Several lawmakers testified that the statue is ‘offensive’, with Democratic Assemblyman Charles Barron of Brooklyn even declaring that Jefferson was a “slaveholding pedophile.” 
Barron added “I think it should be put in storage somewhere, destroyed or whatever.”

A local ABC affiliate <a href="https://abc7ny.com/thomas-jefferson-city-council-new-york-save-our-statue/11139323/">reports</a> that the statue is “expected to go on ‘long term loan’ to the New-York Historical Society by the end of the year, where it would be included in educational exhibits with the proper historical context that likely will include discussion of Jefferson’s slave ownership.”
NYC Mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa expressed opposition to the move, asking “Do we suddenly wipe out the images, the markings, the names of all those great patriots because they were slaveholders and slave holding was quite common at that time?”
Republican City council member Joe Borelli also accused NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio of waging a “progressive war on history.” 
“The de Blasio administration will continue the progressive war on history as he, himself, fades away into a portrait on a City Hall wall,” the Staten Island member <a href="https://nypost.com/2021/10/13/de-blasio-booting-founding-father-jefferson-from-city-hall/">told </a>the New York Post. 
Back in 2017, after statues of Confederate figures were targeted, President Trump predicted that soon enough it would be statues of Jefferson and Washington that would face the axe.
“This week it’s Robert E. Lee. I noticed that Stonewall Jackson is coming down. I wonder, is George Washington next week and is it Thomas Jefferson the week after? You really do have to ask yourself: ‘Where does it stop?’” Trump asked at the time.

A video uploaded to YouTube on September 20, 2019 is going viral after predictions made in the post ended up coming true over the next couple of years.
The video was shot <a href="https://www.ajmc.com/view/a-timeline-of-covid19-developments-in-2020" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">almost four months before</a> the World Health Organization first announced a mysterious coronavirus-related pneumonia was found spreading in Wuhan, China.
Posted by the YouTube channel <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqRExLQDlfd5sjEiNAgc6qQ" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Cabin Talk</a>, a woman named Claudia told her followers, “They are planning a pandemic, I am so sure of that.”
“First of all, Bill Gates said there will be a pandemic and at least 38 million people will die,” she added.

Continuing, Claudia told viewers about a 2019 <a href="https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2019-09-24/pdf/2019-20804.pdf" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Trump executive order</a> initiating a task force committed to rapidly producing vaccines in case of a virus outbreak.
“How much more clear can it get that we have mandatory adult vaccines just around the corner?” the YouTuber asked. “This is where we are at in this country and if there is a pandemic anywhere, there will be global everything. Because you know what will happen? All the countries will say we have to rally together because with airplanes, the viruses can travel so fast, and we’ll all globally implement the same damn laws which will be mandatory vaccines with toxic shit in our bodies that has not at all been proven effective or safe.”
She noted that California already gave lawmakers the power to implement Martial Law if an outbreak of any kind was deemed enough of a threat to warrant such a move.
“This is what’s going to happen globally if we don’t wake up,” Claudia warned. “I mean honestly, what else do you need to know?”

The woman continued, saying, “I don’t care if you believe in vaccines or not, if you believe they’re good and safe and have cured the fucking plague. I don’t care! What I want is to decide over my body, what goes into my body! If you want to get the vaccines, go right ahead knock yourself out. But, I want to decide whether I want that in my body and parents should be able to decide whether it goes into their children’s bodies.”
“We don’t have a lot of time,” Claudia accurately said to conclude her video. “Make your mind up today and fight for your rights.”
The seemingly prophetic YouTuber asked how the government could mandate something that carries the risk of death, especially for children.

Footage going viral on social media shows an entire section of a retail store stocked with only lawn chairs, as fallout from Biden’s supply chain breakdown grows more evident.
In the video, a person films inside a retail store where rows of empty shelving have been stocked with lawn chairs, unfolded presumably to take up more space.

“We are at the edge of the precipice,” reads a Twitter caption on the video. “The ‘pretending it’s fine’ aspect of the charade evokes a deep terror.”

The footage adds to alarming photos surfacing across America of barren retail and supermarket store shelves that are on par with images seen out of communist countries like Venezuela or Cuba.

The crisis prompted the hashtags #EmptyShelvesJoe and #BareShelvesBiden to <a href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/internet-mocks-bidens-supply-chain-breakdown-with-bareshelvesbiden-memes/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">trend at number 1</a> on Twitter last week.
Meanwhile, White House spokesperson Jen Psaki on Wednesday claimed the supply chain breakdown, inflation and rising prices were evidence America is prospering.
“More people have jobs, more people are buying goods, that’s increasing demand. That’s a good thing. At the same time, we know supply is low because we’re coming out of the pandemic,” Psaki <a href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/jen-psaki-says-empty-shelves-and-rising-prices-are-due-to-increasing-demand/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">told</a> CNN’s Jake Tapper.
The line is similar to one spouted by US Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, who told Tapper over the weekend the supply chain disruptions were a result of Biden’s successful economy.

Dave Chappelle Fans Face Off Against Netflix Employees Protesting Comedian’s Jokes About Trannies

Hundreds of Netflix employees staged a walkout Wednesday in protest of comedian Dave Chappelle, who made jokes about the transgender community in his latest special “The Closer.”
The walkout was announced shortly after Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos said he would not remove Chappelle’s special from the streaming platform.
Videos from the event outside the company’s offices in Los Angeles show confrontations between the protesters and Chappelle fans who showed up to simply say that “jokes are funny.”

One man who showed up to the anti-Chappelle demonstration had his “We Like Dave” signed stolen and was accosted by angry protesters.

The leaders of the walkout also used the anti-Chappelle walkout to release a predictable <a href="https://www.theverge.com/2021/10/18/22733098/netflix-trans-employees-demands-dave-chappelle-walkout" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">list of demands</a> to Netflix, including hiring “more trans and non-binary content executives,” and increasing “investment in trans and non-binary content.”

Sarandos eventually apologized to the trans mob Tuesday for not acknowledging their “pain and hurt” regarding his decision to keep Chappelle’s comedy special on the Netflix.
“I screwed up that internal communication,” Sarandos <a href="https://variety.com/2021/film/news/dave-chappelle-netflix-ted-sarandos-i-screwed-up-1235093098/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">told</a> Variety. “I did that, and I screwed it up in two ways. First and foremost, I should have led with a lot more humanity. Meaning, I had a group of employees who were definitely feeling pain and hurt from a decision we made. And I think that needs to be acknowledged up front before you get into the nuts and bolts of anything. I didn’t do that. That was uncharacteristic for me, and it was moving fast and we were trying to answer some really specific questions that were floating. We landed with some things that were much more blanket and matter-of-fact that are not at all accurate.”
Chappelle poked fun at the trans community and cancel culture throughout his special, but wrapped it up with an important message that jokes are jokes and everyone should be laughing together.
