Covid Cringe: Liberals Use Bob Marley Song To Push Vaccine As Rastas Fight For Medical Freedom In The Caribbean

A group of left-wing TikTokers recently released a song parody that might make viewers wince.
Riffing off Bob Marley’s legendary hit “Jammin’,” the four performers danced while wearing t-shirts reading, “We’re jabbin’ – Hope you are jabbin’ too.”

The uninformed youths probably left Bob Marley turning in his grave.
As a staunch Rastafarian, Marley even refused to allow doctors to amputate his cancerous foot at one point in time.
The religious group is against removing any part of the body as the Bible states the body is the “temple.”
He eventually had the foot cancer removed via skin graft but died in 1981 after the cancer spread through his body.
Now, forty years after the reggae pioneer’s passing, Rastafarians are <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.cijn.org/rastas-opt-out-warn-of-vaccine-intimidation/" target="_blank">battling against government Covid “vaccine intimidation.”</a>

Rastas in Barbados are “totally” against Covid vaccines due to religious reasons.
“Many Rastafari do not take vaccines period, as it goes against the naturalistic lifestyle. There have been court and legal battles fought to waive vaccination requirements for the children of Rastafari parents,” <a href="https://www.cijn.org/jamaicas-covid19-strategy-raises-mistrust-among-rastafarians/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">explained a doctor</a> who is an advisor to the Ethiopian Crown Council.
<a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.cijn.org/rastas-opt-out-warn-of-vaccine-intimidation/" target="_blank">According to the Caribbean Investigative Journalism Network</a>, “The Rastafarian movement wrote to Prime Minister Mia Mottley requesting that its members be issued certificates of exemption from vaccination requirements.”
Another man living in Barbados warned of the government’s “vaccination intimidation” pushing those who don’t want the vaccine to give up and take it.
An activist named Winston Clarke recently organized a petition that will soon be presented to the Employment Rights Tribunal for an emergency hearing.
The petition asks that unvaccinated Barbadians don’t face consequences for their personal decisions.
While there are not mandates as of now, Clarke warns, “I have been telling people from ever since I can see the writing on the wall that it is going to happen and the only way we can do anything about it, is if we come out in force and show them. There are more of us unvaccinated people than there are vaccinated you know. And there are some people who are vaccinated who only did it because they were forced to or coerced to.”
In June, <a href="https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/rastafari-scorn-western-medicine-fuels-jamaican-vaccine-hesitancy-2021-06-24/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">a Rastafarian priest living in Jamaica told Reuters</a>, “There is some danger in (the vaccines) and that is why I am not taking it and not encouraging it.”
A popular Jamaican reggae musician who goes as Jah Bouks said, “It is a false alarm. They are fabricating a lot of things, government and scientists. It is a money-making thing you know.”
The left’s desperate vaccine push is becoming more embarrassing every day.

An FDA slideshow presentation regarding Covid vaccines last year accidentally displayed a long list of possible adverse reactions to the vaccine, including myocarditis, seizures and even death.
The slide, showing the FDA’s draft list of “possible adverse event outcomes,” <a href="https://youtu.be/1XTiL9rUpkg?t=9220">appeared briefly</a> during a public meeting by the US Food and Drug Administration’s Product Advisory Committee on Oct, 22, 2020 reviewing the safety and efficacy of Covid-19 vaccines.

The list also notes “Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children” as one possible outcome following vaccination.
While adverse events were generally discussed throughout the meeting, the slide’s contents were not covered in-depth.
The meeting came as the FDA was considering granting emergency use authorization to Pfizer and Biontech’s experimental jab.

Despite the long list of known possible side effects, the FDA later granted Pfizer emergency use authorization on December 11, 2020, about two months after the meeting.
During the same meeting, a similar list of adverse reactions also appeared briefly during deputy director of the Immunization Safety Office at the CDC Tom Shimabukuro’s presentation (at around <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://youtu.be/1XTiL9rUpkg?t=7589" target="_blank">2:06:29</a>).

The question stands: why if the FDA was aware of the litany of possible adverse outcomes, which macabrely include death, did they not inform the public about the risks, and instead choose to authorize its approval.

Liberal Judge Orders Unemployment Benefits To Continue Despite Massive Job Shortages

