Governor Inslee to Mandate Covid-19 Vaccines For All Private Businesses in Washington

<p><strong>Washington Gov. Jay Inslee has <a href="https://thepostmillennial.com/inslee-to-mandate-covid-vaccination-for-private-businesses" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">been granted</a> an emergency extension of his Covid-19 emergency powers, which he plans to use to expand his vaccine mandate to the private sector.</strong></p>
<p>According to reports, the Washington Department of Labour and Industries (L&I) filed the emergency rulemaking package last week, which allows Inslee to maintain dictatorial power over the citizens of Washington.</p>
<p>Elected officials say that the package extends and expands the state’s Covid vaccine mandates, which will soon apply to all private businesses throughout the state in addition to the public sector.</p>
<p>State representatives Jim Walsh (R-Aberdeen) and Jesse Young (R-Gig Harbor) released a statement condemning the L&I for re-upping Inslee’s tyrant powers, which are already being used to further enslave Washingtonians under extreme covid fascism.</p>
<p>“This mandate from L&I demonstrates a complete lack of transparency, which dilutes public trust in our government and fails to show the agency’s good faith in promulgating the rule,” that statement reads.</p>
<p>“The reality is this move by L&I is a blank check for the agency to enforce any of the Governor’s mandates or edicts on private employers.”</p>
<p>What L&I should have done, the letter goes on to state, is allow the public to review and comment on the extension before decreeing it. This would have facilitated openness and transparency.</p>
<p><strong>“Even if an opportunity for review and comment is not afforded the public, L&I’s website should host the proposed rulemaking to grant easy access to the public,” they further wrote. “Furthermore, adopting such a broad, vague rule without clear direction will lead to arbitrary enforcement.”</strong></p>

