<p>The Taliban government in Afghanistan would accept any Afghan migrants whose applications for asylum were rejected in Europe and they would then face court, an Austrian newspaper quoted a Taliban spokesman as saying on Monday.</p>
<p>Austria's conservative-led government has taken a hard line on Afghan asylum seekers and refugees within the European Union, with the interior minister initially saying Austria should keep deporting rejected asylum seekers back to Afghanistan for as long as possible.</p>
<p>Austrian Interior Minister Karl Nehammer has since conceded that that is no longer possible, but said he wants "deportation centres" set up in neighbouring countries that would take them in.</p>
<p>Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid told the Kronen Zeitung newspaper that his government would be willing to accept such deportees.</p>
<p>"Yes. They would be taken to court. The court would then have to decide how to proceed with them," Zabihullah told the newspaper when asked if it would take in Afghan asylum seekers in Germany or Austria whose asylum claims had been rejected or who had committed crimes in those European countries.</p>
<p>He did not elaborate on why they should be taken to court or what judgement they might face there.</p>
<p>He also repeated his government's pledge to respect the rights of women within the framework of Islamic law, or Sharia.</p>
<p>"We will secure all rights that women are entitled to under Sharia," Zabihullah said.</p>
<p>"We will grant women Islamic rights, enable education and create conditions for work. We are in the process of putting all that in place."</p>

<p>Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau plunged back into campaigning on Monday after groups of unusually vocal and abusive protesters disrupted his weekend election rallies, at one point forcing him to cancel an event.</p>
<p>Trudeau, whose ruling Liberals are in a neck-and-neck race with their Conservative rivals ahead of the Sept. 20 vote, spoke to media in the Quebec town of Granby on Monday but did not refer to the unrest over the weekend.</p>
<p>In scenes rarely seen in Canada during federal campaigns, demonstrators in the Ontario towns of Bolton and Cambridge shouted death threats and screamed profane abuse at Trudeau, many referring to the government's push for people to get vaccinated against COVID-19.</p>
<p>Trudeau's team took the unusual decision to cancel an evening rally planned for near Bolton on Friday, saying the protests could endanger public safety. His announcement on Sunday of policies to combat climate change was in part drowned out by the crowd in Cambridge.</p>
<p>Trudeau, 49, is the son of former Liberal Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, who in the early 1980s was extremely unpopular in Western Canada over policies opposed by the energy industry, some provincial governments and many Western Canadians.</p>
<p>"I've never seen this intensity of anger on the campaign trail or in Canada, not when I was a kid, even with my dad visiting out West, where we did see anger, certainly not in my last 12 years as a politician," he told reporters on Friday.</p>
<p>Trudeau's insistence that all Canadians get COVID-19 vaccinations has generated the same kind of anger among right-wing groups as in the United States.</p>
<p>"I'm not going to back down on a message that Canadians know is the right path forward," Trudeau, who has been in power since 2015, said on Sunday.</p>
<p>The Conservatives denounced the images and behavior on the campaign trail as disgusting and demanded they stop. That said, some of the people at the Bolton protest wore shirts identifying themselves as working for a Conservative legislator.</p>
<p>Dan Robertson, chief of strategy for Conservative leader Erin O'Toole, suggested the Liberals, who have a minority government that depends on opposition parties to pass legislation, might be seeking to benefit from the protests.</p>
<p>"It's not terribly difficult to re-jig a tour to avoid demonstrators (and) confrontations - if you wanted to," he tweeted on Monday.</p>

<p><strong>Tucker Carlson reacted to Oregon enacting a fresh mask mandate Wednesday, calling the move “ridiculous on every level, even if you ignore the science.”</strong></p>
<p>Oregon governor Kate Brown declared this week “Today, I’m announcing that effective Friday, August 27 masks will be required in all public outdoor settings or physical distancing is not possible regardless of vaccination status.”</p>
<p>Brown <a href="https://apnews.com/article/entertainment-music-health-oregon-coronavirus-pandemic-947bd5fe02d802978cf4318f5ab93e40">told reporters</a> “Masks are a quick and simple tool we can immediately deploy to protect ourselves and our families, and quickly help stop further spread of COVID-19.”</p>
<p>As Carlson notes, reporters also asked Brown if people should report their neighbours if they see them not complying with the mandate, to which the governor replied “this is no different than what happens if there’s a party down the street and it’s keeping everyone awake. What neighbors do, they call law enforcement because it’s too noisy.”</p>
<p>Carlson stated “None of the actual laws are being enforced, but the fake laws, not the ones passed by the legislature, the ones made up by the power-mad governor, will be enforced with guns.”</p>
<p>The host urged that “at this point, it’s almost pointless to apply the traditional measures of logic, reason, and data to decrees like that one.”</p>
<p>He added, “on every level, the order you just saw from Kate Brown is ridiculous, and yet. Thanks to COVID, as we noted, she is now God, so her orders are now the law and if you ignore them, you will go to jail.”</p>
<p>Carlson asked the question, “if the vaccines work, then why are vaccinated people required to wear masks? And for that matter, why is anyone required to wear a mask outdoors? Outdoor transmission of COVID is so rare that it’s practically non-existent.”</p>
<p>The host continued, “as a factual matter, Kate Brown’s order is absurd. But even if you ignored the science, even if you convinced yourself that large numbers of people were catching COVID while jogging, you still wouldn’t make people wear masks. Because drugstore masks, the kind that everyone wears, do not work. Cloth and surgical masks do not stop COVID. That’s not a guess. We know.”</p>

