The Counter Jihad Movement Supports Witch Doctors Kidnapping Children, Ripping Their Teeth Out, Cutting Off Their Lips And Genitals While They Are Still Alive And Sacrificing Them To Appease "The Spirits" To Get Money And Power

<p>Times are tough in east Africa, and many people are turning to witchcraft to try and help themselves. Many times these rituals involve mutilation or human sacrifice, especially of small children:</p><blockquote><p>Jackline Mukisa sobbed as she described how her 8-year-old son was found in a nearby swamp in February without teeth, lips, ears and genitals.</p><p>“My innocent son died a painful death,” said Mukisa, 28. “How could somebody intend to murder my son?”</p><p>A motorcyclist offered John Lubega a lift as he walked back from school, according to fellow students who saw him last. His remains suggest he was slowly killed as part of a human sacrifice ritual performed by witch doctors, apparently to appease the spirits, said Mukisa, who filed a police report.</p><p>No arrest has been made so far.</p><p>In this landlocked country whose diverse landscape includes the snow-capped Ruwenzori Mountains and immense Lake Victoria, many believe sacrificial rituals can bring quick wealth and health.</p><p>Among those rituals, human sacrifice, especially of children, occurs frequently despite the government’s efforts to stop it.</p><p>Seven children and two adults were sacrificed last year, said Moses Binoga, a police officer who heads Uganda’s Anti-Human Sacrifice and Trafficking Task Force. Seven children and six adults were sacrificed in 2015.</p><p>But experts said the number could be much higher.</p><p>Times are tough in Uganda, and people are looking to sacrifices to improve their fortunes. The worst drought in over half a century has hit parts of East Africa, leaving more than 11 million people in this nation facing food insecurity and 1.6 million on the brink of famine, according to the Ugandan government.</p><p>“There is no food due to the ongoing drought, and some believe that this has been brought by ancestral spirits,” said Joel Mugoya, a traditional healer. “So there is a high desire for people to conduct sacrifices so that they come out of this problem.”</p><p>Recently, Uganda police arrested 44 suspects in Katabi, a town 24 miles from the capital, Kampala, in connection with a spate of killings of children and women. Half of the suspects have been charged in court, including two alleged masterminds.</p><p>Uganda Police Inspector General Kale Kayihura said one suspect confessed to killing eight women. More than 21 women have been killed between May 3 and Sept. 4, Kayihura said.</p><p>“The murders were for ritual sacrifices,” he told residents last week. “We are working hard to arrest the remaining suspects and end the practice.”</p><p>Francis Bahati’s wife was among the victims. He discovered her body after three days of searching. Her fingers and feet had been cut off for ritual purposes, likely in hopes of securing better fortunes.</p><p>“I was shocked and even lost consciousness,” he said.</p><p>Last year police arrested Herbert Were, a resident of Busia town in eastern Uganda, for beheading his 8-year-old brother, Joel Ogema. Were, 21, confessed to police that he killed his brother in hopes of attaining wealth.</p><p>Church leaders are teaming up with police to end the brutal practice.</p><p>Pastor Peter Sewakiryanga, who heads Kyampisi Childcare Ministries, a Christian organization that fights child sacrifice in Uganda, said children disappear in the country every week. They are often found dead, or alive with missing body parts.</p><p>Most survivors or victims do not file police reports, Sewakiryanga said, adding that he implores victims to come forward.</p><p>“It’s a serious problem but we are fighting it with the help of the government,” he said.</p><p>Sacrifices often involve removing body parts, blood or tissue while the child is still alive.</p><p>“It’s a brutal ritual that destroys the lives of our children and affects their parents mentally,” he added. “We are working with the police to arrest witch doctors involved in the ritual. We are also assisting the survivors financially and with moral support.”</p><p>Sewakiryanga said his charity worked with Ugandan police three years ago to arrest a witch doctor and his accomplices who sacrificed a 7-year-old girl named Suubi.</p><p>The witch doctor drained her blood and cut out her genitals, he said. He then cut the neck and drained the blood of the girl’s 10-year-old brother, Kanani.</p><p>In June, a Ugandan court sentenced the witch doctor to life in prison.</p><p>Fears of witch doctors have hurt women who practice traditional medicine, however.</p><p>According to KidsRights, a global organization that advocates for children, Uganda has 650,000 registered traditional healers and an estimated 3 million unregistered practitioners. Unscrupulous witch doctors hide among so-called healers, the group said.</p><p>“They should arrest people who murdered my son,” Mukisa said. “The government is doing little to protect our children. They must begin to arrest all witch doctors.”