Video: AOC Puts Mask On For Photo Op With Crowd Of Leftists, Then Removes It Again Immediately

<p><strong>Radical Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was caught on video mingling with a crowd of fawning leftists, many of whom donned face masks when it was announced a photo would be taken, then along with AOC herself immediately removed the coverings as soon as the photo op was over.</strong></p>
<p>The action took place outside the Capitol building, where it isn’t mandatory to wear masks.</p>
<p>It seems that either these people, including AOC believe that they are only at risk from catching and spreading COVID when a camera comes out, or they know that housing their mouths in face diapers gets significant social media clout.</p>
<p>Or perhaps a third reason might be that they know they are at risk of an online drubbing from their own mentally unhinged kind for not wearing masks at all times.</p>
<p>Whatever the reason there’s zero logic or science behind it. Here’s the video:</p>
<p>Of course, AOC, who earlier in the year <a href="https://summit.news/2020/11/20/aoc-wants-government-to-pay-people-to-stay-home/">suggested</a> the government pay people to stay imprisoned in their homes, is all too familiar with the art of the <a href="https://summit.news/2019/06/26/aoc-criticized-for-wearing-600-watch-during-crying-border-photo-op/">fake photo op</a>.</p>

Baylor Prof Says It Should be a “Hate Crime” to Criticize Fauci & Other Scientists

<p><strong>Baylor College of Medicine Professor Peter Hotez has published a paper suggesting it should be a “hate crime” to criticize Dr Anthony Fauci and other scientists.</strong></p>
<p>Dr. Hotez, who is a frequent guest on MSNBC and CNN, lobbied for criminal punishments to be introduced in a recently published paper called <a href="https://journals.plos.org/plosbiology/article?id=10.1371/journal.pbio.3001369">Mounting Antiscience Aggression in the United States</a>.</p>
<p>According to Hotez, a “band of ultraconservative members of the US Congress and other public officials with far-right leanings are waging organized and seemingly well-coordinated attacks against prominent US biological scientists.”</p>
<p>This is apparently emboldening “far-right extremists” who are engaging in “antiscience aggression” by questioning the response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the vaccine rollout.</p>
<p>Hotez trots out the usual Nazi comparisons to emotionally assert, “Not taking action is a tacit endorsement, and a guarantee that the integrity and productivity of science in the United States will be eroded or lose ground.”</p>

<p>“We should look at expanded protection mechanisms for scientists currently targeted by far-right extremism in the United States,” he writes. “Rep. Paul Tonko (D-NY) has introduced a bill known as the Scientific Integrity Act of 2021 (H.R. 849) to protect US Government scientists from political interference, but this needs to be extended for scientists at private research universities and institutes. Still another possibility is to extend federal hate-crime protections.”</p>
<p>This is yet another transparent effort to dehumanize anti-lockdown protesters and demonize people who merely want to exercise bodily autonomy while elevating Fauci and his ilk to Pope-like status.</p>
<p>Science isn’t supposed to be a religious dogma that is set in stone, it’s an ever-evolving knowledge base that changes and improves thanks to dissent and skepticism.</p>
<p>Attorney Jonathan Turley blasted Hotez’ authoritarian nonsense in a piece published on his <a href="https://jonathanturley.org/2021/08/04/baylor-professor-calls-for-prosecution-of-criticism-of-fauci-and-other-scientists-as-hate-crime/">website</a>.</p>
<p>“The federal hate crime laws focus on basis of a person’s characteristics of race, religion, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, and gender identity. We have seen calls for adding professions like police officers, which I also opposed. As with police officers, the inclusion of such professions would have a direct and inimical impact on free speech in our society. Indeed, it would create a slippery slope as other professions demand inclusion from reporters to ministers to physicians. Hate crimes would quickly apply to a wide array of people due to their occupations.”</p>
<p>“What is most striking about the article of Hotez is its lack of analytical balance. He rages against the right without even acknowledging how social media companies have already enforced a massive censorship program that bars even reporting the results of public clinical trials or repeating CDC positions on vaccinations. For a year, Big Tech has been censoring those who wanted to discuss the origins of pandemic and those who suggested the lab theory were attacked as right-wing conspiracy theorists. It was not until Biden admitted that the virus may have originated in the Wuhan lab that social media suddenly changed its position. Facebook only recently announced that people on its platform will be able to discuss the origins of Covid-19 after censoring any such discussion.”</p>

