Ottawa City Council Demands ‘Pipeline of Funding’ Be Cut Off For Trucker ‘Mercenaries’

<p><strong>The Ottawa City Council is struggling to cope with the Freedom Convoy that’s been occupying the city for the last several days.</strong></p>
<p>City council member Diane Deans in a Zoom meeting called the truckers “mercenaries” and demanded that GoFundMe, under threat of legal action, cut off the “pipeline of funding” to the Freedom Convoy.</p>
<p>“We need to cut off the pipeline of funding to these…mercenaries that are unlawfully protesting and occupying our communities,” Deans said.</p>

<p>“I want to ask the mayor if he will pick up the phone and call GoFundMe in the states directly and demand that they cease and desist sending money to these unlawful protesters,” Deans continued, adding that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau should “do the same.”</p>
<p>“We’ve had some conversations about perhaps suing GoFundMe, but legal action takes time and this is urgent,” she added.</p>
<p>The shamefulness of Dean’s incendiary rhetoric of calling the truckers “mercenaries” cannot be overstated.</p>
<p>Deans, by definition, just called the peaceful protesters – her own constituents – professional soldiers hired by a foreign enemy.</p>

<p>The disturbing remarks echo a similar talking point recently made by a CBC anchor who <a href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/with-trudeau-in-hiding-cbc-suggests-putin-behind-truckers-freedom-convoy/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">accused</a> the Freedom Convoy movement of being hatched by “Russian actors.”</p>
<p>This comes just days after Ottawa City Councillor Mathieu Fleury called for the city to <a href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/ottawa-city-councillor-requests-lawsuit-to-seize-freedom-convoys-gofundme-funds/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">launch court proceedings</a> against GoFundMe for allowing the Freedom Convoy page to continue receiving donations.</p>
<p>The Freedom Convoy, with over $10 million in funding raised, is showing no signs of leaving Ottawa anytime soon, and PM Trudeau is still MIA after having fled the capital last weekend.</p>

<p><strong>The Canadian trucker convoy protesters making headlines worldwide are hoping to achieve their first victory as Alberta politicians will soon meet with members of a group blocking the Montana/Alberta border.</strong></p>
<p>Video taken by <em>Rebel News</em> reporter Kian Simone shows the demonstrators voting to open one lane of traffic across the border in exchange for the dropping of all rural Alberta mandates and vaccine passports.</p>
<p>Posting the footage online, Simone writes, “Rural MLAs are meeting at 2pm to discuss lifting ALL mandates, in rural Alberta. That’s if the truckers open a lane to the border. The truckers will be opening one lane, on standby to make sure the MLAs keep their word, they will shut it back down if not.”</p>
<p>“If they do not meet our requests, then that border is shut down immediately,” one of the group’s leaders assured the others.</p>

<p>Hoping to show the politicians that they want to work with them in ending the blockade, the truckers opened a lane at the border in good faith that the mandates will be lifted.</p>

<p>Another interesting development in the Canadian trucker convoy saga came when <em>Rebel News</em> captured police providing an alternative account of an alleged assault on an officer.</p>
<p>On Tuesday, Alberta Premier Jason Kenney claimed protesters “assaulted law enforcement officers.”</p>
<p>However, police confirmed the “assault” Kenney was referring to was actually between two citizens who got into a car wreck.</p>

Teacher Made White Elementary School Children Apologize to Black Kids For Their Skin Color

<p><strong>A 5th grade teacher working in the North Penn School District made white elementary school children apologize to black kids for their skin color, according to irate parents.</strong></p>
<p>The sensational claim was made during a school board meeting by the mother of a child who attends AM Kulp Elementary School.</p>
<p>“I actually pulled my daughter out of AM Kulp because of the 5th grade teacher who lined those students up, from whitest to darkest,” she said.</p>
<p>“(The teacher) made them turn around and made the white ones apologize to the black ones – now do not tell me that did not happen in this district,” the mother added.</p>
<p>“You need to put an end to this. Kids do not see color and you are segregating them and you are separating them. This is not OK. Do something or get out of those damn chairs!” she concluded.</p>
<p>The mother’s complaint was bolstered by a further claim by another individual at the meeting who described how the same teacher forced children to take part in a ‘privilege walk’ multiple times.</p>

<p>“This board has repeatedly denied an activity that has taken place at AM Kulp Elementary…it happened in the courtyard…not once but four times,” said the speaker.</p>
<p>“A teacher…lined the students up on the wall, asked them to step forward if their parents were married, step forward if their parents were college educated, step forward if they own a cellphone or an iPhone, step forward if their skin color resembled a band aid, step forward if they had an in-ground pool.”</p>
<p>Explaining that multiple different parents had told him that this had happened, the speaker also related how the teacher in question “also added at one point when she asked about a band aid with a mini-megaphone, the teacher told the student to get back on the wall because her parents were from India.”</p>
<p>The speaker finished by accusing the school board of falsely denying that such events were taking place.</p>
<p>North Penn School District appears to be riddled with activist teachers intent on indoctrinating children.</p>
<p>Last month, we <a href="https://summit.news/2022/01/20/parents-outraged-over-photo-of-teacher-taping-mask-to-childs-face/">highlighted</a> an image that went viral showing a North Penn teacher forcibly taping a mask to a child’s face.</p>
<p>Parents across the country have come under attack by both the media and the government for their vocal opposition to Critical Race Theory being taught in American schools.</p>
<p>In September last year, the National Association of School Boards (NASB) sent a letter to the Biden administration claiming parents were engaging in domestic terrorism by fighting against CRT and mask mandates.</p>
<p>Attorney General Merrick Garland subsequently announced the DOJ and FBI would establish a task force aimed at probing a “disturbing spike” in threats against school officials.</p>

Austria Embraces Communism: Freedom Party Condemns Vaccine ‘Chinese Social Model’

<p><strong>Austria’s vaccine mandate went into effect on Tuesday, prompting the nation’s opposition leader to slam the draconian measure as “health communism” in a historic speech.</strong></p>
<p>The mandate law requires residents 18 and older to take the experimental COVID mRNA injection or face steep fines and possibly jail time, and unelected Chancellor Karl Nehammer’s government is also imposing biannual booster shots via a Green Pass.</p>
<p>Austrian Freedom Party (Freiheitliche Partei Österreichs, FPÖ) Leader Herbert Kickl delivered an impassioned speech on the floor of Parliament on January 20 condemning the government’s decision to openly move toward communism and a “Chinese social model.”</p>

<p><em>With this vaccination, ladies, and gentlemen, the way is being prepared for totalitarianism in Austria. It is nothing other than the introduction of HEALTH COMMUNISM.</em></p>
<p><em>It is a cruel irony of history that in order to fight a Chinese virus, we are introducing the Chinese social model in Austria, which is characterized by many things but not by freedom and democracy.</em></p>
<p><em>Totalitarianism: what the individual wants no longer counts, only what is good for the masses counts, and what is good for the masses will be dictated in the future by experts of the calibre of</em></p>
<p><em>Health Minister [Wolfgang] Mückstein, who will tell us what is good for the masses, and whoever does not comply will be persecuted like a criminal. Ladies and gentlemen, this is a door opener for dilettantism and arbitrariness in equal measure, and can never gain our [Freedom Party’s] approval.</em></p>

<p>Noting that other European countries like the UK, Denmark and Sweden are preparing to drop all COVID mandates, Austria is doubling down in defiance of the science.</p>

<p>While all others abolish the measures, you want to drive everybody from age 18 up to great-grandma to take the needle. This is really a piece of insanity that you are introducing here today.</p>
