Federal Reserve’s Assault on Savers Continues

<p><strong>The front-page headline in the <em>Wall Street Journal</em> on October 14 says it all, “Inflation Is Back at Highest in over a Decade.” The Labor Department reported that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased 5.4 percent from a year ago.</strong></p>
<p>This should not have been a surprise to Federal Reserve chairman Jerome Powell and his fellow board members nor to its hundreds of PhD economists who drill into the economic data to forecast the economy.</p>
<p>In 2020, when the US economy imploded under the lockdown orders of the federal government and state governors, the Federal Reserve’s balance sheet exploded from $4.17 trillion in February 2020 to $8.48 trillion in October 2021. In other words, the Federal Reserve bought more than $4 trillion in mortgage-backed securities and US Treasury debt in less than two years. This increase in the Fed’s balance sheet in eighteen months is more than was purchased in the first hundred-plus years of its existence. This unprecedented “money printing” has had enormous consequences for the economy and the American people, not the least of which is accelerating price inflation.</p>
<p>As the new money created by the Fed diffuses throughout the economy prices rise in an uneven fashion. Economic sectors and geographic regions are affected differently depending on how the recipients of the newly received dollars spend them, an observation I identified forty years ago in my doctoral dissertation on the spread of inflation through the economy.</p>
<p>The broad measure of the money supply, M2, consists of cash, checking accounts, savings accounts, small denomination time deposits, and money market funds. M2 increased from $15.4 trillion in February 2020 to nearly $21 trillion dollars in September 2021—nearly a 33 percent increase in liquid assets that the American people have at their disposal to buy goods and services in the marketplace.</p>
<p>Any PhD economist should have been able to conclude that opening up the monetary spigot full blast to “stimulate” because of the lockdowns would raise prices down the road. We are now down that road. Price inflation will probably continue for at least two more years. Once price inflation accelerates as it did in the mid- to late 1960s and then again in the early and late 1970s and early 1980s, it takes “tight money” by the Fed to slay the price inflation dragon. </p>
<p>Forty years ago was the peak of the double-digit inflation that began in the mid-1970s, when the Federal Reserve inflated the money supply to boost the economy after the 1973–75 deep recession. In addition to the recession, double-digit inflation rocked the US economy. In 1979, to get inflation under control President Jimmy Carter appointed Paul Volcker Fed chairman, who continued his tight money policy after Ronald Reagan was elected in November 1980. The fed funds rate (the rate at which banks borrow from each other overnight, controlled by the Fed) climbed to 22 percent in December 1980. Three-month Treasury bill rates topped out at 16.30 percent in May 1981, while the inflation rate was about 10.00 percent. In short, savers were getting a substantial real rate of return on their T-bills and their money market accounts.</p>
<p>Since the early 1980s the fed funds rate has been dropping, not in a straight line, but more like a staircase. Currently, the fed funds rate is a tad above 0 percent while the inflation rate has clearly accelerated in the past year to more than 5 percent. The interest rate on bank money market accounts is 0.02 percent at my bank. Inasmuch as I have a substantial amount of cash reserves—funds for the proverbial rainy day—I and tens of millions of Americans are losing hundreds of billions of dollars in interest due to the Federal Reserve’s super easy money policies. </p>

<p>To rectify this highway robbery I propose the Congress pass and President Biden sign the Savers’ Protection Act. The act would state that if the interest rate on savings accounts, money market funds, and other short-term instruments are less than the rate of inflation, savers will deduct the lost savings on their tax return. For example, if someone has $100,000 in a money market fund the account should pay at least the rate of inflation for the year. Today that would be about $5,000. I propose a tax credit of at least 50 percent of the lost interest, $2,500 or more. </p>
<p>If the federal government does not protect the American people from the Fed’s reckless monetary policies, which have caused prices to accelerate and have blown up another financial bubble, then the public “could go on strike” and withdraw their money until banks pay us a market rate of interest. As every undergraduate business student learns in a corporate finance course, the nominal rate of interest on a risk-free asset, such as a bank account, equals the real rate plus the inflation premium. The American people should earn 7 percent on their savings accounts. I would be content at this time to earn the inflation rate on my money market account.</p>

MSNBC Freaks Out Over ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Slogan on AR-15, Tells Secret Service It’s Threat Against President