<p><strong>Attorney Thomas Renz revealed on <a href="https://www.lifesitenews.com/conference-stop-the-shot/?utm_source=Renz" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Truth For Health’s Stop The Shot live conference</a> that the original figure of 45,000 people who have allegedly died from the Covid-19 vaccines within three days of vaccination is too low.</strong></p>
<p>Renz said that VAERS data from whistleblowers is currently being analysed and appears to show that the original statistic he revealed last month at an event hosted by Awakened America is only a fraction of the real number of deaths.</p>
<p>The attorney said that the true number of deaths is likely “immensely higher” and is being hidden by the government.</p>
<p>According to attorney Renz, the public is not being given access to all of the death and injury data from the 11 to 12 vaccine injury reporting systems.</p>
<p>Renz said: “Any public policy being made without independent study of this data will lead to poor and or dangerous policies being made for we the people.”</p>
<p>Attorney Renz said that once the data has been analysed, he will release the information over the next few weeks.</p>
<p>Previously, Renz stated at the Awaken America event last month that a whistleblower – referred to as Jane Doe – informed him that there are around 11 VAERS systems reporting adverse reactions and deaths across the US, and one system alone has <a href="https://dailyexpose.co.uk/2021/07/19/vaers-whistleblower-45000-dead-from-covid-19-vaccines-within-3-days-sparks-lawsuit-against-federal-government/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">allegedly has reported the shocking 45,000 deaths from the Covid jabs.</a></p>
<p><a href="https://renz-law.com/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Renz and his law firm</a>, along with America’s Frontline Doctors, are currently suing the federal government for covering up the true number of deaths from the Covid-19 vaccines and for approving the jabs for use on children.</p>
<h3>High Risk of Children Being Paralysed by the Covid Vaccine</h3>
<p>Currently, in the US, <a href="https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/recommendations/adolescents.html" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">the Pfizer Covid vaccine has been approved for children aged 12 years and older</a> and has tragically caused <a href="https://dailyexpose.co.uk/2021/07/02/12-year-old-girl-bound-to-wheelchair-and-left-with-chronic-illnesses-after-receiving-pfizer-covid-19-vaccine/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">countless injuries</a> and <a href="https://dailyexpose.co.uk/2021/06/24/13-year-old-boy-dies-3-days-after-receiving-second-pfizer-covid-19-vaccine/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">deaths</a> post-injection.</p>
<p>The Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) has recently <a href="https://dailyexpose.co.uk/2021/08/02/fda-asks-more-children-to-take-part-in-covid-vaccine-trials/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">requested Pfizer and Moderna to expand their clinical trials involving children to include 5-to-11-year-olds</a>, with trials even being carried out on children as young as 6 months old.</p>
<p>Disturbingly, Thomas Renz revealed at the conference yesterday that information from published clinical trials showed that children had a 1 in 1000 chance of paralysis from the Covid-19 vaccines.</p>
<p>“The FDA wouldn’t investigate this. Why? Why wouldn’t they investigate this? Don’t you think that’s important?</p>
<p>“Paralysing our children especially as we push it [the vaccine] on younger and younger children who have zero statistical risk of death from Covid-19?”, Renz questioned at the conference.</p>
<p>Renz continued by stating that the FDA should investigate the cases of paralysis and stop the rollout of the vaccines to children.</p>
<h3>Younger People are More Likely to Die From the Vaccine Than Covid</h3>
<p>Additional information released by attorney Thomas Renz included the shocking revelation that those aged under 30 are more likely to be killed by the vaccine than Covid.</p>
<p>Renz said: “Based on our statistical analysis if you are under 30 the ‘vaccine’ is more likely to kill you than save you.”</p>
<h3>Hospitals are Overwhelmed by the Vaccinated</h3>
<p>Various hospital whistleblowers have come forward and revealed to Thomas Renz and his team that hospitals are seeing fully vaccinated breakthrough cases at an “astounding rate.”</p>
<p>Renz said that numerous whistleblowers have stated that they are seeing fully vaccinated individuals in ICUs at a rate anywhere from 40% to 100%.</p>
<p>“People who are fully vaccinated are accounting for 40% or more of admissions for Covid and Covid related illness. 40% or more, that is pretty amazing considering the government’s telling us you won’t ever be admitted and you’ll be safe if you get this vaccine.”</p>
<p>Renz said that one hospital whistleblower revealed that there have been several periods where, in her hospital, 100% of the ICU patients were comprised of breakthrough cases.</p>
<p>The attorney said that these Covid breakthrough cases are “exactly what we are seeing in the UK and Israel” and is proof that the Covid jab “is not safe or effective.”</p>
<h3>Dead People are Being Counted in Vaccination Stats</h3>
<p>At the Stop The Shot conference, Renz also revealed that he has been contacted by more whistleblowers who have shed a light on the reality of the Covid “pandemic” and the danger of the vaccines.</p>
<p>One whistleblower informed Renze that deceased people are being counted as fully vaccinated in the Covid-19 vaccination stats.</p>
<p>Renz said that the 70% number the government is saying has got vaccinated is “fiction” and has been overinflated and is being used by the media as propaganda to push a false narrative.</p>
<p>“We don’t when exactly that final number is going to come out, but what we do know is that we have confirmed that there are a number of vaccinated people that are actually dead. They were dead when they were vaccinated,” Renz said.</p>
<p>He said during the conference that this is a “common action in healthcare fraud” and the inaccurate statistics are being used to fuel the vaccine agenda.</p>
<p>“The 70% vaccination rate is a lie, or at least incorrect,” the Ohio-based attorney said.</p>
<h3>Association of State Medical Boards Are Threatening Doctors</h3>
<p>Furthermore, attorney Renz stated that there are plenty of alternative medicines that are completely safe and effective that have been used by doctors across the US to treat Covid-19, but that these doctors have been censored and suppressed.</p>
<p>Renz said that the Association of State Medical Boards is threatening to remove doctors’ licenses if the doctors attempt to tell patients the truth about early treatments or the dangers of the “vaccines.”</p>
<p>Medicines such as Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine are just two treatments named by Renz as being suppressed and “slandered” by the mainstream media and big pharma in favour of the vaccines.</p>
<h3>More Whistleblowers are Coming Forward</h3>
<p>To conclude, Thomas Renz thanked the countless whistleblowers who have come forward to reveal the truth about the Covid-19 “pandemic” and the dangers of the so-called “vaccines.”</p>
<p>Renz said: “Despite the risk to themselves, their jobs, and slandering of their reputation if our Whistleblowers become unmasked, they are still providing us important data and information which allows us to get the appropriate facts in the public square.  We need more heroes to come forward.</p>
<p>“The true lifesaving information is being suppressed.”</p>