</p><p>But Sewakiryanga said arresting everyone claiming to practice medicine was going too far. He hoped to end the practice by changing the hearts of those who promote human sacrifice.</p><p>Efforts to end the practice need to expand, he said. Other countries in Africa reported to be practicing child sacrifice include Tanzania, Nigeria, Swaziland, Liberia, Botswana, South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe. It is an inseparable part of Islam that even if a person wants to and does personally renounce the violence of Islam, it is a personal decision that has absolutely no effect on Islamic theology because, per Islamic theology these teachings are divinely revealed. Man may disagree with the teachings, but he cannot change them because they are not his to change since he did not create them per his own beliefs, and to say they have changed is to create a new religion because such a man has made his opinion the standard by which truth is measured. So no, nobody here is going pro-Islam ever.</p><p>What has happened is, as we mentioned repeatedly in our writings on the counter-jihad movement, we began to put together and see it for what the movement really is, which is a form of promoting socialism through the window of nationalism.</p><p>Most people who step back and take an objective look at Islam cannot but conclude the religion is evil and that the dysfunction seen in so many Muslim people arises on account of the religion's teachings. That makes Islam and Muslims disliked on a natural level, and for completely understandable reasons. However, as the history of relations between the Muslim and non-Muslim worlds show, non-Muslim rulers driven by power with no concern for people at all love Islam because its inherent violence makes it an ideal target which they can use to promote other evils and in so doing expand and consolidate more wealth and power for themselves at the expense of others. These people do not care who they support or what evils may come from their actions- all that matters is they can create a dichotomy they can use to foment conflict and then present themselves as the answer.</p><p>The story above with the cannibalism is reminiscent of a story back from 2014 about fighting between "Christian" and Muslim groups as part of the Anti-Balaka movement in Africa. The Muslims were defeated, and <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-25708024">some of the Christians who took part in the conflict then killed and ate Muslim prisoners</a>. Muslim or Christian, there is never an excuse for cannibalism. That said, this aspect of the fighting was completely brushed over, and this is one of the great and unspoken evils of the counter jihad movement- to overlook irreconcilable, heinous evils to fight other.</p><p>Now it is well and good to cover persecutions, but as we discovered, this was not a simple case of BAD MUSLIMS KILLING CHRISTIANS. Now while many times Muslims do act out in disordered ways against Christians, likewise Christians can do the same- again <span style="text-decoration: underline">I am not saying that Christians run around persecuting Muslims, or that there is more Christians persecuting Muslims than vice versa, for this would be an absolute lie</span>. What I am saying is that stories at times often have more than what is readily available, and while there is the responsibility to report the news as it happens and one understands it at the time, as one's understanding goes deeper, there is also a responsibility to explain more of the conflict. In the case above, one can immediately see that many of the "Christians" fighting against the Muslims were not Christians at all except in the sense of Haitian Christians who also practice Voodoo (Voudoun as they call it). There is absolutely no precident or justification at all, anywhere in Christian sacred scripture or tradition that allows for the wholesale murder and cannibalism of one's enemies. Such an action is outright paganism, and is something that Christian missionaries fought against for centuries wherever they went, beginning with the ancient world then expanding into Europe, Asia, the Americas, and now Africa. This was the hallmark of the Church's struggle against the Aztec paganism of old, where thousands of people were slaughtered and their hearts ripped out of their bodies as perverse offerings to the sun "god" of their particular religion.