Poll: Vast Majority of Brits Willing To Accept PERMANENT Vaccine Passports To Get On Buses, Go To Shops

Another disturbing survey has revealed that a majority of British people are willing to accept vaccine passports in order to engage in basic day to day activities, and that they are willing to go along with the digital ID card system PERMANNETLY.
The <a href="https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/coronavirus-vaccine-passports-comres-poll-b1829316.html">London Independent poll</a>, conducted by pollster Savanta ComRes,  highlighted the findings, with 56 per cent saying that it would be acceptable to have to prove vaccination or negative COVID status in order to enter a shop.
Fewer than a third, 32 per cent, said that this would be unacceptable, according to the survey.
Even more people, 58 per cent, said that they believe the passes should be a requirement to use public transport, with only 29 per cent saying this would not be acceptable.
Yet MORE Brits said that they are willing to show a vaccine passport in order to be allowed to go to work, with a whopping 65 per cent suggesting they are ready to accept the system, and only 24 per cent expressing disapproval.
Sixty-five per cent also said it is acceptable for restaurants to require vaccine passports, with 63 per cent finding them acceptable for pubs and bars. Only 24 per cent expressed opposition in both cases.
The numbers provide even more dismal viewing for those who still value freedom when it comes to public events.
A majority of 67 per cent believe the passes should be required for concerts and theatres, with only 21 per cent against, with nightclub entry at 66 to 22 per cent, and sports stadiums at 66 to 22 per cent, respectively.

In addition, 53 per cent said that the ‘certification’ system should remain in place even after the pandemic is over.
Only around a third said the vaccine passports should be ditched after the pandemic ceases.
The highest majority, 75 per cent are willing to accept vaccine passports for air travel, with only 16 per cent saying that it should not be acceptable.

Savanta ComRes associate director Chris Hopkins said “The public do not seem to be revolting en masse against the restrictions.”
He added, “While there is undoubtedly a desire to return to normal, the public understand that this approach needs to be sensible and are happy for the government to put in place whatever means necessary to ensure a safe return to normality – and if that means vaccine passports, the public appear to be pretty on board.”

The same poll also found that almost one-third (32 per cent) don’t want the lockdown to end, saying the final lifting of restrictions should be extended beyond the government’s current target date of 21 June.
Only 18 per cent said the lockdown should be lifted now.
These findings dovetail with <a href="https://summit.news/2021/04/12/poll-significant-proportion-of-brits-say-they-have-enjoyed-lockdown/">a Sunday Times poll</a> that found a “significant proportion of Brits” say they have actually enjoyed lockdown.
The figures are a stark reminder of how the public has been corralled through a sustained campaign of fear into accepting <a href="https://summit.news/2021/04/09/report-brits-at-pubs-will-have-to-register-on-government-tracking-app-hand-over-phones/">severe restrictions on their freedoms</a>, with many actually finding it preferable to not be able to leave their homes.

“Total Chaos” – Unlawful Assembly Declared In Huntington Beach When “White Lives Matter” Clashed With Counter-Protesters

Huntington Beach police declared an unlawful assembly in Downtown Huntington Beach, California, Sunday afternoon following a “White Lives Matter” rally that resulted in social unrest. 
Hundreds of people gathered in Downtown Huntington Beach for the event, but it appeared counter-protesters (representing Black Lives Matter) also showed up in numbers. Members of various factions clashed, and that was the time when police declared an unlawful assembly at the nearby 5th Street and Walnut Avenue intersection.

Man Who Minneapolis Area Police Shot, Provoking Riot, Had Warrant For Arrest, Was Fleeing Police

<h4>A riot is underway in the Minneapolis metropolitan area, and has already seen rioters injured, police property damaged, and an attempt to hurl a cement block at an officer’s head. The riot started in response to police involved shooting of a man who had an outstanding warrant and was in the process of fleeing from police.</h4>
<a href="https://nationalfile.com/breaking-black-lives-matter-riots-attacks-officers-jumps-on-police-cars-after-officer-involved-shooting-in-minneapolis/">As National File reported,</a> a riot is underway in the Minneapolis area. At least four black males jumped on and damaged two abandoned police cars, and another black male attempted to throw a cement block at a police officer, only to be immediately subdued by a crowd control projectile. Police immediately attempted to render aid, but were blocked by a protester wearing what appeared to be pink feminine underwear. The man was ultimately carried away by rioters.
The shooting happened in Brooklyn Center, a city immediately connected to Minneapolis with a large minority community. Brooklyn Center is approximately 15 minutes away from downtown Minneapolis.

Police have now released a statement describing what led to the officer involved shooting. A man with an outstanding warrant was apparently in the process of fleeing from police after a routine traffic stop when he was shot.
“Brooklyn Center Police Department officers initiated a stop for a traffic violation,” the police wrote in a press release. “Officers determined that the driver of the vehicle had an outstanding warrant. At one point as officers were attempting to take the driver into custody, the driver re-entered the vehicle.”
“One officer discharged their firearm, striking the driver.” Though injured, the suspect apparently continued to flee, causing damage to another nearby vehicle.
“The vehicle traveled several blocks before striking another vehicle,” the police press release explains. “Officers in pursuit and responding medical personnel attempted life saving measures, but the person died at the scene.”
A passenger in the vehicle was apparently hurt by the wanted man’s attempt to flee police, they reveal. “A female passenger in the vehicle sustained non-life threatening injuries during the crash.”

‘That’s Not Orwellian, THIS Is Orwellian’: Aussies Mulling ID For Access To Facebook, Twitter, Tinder

The Australian government is mulling a proposal which would require citizens to provide at least two forms of identification if they want to use social media, under the guise of ‘battling online bullying and more easily report users to authorities.
Under the guise of preventing online bullying, the Morrison government’s plan would require ‘100 points of identification’ in order to use Twitter, Facebook, Instagram – and online dating platforms such as Tinder, according to <a href="https://www.news.com.au/technology/online/security/government-considering-100-points-of-id-to-get-facebook-tinder-account/news-story/624550c621d662da7d3bd98ff3f0e888">news.com.au</a>. To satisfy the ‘100 points’ requirement, citizens would need to combine ‘Category 1’ methods of identification (birth certificate, passport, citizenship papers) with ‘Category 2’ ID (Valid government-issued license, public employee photo ID, doctor’s note).

It goes on to say that social media platforms “must provide those identifying details when requested by the eSafety Commissioner, law enforcement or as directed by the court”.

As the report notes, the ID requirement would mean social media giants have even more information on their users.
Normal people, as expected, are expressing disbelief over the new proposal:

“I’m a social media manager and I honestly don’t get enough out of social media to justify giving them access to my ID,” another wrote.
Emily van der Nagal is a lecturer at Monash University in Melbourne. She wrote her PhD thesis on the value of social media anonymity and pseudonymity and said of the recommendation: “Don’t do this.”
“Hello, it’s me, a social media researcher who has argued time and time again that it’s not a good idea to force people to submit ID to use social media,” she wrote on Twitter.
“It won’t solve harassment; it will only further harm already vulnerable groups. Don’t do this.”
