Cop Who Raped and Strangled Woman Used COVID Lockdown Rules to Abduct Her

The British government has been accused of trying to bypass Parliament in an effort to implement vaccine passports via the backdoor, with the scheme under review AGAIN despite assurances it wasn’t being considered.
As we <a href="https://summit.news/2021/09/13/uk-government-says-vaccine-passports-integral-to-covid-winter-plan-day-after-they-were-supposedly-scrapped/">highlighted</a> earlier this month, just a day after health secretary Sajid Javid asserted that the system had been scrapped, the government announced that vaccine passports would form an ‘integral’ part of its winter response to COVID if cases and hospitalizations rose.
Under the government’s ‘Plan B’, vaccine passports will form a “first-line defence” against a winter wave of COVID, despite their widespread use in Israel having proven to have zero impact on minimizing COVID cases.
Aware that it may struggle to get a vaccine passport system through a Parliamentary vote, the government is now launching a ‘public consultation’ in an attempt to enlist support for the scheme.
“The plans seemed to have been put on the backburner but on Monday night the Government launched a consultation, asking the public for views on the use of vaccine passports this autumn and winter if Covid-19 cases threaten to overwhelm the NHS,” reports <a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2021/09/27/vaccine-passports-indoor-outdoor-venues-could-mandatory-winter/?li_source=LI&li_medium=liftigniter-rhr">the Telegraph</a>.
“The Plan B proposals also open the door to the number of venues being widened beyond nightclubs, music venues, outdoor festivals, concerts and sports events.”
With the government refusing to commit to a vote, many respondents saw the move as the start of an effort to sidestep Parliament.

The utter stupidity of the scheme is proven by the fact that it will eliminate the option to provide a negative test to enter any of the venues.
In other words, proving that you don’t have the virus won’t be good enough to gain entry, but proving you’ve complied and taken a vaccine with dodgy efficacy that means you could still be carrying the virus anyway will be good enough to gain entry.
The government has consistently lied to the public about its intentions regarding vaccine passports, initially claiming they weren’t being considered while funding their creation, then announcing they’d be introduced at the end of September, then backtracking, and now they’re back on the agenda again.

GoFundMe has removed a page that sought to raise funds for two Arizona State University students who appeared in a viral video which showed them being harassed for being white.
The video clip shows the students being asked to leave the school’s multicultural center because of their skin color and because one of them had a sticker on his laptop expressing support for police.
“You’re making this space uncomfortable,” the students were told.
After they insisted that the space was a “multicultural” center, they were informed in no uncertain terms that “multiculturalism” means no white people.
“But you’re white! Do you understand what a multicultural space is? It means you’re not being centered,” one of the female students claimed.

One of the white students protested that “white” was part of multiculturalism.
“No! White is not a culture!…This white man thinks he can take up our space and this is why we need a multicultural space because they think they can get away with this shit!” the female student screeched.
“This is the only space that you’re not centered and you’re still trying to center yourself which is peak white cis male bullshit!”
The white students were eventually made to leave, prompting Rep. Paul Gosar to assert that the incident represented a “racist attack on these peaceful students sitting at a study table minding their business” and should be investigated.

However, when a GoFundMe page was set up to support the victims, the notoriously biased fundraising platform banned it and claimed that the page violated its “prohibited conduct policy” which forbids content “in support of hate, violence, harassment, bullying, discrimination, terrorism, or intolerance of any kind.”
This despite the fact that it was clearly the white students who were the victims of hate, bullying, harassment and intolerance.

“GoFundMe has removed my campaign to raise funds for the two hero students at ASU who were viciously attacked for being white,” the Libs of Tik Tok account tweeted after over $3,000 dollars had been raised.
The lesson appears to be that if you’re white, expect to receive racist harassment and then if you complain about it, expect to be further demonized for the very behavior you were the victim of.
This is yet more proof that the only form of ‘systemic racism’ that still exists is racism against white people.

North Carolina Hospital Caught Plotting To Inflate COVID Numbers Fires 175 Employees For Refusing Vaccine

