Hungary Tells EU it Has No Business Telling Hungarians How to Raise Their Kids

<p><strong>The Hungarian government has informed the EU it has no business telling Hungarians how to raise their kids following the globalist body’s interference over the teaching of LGBT issues in schools.</strong></p>
<p>A law passed by Hungary’s National Assembly last month ensured that sex education in schools “must not be aimed” at “promoting homosexuality” or “changing gender,” according to ruling party Fidesz.</p>
<p>The law also bans showing children under the age of 18 material related to homosexuality or transgenderism on television, movies or in advertisements.</p>
<p>This triggered the unelected European Commission, which launched two infringement procedures against the law, while the leaders of the EU’s 17 biggest countries reacted by penning a letter arguing the legislation represented a violation of “fundamental rights.”</p>
<p>European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen also labeled the law “a disgrace,” claiming it “uses the protection of children as an excuse to discriminate against people because of their sexual orientation.”</p>
<p>It was even alleged that the EU was deliberately withholding coronavirus relief funds from Hungary as punishment.</p>
<p>Last month, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced that a national referendum on the law would be held, cementing the right of the Hungarian people to assert a sovereign say in how their country is run.</p>

<p>Hungary has now hit back at the “unprecedented attacks” it is under from the EU over the issue by asserting that the manner in which children are educated is the “exclusive right of Hungarian parents.”</p>
<p>Hungary’s Justice Minister Judit Varga released a statement vowing to stand up to “interference” from Brussels bullies.</p>
<p>“Hungary has been attacked on an unprecedented scale only because the protection of children and families is our priority, and in view of this, we are unwilling to let [the] LGBTQ lobby into our schools and kindergartens,” Ms Varga wrote.</p>
<p>“How Hungarian children are raised is the exclusive right of Hungarian parents. Brussels cannot interfere in that. According to all fundamental documents of the EU that Hungary has ever adopted, signed [and] ratified, raising children remains a national competence,” she added.</p>
<p>Hungary’s position is in complete accordance with Article 14 of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, which gives member states, “The freedom to found educational establishments with due respect for democratic principles and the right of parents to ensure the education and teaching of their children in conformity with their religious, philosophical, and pedagogical convictions shall be respected, in accordance with the national laws governing the exercise of such freedom and right.”</p>
<p>A benchmark of how the Hungarian people feel about the LGBT movement can be judged from the treatment of a rainbow-colored statue erected in Budapest in April by leftist activists in honor of Black Lives Matter.</p>

<p><strong>The bizarre outpouring of emotional incontinence in the aftermath of Olympic gymnast Simone Biles quitting her team’s finals has continued, with the BBC describing her as “superhuman.”</strong></p>
<p>Sorry, what?</p>
<p>Biles made headlines when she pulled out of two Olympic gymnastics events after making an error in one of her performances, abandoning her team and letting down her country.</p>
<p>She later cited both social media pressure and ‘mental health’ as reasons for withdrawing.</p>
<p>Some questioned why an elite athlete trained to perform at the highest level would give up so easily, suggesting that her reasons for doing so may just have been convenient excuses for a poor performance.</p>
<p>However, such people were denounced as monsters by vociferous mobs of people who insisted that Biles be seen as an “inspiration,” “heroic” and “courageous.”</p>
<p>The BBC went further, choosing to lead with the headline that Biles’ behavior was “superhuman.”</p>

<p>The quote is from Nile Wilson, former British gymnast and 2016 bronze medallist, who said, “As athletes, particularly Simone Biles, the attention and validation comes from being a superhuman. I always call her the female Hercules and she definitely will feel all that pressure.”</p>
<p>Another athlete, Chris Mears, also told the broadcaster, “As a man, I am saying that we do not talk enough about mental health.”</p>
<p>This is of course completely absurd since people talk endlessly about “mental health” all the time, a practice that has coincided with soaring depression and worsening mental illness.</p>
<p>Maybe people should stop wallowing and start focusing on creating healthier thinking patterns that aren’t based in self-indulgent “poor me” self-obsession.</p>

Dr. Mercola To ‘Delete All Content’ After 48 Hours As Biden Regime Ramps Up Attacks

<p><strong>Influential holistic practitioner Dr. Joseph Mercola has announced he will begin voluntarily deleting content from his website under the weight of attacks from the Joe Biden regime.</strong></p>
<p>Having been viciously maligned by the Biden administration and lapdog mainstream media over the past few months for countering the established Covid-19 narrative, “Dr. Mercola” on Tuesday declared his website is succumbing to censorship as free speech appears to be in its death throes.</p>

