Videos: Biden And Harris LAUGH At Reporters Asking About Afghanistan Mess

<p><strong>Both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were caught on camera Sunday laughing at reporters who asked uncomfortable questions about the debacle in Afghanistan, prompting critics to ask, what is in any way funny about the situation?</strong></p>
<p>Harris, who was AWOL for days after the fall of Kabul to the Taliban, is now in South Asia and was asked by reporters at an airport what the situation is with getting Americans out of Afghanistan.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Biden laughed when asked to respond to a <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/afghanistan-troop-removal-biden-approval-opinion-poll/">CBS News poll</a> that found most Americans do not believe he is “competent, focused or effective” after the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal.</p>

<p>The Capitol Police officer who fatally shot Ashli Babbitt outside a door of the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6 riot has been formally exonerated after an internal investigation, according to a department memo obtained by NBC News.</p>
<p>The officer, whose name has not been released, opened fire on Babbitt as she and a mob of other Trump supporters tried to forcefully enter the Capitol.</p>
<p>Video of the shooting showed Babbitt in front of a crowd of rioters trying to get through a door leading to where members of Congress were being evacuated on the House side of the building.</p>
<p>The Justice Department announced in April that no charges were being brought against the officer. The exoneration by the Capitol Police wraps up the last remaining investigation into the incident.</p>
<p>A memo from the commander of the Capitol Police’s Office of Personal Responsibility says “no further action will be taken in this matter” after the officer was exonerated for use of force.</p>

<p>Babbitt’s family attorney, Terry Roberts, on Saturday slammed the secretive investigation as a “sham.” </p>
<p>“I have seen nothing to confirm that an internal affairs investigation by the Capitol Police was done or has been completed,” Roberts said in a statement posted to Twitter. “But, if true, I challenge Capitol Police to release the detailed findings (if any) of its investigation.”</p>
<p>“It’s not enough to say that an officer did nothing wrong if it cannot demonstrate how it reached that conclusion,” he said. “I say release the findings to the public so we can determine for ourselves if the investigation was thorough, competent and fair. It wasn’t.”</p>
<p>Roberts continued: “I predict the Capitol Police will not release anything substantive because it would demonstrate it conducted a sham ‘investigation.’ A one-sided inquiry behind closed doors proves nothing, and it WAS NOT an ‘exoneration.’ The world has already seen citizens’ videos of the shooting and has reached a different conclusion – one which is far from clearing the officer.”</p>

<p>Most cops these days who shoot a random thug during the commission of a crime are ID’ed within 24 hours and <a href="https://www.informationliberation.com/?id=62181">subject to intense scrutiny — including death threats on social media — even in cases where their actions were clearly justified</a>. </p>
<p>For the feds to suggest this cop’s identity must be kept secret for his safety is just laughable!</p>
<p>Ashli Babbitt’s killer, <a href="https://www.realclearinvestigations.com/articles/2021/07/07/naming_the_capitol_cop_who_killed_jan_6_rioter_ashli_babbitt_779601.html">who has been unofficially identified as Lt. Michael L. Byrd</a>, was able to kill an unarmed veteran and not only avoid any and all charges but have his identity kept secret for over seven months.</p>
<p>It’s entirely within the realm of possibility that he will never officially be acknowledged as her killer. </p>
<p>Whereas Democrats will go to bat for any random thug (so long as they’re shot by a white or “white-adjacent” police officer), rather than demand justice for Ashli Babbitt GOP cowards like <a href="https://www.informationliberation.com/?id=62411">Oklahoma Rep. Markwayne Mullin</a> and <a href="https://www.informationliberation.com/?id=62422">North Dakota Sen. Kevin Cramer</a> have literally praised her killer!</p>

Apple, Google, and Samsung move to normalize vaccine passports with wallet function