On Monday, the North Carolina-based Novant Health hospital system announced that more than 175 of its workers have been fired after refusing to comply with a COVID-19 vaccine mandate. The mass-firings took place across 15 hospitals and more than 800 clinics.
About 375 Novant Health employees across 15 hospitals, 800 clinics and hundreds of outpatient facilities were non-compliant with the program were suspended last week over non-compliance. Those employees were given a five-day period to comply or be faced with termination.
“If a team member remains non-compliant after this five-day suspension period, he or she will have their employment with Novant Health terminated,” a <a href="https://www.nbc12.com/2021/09/28/north-carolina-health-care-system-terminates-more-than-100-employees-being-unvaccinated-against-covid-19/?outputType=apps">statement</a> read.  Ultimately, about 175 employees opted not to be coerced into vaccination and were fired. After the compliance of the other 200-plus workers, Novant Health boasted that their vaccination rate was now over 99%. Novant Health employs over 35,000 workers all together.
Team members are considered compliant if they have received the single dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a first dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, or if they applied for, and were granted, a medical or religious exemption. Employees who have received one dose have until October 15 to get fully vaccinated in order to remain in compliance.
Similar measures are beginning to take place in other states. In New York, Governor Kathy Hochul will be <a href="https://nationalfile.com/new-york-deploys-national-guard-to-staff-hospitals-after-nurses-doctors-canned-over-vaccine-mandate-effective-tonight/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">deploying the National Guard</a> in order to fill upcoming critical staffing shortages after scores of unvaccinated workers are fired. On the federal level, Joe Biden announced that businesses with more than 100 employees would require a COVID vaccine mandate or be met with heavy fines in <a href="https://nationalfile.com/biden-to-force-employers-with-more-than-100-employees-to-mandate-vaccines-will-fine-resisters-heavily/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">a statement</a> earlier this month. He added that the choice to get vaccinated is <a href="https://nationalfile.com/breaking-biden-says-getting-vaccinated-is-not-about-freedom-or-personal-choice-and-insists-vaccine-is-safe-effective/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">“not about freedom or personal choice.”</a>
Novant Health previously made international news after National File <a href="https://nationalfile.com/doctor-wants-to-be-scary-to-the-public-and-inflate-covid-numbers-if-you-dont-get-vaccinated-you-know-youre-going-to-die/">published bombshell audio</a> that shows the hospital administrators discussing how they could inflate the number of total COVID-19 patients in order to be “scary” to the public and convince them to get one of the controversial COVID-19 vaccines. National File reported:

After the first speaker seems to answer a question about how COVID-19 patient counts are determined and shared with the public, MacDonald responds, “I guess my feeling at this point in time is, maybe we need to be completely a little bit more scary to the public.” She then introduces her idea to inflate the total number of COVID-19 patients by counting patients who recovered. “There are many people still hospitalized that we’re considering post-COVID, but they’re not counted in those numbers,” Rudyk explains, “So how do we include those post-COVID people in the numbers of the patients we have in the hospital?”
“So I just want to say we have to be more blunt, we have to be more forceful, we have to see something coming out: ‘If you don’t get vaccinated, you know you’re going to die,’” Rudyk said, laughing. “I mean let’s just be really blunt with these people.”
Since the video surfaced on social media, the hospital has <a href="https://www.wect.com/2021/09/10/novant-health-issues-statement-leaked-internal-discussion-covid-19-patient-numbers/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">released a statement</a> claiming that the “team members involved” in the meeting are stressed and frustrated that more people are not taking one of the controversial vaccines. However, the hospital clarified that Rudyk’s suggestion was not taken: “The data we have been sharing does not include patients who remain hospitalized for COVID-19 complications even though they are no longer COVID positive.” However, the hospital then suggests it may start inflating its count, as Rudyk suggested, “it does not provide a complete picture,” the hospital noted.

If you’re like me, you’re probably easily fed up with the weather forecast. It’s often wrong or shows me what I don’t want to see.
I’m here to tell you that there’s a better forecast out there — a forecast for birds.
Called <a href="https://birdcast.info/">BirdCast</a>, the forecast provides a three-day outlook of how many birds will be flying overhead across the country — and where. After sunset on Tuesday, for example, BirdCast estimates that 74,000 of them will journey through the skies of New York City. The tool, which was developed by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and a handful of other universities, also shows where large numbers of birds are cruising through the sky <a href="https://birdcast.info/migration-tools/live-migration-maps/">in close to real time</a>. In other words: It’s radar, but for birds.
This kind of predictive technology is especially useful as fall migration nears its peak in North America. Each autumn, billions of migratory birds travel south in search of food and warmer weather, some flying several thousand miles. The famous Arctic tern makes an epic journey of <a href="https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Arctic_Tern/overview">more than 12,000 miles</a> from the Arctic to Antarctica — a distance that surpasses the world’s longest nonstop commercial flight.
Migration offers something of a fleeting backyard paradise even to novice birdwatchers. You can see all kinds of unique species in your local patch of green as they’re passing through, such as warblers, thrushes, and sparrows in New York City’s Central Park. Forecasting maps like BirdCast help by revealing migration hot spots, from southern Texas to the Great Lakes region.
These tools are also a boon for birds. Hundreds of millions of them die each year from colliding with windows, and disorienting lights are a big part of the problem. Forecasts can help cities pinpoint when to turn off the lights, allowing more of the winged passersby safe passage.