<p>“I am beyond thrilled that there are tens of millions of people who have benefitted from what I have shared over the years,” Mercola said in a letter disseminated Wednesday announcing the deletion of over 15,000 health-related articles.</p>
<p>“These were the times when many of the views I presented were criticized, but that’s to be expected. That was one of the great freedoms we enjoyed. We could have different views and we could speak openly about these views without fear of retribution.”</p>
<p>“But we are now in a different time. A much darker time. The silence of free speech is now deafening.”</p>
<p>Mercola, who’s been dubbed one of the <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.counterhate.com/disinformationdozen" target="_blank">Disinformation Dozen</a> by anti-hate groups for spouting so-called anti-vaccine rhetoric, says while free speech and healthy debate was once supported, that’s no longer the case.</p>
<p>“Not only is blatant censorship tolerated, it is being encouraged by the very people who were to be entrusted with protecting our freedom of speech,” he says.</p>
<p>Without naming him, Mercola says Joe Biden is using the full-weight of the federal government to destroy his reputation.</p>

<p>“Never in my life, would I believe the sitting President of the United States call out 12 Americans in a McCarthyism-like attack in the United States. As you are aware, I was placed at the top of this list,” Mercola continued.</p>
<p>During a press conference last month, Biden accused Mercola and the rest of the Disinfo Dozen of “killing people” by spreading misinformation.</p>

<p>As a result of the savage targeting, Mercola has concluded that making his content available only temporarily is a solution to dealing with the authoritarianism.</p>
<p>“I can hardly believe these words are coming out of my mouth. It’s a testament of just how radical things have degenerated in the recent past. However, I will continue to publish new articles, BUT going forward, each article I publish will be available for only 48 hours and will then be removed from the website.”</p>
<p>Mercola says the deletions will hopefully pacify the internet’s information-gatekeepers who have infinite power to destroy a person’s life.</p>
<p>“These will be removed to appease the individuals in power who have an arsenal of overwhelming tools at their disposal, and are actively engaged in using them. COVID-19 has activated and authorized emergency powers that have weakened our constitutional rights. Sadly, cyberwarfare and authoritarian forces are beyond our abilities to withstand, and this is now our only way forward.”</p>
<p>Mercola ends his message with a quote from Albert Einstein: “Science can flourish only in an atmosphere of free speech.”</p>
<p>Dr. Mercola’s self-censorship speaks volumes to the age of ruthless totalitarianism society is currently living through.</p>

DeSantis Fires Back at Biden: Until Border is Secured, ‘I Don’t Want to Hear a Blip About COVID From You’

<p><strong>Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) fired back at Joe Biden telling him to “stay out of the way” from his lockdown plans, pointing out hundreds of thousands of potentially COVID-infected illegal aliens are streaming into the country due to Biden’s open border policy.</strong></p>
<p>During a press conference Wednesday in Panama City, DeSantis warned Biden that he has no businesses lecturing about COVID when he opened up the southern border to allow hundreds of thousands of COVID-positive illegal immigrants into America.</p>
<p>“Joe Biden is suggesting if you don’t do lock down policies, you should quote, ‘get out of the way’…if you’re coming after the rights of parents in Florida, I’m standing in your way,” DeSantis said before receiving applause from residents and local leaders.  </p>

<p>“If you’re trying to lock people down, I am standing in your way and I’m standing for the people of Florida.”</p>
<p>“He’s imported more virus from around the world by having a wide open southern border,” DeSantis continued. “You have hundreds of thousands of people pouring across – and it’s not just from Mexico – you have over 100 different countries where people are pouring through. So, he’s not shutting down the virus, he’s helping to facilitate it in our country.”</p>
<p>DeSantis also said that Florida will not enforce vaccine mandates on its citizens.</p>
<p>“We said from the beginning, we’re going to make it available for all, but we’re not going to mandate it on anybody. It’s ultimately an individual’s choice to be able to do it,” DeSantis said. “So, why don’t you do your job (Biden), why don’t you get that border secure and until you do that, I don’t want to hear a blip about COVID from you.”</p>

<p>Biden took aim at DeSantis and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott in remarks urging for more lockdowns in the wake of the so-called “delta variant” spread, which has notably not resulted in a spike in deaths.</p>
<p>“Look, we need leadership from everyone. If some governors aren’t willing to do the right thing to beat this pandemic, then they should allow businesses and universities who want to do the right thing to be able to do it,” Biden <a href="https://www.miamiherald.com/news/politics-government/article253232033.html">said</a> Tuesday in remarks about the pandemic.</p>
<p>“I say to these governors please help. But if you are not going to help, at least get out of the way of the people who are trying to do the right thing. Use your power to save lives.”</p>
<p>Biden’s defense of mask mandates come as Democrat Mayor de Blasio declared that <a href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/nyc-mayor-de-blasio-announces-covid-vaccine-mandates-voluntary-phase-is-over/">vaccine passports are coming to New York City</a>, with more Democrat-run cities are preparing another round of mask mandates and lockdowns.</p>