<p>Even Stevie Wonder could see it: When you believe in things you don’t understand, you suffer; superstition ain’t the way.</p>
<p>Covid has become a religion. American Vaxxers, more accurately labeled “injectors,” believe in something they don’t understand. Injectors don’t understand that the injections don’t resemble conventional, prior vaxxes. They can’t explain the mRNA mechanism by which the injections are said to work. They’re also unaware that the number of near-term post-injection deaths after 9 months of Covid injections exceeds the death tolls from all vaccinations combined over the past 30 years. They know nothing about the long term safety of the injections, nor of data revealing breakthrough deaths in the US and abroad. Nor do they know, after 19 months of media fearmongering, that the vast majority of people are at functionally zero risk from Covid. They watch too much TV.</p>
<p>Nonetheless, most Americans <em>believe</em> in the injections because the injections have been marketed with the halo-effected label, “vaccines.” Many Americans see the injection as a modern, magical talisman, a technological sacrament that enables them to walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death. Never mind that they would have been fine without the ritualistic injections.</p>
<p>Using the vaxx label is misleading, and required the CDC to recently change its catechistic definition of “vaccine.” After the Covid-19 vaccines were introduced, and it was discovered they did not necessarily “prevent disease” or “provide immunity,” the CDC quietly tweaked the definition of vaccines to require that they merely “produce protection.” Calling the Covid injections “vaccines” is like comparing Britney Spears to Miles Davis by calling them both “musicians.”</p>
<p>Americans’ faith in medicine now exceeds their faith in a Supreme Being. Americans have been brainwashed by decades of TV shows with actors portraying heroic, brilliant, compassionate MDs. More recently, Americans have been shown endless hospital and Pharma ads of smiling people strolling in slow motion through golden light across flowery meadows, accompanied by a loved one and soft, ruminative background piano. Adeptly propagandized, all things medical have become subliminally associated with healing, health and earthly Eden. This illusion persists despite many Americans’ frequently expressed real-life dissatisfaction with medical personnel, procedures, hospitals and results obtained, including long lists of dreadful drug side effects, read rapidly at the ads’ ends: cognitive dissonance.</p>
<p>Injectors haven’t reviewed, and would not understand, the injections’ clinical trial data. They recite, like a creed, that the injections are 95% effective, though they can’t explain what that means. The Injection Taliban supports mandatory injections because some nominal doctors on TV ads and interviews assert that the injections are “safe and effective.” They’re unaware that many <em>other</em> doctors, whom the media suppresses, instead explain on the Internet, backed by data and logic, why the injections are <em>unsafe</em> and <em>unhelpful</em>. This latter group of physicians resemble latter day Martin Luthers, who are not invited by corporate TV stations to post their Theses. And whenthese injection blasphemers post on the Net, the latter day Vatican, i.e., Big Tech, censors them.</p>
<p>The core, suppressed truth of the past 19 months is this: even without treatment, over 99.98% of uninjected, normal weight people under 70 survive Coronavirus infections; with basic, inexpensive outpatient treatment, even more do.</p>
<p>Yet, for months, Covid-fearing, fire and brimstone preachers have convinced their flocks (of sheep) that Covid guarantees universal, physical damnation and that the injection is the only way to salvation.</p>
<p>Indoctrinated injection choir members have repeatedly, fervently asserted that the injected “don’t get or spread the virus.” As breakthrough cases multiply, this is disproven daily. Adapting to such failure, the injectors’ fallback has been that “Yeah, but vaxxed people don’t get hospitalized or die.”</p>
<p>This is false. In the UK and Israel, which vaxxed earliest, many of the injected <em>are</em> being hospitalized and dying. While US and state governments are declining to systematically collect, and are suppressing, similar information revealing injection failure, the same effect is now emerging in such American jurisdictions as Vermont and Massachusetts. For now, US government and media are gaming the stats to promote the injection fanatics’ false tenet that there’s a “pandemic of the unvaccinated.” One trick is that those who die within 14 days of injecting are categorized as “unvaccinated.” However, because the injection temporarily attenuates immunity, the injected become especially vulnerable to infection during that 14 day window. Further, the testing standards for the injected are much more relaxed than they are for the uninjected. The complicit media will decline to ask serious questions about such recordkeeping and thus, allow the truth to continue to be hidden. Ignore that man behind the curtain! Get your booster!</p>
<p>The Vaxx Church has its clergy. Even though he’s been repeatedly wrong or equivocal, many still believe deeply that Fauci is wise and infallible; to the injection zealots, he’s the Pope, the Ayatollah and Jim Jones rolled into one. The Vaxx Church has various subsidiary clergy in state governors’ mansions. They have Covid-televangelist TV networks like CNN, CBS, CSNBC and PBS. And the Vaxx Church has global reach, with missionaries in places like Canada, Australia and New Zealand.</p>
<p>The injectors brook no dissent or questions from heretics. In making everyone inject, the government doesn’t care if you’re young and healthy and at no risk. Neither does the government care if you’ve had the virus already and, therefore, have developed natural immunity that’s 27 times more robust than injected immunity. Nor does it care to which of the various brands of injections you submit. They also don’t care if the injections are effective against a variety of continually evolving virus variants. The government only wants you to <em>inject</em> <em>something.</em> The Injection Crusade is clearly about control, submission and deception, not public health. It feels like a fraternity hazing ritual, only riskier and more lucrative.</p>
<p>None of this would be so bad if the injectors just injected and went about their lives: faith should be its own reward. Instead, the injectors insist on foisting their deeply mistaken dogma on others. These New Age, physically invasive, injection proselytizers won’t be satisfied until they convert everyone. They demand that you bend the knee to the government and the Medical/Pharmaceutical Industrial Complex; the line between the two is blurry.</p>
<p>The injection end game is this: if everyone injects, there will be no control group, and Biden and Fauci will claim that the injections saved humanity. Thus, the shots are a deceitful backdoor effort to falsely justify the purported—but utterly failed— Covid Commandments: lockdowns, arbitrary social distancing, mass testing, contact tracing and mask mandates, and to obscure the inexorable protection bestowed by natural herd immunity.</p>
<p>But Big Pharma can’t make tens of billions from natural immunity. Nor can politicians claim credit for it. So the Covid Inquisition continues.</p>
<p>Injectors, this is the United States of America. It’s your right to believe in things you don’t understand. It’s also your right to ignore data and science and to not know what a PCR test is and how it’s been used to wreck a society. It’s even OK to have child-like faith in the Medical Industrial Complex. While you may regret the short or long term effects of the injections, that choice is yours. You have free will. Drink the Kool-Aid if you want.</p>
<p>But America doesn’t—or at least didn’t use to—take away people’s basic civil rights and livelihoods because they don’t share the beliefs of an official state religion. Rather, Americans recoil at the notion of theocracy; it’s fundamentally anathema, characteristic of Iran or Saudi Arabia. The Orthodox injection crusaders must not be allowed to foist their mistaken beliefs on the infidels who have studied and know the injections are, at best, a scam, and who wish to apply their knowledge in the exercise of their natural law sovereignty over their own bodies.</p>
<p>The lockdowns, mask mandates, school closings and absurd social distancing rules have already done far too much deep, irreversible harm. The injection jihad must end.</p>

