PJW Live: Biggest News Story in the World Being Ignored

<p><strong>The British government has claimed that it intends to send private security contractors to knock on the doors of anyone returning from holidays to make sure they are quarantining upon their return, as required by law.</strong></p>
<p>Home Secretary Priti Patel <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9597685/Priti-Patel-reveals-plans-10-000-quarantine-checks-day.html">announced Wednesday</a> that those returning from destinations that have not been added to the government’s ‘green list’ should expect to be checked on at their homes.</p>
<p>The warning comes after the government lifted international travel restrictions on Monday, allowing people to go on holiday, but with extensive caveats.</p>
<p>Patel claimed that 10,000 checks will be conducted every day by private contractors hired <a href="https://www.mitie.com/all-services/security-fire/?filter-service=security-and-fire&filter-search=">via the firm <em>Mitie</em></a>, and if people are found to be flouting quarantine or acting noncompliant, police will be called to deal with them, with the authorisation to issue fines of up to £10,000.</p>
<p>The government has decreed that a negative PCR test and ten day quarantine is required for anyone returning from countries it has not deemed to be completely safe to visit, including the popular destinations of The U.S., France, Spain and Greece.</p>
<p>Those returning will then have to take a further two PCR tests (at their own expense) and test negative to be allowed out of their houses after the ten day period.</p>
<p>“People will not go unchecked,” Patel threatened. adding “Significant resources have been put in place – millions of pounds – in terms of the follow-up checking of people around their testing and making sure they stay at home. It has been stepped up.”</p>
<p>Discouraging travel to so called ‘amber list’ countries, Transport Secretary Grant Shapps <a href="https://news.sky.com/story/covid-19-travel-expect-knock-on-the-door-when-you-return-from-amber-countries-priti-patel-warns-12311649">told Sky News</a> Thursday that “You’ve got to quarantine. People will come to your house to check your quarantine. It’s expensive. We’re not at the stage of saying to people, go to those places on holiday. Please don’t.”</p>
<p>Health Secretary Matt Hancock also claimed that the door to door checks are already underway, with 30,000 being conducted last week.</p>
<p>Boris Johnson told MPs yesterday that visits to medium-risk destinations are only acceptable in ‘extreme circumstances’. </p>
<p>The announcement came after millions of people had already booked trips to the destinations, and in many cases have already arrived there, prompting fury from travellers, airlines and booking agents.</p>
<p>Julia Lo Bue-Said, of Advantage Travel Partnership described the government’s actions as “typical nanny state tactics.”</p>
<p>She added “Surely the British public can make up their own mind if they wish to quarantine in order to visit an amber country. As long as protocols are followed, testing is in place and rules in the destination are adhered to we see no reason why we cannot be allowed to travel safely to amber destinations for leisure. Otherwise, make those amber countries red.”</p>
<p>In related news, it has been revealed that UK ‘Covid passports’ officially rolled out for use during international travel <a href="https://summit.news/2021/05/20/privacy-watchdog-uk-covid-passport-small-print-says-it-will-be-used-domestically/">will eventually be used domestically</a> to restrict the movement of the population, according to the small print on the NHS website.</p>

<p><strong>A black actress who landed a lead role in a film that was originally written for an old white man broke down and cried on camera because she felt guilty about not being dark skinned enough.</strong></p>
<p>Yes, really.</p>
<p>Indeed, Thandiwe Newton says she is so mortified at not being black enough, she wants to “apologise every day to darker-skinned actresses.”</p>
<p>Sky News <a href="https://news.sky.com/story/thandiwe-newton-apologises-to-darker-skinned-actresses-for-not-representing-them-12531634">reports</a>: “Her new film, God’s Country, has been adapted from a short story by James Lee Burke – but has swapped the lead character from an older white man into a black woman.”</p>

<p>Not content with the old white man being erased from the movie, Newton is seriously upset that she isn’t black enough, despite being black.</p>
<p>“My internalised prejudice was stopping me from feeling like I could play this role when it’s precisely that prejudice that I’ve received,” she said.</p>
<p>“To say, ‘I’m sorry that I’m the one chosen. My mama looks like you. My mom looks like you’,” she said, apparently devastated that she has – God forbid – a white father.</p>