</p><p>Yes, these "christian"-in-name-only pagans were fighting the Muslims, but was what they did to the Muslims right? Absolutely not. The evil of the Muslims is not countered by doing evil to them. Again <span style="text-decoration: underline">this does not mean that Christians cannot defend themselves and fight against Muslims when it is right to do so</span>, but the emphasis is that Christianity is NOT Islam and the teachings are irreconcilably different because to be a Christian is to follow in the perfected form of Judaism that God has revealed to be His chosen way of salvation for the human race, whereas Islam is a licencious deception straight out of the abyss in order to lead those who follow it into it. Likewise, all forms of paganism are also paths into the same abyss that Islam leads to with the only difference being the road taken, for the ultimate destination is the same. One cannot expect to reach Heaven by supporting or following paths that lead to hell in order to fight another man traveling down a different path that leads to the same infernal destination. Sigurfreyr Jonasson is so steeped into satanic activities, rituals and weird fascinations that on <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://uk.pinterest.com/sigurfreyr/">his Pinterest page</a> one will find it filled with disturbing images; utter satanism, an abhorrence for Christianity and love for occultism. He then committed arson in a bid to hide the evidence of the murder and stole his victim's credit card, using it to flee by plane to Italy a few days after the murder.</p><p>Fasoli, 58, died on January 7, 2013, after he was brought out of his burning flat in Rubens Road, Northolt.</p><p>Police, London Ambulance Service (LAS) and London Fire Brigade (LFB) attended after being called just before 1.00am. The case was originally treated as non-suspicious, following an investigation led by LFB which concluded the fire was accidental, with the most likely cause a faulty light bulb.</p><p>A forensic pathologist who examined Fasoli's body found no evidence of any third party involvement and the inquest held at West London Coroner's Court on August 16, 2013 returned a verdict of accidental death.</p><p>However, around a year later, in autumn 2014, Fasoli's nephew decided to collect the hard drive of his uncle's computer, which was being stored on behalf of the family with other belongings that had survived the fire by a friend in Yorkshire.</p><p>His nephew knew his uncle had been interested in the family tree and hoped to find research preserved on the computer system. Instead, he discovered a number of videos featuring his uncle taking part in sexual activities with other men - including the horrific seven-hour film of the encounter with Marshall. Fasoli had unwittingly captured his own murder on the web camera that he had on his computer in the living room.</p><p>The film, shown to the jury in court, shows Marshall arriving kitted out with generic police accessories he had purchased on the internet, and he and Fasoli chatting and then engaging in what appears to be consensual role playing based on an 'interrogation' before Marshall initiates what becomes a prolonged and violent domination of Fasoli, culminating in his murder.</p><p>This includes threatening him at knifepoint, and forcibly injecting him on multiple occasions. Classic FM radio station is playing throughout.</p><p>The audio captures the sounds at the end of the film of Fasoli shouting out to Marshall after his head has been covered and he has been pulled off the bed and out of view of the camera. Marshall remains impervious as he continues to ignore his victim's increasing and visible distress.</p><p>Long after Fasoli has stopped making noise, Marshall can be seen lying on the floor and calmly smoking a cigarette, showing no apparent interest in his victim, before gathering his belongings.</p><p>The web camera lead then appears to be pulled out and the sound can be heard of Marshall splashing a liquid around and flicking a lighter. A short time later Marshall is heard leaving the flat and the smoke alarm activates.</p><p>The morning after the murder, Marshall sent a message to Fasoli via the same dating site apologising for not having turned up the night before, in a further attempt to cover his tracks. He then used Fasoli's bank card to withdraw hundreds of pounds. The day before he fled to Italy he sent further messages accusing Peter of 'ignoring' him.</p><p>Later enquiries showed that Marshall had contacted and met Fasoli on at least one occasion in the weeks before January 7, and had led Fasoli to think that on the night of the murder he would be bringing another young man along to join them for the evening.</p><p>Once the hard drive found by Peter's nephew and given to West Yorkshire Police was passed to the MPS, the Met's Homicide and Major Crime Command launched its investigation in November 2014.</p><p>The MPS formally informed the Coroner of this development. Following enquiries, officers identified Marshall as the key suspect. Police discovered that Marshall was in prison in Italy in late 2014, having been convicted and jailed for the murder and subsequent attempted murder of two men in Rome just weeks after he fled the UK. These also took place in the context of sexual encounters.</p><p>A European Arrest Warrant was obtained, and on February 15 officers travelled to Heathrow Airport to meet the flight on which Marshall was returning to the UK. He was arrested and later that same day charged with the murder of Fasoli.</p><p>Detective Inspector James Stevenson, of the Homicide and Major Crime Command, said: "We are pleased the sentence handed down to Marshall for the brutal killing of Peter.