<h3><strong>GOVERNMENT AND BUSINESS SURVEILLANCE</strong></h3>
<p>It is impossible to speak of government surveillance and Social Credit systems without citing China. Back in 2014 the Chinese authorities had set out their plan to implement the social credit system which had the objective of <strong>“raising the honest mentality and credit levels of the entire society”.</strong> The “Planning Outline for the Construction of a Social Credit System” (2014-2020) was published in 2014 and was implemented only a year later.</p>
<p>Touted as an important component part of the Socialist market economy system and the social governance system, China’s social credit system combines government and business surveillance giving citizens a “score” that can potentially restrict their ability to take actions, such as purchasing plane tickets, acquiring property or taking loans all due to their behaviours. <h3><strong>A SINCERITY CULTURE</strong></h3>
<p>Nevertheless, it is not solely all about the financial behaviours, the inherent requirements of the social credit system (SCS) are to establish a “sincerity culture”.  A common theme within the policy goals is  three distinct but interconnected terms: xinyong, zhengxin, and <a href="file:///C:/Users/User/Desktop/Lin,%20Delia.%202017.%20Civilising%20citizens%20in%20post-Mao%20China:%20Understanding%20the%20rhetoric%20of%20suzhi.%20London:">chengxin</a>. <a href="file:///C:/Users/User/Desktop/Lin,%20Delia.%202017.%20Civilising%20citizens%20in%20post-Mao%20China:%20Understanding%20the%20rhetoric%20of%20suzhi.%20London:"><strong>Zhengxin</strong></a> refers to credit reporting, evaluating individuals and businesses creditworthiness. <strong>Chengxin,</strong> said to be one of the Xi administration’s “core socialist values”, has various translations: trustworthiness, honesty, integrity, or sincerity all desirable behaviours within society.  The term <a href="file:///C:/Users/User/Desktop/Lin,%20Delia.%202017.%20Civilising%20citizens%20in%20post-Mao%20China:%20Understanding%20the%20rhetoric%20of%20suzhi.%20London:">Xinyong</a>, carries connotations of both zhengxin and chengxin referring to not only financial creditworthiness but also the quality of an individual or an organization for being trustworthy and contract-abiding. With an aim to carry forward the “ethical norms, citizens morals and trust-keeping traditional culture of the nation”, the authorities “<strong>fully give rein to the propaganda and guiding roles of television, radio, newspapers” drive home and shape the behaviour”</strong>.</p>
<h3><strong>ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND FACIAL RECOGNITION</strong></h3>

<p>Mass surveillance in turn provides masses of <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://time.com/collection/davos-2019/5502592/china-social-credit-score/" target="_blank">data</a> to easier determine individuals are acting in a trustworthy way or worthy of being blacklisted. Blacklisting opportunities can also be found online where the Chinese government continues to track behaviours of its citizens and evidence of writing and <strong>sharing anti-government messages. </strong> Then there is the AI software which is advanced enough to be able to alert authorities when violations occur and can identify protests towards government policies and block them.</p>
<h3><strong>BLACKLISTED</strong></h3>
<p>Points can be lost from a social credit score for numerous offenses, some are as trivial as not visiting parents on a regular basis, walking a dog without a lead, smoking in a no smoking zone, jaywalking… Blacklisting occurs for more serious violations and has a negative impact on the privileges afforded to individuals. Thousands have had their <a href="https://www.npr.org/2018/10/31/662696776/what-its-like-to-be-on-the-blacklist-in-chinas-new-social-credit-system" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">rights to buy plane tickets and travel</a> either domestically or abroad taken away from them.</p>