Hundreds of Students Segregated in Gyms After Protesting School Mask Mandates

<p><strong>A Johns Hopkins professor slammed his own university and the establishment media for failing to report on a major study that concluded lockdowns have been almost completely ineffective at curbing COVID mortality rates.</strong></p>
<p>As we <a href="https://summit.news/2022/02/02/new-johns-hopkins-study-lockdowns-have-had-little-to-no-public-health-effects-and-imposed-enormous-economic-and-social-costs/">reported yesterday</a>, the study was authored by multiple eminent researchers at the University and concluded that  lockdowns “are ill-founded and should be rejected as a pandemic policy instrument.”</p>
<p>The authors wrote that “While this meta-analysis concludes that lockdowns have had little to no public health effects, they have imposed enormous economic and social costs where they have been adopted.”</p>

<p>Appearing on Tucker Carlson’s show Wednesday, Johns Hopkins professor of surgery Dr. Martin Makary blasted the college, noting “Johns Hopkins itself did not even put out a press release about this study, and if you look at the media coverage, it’s one of the biggest stories in the world today, and yet certain media outlets have not even covered it.”</p>
<p>Makary urged that the reason for hiding the study is that “people may already have their own narrative written” about the effectiveness of lockdowns.</p>
<p>The professor dug down into the study and noted that it found that the number of lives saved by the lockdowns is infinitesimal compared to those lost through missed cancer diagnosis and treatment alone.</p>
<p>“It was 124,000 excess deaths in year one. So, over two years, it was about a quarter million people who died,” Makary noted.</p>
<p>He added, “I think the public is hungry for honesty and basic humility from public health officials.”</p>

<p>Senator Rand Paul also referred to the new Johns Hopkins study in an appearance Wednesday, noting “I hope we’ll learn from this the study. There was no correlation between any of the mandates the government put in place and any change in the incidence of the disease.”</p>
<p>Paul reminded viewers that Anthony Fauci has repeatedly claimed that lockdowns have saved millions of lives.  </p>
<p>“It’s become so politicized that I don’t think Dr. Fauci will ever apologize or admit to the country, but we need to have people like him removed from office because they’ve been so wrong on so much policy,” Paul urged.</p>

<p>Other Republicans commented on the Johns Hopkins study Wednesday.</p>
<p>Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kansas <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10470293/GOP-Senator-leads-Republican-fury-study-showed-lockdowns-reduced-mortality-0-2.html">told reporters</a> “Bad judgment and poor leadership from our nation’s health agencies have caused most Americans to live with an unhealthy fear of COVID-19. There is no doubt, we need a new approach to COVID as we must learn to live with it.”</p>
<p>Marshall echoed Paul, stating “That new approach should not include Dr. Fauci – American’s don’t trust him and he has lost his reputation. We must stop the obsession with COVID, stop living in fear and move forward.”</p>
<p>The latest developments come on the heels of <a href="https://summit.news/2022/02/02/70-per-cent-of-americans-say-its-time-to-accept-covid-and-get-on-with-our-lives/">70 per cent of Americans asserting</a> that it’s time to live with COVID and get on with our lives.</p>

Brits Told to Reduce Living Standards as Government Spends £4.7 Million Per Day on Housing Refugees in Hotels