<p><strong>Apple, Samsung, and Google want to make it possible for users to store their vaccination status in the phones’ digital wallet, a scenario that would make vaccination verification simpler. However, the developments raise concerns for privacy and civil liberties advocates and the Big Tech support will further normalize the invasive practice.</strong></p>
<p>Google, Samsung, and Apple have announced such plans.</p>
<p>Samsung, on Wednesday, announced that it was partnering with the Commons Project, the developer of CommonHealth, a vaccine verification app. The partnership would enable users to verify their vaccination status using the digital wallet Samsung Pay.</p>
<p>“Rather than having to pull up CommonHealth — which is a personal health records app, which isn’t really designed for walking into a grocery store and showing a QR code — now you can store this in a much more convenient place,” said JP Pollak, CommonHealth’s chief architect.</p>
<p>“You can imagine that at some point in the future, your vaccine record happens to be something you need with that great of frequency,” Pollak added.</p>
<p>Apple announced that the iOS 15, which launches in the fall, will come with an inbuilt vaccine verification feature. In June, Google said it had already developed such a technology and was waiting to partner with vaccine verification providers.</p>
<p>The US federal government has shied away from creating a universal vaccine verification system or even provide guidelines for the creation of such systems. As such, states and private companies have been left with the freedom to create their own apps.</p>

Alabama Doctor Says He Will Not Treat the Unvaccinated

<p><strong>A doctor in Alabama stirred up controversy this week when he pledged not to treat patients who have not been vaccinated for the coronavirus.</strong></p>
<p>“Dr. Jason Valentine, a physician at Mobile’s Diagnostic and Medical Clinic Infirmary Health, posted a photo on his Facebook page showing him posed next to a sign that says ‘effective Oct. 1, 2021, Dr. Valentine will no longer see patients that are not vaccinated against COVID-19,’” <a href="https://www.al.com/news/2021/08/alabama-doctor-says-he-wont-treat-unvaccinated-people-covid-is-miserable-way-to-die.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">reported</a> <em>The Birmingham News</em>.</p>
<p>The post has since been set to private, and Dr. Valentine did not respond when reporters reached out to him and his representatives for comment. Valentine penned a letter for his patients, which he posted online.</p>
<p>“We do not yet have any great treatments for severe disease, but we do have great prevention with vaccines. Unfortunately, many have declined to take the vaccine, and some end up severely ill or dead,” he said in the letter, according to the outlet:</p>

<p class="">I cannot and will not force anyone to take the vaccine, but I also cannot continue to watch my patients suffer and die from an eminently preventable disease. Therefore, as of October 1st, 2021, I will no longer see patients that have not been vaccinated against COVID-19. If you wish to keep me as your physician, documentation of your vaccination will suffice. If you wish to choose another physician, we will be happy to transfer your records.</p>

<p>Valentine said three unvaccinated patients expressed a desire to get the vaccine following his post.</p>

<p><strong>Video messages from Australian truck drivers have surfaced in some of the alternative social media sites in recent days stating that they are going to take their country back, by going on strike and creating a blockade that will choke the supply chain.</strong></p>
<p>They are warning Australians to prepare, and stock up on food and basic necessities while they do this. They claim to have widespread support among “truckies” and also among military veterans.</p>
<p>They recently had a “snap” protest in Sydney where dozens of trucks spanning miles lined up blowing their horns in a sign of solidarity against tyranny.</p>
<p>Australians are currently living under one of the most ridiculous, dictatorial regimes in the world in the name of public health. Permits are required to leave home, curfews are in force, and the military has set up check points on the streets.</p>
<p>Then on Saturday the 21st August thousands of people showed the police state that they will not accept tyranny in Australia lying down as they took to the streets to fight for their freedoms, but were subjected to police brutality in the form of pepper spray, foam cannisters, and rubber bullets.</p>

