Facebook Inc's oversight board, a body set up by the social network to give independent verdicts on a small number of thorny content decisions, said on Monday it would meet with former employee and whistleblower Frances Haugen in the coming weeks.
Haugen revealed last week she was the person who provided documents used in a Wall Street Journal investigation and a Senate hearing on Instagram's harm to teenage girls.

Los Angeles:
A small plane crashed into a residential area of a California city on Monday, killing at least two people as a blaze devoured two houses and several vehicles.
Aerial footage showed firefighters hosing down the charred remains of the residences in Santee, a suburb of San Diego.
A burned out delivery truck was also seen on a nearby street corner.
Fox 5 San Diego reported the plane was a twin-engine Cessna 340, a six-seat aircraft that had departed from Yuma, Arizona an hour earlier.
There was no sign of the plane's remains from the aerial footage.
Fire official Justin Matsushita said at least two people had died in the incident.
"It's a pretty brutal scene for our guys and we're trying to comb through it," he told reporters.
Neighbours spoke of the whine of a falling plane followed by a loud "boom" as it crashed.
Several of them recounted how they had rushed towards the burning buildings, where they had helped people with burns to get out.
One woman said she had seen the body of the delivery driver.
The official account of Santee city said two people had been hurt.
"At approximately 12:00 pm today, a small twin engine plane crashed into two residential homes in Santee," tweeted @CityofSantee.
"A delivery truck and a fire hydrant were also struck. It is unknown at this time how many occupants were in the plane.
"We currently know of two burn victims and possible fatalities."
The nearby Santana High School tweeted that all of its students were safe.
"All Students are Secure. There was a plane crash 2 or 3 blocks away," the @SantanaSultans account wrote.
Last month two US military pilots were hospitalized after their training jet crashed into the backyard of a residence in a neighborhood near Fort Worth, Texas.

Moscow:
Russia, France and Germany said Monday that their foreign ministers could soon meet to discuss the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine.
Moscow said President Vladimir Putin, his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel instructed the ministers to work towards a meeting during a joint telephone call Monday.
According to the Kremlin, it would take place within the framework of the "Normandy Four" -- which usually brings together officials from Moscow and Kiev under the mediation of Paris and Berlin.
The Kremlin did not say in its statement if Ukraine would take part in the meeting.
However France's presidency said that it should involve Ukraine.
The presidency also said in a statement that Macron and Merkel held a phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky before speaking to Putin.
Merkel's spokesman Steffen Seibert also confirmed the plans for the meeting, for which a date has not yet been set.
The Kremlin said the leaders had instructed their foreign ministers to "intensify their contacts and work" after an "difficult" situation in eastern Ukraine.
The leaders also agreed to consider organising a summit, the Russian and German statements said.
During the phone call, Putin accused the Kiev authorities of "stubbornly evading" fulfilling agreements reached at peace talks.
France and Germany have been mediators in the conflict between Kiev and pro-Moscow separatists since 2015 in the so-called Normandy format and have been overseeing a fragile ceasefire.
Angela Merkel visited both Moscow and Kiev in August.
Afterwards, she then expressed her hope that peace talks on the conflict between Kiev and pro-Russia separatists would continue after she left power.
The Ukrainian army is locked in a simmering conflict with breakaway fighters in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions that erupted after Russia annexed the Crimean peninsula in 2014.
The conflict has claimed more than 13,000 lives.
Ukraine and its Western allies accuse Russia of sending troops and arms to support the separatists, which Moscow denies.
The European Union on Monday imposed sanctions on eight more officials accused of targeting opponents of Russia's seizure of Crimea, ahead of a visit to Kiev by the bloc's top officials.