A <a href="https://assets.zerohedge.com/s3fs-public/inline-images/liked%20by.PNG">liberal judge</a> in Arkansas has ordered the state to resume federal pandemic unemployment benefits just one month after they expired, in yet another glaring example of why there’s a <a href="https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/huge-unemployment-claims-gap-opens-between-red-and-blue-states">huge gap in unemployment</a> claims between red and blue states (despite Arkansas being a red state).
On Wednesday, Pulaski County Circuit Judge Herbert Wright issued a preliminary injunction so the state can resume participation if the government will “agree to permit the State to do so.”
“If the appropriate federal authorities reject such a reinstatement, the State will immediately provide proof of such communication to the Court,” said Wright.
The decision stems from a lawsuit filed last Friday on behalf of five citizens seeking to enjoin the state from ending pandemic-related unemployment programs, which provided an extra $300 per week on top of state unemployment benefits which average $338 per week. The combined $638 average weekly income is the equivalent of $15.95 per hour for someone working a 40-hour work week, according to the <a href="https://nypost.com/2021/07/29/arkansas-judge-blocks-cuts-to-unemployment-hiring-problems/">NY Post</a>.
In May, Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R) announced that the state would end its participation in the unemployment programs on June 26 – which Hutchinson rightly claimed ‘<a href="https://governor.arkansas.gov/images/uploads/21.05_.07_Dr_._Childers,_DWS,_Federal_Unemployment_.pdf">actually interferes</a>‘ with the ability to fill more than 40,000 vacant jobs in the state. There are some 69,000 unemployed Arkansans.
The plaintiffs in the lawsuit argue that Hutchinson lacked the legal authority to end the state’s participation in the program – which Wright acknowledged was voluntary, but he had “serious doubts that the Governor and the Director of Workforce Services were acting within the scope of their duties” when they canceled the aid.
“Thanks to the ruling, people will now be able to get benefits to help them pay the rent, keep their lights on, have enough food to eat, and see the doctor while they continue their job searches,” said Kevin De Liban, Legal Aid of Arkansas’s director of advocacy.
Half of all US states, largely run by Republicans, have announced plans to end federal unemployment benefits amid massive job shortages.

As the New York Post notes, ‘A <a href="https://nypost.com/2021/07/14/1-8m-americans-turned-down-jobs-due-to-unemployment-benefits/">recent poll</a> by Morning Consult found that more than 1.8 million unemployed Americans have turned down jobs throughout the pandemic due to the generosity of the unemployment benefits. Of the 5,000 surveyed who were actively collecting the benefits, 29 percent said they turned down job offers, according to the poll.’

Toilet Paper Rolls Are Getting Smaller. Blame the Fed

A term has been coined for product sellers who shrink their packages, and thus, the amount of product in those packages, keeping the package price the same: shrinkflation.
Anyone with a bit of good sense or economics training knows this is another form of price inflation, caused by what used to be the dictionary meaning of inflation; an increase in the supply of money. 
For example, while the average American behind continues to widen, toilet paper has narrowed. A friend’s mother busted out a ruler to confirm her theory. Last year John Hebbe of Fairfax, Virginia, provided photographic proof to the <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/roll-with-the-punches-more-complaints-about-how-toilet-paper-has-changed/2020/03/03/bc50548c-5d69-11ea-9055-5fa12981bbbf_story.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Washington Post</a>: an old roll was 4.5 inches wide, a new roll, 3.75 inches. Of course the new rolls are fatter, for now, causing annoyance with home owners with toilet paper dispensers with the roller too close to the wall to accommodate the fatter rolls. 
Greg Rosalsky wrote for <a href="https://www.npr.org/sections/money/2021/07/06/1012409112/beware-of-shrinkflation-inflations-devious-cousin" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NPR.org,</a> “The original Charmin roll of toilet paper, [Edgar Dworsky, former Massachusetts assistant attorney general,] says, had <a href="https://click.nl.npr.org/?qs=72e439fcb065074380bdb227e78c01698090ddf0cd7729dde6a63e0f63ec19f02c2726185ba8f8ef8871b7fe92c8264edb806abb7712740b" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">650 sheets</a>. Now you have to pay extra for “Mega Rolls” and “Super Mega Rolls”—and even those have many fewer sheets than the original. To add insult to injury, Charmin recently <a href="https://click.nl.npr.org/?qs=72e439fcb06507436430d5921dd0eb3903b2624508e06d573d78c79c31a38a42d205f2db8be79b17c97dce8733c2adb9a32af3dadb13b309" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">shrank the size</a> of their toilet sheets. Talk about a crappy deal.”

“Downsizing is really a sneaky price increase,” Dworsky told NPR. “Consumers tend to be price conscious. But they’re not net-weight conscious. They can tell instantly if they’re used to paying $2.99 for a carton of orange juice and that goes up to $3.19. But if the orange juice container goes from 64 ounces to 59 ounces, they’re probably not going to notice.”
Homo economicus is assumed to notice this trickery pokery in neoclassical economics theory. Oliver Kim wrote in <a href="https://www.thecrimson.com/column/homo-economicus/article/2014/9/19/Harvard-homo-economicus-fiction/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Crimson</a>, “But here’s a confession: Homo economicus is at most a useful fiction—in economic jargon, a model. Human beings do not actually think like Scrooge McDuck, but, in approximation and in aggregate, we often behave like we do.”
“Over the years, Edgar Dworsky has documented the downsizing of everything from Doritos to baby shampoo to ranch dressing. ‘The downsizing tends to happen when manufacturers face some type of pricing pressure,’ he says. For example, if the price of gasoline or grain goes up,” Rosalsky explained.
What the NPR scribe misses is inflation’s breakdown of the division of labor. Average folk, not savvy Homo economicus types, have to pump their own gas, scan their own groceries, and, probably worst of all, manage their own retirement funds.