Streaming space tourism is the new reality TV

<p>When SpaceX launches its first all-civilian crew into space later this fall and takes a multi-day trip circling the Earth, humanity can follow along online thanks to an exclusive documentary deal Netflix sealed with Elon Musk’s private space company.</p>
<p>The first two installments of the five-episode miniseries, <em>Countdown: Inspiration4 Mission to Space</em>, will debut on the streaming platform September 6 and will be the closest Netflix has come yet to covering an event in “near-real time,” the company said on Tuesday. Over the course of September, a team of videographers will follow the civilian astronauts, including billionaire Jared Isaacman, who will be piloting the spacecraft, as they prepare for the journey and eventually launch into space. If all goes as planned, Netflix will release two more episodes September 13; it will film the actual launch on September 15 and then stream it as a “feature-length finale” at the end of the month.</p>
<p>Netflix is making it clear that it wants us to think the mission, which will also raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, is really for everyone. One promotional poster for the show declares, “This September, we’re all going to space.” The streaming platform is even releasing a live-action/animated show to explain the mission to kids and their families.</p>

<p>But SpaceX and Netflix are hardly the only companies hoping to capitalize on the historic shift to commercial space travel. The Inspiration4 mission and its streaming special mark a new era of live broadcasting from space. The rise of space tourism also seems ripe for the streaming age, a time when people can watch these events almost anywhere, and the entertainment industry has already started turning billionaires’ joyrides in zero gravity into massive media events.</p>
<p>“Shooting something into space, that’s something that’s going to bring in subscribers globally,” Julia Alexander, a senior strategy analyst at Parrot Analytics, told Recode. Alexander added that growing demand and “the fact that they’re relatively cheap to produce compared to the high-profile prestigious dramas with the big Hollywood talent” means we’ll see many more space-bound reality shows in the future.</p>
<p>The space-focused science series <em>Nova</em> was the eighth-most popular documentary series in the United States between June 2020 and July 2021; last year, the <em>Cosmos: Possible Worlds</em> featuring Neil deGrasse-Tyson saw 18 times the average demand for science and nature documentary content, according to Alexander. And let’s not forget that the data-driven nature of platforms can steer viewers to specific types of shows.</p>
<p>“Netflix and other streaming platforms are able to create niche content like this because they are able to use their customer data to match the content to the interests of their consumers,” Michael Smith, an information technology and marketing professor at Carnegie Mellon University, told Recode in an email.</p>
<p>Blue Origin and Virgin Galactic are also acutely aware that their launches can act as advertising for their brands, affiliated companies, and commercial space tourism in general. Accordingly, they’ve invested heavily into incorporating expert commentators, live updates, and streaming coverage of launches. Virgin Galactic has even recruited <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2021/07/20/kellie-gerardi-prepares-for-first-spaceflight-with-virgin-galactic.html">a TikTok influencer</a> for an upcoming flight.</p>
<p>Millions tuned into Blue Origin’s YouTube channel for the July 20 launch that <a href="https://www.vox.com/recode/22583997/billionaires-blue-origin-elon-musk-jeff-bezos-rockets-planes-commercial-space-tourism">carried Jeff Bezos on a suborbital flight</a> along with the oldest and youngest person to ever visit space, pilot Wally Funk and Dutch teenager Oliver Daemen.</p>
<p>“We also wanted to show this is a true rocket ride experience. There are fewer than 600 people who have ever been to space,” Linda Mills, Blue Origin’s vice president of communications, <a href="https://www.prweek.com/article/1723587/inside-story-blue-origin-focused-human-centric-storytelling-jeff-bezos-flight">told PR Week</a> of the event. “To demonstrate that specialness and uniqueness of the flight was something we were trying to get across to future customers.”</p>
<p>Bezos’s flight was also the first — and for now, the only — rocket launch that Amazon customers could watch live on Prime Video.</p>
