abd al-Muhsen bin Walid bin Abd al-Aziz Al Saud and four others were <a href="http://www.cbsnews.com/news/saudi-prince-held-massive-amphetamine-bust-lebanon/" target="_blank">arrested</a> in Lebanon Monday after authorities found more than two tons of illegal drugs, including cocaine and the amphetamine Captagon, in crates loaded onto a Saudi-bound jet. The boxes labeled in Arabic below translate to: “PRIVATE PROPERTY of The Companion of His Majesty The King Prince Abd al-Muhsen bin Walid bin Abd al-Aziz Al Saud”.

Now we’re not talking about two kilos here. These days the Muslim governments are shipping this stuff by the tons.
And they also get away with it and history proves it. The prince may be let off the hook since other members of his sprawling family tree have previously avoided international accusations of drug smuggling under protection in Riyadh.
In 1999, Saudi Prince Nayef bin Sultan bin Fawwaz Al Shaalan <a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/2136242.stm" target="_blank">smuggled</a> two tons of cocaine from Venezuela to France. Now believed to be living under legal shelter in Saudi Arabia, Prince Nayef was accused by France of using his diplomatic status to sneak the drugs onto a jet belonging to the Saudi royal family. He managed to escape his sentencing and was <a href="http://blogs.abcnews.com/theblotter/2007/05/drug_smuggling_.html" target="_blank">convicted</a> in absentia in 2007. The United States also indicted him with conspiracy to distribute cocaine.

In Saudi Arabia, only foreigners and non-royal citizens are punished: death by beheading.

Besides the drug epidemic, surveys have shown that <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQ8PSKSWeEw" target="_blank">46% of Saudi Uni students</a> admit to being gay and engaged in homosexuality.
But the epidemic is not only in Saudi Arabia. Many questioned our interview with Taleb Ibrahim, a Syrian Middle East analyst who was also a lecturer at the High Institute of National Security in Syria who revealed  to Shoebat.com the drug dealing that is just like the Saudis, Recep Tyyip Erdogan of Turkey, according to Ibrahim, uses military jets to cargo drugs from Afghanistan which has generated him up to $200 billion in drug money 70% of which ends up in the U.S.

In 2010, a leaked WikiLeaks cable <a href="http://www.theguardian.com/world/2010/dec/07/wikileaks-cables-saudi-princes-parties" target="_blank">described</a> a royal underground party scene in Jeddah that was “thriving and throbbing” because Saudi officials looked the other way. The dispatch described a Halloween party, funded in part by a prince from the Al Thunayan family, where more than 150 young men and women dressed in costumes and slogged expensive alcohol, which is sold only on the black market in Saudi Arabia. “Though not witnessed directly at this event, cocaine and hashish use is common in these social circles,” the cable read.
Shoebat.com for years have discussed the biblical “Mystery Babylon” which prides itself on such imports:

Remarkably, these are the very imports of Saudi Arabia today. The items may be divided into three categories—but they are all things that she cannot produce herself. The three categories are luxury items, food items—both livestock and produce—and human slaves, even alcohol (wine).
While there are limited legal means to get alcohol and consume it privately in Saudi Arabia, there is also <a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/1160846.stm">smuggling</a>, which is thought to be more active through the eastern side of the country. Saudis interested in bringing in alcohol can do so from neighbouring Gulf states, especially Bahrain, where Saudis can travel easily via a causeway. Another smuggling route is from Jordan where spirits are available, and where some of it is manufactured, like beer and a spirit known as Araq.

Even foreign workers living in “Mystery Babylon” who will have the freedom to flee. However, we are also told that there are many slaves in Mystery Babylon. While most would like to imagine that slavery is a thing of the past, slavery thrives in Saudi Arabia.
In Isaiah’s prophecy, and confirming Revelation 18 regarding the Harlot of Babylon, we see that in the midst of all of the Harlot’s sin and wickedness, she believes that no one sees her:

“You have trusted in your wickedness and have said, ‘No one sees me’” (Isaiah 47:10).

Revelation 18 also describes the Harlot as being utterly arrogant. In her heart she boasts, “I sit as queen; I am not a widow, and I will never mourn” (Revelation 18:7). This is also confirmed in Isaiah 47: “I will continue forever— the eternal queen!…I am, and there is none besides me. I will never be a widow or suffer the loss of children.” Its destruction, “will overtake you in a moment, on a single day” when Elam (Iran) nukes Saudi Arabia (Isaiah 21).
The Last-Day Babylon’s excessive luxury and debauchery which the Harlot expresses that no one is aware of, is typical of the Saudi Monarchy that is known for its hypocritical outward life of public piousness and secret debauchery.

Many argue that the harlot city is Rome because it produces marble, gold, silver, precious stones, pearls, fine linen etc. Yet a closer look at the text reveals that the Harlot city does not produce any of these items. In fact, she is an importer of these goods and not a producer: “And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore…” (Revelation 18:11). These are the products that the Harlot city buys from such merchants and not sells to the merchants of the sea who watch her destruction from the Red Sea (Jeremiah 49:21).