<p>The far-left fake news outlet launched into a meltdown over gun dealers marketing their AR-15 firearms with the “Let’s Go Brandon” slogan that’s become a new way of saying “Fuck Joe Biden.”</p>
<p>Palmetto State Armory is marketing a “<a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-ar-15-letsgo-15-stripped-lower-receiver-pre-order-ships-in-approximately-10-12-weeks.html" target="_blank">LETSGO-15 Stripped Lower Receiver</a>” that describes three modes of the fire selector on the weapon: “’<a href="https://www.infowars.com/cdn-cgi/l/email-protection" class="__cf_email__" data-cfemail="d89e989b93">[email protected]</a>!’” (Safe), “’JOE!’” (Fire), “’BIDEN!’” (Full-Auto).”</p>
<p>The lower receiver also features a laser-engraved logo of a victorious Biden with the NASCAR flag.</p>
<p>An exasperated MSNBC reporter called Ken Dilanian said Monday that he reached out to the Secret Service because Biden’s image next to the firing mode selector means it’s a “threat to the president.”</p>

<p>Dilanian then tried whitewashing the origins of the “Let’s Go Brandon” chant.</p>
<p>“The phrase ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ has become a right-wing code for ‘expletive Joe Biden,'” he said.</p>
<p>“It originated during a NASCAR race last month in Alabama when a driver named Brandon Brown was being interviewed by an NBC sports reporter,” he explained. “A nearby crowd was chanting something that was difficult to make out and the reporter suggested they were chanting ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ to cheer the winning driver, but it became increasingly clear that they were chanting something else.”</p>
<p>That’s a lie.</p>
<p>It was immediately clear to the network and anybody else watching that the crowd was chanting “Fuck Joe Biden,” so the reporter tried and failed at damage control by gaslighting the viewers that the crowd was chanting “Let’s Go Brandon.”</p>

<p>The rest is history.</p>
<p>The Secret Service declined to comment, likely because MSNBC’s question was too ridiculous to merit a response.</p>
<p>“Love how PSA is in touch with the current Let’s Go Brandon situation,” says one of the comments below the product description. “More than half of America and other parts of the world are chanting. The current administration is destroying our country.”</p>
<p>Mainstream media and Big Tech have been working overtime to stifle and silence the spread of the increasingly popular “Let’s Go Brandon” chant that’s become a rallying cry of dissatisfaction with Biden’s administration and the media.</p>
<p>For example, YouTube and TikTok recently <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/youtube-deletes-maga-rappers-lets-go-brandon-song-because-it-contains-medical-misinformation-with-lyric-pandemic-aint-real/" target="_blank">removed</a> rapper Bryson Gray’s #1 hit song on iTunes “Let’s Go Brandon,” calling it “medical misinformation.”</p>
<p>A CNN reporter also <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/cnn-analyst-compares-pilots-lets-go-brandon-quip-to-declaration-of-support-for-isis/" target="_blank">compared</a> the “Let’s Go Brandon” chant to a declaration of support for ISIS.</p>

<p>Gray explains his music is different than that of industry rappers like Cardi B, who claimed she doesn’t allow her children to hear her music because it’s chock-full of obscenities.</p>
<p>“But they want your kids to listen to it, your kids to buy it,” Gray says.</p>
<p>“My plan is just to burn it all down,” the successful rapper declares, pointing out he’ll appear in the top 50 of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart despite having zero radio spins.</p>
<p>On Monday, Gray’s hit debuted at #28 on Billboard’s Hot 100.</p>

Watch: Netflix’s Kaepernick Special Compares NFL Players To Slaves

<p><strong>Failed NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick is managing to stay relevant with the help of Netflix after he compared NFL players to slaves in a recently released special titled, “Colin in Black and White.”</strong></p>
<p>The half-white, half-black activist claims players being examined by coaches and staff of NFL teams leading up to the league’s draft are being treated like slaves who were sold at auctions over a hundred years ago.</p>
<p>“Before they put you on the field, teams poke, prod, and examine you searching for any defect that might affect your performance,” Kaepernick told the audience. “No boundary respect. No dignity left intact.”</p>

<p>The ridiculousness of the comparison is laughable considering the large amounts of money and social recognition professional sports players in America receive.</p>
<p>Additionally, the whole thing reeks of jealousy and bitterness as Kaepernick has been unsuccessfully attempting to get back into the NFL for years now after he chose to exit his contract in 2016.</p>
<p>Just a few weeks ago, the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback <a href="https://www.ebony.com/covers/colin-kaepernick/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">told <em>Ebony</em> magazine</a>, “I am still up at 5 a.m. training five, six days a week making sure I’m prepared to take a team to a Super Bowl again. That’s not something I will ever let go of.”</p>
<p>Is Kaepernick some sort of football masochist longing to be treated like a slave?</p>
<p>Satire news site <em>The Babylon Bee</em> mocked the social justice warrior’s hypocritical statements, writing, “Kaepernick Sad That No Slave Owner Will Enslave Him No Matter How Many Times He Tries Out To Be A Slave.”</p>