Riyadh:
Saudi Arabia seeks to attract foreign investment of more than $100 billion annually under a National Investment Strategy announced Monday as part of efforts to diversify the oil-dependent economy.
The strategy is expected to raise annual foreign direct investment flows to 388 billion riyals ($103 billion) and increase annual domestic investment to 1.7 trillion riyals by 2030, the Saudi Press Agency said after Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the kingdom's de facto ruler, launched the initiative.
SPA said it will be "a key enabler" of his Vision 2030 plan, announced in 2016 to diversify the economy of the world's biggest oil exporter.
"Today, the kingdom embarks on a new investment era to empower Saudi and international private-sector investors with more and better opportunities," SPA quoted Prince Mohammed as saying.
He added that "the NIS will draw up comprehensive investment plans for sectors, including manufacturing, renewable energy, transport and logistics, tourism, digital infrastructure, and health care," SPA said.
Among its measures the strategy is to establish special economic zones with competitive regulations and incentives, transfer strategic supply chains to the kingdom, and develop new financing solutions for the private sector to promote capital formation, according to SPA.
The Arab world's largest economy is trying to shed its reputation as an ultraconservative nation with complicated administrative procedures and obsolete regulations.
Since becoming de facto leader in 2017, Prince Mohammed has introduced sweeping economic and social changes, including allowing women to drive, the reopening of cinemas, and permitting mixed-gender music concerts and other entertainment options.
But simultaneously, the prince launched a sweeping crackdown on dissent and free speech, arresting women activists, clerics and journalists as well as royal family members.
Measures such as those announced Monday have already been taken by other Gulf countries, particularly the United Arab Emirates.

Frankfurt, Germany:
German rail operator Deutsche Bahn and industrial group Siemens on Monday unveiled the world's first automated, driverless train in the city of Hamburg, billing it as more punctual and energy efficient than traditional trains.
Four such trains will join the northern city's S-Bahn rapid urban rail network and start carrying passengers from December, using the existing rail infrastructure.
Other cities like Paris have driverless metros while airports often have automated monorail trains plying terminals, but those run on exclusive single tracks while the Hamburg train will be sharing tracks with other regular trains.
The project, which Siemens and Deutsche Bahn called a "world first", is part of a 60 million euro ($70 million) modernisation of Hamburg's rapid urban rail system.
Deutsche Bahn CEO Richard Lutz said automated trains offer "a more reliable" service "without having to lay a single kilometre of new track".
"We are making rail transport more intelligent," said Siemens CEO Roland Busch, estimating that automated trains can transport "up to 30 percent more passengers, significantly improve punctuality and save more than 30 percent energy".
Although the train is controlled through digital technology and fully automated, a driver will still be present to supervise journeys whenever there are passengers on board, the companies said in a statement.

During the appointment, all members of the party including the two children were “accidentally” given full adult does of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, according to the family’s lawyer. The children, four and five years old, were born in 2016 and 2017, as revealed by the vaccination cards provided to the family by Walgreens.
After the alleged vaccine mix up, both children are now experiencing signs of “heart issues,” according to their pediatrician. The younger child is sick with a cough and fever, according to the<a href="https://www.kwtx.com/2021/10/08/attorney-covid-vaccine-given-family-including-small-kids-instead-flu-shots/"> report</a> by KWTX.
Myocarditis, a heart condition involving fluid accumulating near the heart, has been found to be a rare side effect of the Pfizer vaccine but seems to grow more common in younger male individuals. Adverse reactions to the vaccines<a href="https://nationalfile.com/joe-rogan-is-right-science-shows-young-people-have-mild-covid-symptoms-worse-vaccine-symptoms-than-elderly/"> seem to become far less likely</a> the older the person who receives it becomes, according to current medical research.
“The family said they left the pharmacy thinking they had received their flu shots, but a Walgreens employee later called them and said they had made a mistake. The local news agency attempted to get comment from Walgreens regarding the matter, but has not received a response. This comes as the pharmaceutical giant Pfizer is seeking to gain FDA emergency use authorization to vaccinate children ages 5-11, according to multiple <a href="https://www.reuters.com/world/us/pfizer-biontech-ask-us-regulators-ok-covid-19-vaccine-kids-2021-10-07/">reports</a>.
As <a href="https://nationalfile.com/cdc-data-shows-suicide-overdose-flu-all-kill-more-children-than-covid-19/">National File reported</a>, a recently-released CDC <a href="https://data.cdc.gov/NCHS/Provisional-COVID-19-Death-Counts-by-Age-in-Years-/3apk-4u4f">data set</a> detailing provisional COVID deaths by age from January 1st, 2020 to September 15th, 2021 appear to show that less child deaths were linked to COVID in that time-frame than would have died from the flu in a typical year.