<h3><strong>THE HISTORICAL PRECURSORS</strong></h3>
<p>Although the introduction of a unified SCS was <a href="https://www.wired.com/beyond-the-beyond/2015/06/chinese-planning-outline-social-credit-system/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">announced</a> in a formal fashion in 2014 they have not gone from A-Z in a few short years. China has operated with precursors to this system for centuries with the philosophy behind it arguably being traced back to the ‘warring states’ era and the varying schools of thought:  <strong> </strong><a href="https://asiasociety.org/education/confucianism">Confucianism</a> <strong> – i</strong>ndividual well-being was connected to good character, and the proper functioning of society as a whole.  <a href="https://slife.org/mohism/">Mohism</a> <strong> –</strong> humans should care for each other equally and advocated a society where all were treated impartially. And <a href="https://www.worldhistory.org/Legalism/">Legalism</a>  emphasized the importance of laws, strictly enforced from above, to preserve social order, this has remained the most dominant. The Chinese way of life therefore would allow us to believe that they are more malleable and accepting of the SCS scheme which is only expanding and automatising the existing bureaucratic control by adding technology and formality. </p>
<h3><strong>BLACK MIRROR – NOSEDIVE</strong></h3>
<p>But could this work in a westernised nation? A Netflix series Black Mirror written by <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_Brooker">Charlie Brooker</a>  observed, albeit in an exaggerated, satirical fashion, how accepting of a social media credit system much of society is.  Nosedive, released in 2016 looked at the relationship between people, their mobile phones and social media and the obsession with being judged well in a system that enabled ranking of each other’s behaviours judged well in a system that enabled ranking of each other’s behaviours.</p>

<h3><strong>THE SCS HAS NOT BEEN IMPLEMENTED EVERYWHERE IN CHINA</strong></h3>
<p>However, this is not how the SCS works in China, in the places where it has been implemented it can be much <a href="https://www.youtube.com/embed/PVkWokLqPOg?feature=oembed">worse</a>. It is also not up and running everywhere in China as we have been led to believe, it has been implemented in certain areas and has not always been successfully continued.</p>

<h3><strong>THE FUNDAMENTAL CHANGE TO THE UK</strong></h3>
<p>Why, then would it be assumed that we, in the UK, who unlike the Chinese have not had very long to be prepared for such a system, will accept it?</p>
<p> The “window of opportunity”, created by <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klaus_Schwab">Klaus Schwab</a> was an opportunity for leaders of nation states to catapult the citizens into a fascist, dictatorial <a href="https://www.weforum.org/focus/fourth-industrial-revolution">Fourth Industrial Revolution</a> . According to the World Economic Forum (WEF this is a “fundamental <a href="https://www.weforum.org/focus/fourth-industrial-revolution">Change</a>  in the way we live, work and relate to one another. It is a new chapter in human development, enabled by extraordinary technology advances” The crisis that is COVID primed and prepared society by demanding unquestioning compliance to nonsensical rules, extra surveillance, outrageous media propaganda, stripping away our Human Rights and censorship. <a href="https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/cancel%20culture">Cancel Culture</a> too has been rife forcing people to restrain from voicing opinions opposing the government and masses, or risk being ostracized from certain online communities and also social and professional circles.</p>
<h3><strong>A SOCIAL CREDIT SYSTEM PILOT SCHEME</strong></h3>
<p>The demands made on the British people throughout the crisis do not align with the norms and values of our society, yet we are about to be thrust further into a dictatorial governance aided by advances in technology and AI. This will begin with a softer approach (think <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boiling_frog">Boiling frog</a>), in a government pilot scheme <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-pilot-to-help-people-exercise-more-and-eat-better">announced</a> in July 2021 to run what they termed their “Healthy Incentives Programme”.</p>
<h3><strong>NEW YEAR – NEW ME</strong></h3>
<p>Focusing on those living in England with excess weight and obesity the scheme aims to incentivise healthier choices and <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-pilot-to-help-people-exercise-more-and-eat-better">behaviours</a> with rewards such as vouchers, merchandise, discounts, and gift cards. Partnering with the government is a company called <a href="https://www.headuplabs.com/">HeadUp</a> who have created an app using “wearable technology” with “recent advances in AI” will launch in January 2022.  Clearly the government are using the fact that the New Year resolutions are still in people’s conscious minds and the topic “weight loss” is the most popular in online <a href="https://publichealth.jmir.org/2020/3/e20923/?utm_source=TrendMD&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=JMIR_TrendMD_0">searches</a>.  Therefore by “giving the people what they want” they are lulling us into a false sense of security but the next addition to the surveillance is ready to be implemented.</p>