<p><strong>During a television debate, French philosopher Alain Finkielkraut said it would take a “fanatical denial of reality” to disregard the “spectacular” demographic changes that are taking place in Europe.</strong></p>
<p>Alain Finkielkraut, who is one of 40 lifetime members of the 400-year-old Académie Française, which serves to safeguard the French language and culture, <a href="https://rmx.news/trending/famed-french-intellectual-says-great-replacement-is-obvious/">made the comments</a> during an appearance on TV channel Europe 1.</p>
<p>Finkielkraut asserted that attempts to shut down such debates by claiming mere discussion of a “Great Replacement” is dangerous are only serving to distract from a very real and “obvious” problem.</p>
<p>“This is in fact a fragmentation and yes, this risk does exists and in any case, I think the demographic change of Europe is extremely spectacular. The historical peoples in certain municipalities and regions are becoming a minority,” Finkielkraut said. “A whole part of French people now live not in the suburbs, but beyond the suburbs, because they are no longer the cultural reference they used to be, because all the butchers are, for example, Halal.”</p>
<p>The philosopher stressed that the issue should be treated “with a lot of precaution, but demonizing it (as racist) is absurd and once again testifies to the fanatical denial of reality.”</p>
<p>The most vocal and outspoken candidate in the upcoming French election when it comes to highlighting demographic replacement is Jewish intellectual Eric Zemmour, a man who Finkielkraut insists is “too radical.”</p>
<p>Zemmour has called for France’s notorious Islamic ghetto no-go zones, which are routinely the scene of violence and mass rioting, to be “re-conquered by force.”</p>
<p>In a speech, Zemmour also warned that 1.5 billion Africans wanting to make their way to Europe represented “the death of France.”</p>
<p>“I think the anguish felt over the end of France as it was, the anguish of the Great Replacement, has become a global feeling,” said Zemmour last year. “The fear of no longer being France, the fear of the famous Great Replacement. A lot of people are starting to think that Islam is going to replace us. It has become a massive feeling, a mass of 70 to 80 percent of France.”</p>
<p>A <a href="https://summit.news/2021/04/30/poll-majority-of-french-agree-with-military-generals-that-the-country-is-heading-towards-civil-war/">poll</a> taken in April last year found that the majority of French citizens thought some form of “civil war” was likely as a result of failed multiculturalism and attacks on French identity.</p>
<p>The poll was prompted by a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=luYC9SOcoWw">letter</a> that was signed by 1,000 military servicemembers, including 20 retired generals, warning President Macron of “several deadly dangers” threatening France, including “Islamism and the hordes of the banlieue,” a reference to the fractured suburbs around major cities with high crime and immigrant populations.</p>

Germany’s CDU Considers Dropping ‘Christian’ From Name to Appeal to More Diverse Demographic

<p><strong>Citing sources within the Democratic Party, Andrew Yang says it’s now unlikely that Joe Biden will run again for president in 2024 and that donors are sitting back waiting for a better candidate to emerge.</strong></p>
<p>Yang ran a surprising campaign in 2020 that turned him into a major player, leading to his participation in seven of the first eight Democratic debates.</p>
<p>Now the former attorney is predicting that Joe Biden will have to drop out before the next presidential election.</p>
<p>Yang explained how he originally thought Democrats would run Biden to “avoid a fractious primary,” but has since changed his mind.</p>
<p>In addition to Biden’s political agenda stalling, according to Yang, donors are starting to get cold feet.</p>
<p>“There has been increasing unease from large DNC donors,” wrote Yang. “One donor told me that several funders were openly talking about sitting out the next cycle until they knew what/who they were backing.”</p>

<p>“Another suggested that donors were trying to figure out who to coalesce around as a new candidate in 2024,” he added. “If donors are talking this way, they certainly have multiple candidates in-waiting who are thinking this way.”</p>
<p>Yang also revealed that he has “heard from at least a couple of people who are considering mounting a challenge.”</p>
<p>“As the sense deepens that Joe may not run for a 2nd term, people are beginning to prepare their own runs for 2024,” wrote Yang.</p>
<p>The urgency to find a new candidate has increased now that “Trump is so clearly the Republican frontrunner,” according to Yang, who also notes that there is likely to be a strong 3rd party candidate.</p>
<p>Biden’s suitability for a second term took another blow this week when he stumbled his way through a <a href="https://summit.news/2022/01/20/cnn-scrambles-to-explain-away-joe-biden-saying-2022-midterms-could-be-illegitimate/">car crash</a> of a press conference.</p>
<p>With <a href="https://summit.news/2022/01/20/former-white-house-physician-demands-biden-take-cognitive-test-after-weird-presser-breakdown/">questions already swirling</a> as to the president’s cognitive decline, how is he going to perform in the debates in over two and a half years’ time?</p>
<p>Biden’s approval rating also recently <a href="https://summit.news/2022/01/13/bidens-approval-rating-drops-to-new-record-low/">sunk</a> to a new record low as his inability to deal with runaway inflation bites into his poll numbers.</p>
<p>Democrats are so devoid of a viable candidate that there’s even talk Hillary Clinton could throw her hat in the ring for a potential re-run of her 2016 tussle with Trump.</p>