Scottish Government Wants to Make Emergency Covid-19 Powers Permanent

<p><strong>The Scottish government has made public a set of proposals to make <a href="https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-58244323" data-type="URL" data-id="https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-58244323" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">some of the Covid-19 emergency powers permanent</a>, including the ability to impose lockdowns.</strong></p>
<p>Currently, through emergency powers that have been granted to the Scottish National Party (SNP), led by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, they are able to enact temporary laws forcing businesses and schools to close, as well as release prisoners from incarceration early, if ministers deem the cause “necessary and proportionate.”</p>
<p>The government has proposed that Scottish ministers should be given “the same powers to protect the people of Scotland from any incidence or spread of infection or contamination, which presents or could present significant harm to human health in Scotland, not just COVID.”</p>
<p>A new consultation has been established to “seek the public’s views” on extending ta host of ministerial powers in relation to public health measures far beyond their March 2022 expiration, with proposals such as “prohibiting or limiting numbers at gatherings, introducing lockdown measures, and requiring that face coverings are worn” set to become a permanent part of Scottish public life.</p>
<p>John Swinney, Scotland’s deputy first minister and cabinet secretary for Covid recovery, announced that some measures should be kept “where there is demonstrable benefit to the people of Scotland.”</p>
<p>“This is an opportunity to maintain changes that have been welcomed by people who now don’t want to lose transformations that have been innovative, beneficial, and increased access to service,” Swinnney said. The consultation is to last 12 weeks, closing on 9th November.</p>
<p>Ministers are looking at whether new legislation should be passed to make some of the ministerial powers permanent.</p>
<p>Most of the proposals are aimed at future Covid-19 outbreaks or the spread of any other infectious virus that poses a risk to public health. The government’s consultation said this would mean “ministers can respond effectively and rapidly to any future threats to public health in Scotland.”</p>
<p>Under the guise of attempting to “protect Scotland against future public health threats,” the government has sought to enshrine “powers to make directions to close educational establishments” that would allow legislators to close schools during the remainder of the pandemic and at any future date in which keeping them open is deemed a threat to public health by the chief medical officer.</p>
<p>The consultation document stated: “In the event of a future pandemic, the broad nature of the powers will provide ministers with the flexibility to take the action needed to address the specific circumstances of the health emergency.”</p>
<p>Additionally, the proposed plans involve the continued ability to permit the early release of prisoners and allowing people to take part in court cases remotely. The consultation has also suggested a permanent move to digital options such as the remote registration of deaths or stillbirths, council meetings and electronic court documents.</p>
<p>The government said that it would be “prudent to extend the powers” established towards the start of the pandemic so ministers can choose “to order the release of groups of prisoners” to alleviate pressure on the prisoner system.</p>
<p>Furthermore, the government has proposed that the relaxation on those who are permitted to administer Covid-19 vaccines should be extended indefinitely. If continued, this would allow “nurses, midwives and paramedics” to be enlisted as vaccinators for the Covid-19 vaccines and other routine vaccinations, such as those the flu, “to make it easier to quickly protect the population from infectious disease.”</p>
<p>However, opposition party members criticised the proposals, with Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) Murdo Fraser of the Scottish Conservative Party stating that the effort is as “dangerous route to go down.” Fraser, who is the Covid recovery spokesman for the Scottish Tories, said that the extension of emergency powers during the Covid crises “were intended to be temporary measures to deal with the pandemic.”</p>
<p>Fraser continued: “The fact that SNP ministers are now seeking to make many of them permanent is a clear sign they are unwilling to give up their control over people’s lives.</p>
<p>“With the vast majority of COVID restrictions having now been eased, Scots will be asking serious questions over why these laws would need to remain in place permanently. It is a dangerous route to go down to allow ministers to implement sweeping powers upon society on a whim.” </p>
<p>The emergency powers in place in Scotland were set to expire on 30th September, however, the SNP managed to push through a six-month extension just weeks before the Parliament closed for summer at the end of June.</p>
<p>Swinney originally told MSPs that there would likely be a follow-up request to extend the emergency powers by another six months, prolonging the emergency powers to September 2022, before setting out the proposal for no time limit on the provisions.</p>
<p>Additionally, Fraser highlighted how the government had “already steamrolled” its previous request for an extension to emergency powers, “and now they’ve snuck this consultation out while it is still in recess.” Fraser said that the government are obviously keen to avoid scrutiny over their plans which would include releasing prisoners early and controlling how schools operate.</p>
<p>“Yet again, the SNP are making rash decisions over COVID-related laws, when the focus should be on accelerating our recovery from the pandemic.”</p>
<p><strong>Whilst Scotland are seeking to make emergency Covid-19 powers a permanent fixture of Scottish life, it would be unsurprising if the UK government followed in their footsteps and did the same for the British public, forever forcing us all to live in tyranny.</strong></p>