<p>A company named <a href="https://www.finalyse.com/blog/behavioral-scorecard-with-machine-learning-components">Finalyse</a> have already created a system,  <a href="https://www.finalyse.com/blog/behavioral-scorecard-with-machine-learning-components">Machine Learning </a>which will use behavioural scoring. Soon this technology will be scoring our fitness levels, eating habits, and credit scores, shopping preferences, social media posts, or how nice we have been to next doors cat.</p>
<p>What is to be a good citizen or display “good behaviour” will be in accordance with what the government deems it to be . There will be no difference in outward views, no individuality, just a society of obedient submissive round pegs that fit into the round holes created for them.  Are the British people going to be content with this fundamental change?  Surely, if the SCS has not been overly successful in China, there should be no chance of it working in the UK<strong>? It looks like we’re about to find out…</strong></p>

French Government Seeks Extension of Covid-19 Emergency Measures Until After Elections

<p><strong>The French government <a href="https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/analysis-french-govt-seeks-to-extend-covid-restrictions-until-after-presidential-elections/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">is looking to extend its capacity to prolong Covid-19 emergency measures.</a> A proposal for the extension has already passed in the French parliament’s lower house. The proposal seeks to extend Covid-19 measures until July 31st, 2022 – beyond the presidential election scheduled in April next year.</strong></p>
<p>Less than half of the total members of the French National Assembly – 260 out of 577 – attended the night session held from October 20th to October 21st. Of the 260 present, 135 voted to approve the “sanitary surveillance bill” extending the state of emergency in the entire country. Only 125 voted against it.</p>
<p>The bill will give French President Emmanuel Macron additional powers to lift, extend or reimpose Covid-19 restrictions – such as lockdowns, curfews and vaccine passports – over the next eight months without parliamentary control. Macron’s emergency powers will go beyond the French presidential election on April 22nd next year.</p>
<p>However, Macron cannot count on an automatic majority in the higher chamber, and voices have been raised in favour of freedom. Even left-wing senators are showing signs of wanting to resist.</p>
<p>During the same session, the lower house also approved an amendment permitting directors of secondary schools to find out the vaccinations status of their students. School directors will obtain this information from the public health insurance system, the amendment noted.</p>
<p>The French government defended the amendment, saying that it facilitates “the organisation of screening and vaccination campaigns” and the arrangement of teaching conditions “so as to prevent the risk of spreading the virus.”</p>
<p>France currently makes use of the sanitary pass, its version of a vaccine passport, as proof that someone has received the Covid-19 injection. The pass accepts proof of full vaccination, a recent recovery from Covid-19 or a negative PCR or antigen test less than three days old.</p>
<p><strong>On August 9th, France mandated the pass for all adults. The sanitary pass has been required for leisure, sports and cultural activities; access to food establishments; rail transport and non-emergency hospital treatments. The mandate was extended to those aged 12 to 17 on September 30th.</strong></p>