This is crucial for it nullifies the Rome argument. Arabia and not Rome is “by the Red Sea”. Why would Rome import the very items that she already manufactures? In fact, all Saudi goods are imported via the Red Sea, and the list of goods match Saudi imports perfectly—gold, silver, precious stones, pearls, fine linen, vessels of ivory, fine wood and copper ware, iron, marble, spices, perfumes, liquor, sheep, horses, slaves and the souls of men. The Harlot city also imports slaves, horses and even ivory. Arabia imports all of these, yet Rome doesn’t. Saudi Arabia even imports wine (liquor) despite the Islamic prohibition. The Bible clearly says that it does its wickedness “in secret” and even that matches.

According to a recent report, Muslims are sending assassins into refugee camps to deliberately slaughter and kidnap Christians. As we read in <a href="http://www.christianpost.com/news/isis-plot-to-kidnap-or-kill-christians-in-refugee-camps-uncovered-148493/#vLgyEy8pYdKMGzVT.99" target="_blank">one report:</a>

The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has reportedly concocted a plot to either kidnap of kill Christians in refugee camps.
Trained ISIS assassins are infiltrating refugee camps under the guise of being refugees in their mission to kidnap or kill Christians. Aid workers at a Jordan camp managed by the United Nations (UN) uncovered the extremist group’s latest plot, according to a Sunday Express report cited by Christian Today (CT).
The plot was revealed after one of the trained assassins who managed to enter the camp in Jordan renounced jihad after he saw the situation inside the place. He reportedly witnessed how the Christian workers in the refugee camp treated his fellow Syrians with kindness and this touched his heart deeply that he was moved to divulge the ISIS’ plan to the authorities, the Express reports.
The ISIS agent, who was not named for security reasons, also said the extremist group also sent kidnappers into the camps to take female refugees and sell them as sex slaves. The terror group wants to completely wipe off Christianity from the map, the report adds.
“The Muslim gangs come as refugees, but they have their agendas. They’re like a mafia,” CT quotes the UN aid worker’s statement. “People are even killed inside the camps, and the refugees are afraid to say if they saw somebody get killed. If you ask them, they’ll say, ‘I don’t know, I was asleep.'”
Refugees who have witnessed some of the killings resolve to stay mum for fearing of being targeted as the next victim, the aid worker said.
The discovery of the ISIS’ plot to kill Christians in refugee camps gave rise to concerns that disguised assassins may gain entry to the United Kingdom, which has promised to welcome 20,000 Christian refugees from the Middle East. The jihadists could inflict terror on the United Kingdom if they succeed in carrying out their plot, the report relays.

Muslims in Pakistan locked a Christian family into their home and lit the whole house on fire. The husband, with tremendous will power, broke the door open and rescued his family. According to <a href="http://www.christianpost.com/news/pakistani-mob-sets-christian-home-on-fire-tries-to-kill-family-members-by-burning-them-alive-145809/#rEuuPc3XpyhrvDPd.99" target="_blank">the report:</a>

A mob of radicals in the capital city of Pakistan torched the home of a Christian family and attempted to burn them alive by locking them inside before setting it on fire, a Christian aid group is reporting.
Earlier this month, a large group of radicals in Islamabad arrived at the home of 38-year-old Christian Boota Masih and began banging on the door, shouting for him to come outside.
Masih told the British Pakistani Christian Association that when he answered the door, the mob’s leader demanded that he and his family either give up their home, leaving all of their belongings behind, or suffer the consequences.
Masih believes that the mob went to his house because they wanted to take his family’s property. The mob told Masih that he and his family were trespassers in their own home.
Despite the fact that Masih could see that the mob came equipped with weapons, he did not comply and refused to leave his home.
“I was terror stricken, the mob was threatening to kill me and my family. They had weapons in their hands and started to brandish them before me. I thought they would kill all of us,” Masih explained. “I refused to leave my home — I had paid for it fairly and they had no right to ask me to leave.”
After Masih’s refusal, the mob began to beat him with metal rods and sticks. Some of the members of the mob locked Masih and his family inside a room and set the house on fire.
Although the house was destroyed in the fire, Masih was able to rescue his family, which consists of his wife and six children, from the inferno.
“I broke the door down using all my strength, desperate to live and to save my family,” Masih explained. “Soon other local Christians came to rescue us. They put out the flames and called the fire brigade.”
Masih stated that he paid a million Pakistani rupees (about $9,500) in an oral agreement to purchase the house from a man named Ghulam Ali.
The family had only lived in the home for a couple months when the mob arrived on Sept. 10. Masih believes the leader of the mob was Ali’s wife.
The BPCA reports that local police have thus far refused to register a case against mob participants, even though there were eyewitnesses and a written report was submitted to authorities. Additionally, Masih was arrested after Ali filed a FIR against him for allegedly attacking a woman who came to collect rent.