Our ability to map and forecast birds is rooted, like so many innovations, in war. Engineers developed radar technology during World War II to detect enemy aircraft, which basically involves broadcasting microwaves and seeing what they bounce off of — not unlike how a bat might use sonar to map out a dark cave. During the war, radar operators began noticing strange dots — known as “<a href="https://drdavidclarke.co.uk/radar-uaps/radar-angels/">angels</a>” — appearing on their screens. The operators, some of whom were birders, eventually figured out that the dots weren’t bomb-carrying planes at all. They were birds.
The discovery sparked a revolution in ornithology. In the eight decades since, scientists have used radar technology to detect birds and swarms of insects in the night sky, just as meteorologists have <a href="https://birdcast.info/about/weather-surveillance-radar-and-bird-migration-primer/">used it to map out hurricanes and rainstorms</a>. More recently, major advances in computing have made it easier to process large amounts of data, allowing scientists to put together detailed migration forecasts in a short period, said Andrew Farnsworth, a senior research associate at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, who leads the BirdCast project. We’re now in the era of radar ornithology, he said.

First launched in 2000, BirdCast runs on software that analyzes weather radar to discern what’s a bird versus a cloud or another object. That analysis produces a map of the US that shows where birds are migrating in the sky, like the one above, with warmer (oranger) regions showing where there’s more bird traffic — that is, more birds moving through an area at a given time. Pretty neat, right?
BirdCast also produces three-day forecasts, which estimate nighttime movements because the vast majority of North American birds migrate after dark. Researchers have a good idea of how weather affects their journeys — temperature, which affects the speed and direction of wind, is especially important for determining when birds travel, Farnsworth said. By leveraging weather forecasts, BirdCast estimates where birds might migrate in the near future. You can use these maps to go birdwatching, though keep in mind that they show the number of birds in the sky — not on the ground — and that the forecast is for nighttime migration. Where the predictive power really comes into play is in helping cities, big and small, reduce the number of birds that die from smashing into buildings.
Each year in the US, between 365 million and 988 million birds die from running into buildings, researchers <a href="https://www.pnas.org/content/118/24/e2101666118#:~:text=Using%20two%20decades%20of%20collision,important%20predictors%20of%20fatal%20collisions.">estimate</a>. It’s the second-leading cause of avian death in North America after predation by house cats, and light pollution is a big part of the problem. Lights can attract and disorient birds, causing them to crash.
That’s what makes bird forecasts so useful: When we know a large number of birds are set to pass through a particular region, it’s clear that we can prevent strikes by turning off at least some of the lights in buildings at night. It’s really that simple — and we know it works.
One study <a href="https://www.pnas.org/content/118/24/e2101666118#:~:text=Using%20two%20decades%20of%20collision,important%20predictors%20of%20fatal%20collisions.">published this summer</a>, for example, found that halving the area of windows that are illuminated at a large convention center in Chicago during spring migration led to 11 times fewer collisions. The authors further concluded that dimming lights during migration could reduce the number of collisions at the center by about 60 percent. You rarely come across wins of that magnitude in conservation — and literally overnight, at that.

Across the US, more than 40 cities now have <a href="https://www.audubon.org/conservation/existing-lights-out-programs">Lights Out programs</a>, and some, <a href="https://www.audubon.org/news/new-york-city-passes-landmark-bill-make-more-buildings-bird-friendly">including New York</a>, have passed <a href="https://abcbirds.org/glass-collisions/existing-ordinances/">legislation</a> requiring that buildings be more bird-friendly — such as by using glass with patterns that make windows more visible to birds. BirdCast, for its part, has a <a href="https://aeroecolab.com/uslights">feature</a> called “lights out alerts” (shown above) that can help cities figure out when to go dark.
Similarly, researchers have proposed using forecasts to help reduce bird strikes at airports, which cause <a href="https://besjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/1365-2664.13971">more than $1 billion</a> in damage each year globally. In <a href="https://besjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/1365-2664.13971">one</a> recent study, scientists analyzed plane-bird collisions at three New York City airports and found that weather radar can “accurately predict the probability of bird strikes.” Theoretically, airports could use that information to make flying safer and less costly.
Bird radar isn’t just useful for birdwatchers and collision prevention. It’s also helping scientists answer some of ornithology’s biggest questions, such as how climate change is affecting the timing of migration.
Results from a radar-based 2019 <a href="https://www.nature.com/articles/s41558-019-0648-9).">study</a>, for example, found that rising temperatures are shifting spring migration about two days earlier per decade in the US, on average. (The changes are much greater as you move farther north.) That may not sound like much, but migrations are carefully planned events where timing is a matter of life and death.
Birds have adapted to arrive at particular locations at particular times — for example, “when the pulses of spring insect blooms are peaking,” Farnsworth said. “With earlier rising temperatures, birds may arrive after the pulse of food availability, creating a growing mismatch. If this happens rapidly, bird populations may not be able to keep up.”
Researchers are also using radar to more closely investigate some of the unknowns of migration, like what happens to birds during a big thunderstorm or when wind patterns suddenly change. They previously thought storms might bring migration to a halt, Farnsworth said, but radar suggests otherwise. “The thought that rain automatically stops migration is totally wrong,” he said. “Birds are moving in all kinds of conditions.”
Yet despite all of the advances in radar ornithology, one major mystery remains largely unsolved. How do birds navigate, anyway? I still get turned around in my hometown, so it’s hard to imagine that birds can travel thousands of miles to a destination they’ve never seen or visited. To pull off such a feat, they likely use some combination of the sun, <a href="https://www.vox.com/22538268/animal-navigation-starlight-emlen-planetarium-experiments">the stars</a>, Earth’s magnetic field, and possibly even their sense of smell. But exactly how they piece all that information together to navigate is “a total mystery,” Farnsworth said. “I don’t think we’re anywhere near beginning to understand it.”