</p><p>"This was a cold-blooded attack, during which Marshall cynically gained the trust of a vulnerable older man to get entry into his home, then subjected him to a horrific and prolonged ordeal and ruthlessly ignoring Peter's cries for help, knowing he was fighting to stay alive. These men are 100 times more likely to have anal cancer than HIV-negative men who exclusively have sex with women. Yet, no national screening guidelines exist for anal cancer prevention in any population.</p><p>Anal cancer is predominantly caused by chronic or persistent human papillomavirus (HPV) infection. HPV infection can lead to the development of anal precancer which, if remains undetected or not adequately treated, may lead to anal cancer. Likewise, HPV infection is also responsible for causing cervical, vaginal, vulvar, oropharyngeal, penile and rectal cancers.</p><p>The objective of screening is to identify and treat these precancers to prevent occurrence of anal cancer. However, one of the reasons for the lack of screening guidelines is that anal precancer treatment has not yet been shown to prevent invasive cancer. Our study, published today in the journal Cancer, attempts to find a possible solution to prevent anal cancer in HIV-positive gay and bisexual men, using the best available data. We found that age-specific anal precancer management, including post-treatment HPV vaccination, can potentially lead to an 80 percent decrease in lifetime risk of anal cancer and anal cancer mortality among gay and bisexual men.</p><p>Anal cancer: the next big crisis</p><p>Some in the medical community have identified anal cancer as the next big crisis among HIV-infected gay and bisexual men. Initiation of anti-retroviral therapy in the 1990s greatly reduced the AIDS-related death rate and improved survival. However, this improvement in survival led to an increase in the lifetime risk of developing anal cancer, especially among HIV-positive gay and bisexual men.</p><p>Anal cancer is typically preceded by persistent HPV infection that often leads to precancer. HPV is common among U.S. men; about one out of two men in the general population has HPV infection. HPV typically clears naturally; however, under certain circumstances, it might persist longer and might progress to anal precancer. If it remains undetected, untreated or inadequately treated, this precancer can progress to anal cancer.</p><p>The American Cancer Society estimates there will be 8,200 new anal cancer cases in 2017. In the absence of national screening recommendations, more than 50 percent of these individuals will be diagnosed at stage III or IV, when five-year survival is less than 40 percent. This creates a major public health concern.</p><p>We do not yet know how best to manage anal precancer (also known as high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions) so that anal cancer could be prevented. A national randomized clinical trial study – Anal Cancer HSIL Outcomes Research (ANCHOR) – is currently determining optimal anal precancer management by comparing treatment and active monitoring.</p><p>The question then arises: How do we start managing our patients using the best available evidence? Likewise, it is imperative that these individuals have as much information as possible about anal cancer prevention.</p><p>How our study brings insight</p><p>Using a mathematical model, we simulated the life course of 100,000 hypothetical HIV-positive men who have sex with men (MSM) who were 27 years or older and were diagnosed with high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions. In our model, we compared four different management strategies: (1) individuals were not provided any form of treatment, which is the current practice; (2) individuals were actively monitored (followed biannually) and those who developed early cancer were treated; (3) individuals were immediately treated using surgery (current most popular strategy among clinicians who treat precancer); and (4) individuals in addition to surgical treatment received HPV vaccination (potential strategy).</p><p>We followed these hypothetical patients over their lifetime in our computer model to estimate harms and benefits of the management strategies. We tracked the number of individuals who developed anal cancer and then estimated their risk of death from anal cancer. We then estimated above outcomes by patient age. For each strategy, we estimated age-specific lifetime outcomes considering cost, quality of life and life expectancy.</p><p>We found that HIV-infected gay and bisexual men who are 38 years or older should be treated using surgical treatment of ablation (either infrared coagulation or electrocautery), and that HPV vaccination should be administered at the time of surgery. This strategy is cost-effective and has the potential to decrease the lifetime risk of anal cancer by up to 80 percent in those men.