<p>“Because right now, folks are thinking that they’re victims, and they’re living in the most prosperous, the most opportunity, in any country in the world,” he continued. “And so this one hurts me, because every day I get up, and I go out and try to help young African American boys become men, and try to instill those values. <p>Other segments of the Kaepernick special have been uploaded too, showing more racial weirdness like the former NFL player claiming, “Playing ball the right way means playing ball the white way,” whatever that means.</p>

<p>The former quarterback also accused several popular black television characters such as Steve Urkel or Carlton Banks of being “acceptable negroes.”</p>
<p>Colin claims these classic TV personalities are “a white man’s creation” who are only liked by white people because they are “non-threatening.”</p>

Dr Mike Yeadon – “The findings that 100% of Covid-19 Vaccine Deaths have been caused by just 5% of the batches produced are unprecedented”

<p><strong>On October 31st we revealed how an investigation of data found in the USA’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) has revealed that extremely high numbers of adverse reactions and deaths have been reported against specific lot numbers of the Covid-19 vaccines several times, meaning deadly batches of the experimental injections have now been identified.</strong></p>
<p><strong>The investigation uncovered several shocking findings, including that 100% of deaths reported to VAERS as adverse reactions to the Covid-19 injections were caused by just 5% of the batches produced.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Dr Mike Yeadon, former Vice-President of Pfizer, has detailed his thoughts on the conclusions of the investigation of VAERS data below.</strong></p>

<p>This information about different safety profiles of different “lots” (batches of finished product of covid19 vaccines) is completely without precedent.</p>
<p>I’m thinking about it and I don’t yet have clear in my mind what the envelope of plausible / possible explanations are.</p>
<p>But the bottom line is that the majority of lots were associated with good short term safety, few hospitalisations & deaths, which is true for both the Pfizer & Moderna injections.</p>

<p>But in both cases, a small number of vaccine lots are associated with incredibly high rates of adverse events including deaths.</p>
<p>How can this possibly happen? Drug manufacturing is performed to exacting standards of control. The ‘active’ agent is made in batches. It cannot be guessed how many doses each batch makes, because no one has ever made commercial scale mRNA products before.</p>
<p>But each batch of what’s called “drug substance” is then used to formulate, fill, pack & label various lots of finished drug product.</p>
<p>Testing methods are developed for all of the manufacturing steps, together with standards for the results to be considered acceptable.</p>
<p>Something happened between drug substance & drug product which resulted in a small number of finished lots for distribution which were destined to kill huge numbers of people.</p>

<h4>Possible explanations (not exhaustive):</h4>
<p>1. Errors made in the final steps of manufacturing which resulted in certain batches bring reasonably benign & others extraordinarily deadly. I just cannot imagine the kind of mistakes which could produce such radically different clinical profiles. For example, poor handling during shipping & storage prior to administration to people. Problem I have with this is that such handling errors (eg allowing temperate to rise way above limits defined in stability testing) usually result in drug product which doesn’t work properly, as it’s degraded, not in drug product that’s incredible dangerous.</p>
<p>2. At some point in manufacturing, someone or some entity actively modified what was being filled into vials, and it was this which resulted in extreme skew of clinical safety profile.</p>
<p>There has been so much truly awful behaviour of “elites” that I’m simply not willing (as I would have historically) to dismiss the possibility that this has been done on purpose. </p>
<p>What I do know, and this is a test of whether there’s the slightest sign of integrity from these companies as well as the regulatory agencies,  is that all use of the affected produce must immediately cease, all batches of drug substance & lots of drug product should cease.</p>
<p>The materials should be recalled to a place of stable storage & an intense analytical investigation initiated.</p>
<p>Unless factors are found which adequately explain the huge differences in clinical adverse event profiles, administration to humans must not restart.</p>
<p>If the manufacturers do not exhibit sufficient control of drug product, the authorisation they hold from various regulatory authorities are utterly voided.</p>
<p>Just when you thought this debacle couldn’t possibly get any worse, it gets much worse.</p>
<p>Expect to hear more about this.</p>
