PJW Live: Winter ‘COVID Surge’ Required For New Lockdown

The British government has claimed that it intends to send private security contractors to knock on the doors of anyone returning from holidays to make sure they are quarantining upon their return, as required by law.
Home Secretary Priti Patel <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9597685/Priti-Patel-reveals-plans-10-000-quarantine-checks-day.html">announced Wednesday</a> that those returning from destinations that have not been added to the government’s ‘green list’ should expect to be checked on at their homes.
The warning comes after the government lifted international travel restrictions on Monday, allowing people to go on holiday, but with extensive caveats.
Patel claimed that 10,000 checks will be conducted every day by private contractors hired <a href="https://www.mitie.com/all-services/security-fire/?filter-service=security-and-fire&filter-search=">via the firm Mitie</a>, and if people are found to be flouting quarantine or acting noncompliant, police will be called to deal with them, with the authorisation to issue fines of up to £10,000.
The government has decreed that a negative PCR test and ten day quarantine is required for anyone returning from countries it has not deemed to be completely safe to visit, including the popular destinations of The U.S., France, Spain and Greece.
Those returning will then have to take a further two PCR tests (at their own expense) and test negative to be allowed out of their houses after the ten day period.
“People will not go unchecked,” Patel threatened. adding “Significant resources have been put in place – millions of pounds – in terms of the follow-up checking of people around their testing and making sure they stay at home. It has been stepped up.”
Discouraging travel to so called ‘amber list’ countries, Transport Secretary Grant Shapps <a href="https://news.sky.com/story/covid-19-travel-expect-knock-on-the-door-when-you-return-from-amber-countries-priti-patel-warns-12311649">told Sky News</a> Thursday that “You’ve got to quarantine. People will come to your house to check your quarantine. It’s expensive. We’re not at the stage of saying to people, go to those places on holiday. Please don’t.”
Health Secretary Matt Hancock also claimed that the door to door checks are already underway, with 30,000 being conducted last week.
Boris Johnson told MPs yesterday that visits to medium-risk destinations are only acceptable in ‘extreme circumstances’. 
The announcement came after millions of people had already booked trips to the destinations, and in many cases have already arrived there, prompting fury from travellers, airlines and booking agents.
Julia Lo Bue-Said, of Advantage Travel Partnership described the government’s actions as “typical nanny state tactics.”
She added “Surely the British public can make up their own mind if they wish to quarantine in order to visit an amber country. As long as protocols are followed, testing is in place and rules in the destination are adhered to we see no reason why we cannot be allowed to travel safely to amber destinations for leisure. Otherwise, make those amber countries red.”
In related news, it has been revealed that UK ‘Covid passports’ officially rolled out for use during international travel <a href="https://summit.news/2021/05/20/privacy-watchdog-uk-covid-passport-small-print-says-it-will-be-used-domestically/">will eventually be used domestically</a> to restrict the movement of the population, according to the small print on the NHS website.

Poll Finds Vaccinated Americans Significantly More Likely to Dump Their Friends Over Stance on COVID-19 Jab

Senator Elizabeth Warren is demanding Amazon censor best-selling books because they contain information that challenges the official narrative on coronavirus.
Warren wrote a <a href="https://docs.reclaimthenet.org/2021.9.7-Letter-to-Amazon-on-COVID-Misinformation.pdf">letter</a> asserting that Amazon was complicit in spreading “COVID-19 misinformation” because it allows people to buy books authored by people like Dr. Joseph Mercola, who has been targeted by the mainstream media as a purveyor of “dangerous” fake news about COVID and vaccines.
“During the week of August 22, 2021, my staff conducted sample searches on Amazon.com of pandemic-related terms such as ‘COVID-19,’ ‘COVID,’ ‘vaccine,’ ‘COVID 19 vaccine,’ and ‘pandemic,’” Sen. Warren wrote in a letter addressed to Amazon’s CEO Andy Jassy. “The top results consistently included highly-ranked and favorably-tagged books based on falsehoods about COVID-19 vaccines and cures.”
Of course, the claim that these are “falsehoods” is a completely arbitrary assertion made by Warren and her staff, with no objective standard of proof required.
Mercola was again singled out for condemnation.

“[Dr. Mercola] has posted over 600 articles on Facebook casting doubt on COVID-19 vaccines and been subject to multiple federal investigations (with one false- advertising investigation leading to a $2.95 million consumer settlement). But Amazon’s algorithms promoted ‘The Truth About COVID-19’ as a best seller and top result in response to common pandemic-related search terms,” Warren wrote.

As Cindy Harper <a href="https://reclaimthenet.org/senator-elizabeth-warren-questions-amazon-demands-censorship/">highlights</a>, Warren’s efforts to have Amazon ban books follows a similar effort by Rep. Adam Schiff, who claimed that 10 per cent of Amazon search results related to vaccines returned “misinformation” (a description again solely determined by Schiff and his staff).
At what point did we enter an era where the very thing that drove scientific progress for hundreds of years – challenging the official orthodoxy – is now treated as heresy?
Putting people on lists with terrorists and sex traffickers before deplatforming them from social media sites is not enough.
Erasing information published by actual doctors and scientific experts that dares to question the ever-shifting goalposts of what “the science” says is also insufficient.
Now the digital book burnings must begin.