</p><p>The model also found that because younger men are more likely to be cured of their precancer without intervention, patients younger than 29 should not be treated and those between 29 and 38 years old should be actively monitored (watch-and-wait approach) in order to prevent treatment-related inconvenience and morbidity that might affect their quality of life. Between the evil nature of this sin and the fact that the LGBT is engaging in abominable, medically abnormal and disease conducive practices, how could a new disease epidemic be avoided? The document is the first time in at least five centuries- before the Protestant Revolution- that this has happened:</p><blockquote><p>Most Holy Father,</p><p>With profound grief, but moved by fidelity to our Lord Jesus Christ, by love for the Church and for the papacy, and by filial devotion toward yourself, we are compelled to address a correction to Your Holiness on account of the propagation of heresies effected by the apostolic exhortation <em>Amoris laetitia</em> and by other words, deeds and omissions of Your Holiness.</p><p>We are permitted to issue this correction by natural law, by the law of Christ, and by the law of the Church, which three things Your Holiness has been appointed by divine providence to guard. By natural law: for as subjects have by nature a duty to obey their superiors in all lawful things, so they have a right to be governed according to law, and therefore to insist, where need be, that their superiors so govern. By the law of Christ: for His Spirit inspired the apostle Paul to rebuke Peter in public when the latter did not act according to the truth of the gospel (Gal. 2). St Thomas Aquinas notes that this public rebuke from a subject to a superior was licit on account of the imminent danger of scandal concerning the faith (<em>Summa Theologiae</em> 2a 2ae, 33, 4 ad 2), and ‘the gloss of St Augustine’ adds that on this occasion, “Peter gave an example to superiors, that if at any time they should happen to stray from the straight path, they should not disdain to be reproved by their subjects” (ibid.). The law of the Church also constrains us, since it states that “Christ’s faithful . . . have the right, indeed at times the duty, in keeping with their knowledge, competence, and position, to manifest to the sacred pastors their views on matters which concern the good of the Church” (<em>Code of Canon Law</em> 212:2-3; <em>Code of Canons of Oriental Churches </em>15:3).</p><p>Scandal concerning faith and morals has been given to the Church and to the world by the publication of <em>Amoris laetitia</em> and by other acts through which Your Holiness has sufficiently made clear the scope and purpose of this document. Heresies and other errors have in consequence spread through the Church; for while some bishops and cardinals have continued to defend the divinely revealed truths about marriage, the moral law, and the reception of the sacraments, others have denied these truths, and have received from Your Holiness not rebuke but favour. Those cardinals, by contrast, who have submitted<em>dubia</em> to Your Holiness, in order that by this time-honoured method the truth of the gospel might be easily affirmed, have received no answer but silence.</p><p>Most Holy Father, the Petrine ministry has not been entrusted to you that you might impose strange doctrines on the faithful, but so that you may, as a faithful steward, guard the deposit against the day of the Lord’s return (Lk. 12; 1 Tim. 6:20). We adhere wholeheartedly to the doctrine of papal infallibility as defined by the First Vatican Council, and therefore we adhere to the explanation which that same council gave of this charism, which includes this declaration: “The Holy Spirit was not promised to the successors of Peter that they might, by His revelation, make known some new doctrine, but that, by His assistance, they might religiously guard and faithfully expound the revelation or deposit of faith transmitted by the apostles” (<em>Pastor aeternus, </em>cap. 4). For this reason, Your Predecessor, Blessed Pius IX, praised the collective declaration of the German bishops, who noted that “the opinion according to which the pope is ‘an absolute sovereign because of his infallibility’ is based on a completely false understanding of the dogma of papal infallibility.”</p><p>...</p><div>The final part, called ‘Elucidation’, discusses two causes of this unique crisis. One cause is ‘Modernism’. Theologically speaking, <strong>Modernism is the belief that God has not delivered definite truths to the Church, which she must continue to teach in exactly the same sense until the end of time</strong>. Modernists hold that God communicates to mankind only experiences., which human beings can reflect on, so as to make various statements about God, life and religion; but such statements are only provisional, never fixed dogmas. Modernism was condemned by Pope St Pius X at the start of the 20th century, but it revived in the middle of the century. The great and continuing confusion caused in the Catholic Church by Modernism obliges the signatories to describe the true meaning of ‘faith’, ‘heresy’, ‘revelation’, and ‘magisterium’.</div><div></div><div>A second cause of the crisis is <strong>the apparent influence of the ideas of Martin Luther on Pope Francis</strong>. The letter shows how Luther, the founder of Protestantism, had ideas on marriage, divorce, forgiveness, and divine law which correspond to those which the pope has promoted by word, deed and omission. It also notes the explicit and unprecedented praise given by Pope Francis to the German heresiarch.