Since the government has deemed its paper tickets and computer digits to be money, Murray Rothbard <a href="https://mises.org/wire/rothbard-essentials-money-and-inflation">wrote</a>, “then the government, as dominant money-supplier, becomes free to create money costlessly and at will. As a result, this ‘inflation’ of the money supply destroys the value of the dollar or pound, drives up prices, cripples economic calculation, and hobbles and seriously damages the workings of the market economy.” That would include the division of labor. 
“As we’re seeing inflation picking up now, that’s why I think you’re going to see more items being downsized,” Dworksy told Rosalsky. “And maybe it’s going to be a double-whammy: We’re going to see some products going up in price at the same time that you’re actually getting less in the package.”
A Charmin spokeswoman, when confronted by <a href="https://click.nl.npr.org/?qs=72e439fcb065074353590c90100e375352895576ae8d747bdf88b7848805445710e057dc19de67a4c2010405c4fb5d464678205f59a5ca49" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">reporters at WBUR</a> about shrinking the size of their toilet sheet squares, pulled an explanation out of her you-know-what, suggesting it was the result of “innovations” allowing “consumers to, basically, wipe their butts more efficiently.” 
Rosalsky, writing from NPR La La Land believes, “consumers will start to notice and voice concern and the power of consumer demand will force companies to listen and right-size their products.” Right-size? What’s the right size? 
Don’t blame Charmin, as Ludwig von Mises <a href="https://mises.org/wire/mises-why-governments-prefer-inflation-taxation">explained</a>. “[I]f the ruling party does not want to imperil its popularity by heavy taxation, it takes recourse to inflation.”
Consumers should complain to those working at the Eccles Building producing money, not to those in the private market producing toilet paper.

A video out of the UK shows NHS nurses demanding to COVID test a newborn baby, claiming it’s not the mother’s property once outside the womb and then threatening to report her to social services for refusing.
The shocking video, which was posted to Twitter, shows a heavily pregnant mother in a hospital bed being lectured by nurses about how it’s mandatory for the baby to be given a COVID test immediately after birth.
“It is my property,” states the mother, to which one of the nurses responds, “so you will…while the baby’s in your abdomen.”
“So you’re saying once the baby comes out it’s not my property no more, yes it is, I gave birth to it, it’s got my blood running through it,” the mother asserts.
The nurse then continued to insist she “explain” why the baby needs a COVID test, which only serves to stress out the pregnant woman.

“Do you really think I need this bullshit about COVID when I’ve got a risk of losing my baby?” the woman asks.
The father of the baby then suggests the pair leave the hospital, stating, “They’re not COVID testing my baby – end of.”
“You can’t tell me that you get to give me the say of what happens once my baby’s born – I don’t think so, you can’t do nothing to my baby without my permission,” says the mother.
The nurse then responds by saying the mother’s refusal to have her baby COVID tested will be documented and passed on to social services (the Safeguarding team), essentially meaning that the mother will be investigated for neglect and possibly face authorities trying to remove the baby from her care.
“You’re so good aren’t you, you people?” the mother sardonically states at the end of the clip, perhaps in reference to how nurses in the UK have been deified as a result of the pandemic, with people at one point being asked to participate in weekly applause sessions to show gratitude to the NHS.

Going Postal: American Postal Workers Union REJECTS Biden Vaccine Mandate

After Joe Biden decreed Thursday that anyone working for the U.S. government will be forced to take coronavirus vaccines, the backlash began almost immediately with the American Postal Workers Union issuing a statement of defiance.

Biden orders all federal workers to be vaccinated or be wear a mask on the job, physically distance from all other employees and visitors, comply with a weekly or twice weekly screening testing requirement, and be subject to restrictions on travel.

“While the APWU leadership continues to encourage postal workers to voluntarily get vaccinated, it is not the role of the federal government to mandate vaccinations for the employees we represent,” the statement urges.
It adds, “Issues related to vaccinations and testing for COVID-19 in the workplace must be negotiated with the APWU. At this time the APWU opposes the mandating of COVID-19 vaccinations in relation to U.S. postal workers.”

The APWU represents more than 220,000 United States Postal Service employees, as well as thousands of mail workers in private mail services.

The union endorsed Biden for president, but is now drawling a line on vaccine mandates.
In addition to, the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association, which represents more than 26,000 federal officers, slammed Biden’s mandate, saying that it believes requiring vaccinations represents an infringement on civil rights.
“There will be a lot of pushback. It’s going to be an avalanche,” President Larry Cosme said, adding that many within the Justice Department and the Department of Homeland Security will oppose the mandate.
<a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2021/07/29/biden-vaccine-federal-workers/">The Washington Post reports</a> that even The American Federation of Teachers, which represents nearly 200,000 health-care workers who could be affected, expressed resistance to the mandate.
“In order for everyone to feel safe and welcome in their workplaces, vaccinations must be negotiated between employers and workers, not coerced,” said the union’s president, Randi Weingarten.