The Supreme Court decides the religious right asked it for too much

<p>The Supreme Court handed down a <a href="https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/21pdf/21a90_6j37.pdf">brief order</a> Friday evening — it is literally just one sentence long — denying relief to a group of Maine health care workers who object to the Covid-19 vaccine on religious grounds. This means that nearly all workers in health care facilities licensed by the state must be vaccinated in order to keep their jobs.</p>
<p>Yet, while this order, which is also accompanied by a one-paragraph concurring opinion by Justice Amy Coney Barrett and a longer dissent by Justice Neil Gorsuch, is quite brief, it is significant because it suggests that there may be some limit to the conservative majority’s solicitude for religious conservatives.</p>
<p>Earlier in the pandemic, the Court handed down a pair of decisions that <a href="https://www.vox.com/2021/4/12/22379689/supreme-court-amy-coney-barrett-religion-california-tandon-newsom-first-amendment">revolutionized its approach to religious liberty cases</a> and granted churches and other houses of worship broad exemptions from public health orders intended to control the spread of Covid-19. The Court’s Friday evening decision in <em>Does v. Mills</em>, by contrast, appears to have been decided on the narrowest possible grounds. Though it is a loss for the religious right, it is not an especially significant one.</p>
<p>Maine requires nearly all health care workers to be <a href="https://www.vox.com/22737016/supreme-court-covid-vaccine-religious-liberty-brett-kavanaugh-amy-coney-barrett-does-mills">vaccinated against Covid-19</a>. It argues that this requirement is necessary because those workers are unusually likely to interact with patients who are vulnerable to the disease, and because the state’s health care system could potentially be disabled if too many health care workers are infected. The state does exempt a very narrow slice of health care workers, however: those who risk adverse health consequences if they are vaccinated, such as people with serious allergies to the vaccine.</p>
<p>The plaintiffs <a href="https://www.supremecourt.gov/DocketPDF/21/21A90/196983/20211020152710123_Application%20-%20Emergency%20Writ%20of%20Injunction%20Pending%20Cert%20FINAL.pdf">argued</a> that religious objectors must be exempted from this requirement because the state also provided an exemption to people who could suffer health consequences if they are vaccinated — an argument that is, at least, <a href="https://www.vox.com/2021/4/12/22379689/supreme-court-amy-coney-barrett-religion-california-tandon-newsom-first-amendment">plausible under the Court’s recent religion decisions</a>. They were supported in an <a href="https://www.supremecourt.gov/DocketPDF/21/21A90/197569/20211025201136751_Does%20v.%20Mills%20amicus%20brief%20_%20Final.pdf">amicus brief</a> by the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, arguably the nation’s most sophisticated law firm representing religious right causes.</p>
<p>In a <a href="https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/21pdf/21a90_6j37.pdf">dissent</a> joined by Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito, Gorsuch essentially agrees with the plaintiffs, making the case for granting a religious exemption to the state’s vaccine mandate. Quoting <a href="https://scholar.google.com/scholar_case?case=17656243762288077494&hl=en&as_sdt=6&as_vis=1&oi=scholarr"><em>Tandon v. Newsom</em></a> (2021), one of the Court’s two recent decisions granting places of worship an exemption from certain public health rules, Gorsuch claims that a law is constitutionally suspect “if it treats ‘any comparable secular activity more favorably than religious exercise.’”</p>
<p>Thus, under Gorsuch’s approach, the state must exempt religious objectors because it has a single exemption — again, for people who could suffer serious health consequences if they receive the vaccine.</p>
<p>Had Gorsuch’s approach prevailed, it’s likely that religious objectors would be exempted from nearly any law. Speed limits, for example, typically exempt police, ambulances, and other emergency vehicles responding to an emergency. Even laws banning homicide typically contain exemptions for self-defense. (Although, in fairness, Gorsuch concedes that a religious exemption is inappropriate when the “challenged law serves a compelling interest and represents the least restrictive means for doing so.” So Gorsuch probably would not allow religiously motivated murder.)</p>
<p>In any event, Gorsuch’s view did not prevail — though it is far from clear that it will not receive five votes in a future case. Though Justice Barrett joined a majority of the Court in allowing Maine’s vaccine mandate to take effect, her opinion (which is joined by Justice Brett Kavanaugh) clarifies that she did so on exceedingly narrow grounds.</p>
<p>Essentially, Barrett argues that the Supreme Court has discretion to decide which cases it wants to hear. And her opinion suggests that she would exercise her discretion to not hear this particular case.</p>
<p>That’s consistent with an approach she <a href="https://scholarship.law.nd.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=4734&context=ndlr">laid out in a 2017 essay</a>, where she argued that Supreme Court justices who encounter an argument that they think is legally valid but that would lead to disastrous results should exercise their discretion <a href="https://www.vox.com/21497317/originalism-amy-coney-barrett-constitution-supreme-court">not to hear a case raising that argument</a>.</p>
<p>For now, at least, the bottom line is that Maine’s vaccine mandate is in effect. Public-facing health care workers will need to receive the Covid-19 vaccine unless they have a medical excuse.</p>
<p>Again, it’s not a huge loss for the religious right. But the decision in <em>Does</em> suggests that there is, at least, some limit to the Court’s willingness to carve out legal exemptions for religious conservatives.</p>