</div><div></div><div>The signatories do not venture to judge the degree of awareness with which Pope Francis has propagated the 7 heresies which they list. <strong>But they respectfully insist that he condemn these heresies, which he has directly or indirectly upheld</strong>.</div><div></div><div>The signatories profess their loyalty to the holy Roman Church, assure the pope of their prayers, and ask for his apostolic blessing. (<a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://rorate-caeli.blogspot.com/2017/09/CORRECTION.html">source</a>)</div></blockquote><p>As the document notes, <span style="text-decoration: underline"><em>this is not an absolute condemnation of heresy, but a step before it</em></span>. It is listing of heretical teachings that the Pope has spoken, the sources from where this conclusion was derived, and asking him in a direct manner to address with a explanation his positions or to repent of their heresy.</p><p>This situation has been building up for some time in the Church. Some love him. Others completely hate him. Both the love or hate for Francis is unusually strong for a pope, and considering that the last formal anti-pope was around 1445, such divisions have not been seen in the Church between fellow Catholics since almost a century before the Protestant Revolution. There is a precedent in Church history for the angst one sees to day, but not in any contemporary sense for the last 500 years.</p><p>As the document lays out, there are seven specific points which are being called into question, all of them surrounding the issues of marriage and the family, as the Catholic Blog OnePeterFive has translated from the Latin:</p><blockquote><p>By these words, deeds, and omissions, and by the above-mentioned passages of the document Amoris laetitia, Your Holiness has upheld, directly or indirectly, and, with what degree of awareness we do not seek to judge, both by public office and by private act propagated in the Church the following false and heretical propositions:</p><p>1). ‘A justified person has not the strength with God’s grace to carry out the objective demands of the divine law, as though any of the commandments of God are impossible for the justified; or as meaning that God’s grace, when it produces justification in an individual, does not invariably and of its nature produce conversion from all serious sin, or is not sufficient for conversion from all serious sin.’</p><p>2). ‘Christians who have obtained a civil divorce from the spouse to whom they are validly married and have contracted a civil marriage with some other person during the lifetime of their spouse, who live more uxorio with their civil partner, and who choose to remain in this state with full knowledge of the nature of their act and full consent of the will to that act, are not necessarily in a state of mortal sin, and can receive sanctifying grace and grow in charity.’</p><p>3). ‘A Christian believer can have full knowledge of a divine law and voluntarily choose to break it in a serious matter, but not be in a state of mortal sin as a result of this action.’</p><p>4). ‘A person is able, while he obeys a divine prohibition, to sin against God by that very act of obedience.’</p><p>5). ‘Conscience can truly and rightly judge that sexual acts between persons who have contracted a civil marriage with each other, although one or both of them is sacramentally married to another person, can sometimes be morally right or requested or even commanded by God.’</p><p>6). ‘Moral principles and moral truths contained in divine revelation and in the natural law do not include negative prohibitions that absolutely forbid particular kinds of action, inasmuch as these are always gravely unlawful on account of their object.’</p><p>7). ‘Our Lord Jesus Christ wills that the Church abandon her perennial discipline of refusing the Eucharist to the divorced and remarried and of refusing absolution to the divorced and remarried who do not express contrition for their state of life and a firm purpose of amendment with regard to it.’ (<a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://onepeterfive.com/catholic-clergy-scholars-issue-filial-correction-to-pope-against-propagation-of-heresies/">source</a>)</p></blockquote><p>Last year, the American Raymond Cardinal Burke and three other Cardinals issued a formal Dubia to Pope Francis, asking him to clarify his statements on the above-stated matters:</p><blockquote><p>It is asked whether, following the affirmations of Amoris Laetitia (300-305), it has now become possible to grant absolution in the sacrament of penance and thus to admit to holy Communion a person who, while bound by a valid marital bond, lives together with a different person more uxorio without fulfilling the conditions provided for by Familiaris Consortio, 84, and subsequently reaffirmed by Reconciliatio et Paenitentia, 34, and Sacramentum Caritatis, 29. Can the expression “in certain cases” found in Note 351 (305) of the exhortation Amoris Laetitia be applied to divorced persons who are in a new union and who continue to live more uxorio?