<p>More reality shows filmed from space are planned for the near future. An American production company called Space Hero is working on a contest-based show that will have average people train and compete for the chance to win a very expensive trip to the International Space Station. Like Netflix, the company says it’s focusing on “opening space up to everyone” while offering the first-ever truly off-planet experience.” Space Hero even signed <a href="https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/nasa-considers-filming-reality-show-competition-international-space-station-more-space-commercialization-emerges-180977511/">a contractor agreement</a> with NASA in April.</p>
<p>Of course, rocket launches as blockbuster media events predate the streaming era. From the early days of the space program, NASA missions were live demonstrations of national achievement, and humanity’s journey to the final frontier was the stuff of national news broadcasts. An <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2019/07/15/business/media/apollo-11-television-media.html">estimated 600 million people</a> watched Neil Armstrong land on the moon during the Apollo 11 mission. While enthusiasm for broadcasting space events in real time dwindled after the Challenger explosion in 1986, private space companies are once again trying to market launches as something everyone on Earth can watch live.</p>
<p>That messaging has the convenient effect of distracting viewers from the fact that commercial space tourism, at least for now, is an <a href="https://www.vox.com/recode/22589197/space-travel-tourism-bezos-branson-rockets-blue-origin-virgin-galactic-spacex">environmentally questionable hobby for the ultrarich</a> that won’t immediately accomplish much in terms of advancing our scientific understanding of space. But while criticism of billionaires’ space dreams surged following Bezos’s launch, that same narrative may not pop up with Netflix’s latest SpaceX show, says Alexander from Parrot Analytics.</p>
<p>“I imagine SpaceX has some form of say in what is going on,” she told Recode. “Netflix just wants to carry it and make the best docu-series possible.”</p>

<p>Public transport and taxi services were curtailed in 144 of the worst-hit areas nationwide, while officials curbed train service and subway usage in Beijing, where three new cases were reported Wednesday. Hong Kong re-imposed quarantine on travelers from the mainland, though an exception remained for the southern Guangdong province which neighbors the financial city.</p>

<p><strong>WHO Calls for Halt on Booster Shots (9:30 a.m. NY)</strong></p>
<p>The World Health Organization called for a moratorium on booster shots to enable poorer countries to catch up in vaccination rates.</p>
<p>The halt on third doses should be in place until at least the end of September, Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said at a media briefing on Wednesday. That would help achieve the WHO's goal to vaccinate at least 10% of the population in every country by that date, protecting health-care workers and vulnerable people.</p>
<p><strong>EU in Deal for 200 Million Doses of Novavax (9:20 a.m. NY)</strong></p>
<p>The European Commission approved a contract with Novavax Inc. for up to 200 million doses of the U.S. company's Covid vaccine, according to statement. The Novavax vaccine is under rolling review by the European Union's drug regulator in view of a potential market authorization.</p>

<p>The spread of the delta coronavirus variant has pushed the threshold for herd immunity to well over 80% and potentially approaching 90%, according to an Infectious Diseases Society of America briefing on Tuesday.</p>
<p>That represents a "much higher" bar than previous estimates of 60% to 70%, because delta is twice as transmissible, said Richard Franco, an assistant professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.</p>
<p>"It is becoming clear that this is a very dangerous, way more dangerous virus than the original one," Franco said.</p>
<p>Herd immunity is based on the idea that when a certain percentage of the population has been vaccinated against the virus or gains immunity by a previous infection, it helps protect the broader population and reduce transmission.</p>
<p>Nearly 60% of Americans have received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine, and about 50% have been fully vaccinated, representing about 165 million individuals, according to CDC data. Some 35 million people in the U.S., meanwhile, have tested positive for the virus over the course of the pandemic.</p>