California County Sheriff: “I Will Not Enforce Vaccine Mandate”

A Sheriff in <a href="https://www.theepochtimes.com/t-california">California</a> said on Monday that he will not force department employees or job applicants to be vaccinated against <a href="https://www.theepochtimes.com/t-covid-19">COVID-19</a>, despite a state public health order mandating workers in “high-risk congregate settings” such as jails get vaccinations or are tested regularly.
In a <a href="https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1589024961489358">video podcast</a> posted to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s Facebook page on Sept. 10, County Sheriff Chad Bianco had previously stated that he would not be mandating new or current employees of the sheriff’s department to have the COVID-19 vaccine, but maintained that he himself was “not an anti-vaxxer.”

“I’m not anti-vax, I’m anti-vax for Chad but that doesn’t mean that I’m anti-vax for someone else that feels they may need it, or that does need it, for high-risk categories, or even if it just makes you feel better,” Bianco said.

“A lot of department heads, different law enforcement agencies are coming up with policies or things like that, and as far as I’m concerned, I will not mandate a vaccine for our employees, we will not make it mandatory for any new employee to be vaccinated or current ones,” he continued.

Following the podcast, Bianco shared a <a href="https://www.facebook.com/ChadBiancoForSheriff2022/photos/a.605883082803662/4448075905251008/">statement</a> on Sept. 13 in which he claimed that a local newspaper was set to publish a story about the podcast and an unnamed reporter had “cherry-picked statements from supposed health experts in an attempt to paint me … in a negative light.”
Bianco reiterated his position regarding vaccinations and what he described as “tyrannical government overreach,” noting that it is his constitutional duty and responsibility to protect the public. He added that the soon-to-be-published article was “nothing but sensationalism trying to gain readership and further divide us as Americans.”

“Over the past couple of weeks, the idea of forced vaccination has caused much concern across the entire country,” Bianco said in Monday’s statement.
“To repeat the context of the podcast, I will not enforce the vaccine mandate on Sheriff’s Department employees.”

“I am certainly not anti-vaccine. I am anti-vaccine for me. That decision should be made in consultation with your doctor after discussing the potential benefit and the potential negative side effects.”

“It is time our government and our politicians come to the realization that the only reason they exist is because ‘we the people’ formed our government to secure the blessings of individual liberty and freedom,” Bianco added.

The state of <a href="https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC/Pages/COVID-19/Order-of-the-State-Public-Health-Officer-Unvaccinated-Workers-In-High-Risk-Settings.aspx?TSPD_101_R0=087ed344cfab200090f91c082bbd756425c5e2aecdaf1c5f873691ec66e40d11ff8e04ad18e29ea00866a8255d14300039f8c06f8c3002617d669e2eeeac338c2d96087ff38643ed95512cf7b2835a8d1c48b1ce19d76c3b8bfd03875993827a">California has mandated</a> that those working in “high-risk congregate settings” such as state and local correctional facilities and detention centers, get vaccinated or submit to twice-a-week COVID-19 testing. It also applies to health care workers and employees of nursing homes and the state gave employees until Aug. 23 to comply.
Bianco’s comments come shortly after President Joe Biden issued sweeping new federal vaccine requirements that could affect as many as 100 million Americans.
Biden last Thursday announced he will <a href="https://www.theepochtimes.com/biden-plans-covid-19-vaccine-mandate-for-80-million-private-sector-workers_3990110.html">direct the Department of Labor</a> to develop a rule that companies with more than 100 employees will require vaccinations or once-per-week testing for their workers, potentially affecting tens of millions of U.S. private-sector employees and health care workers.

Former President Donald Trump reacted to reports from Bob Woodward’s book “Peril” that Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley <a href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/treason-report-gen-milley-sabotaged-trump-warned-china-of-military-action-seized-control-of-nuclear-weapons/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">secretly informed China he would give them advanced notice</a> if America mobilized an attack.

“I’ve had so many calls today saying, ‘That’s treason,'” Trump continued. “For him to say that I was going to attack China is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard, and everybody knows it.”
“I have to tell you, I don’t know if they have him on tape saying this, but I found Woodward and I found his cohorts to be extremely dishonorable people,” Trump noted. “I did not ever think of attacking China.”
“For him to say that I would even think about attacking China, I think he’s trying to just get out of his incompetent withdrawal out of Afghanistan,” the 45th President claimed.
“The worst, the dumbest thing that anybody’s seen, probably the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to our country. They killed our soldiers, we left with embarrassment on our face, we left Americans behind, and we left $85 billion dollars worth of the best equipment in the world, that I bought, because I rebuilt the military, and then Biden gave it away,” he added.