</p><p>After the publication of the post-synodal exhortation Amoris Laetitia (304), does one still need to regard as valid the teaching of St. John Paul II’s encyclical Veritatis Splendor, 79, based on sacred Scripture and on the Tradition of the Church, on the existence of absolute moral norms that prohibit intrinsically evil acts and that are binding without exceptions?</p><p>After Amoris Laetitia (301) is it still possible to affirm that a person who habitually lives in contradiction to a commandment of God’s law, as for instance the one that prohibits adultery (Matthew 19:3-9), finds him or herself in an objective situation of grave habitual sin (Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts, “Declaration,” June 24, 2000)?</p><p>After the affirmations of Amoris Laetitia (302) on “circumstances which mitigate moral responsibility,” does one still need to regard as valid the teaching of St. John Paul II’s encyclical Veritatis Splendor, 81, based on sacred Scripture and on the Tradition of the Church, according to which “circumstances or intentions can never transform an act intrinsically evil by virtue of its object into an act ‘subjectively’ good or defensible as a choice”?</p><p>After Amoris Laetitia (303) does one still need to regard as valid the teaching of St. John Paul II’s encyclical Veritatis Splendor, 56, based on sacred Scripture and on the Tradition of the Church, that excludes a creative interpretation of the role of conscience and that emphasizes that conscience can never be authorized to legitimate exceptions to absolute moral norms that prohibit intrinsically evil acts by virtue of their object? (<a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.ncregister.com/blog/edward-pentin/full-text-and-explanatory-notes-of-cardinals-questions-on-amoris-laetitia">source</a>)</p></blockquote><p>All of this is a very serious matter. What is being stated is that Pope Francis, for the first time in centuries as it concerns a Pope, is being formally accused in accordance with Church procedures of heresy by attempting to redefine divinely revealed teachings.</p><p>While the charges are serious, this is also an excellent teaching opportunity for the power and limits of the pope. Contrary to what many Protestants and even non-Christians think, the Pope cannot arbitrarily teach anything he wants in his formal capacity as pope. Sure, he is an individual with an opinion and his opinions on various matters may be right or wrong, but that is when he speaks in the capacity of his personal views as an individual, not as the temporal guardian of the Church. When speaking as the Pope, his job is not to create new dogmas because dogmas are divinely revealed truths from God. Since God is the author and not man, it is for man to understand and expound upon that which already exists, not to redefine, create or eliminate anything because it is not his place to do so because the dogmas are not his. The dogmas are like a trust fund, where God is the one who created the trust and who is belongs to, and the Pope is the guardian, or trustee, of the trust. The Pope's job is to watch over the trust, and he cannot add to or subtract anything from it. He can only report what is already there.</p><p>This is why the charges are so serious- because Pope Francis is being charged with attempting to illegally modify the contents of God's deposit of Faith he gave to His Church. It is another way of saying that the Pope is attempting to rob God or even worse, play God by attempting to speak in His place instead of as His representative.</p><p>A second point that is to be made is that what is taking place here, while it is something that has not been since the 15th century, is not new as far as Church history is concerned. There have been many popes who were heretics or just bad people. However, as noted above, the Pope is merely a trustee. He did not create the teachings of the Church, and he cannot eliminate them because they do not belong to him. Likewise, since they do not belong to him, his behavior as a person or his individual ideas cannot change or affect them in any way. The only thing that the pope can do is affect the perception of the Church, for better or worse. Pope Francis' ambiguous statements have paralyzed many in the Church, and due to his refusal to clarify them even when formally asked by fellow bishops he refuses to, and the result has been widespread confusion and disorder. In the meantime, as we have pointed out, there is a tremendous movement in the Church, lead in particular by heretical bishops from Germany, Holland, and even the USA, to legitimize communion for divorced and remarried as well as to give legitimacy to the horrendous abomination of homosexual unions. The latter has been made a particular issue in the USA due to the <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://www.americamagazine.org/faith/2017/04/12/father-james-martin-appointed-pope-francis-vatican-department-communications">appointment </a>of Fr. James Martin by Pope Francis to the Vatican department of communications, especially in light of how Fr. Martin is a passionate advocate of homosexual unions, brags that homosexuality can lead to sainthood, and even made the abominable statement that Mary, Mother of God <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://www.facebook.com/FrJamesMartin/posts/10154760118671496?pnref=story">may have been a lesbian</a>.