Afghanistan: A Tragically Stupid War Comes to a Tragic End

<p><strong>Sunday’s news reports that the Biden Administration mistakenly killed nine members of one Afghan family, including six children, in “retaliation” for last week’s suicide attack which killed 13 US servicemembers, is a sad and sick epitaph on the 20 year Afghanistan war.</strong></p>
<p>Promising to “get tough” on ISIS, which suddenly re-emerged to take responsibility for the suicide attack, the most expensive military and intelligence apparatus on earth appears to have gotten it wrong. Again.</p>
<p>Interventionists love to pretend they care about girls and women in Afghanistan, but it is in reality a desperate attempt to continue the 20-year US occupation. If we leave, they say, girls and women will be discriminated against by the Taliban.</p>
<p>It’s hard to imagine a discrimination worse than being incinerated by a drone strike, but these “collateral damage” attacks over the past 20 years have killed scores of civilians. Just like on Sunday.</p>
<p>That’s the worst part of this whole terrible war: day-after-day for twenty years civilians were killed because of the “noble” effort to re-make Afghanistan in the image of the United States. But the media and the warmongers who call the shots in government – and the “private” military-industrial sector – could not have cared less. Who recalls a single report on how many civilians were just “collateral damage” in the futile US war?</p>
<p>Sadly these children killed on Sunday, two of them reportedly just two years old, have been the ones forced to pay the price for a failed and bloody US foreign policy.</p>
<p>Yes, the whole exit from Afghanistan has been a debacle. Biden, but especially his military planners and incompetent advisors, deserves much of what has been piled onto him this past week or so about this incompetence.</p>
<p>Maybe if Biden’s Secretary of Defense and Joint Chiefs’ Chairman had spent a bit more time planning the Afghan exit and a lot less time obsessing on how to turn the US military into a laboratory for cultural Marxism, we might have actually had a workable plan.</p>

<p>We know that actual experts like Col. Douglas Macgregor did have a plan to get out that would have spared innocent lives. But because this decorated US Army veteran was “tainted” by his service in the previous administration – service that was solely focused on how to get out of Afghanistan safely – he would not be consulted by the Pentagon’s “woke” top military brass.</p>
<p>Trump also should share some of the blame currently being showered on Biden. He wanted to get out years ago, but never had the courage to stand up to the also incompetent generals and “experts” he foolishly hired to advise him.</p>
<p>Similarly, many conservatives (especially neoconservatives) are desperate to attack Biden not for how he got out of Afghanistan, but for the fact that he is getting us out of Afghanistan.</p>
<p>That tells you all you need to know about how profitable war is to the warmongers.</p>
<p>I’ve always said, “we just marched in, we can just march out,” and I stand by that view. Yes, you can “just march out” of these idiotic interventions…but you do need a map!</p>

Chaotic Scenes in Athens as Greeks Protest COVID Tyranny

<p><strong>On Sunday, protesters in Athens clashed with police against mandatory vaccination measures that go into effect on Sept. 1.</strong></p>
<p>Police estimate about 8,000 people attended the rally in Syntagma Square, the central square of Athens, chanting anti-vaxx slogans and demanding government officials reverse mandatory vaccinations for all health workers that begins Wednesday. </p>
<p>At least 47 were detained in yesterday’s demonstrations, police said in a statement Sunday evening, reported by local media <a href="https://www.iefimerida.gr/">Iefimerida</a>. </p>
<p>Police said unruly protesters “threw objects” at police, and riot control response teams had to use tear gas, stun grenades, and water cannons to disperse the crowd. </p>

<p>According to <a href="https://www.afp.com/en/news-hub">AFP</a>, the demonstrators held signs that read: “We are not against vaccines, but against fascism.” </p>
<p>For several weeks, Greeks have been angered and taken to the streets to protest mandatory vaccinations, vaccine passports, and other virus-related measures. </p>
<p>Event the largest industry union, Panhellenic Federation of Employees in Public Hospitals, released a statement earlier this month, indicating it was against mandatory vaccinations for hospital workers. </p>
<p>The rise in government control over the lives of people under the guise of COVID is absolutely terrifying and continues to spread worldwide. Businesses and the government are forcing mandatory vaccinations and health passports, creating a multi-tier society of those who are vaxxed and unvaxxed.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, businesses and the government are <a href="https://www.zerohedge.com/covid-19/ends-debate-israeli-study-shows-natural-immunity-13x-more-effective-vaccines-stopping?ao_status=skipped">entirely ignoring natural immunity</a>, which could be up to 13x more effective than vaccines. </p>