Washington:
U.S. General Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, fended off perhaps the most personal and direct attacks from lawmakers of his career on Tuesday as Republicans blasted his calls with China and his interviews for books critical of Donald Trump's presidency.
Milley, 63, was unshaken as Republicans called for his resignation during an already contentious hearing that was meant to focus on the chaotic U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan - but repeatedly swerved into questions regarding the general.
When asked, Milley acknowledged talking to Washington Post author Bob Woodward for a book that showcased Milley's role trying to avert a crisis over apparent Chinese fears that Trump might attack Beijing in his final months in office.
The book detailed supposedly "secret" calls with General Li Zuocheng of the People's Liberation Army on Oct. 30, 2020 and again on Jan. 8, and said Milley had promised to warn China first if he were ordered to attack.
Milley confirmed the calls but said they were not secret to U.S. government officials and that he was acting on instructions from some of Trump's top aides to de-escalate tensions. He acknowledged trying to send a message that "we are not going to attack you" following U.S. intelligence indicating Beijing feared an attack.
Republican Senator Dan Sullivan challenged Milley, insinuating he would be executed for that kind of behavior in China.
"If the head of the PLA called you and said, 'Hey, we're getting ready to invade Taiwan' and (Chinese President) Xi Jinping found out about it, he'd be shot," Sullivan said, referring to China's People's Liberation Army.
Milley said the calls were part of his mandate to ensure strategic stability.
"I know, I am certain, President Trump did not intend on attacking the Chinese and it is my directed responsibility to convey presidential orders and intent," Milley told the Senate Armed Services Committee.
Trump, who has said Milley should be fired if the acounts were true, issued a statement after the hearing ridiculing the Army general.
"No wonder the Afghanistan withdrawal was such a disaster. 'General' Milley spent all of his time talking to these Fake Book writers," Trump said.
Senator Angus King, an independent committee member who caucuses with Democrats, praised Milley. "I think he was rendering the country a significant service," King told reporters on a conference call after the hearing.
The committee's Democratic chairman, Senator Jack Reed, also told reporters that de-escalating international tensions was part of Milley's job.
'HE'S CRAZY'
Milley acknowledged that he also spoke on Jan. 8 with U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who, according to the Washington Post, had asked the general what safeguards were in place to prevent an "unstable president" from launching a nuclear strike.
"He's crazy. You know he's crazy," Pelosi told Milley, the newspaper reported, citing a transcript of the call.
Milley, in his remarks to Congress, said Pelosi had asked him on Jan. 8 about whether Trump's actions might lead to an accidental nuclear missile launch.
He responded by assuring her of safeguards and added: "I am not qualified to determine the mental health of the President of the United States."
Milley told the Armed Services Committee: "At no time was I attempting to change or influence the process, usurp authority, or insert myself into the chain of command."
President Joe Biden has supported Milley throughout the controversy surrounding the calls, saying he had "great confidence" in him.
But it is not the first time the top U.S. military officer has been caught in the spotlight. Last year, Milley caused an uproar after accompanying Trump toward a church for a photo opportunity just after authorities cracked down on civil rights protesters.
He later said he regretted it, saying the incident created a perception of the military involved in domestic politics.
In one exchange on Tuesday, Milley acknowledged also speaking with two other sets of book authors. Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn lashed out at him.
"In order to get your name in a book... all you have managed to do is to politicize the U.S. military, to downgrade our reputation with our allies," Blackburn said.