</p><p>Again, the issue here is not that Fr. Martin is clearly a heretical priest who is worthy of death for multiple crimes, but that he was appointed by Pope Francis, that after he made and continues to make and defends his past statements that Pope Francis will not do anything to correct him, and that Pope Francis has a clear history from the beginning of his papacy and continuing forward of making statements that would seem to support heretical or sinful positions while at the same time refusing to clarify his statements.</p><p>Finally- and the most important part to remember- is that what is happening with Francis today does not mean it is THE END OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH. This is a common statement made so often but it fails to take into account the history of the Church as a whole. To put some context around this, consider that there have been 42 formal anti-popes, <em>not even mentioning actual heretical popes</em>. These are false claimants to the papal office, and does not even matter if they are heretics or not in that context. Since the last antipope was around 1445 and up until then there had been 207 popes, that means that there was at least one anti-pope every 34 years. Considering that the average lifespan of a person today is around 80 years, one can say that up until 1445, it was completely possible that a man could see two antipopes during his lifetime.</p><p>The Church has survived 42 antipopes and many heretical or just plain bad popes. She has continued to grow and will continue to grow, even if there are periods of great persecution or even apostasies in her ranks. Even if she has not had a major heresy or controversy involving the pope in 500 years, it does not mean that she is suddenly going to collapse- it just means that she is long overdue for what has traditionally happened throughout Christian history. The gruesome finds included pictures the couples had taken posing with the dismembered bodies, including body parts on a food platter as well as canning human meat in jars according to a recent report:</p><blockquote><p>Blood-chilling photos on a cell phone found by a construction worker have led to the capture of a suspected cannibal couple in Russia, who according to local media ate over two dozen people after committing murders over a period spanning 20 years.</p><p>The allegations covered by various media outlets are nothing short of spine-chilling.</p><p>According to initial reports, the couple, from Russia’s Krasnodar Region, has allegedly been involved in the gruesome practice since 1999. It was also said that the couple was in fact responsible for the deaths of up to 30 people.</p><p>The gruesome details by the media even went far as to state that the duo – who lived in a military dormitory – not only engaged in the practice on their own, but also sought to “serve the men.”</p><p>The couple reportedly manufactured canned human meet for their own stockpile and to feed to the servicemen in the nearby military school, where the woman worked as a nurse.</p><p>Seven packs of body parts, 19 samples of human skin, and human remains pickled in jars were all found in the freezer and cellar of the Krasnodar house of horrors, according to Russian media reports.</p><p>Officials have so far not confirmed the allegations, although the details revealed by the authorities are shocking.</p><p>The horrendous story began to unfold when construction worker Roman Khomyakov arrived at a police station in the Krasnodar Region of southern Russia on September 11, greatly disturbed by the sickening images on a phone he’d found on the street.</p><p>On the black Samsung’s cracked screen, Khomyakov swiped through a series of gruesome pictures showing a man posing for selfies with what appeared to be the head and wrists of a woman. Khomyakov told police he’d been even more shocked when the same man approached him on the street to ask if he’d picked up a phone in the area.</p><p>Krasnodar police traced the sim card to a 35-year-old man with an address at a Krasnodar military aviation school dormitory, where he is reportedly an employee along with his wife Natalia. “They [the suspects] are now detained,” the Investigative Committee said in a statement.</p><p>A bloody bucket was found during a raid on the home, and investigators discovered unknown substances “in a salt liquid.”</p><p>In addition, law enforcement found food fragments "and frozen meat of unknown origin in the kitchen,” according to Russia’s Investigative Committee.</p><p>Authorities are now trying to establish "whether the meat found belongs to a human or animal.”</p><p>“Apart from that, some body remnants of the dead woman were found in the basement and adjacent territory.”</p><p>Under questioning, the male suspect claimed he found the body parts in a forest on the evening of September 8.
