BIDEN’S AMERICA: Asian Man Commits ‘Sexual Battery’ Against Woman As Revenge For Anti-Asian Hate Crimes – Police

<h4>An Asian man was arrested last night by California police, after abducting a woman who he thought was white so he could rape her in revenge for supposed anti-Asian hate crimes.</h4>
Irvine Police arrested Michael Sangbong Rhee, a 37-year-old Asian male, on Friday night for kidnapping with the intent to commit a sexual assault against an Asian woman. <a href="https://www.facebook.com/IrvinePD/posts/4562697850423828">In a press release,</a> Irvine PD said that Rhee forced the woman at gunpoint into the back of her car when she was outside her apartment complex on Thursday afternoon. After committing “sexual battery” on the woman, Rhee fled when she alerted a nearby maintenance worker. Rhee was later arrested and is currently being held on $1 million bail. A BB gun similar to the weapon described by the victim was found in his apartment.

However, despite the victim also being Asian, after questioning Rhee, Irvine PD detectives believe that “he targeted the victim because he thought she was white.” The detectives also believe that the attempted rape was committed in “retaliation for hate crimes committed against the Asian community.” Hate crime charges are being added by the detectives to the complaint already in process with the Orange County District Attorney’s office.
In the last couple of months, protests against hate crimes against Asians have been growing across the country, along with their prevalence in the public consciousness. Media reports, and groups including <a href="https://www.stopasianhate.info/">“Stop Asian Hate”</a> have spun a narrative that so-called “white supremacy” is to blame. This is despite the fact that almost all perpetrators of attacks against Asians are non-white. <a href="https://nationalfile.com/video-list-of-suspects-committing-anti-asian-hate-crimes-in-nyc-contains-zero-white-people/">National File reported on a published list of mugshots</a> of suspected victims in anti-Asian hate crimes, none of whom were white.

Despite this, the narrative that white people are to blame continues. <a href="https://medium.com/awaken-blog/on-anti-asian-hate-crimes-who-is-our-real-enemy-207ee7354926">Activists claim that</a> “white supremacy” in fact “pits [black and Asian] communities against each other.” <a href="https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-56218684">A BBC report on anti-Asian hate crimes</a> listed a number of hate crimes and attacks, but only mentioned the identity of the perpetrator in one – when a “Trump-supporting tech executive” hurled slurs at a family in a restaurant in Carmel, California.

<h4>A new Dutch “dark comedy” film follows a journalist who hunts down and murders mean internet commentors. Described as a “journo power trip,” it will receive its US release next month.</h4>
“The Columnist,” known in its original Dutch as “The Pussy Whore,” <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Columnist_(film)">follows the story of Westworld’s Katja Herbers as Femke Boot,</a> “a depressed newspaper columnist who is dealing with pressure from her publisher to complete her book and a seemingly endless stream of online harassers.” Instead of ignoring them like any normal person, the film follows Boot after she decides the best course of action is to hunt down and murder the commentors who have been saying mean things about her.
By the end of the film, she has shot a teenage boy described as “the ringleader of the online bullying,” and attends her book launch party covered in blood, which the audience believes is an artistic statement, with everyone clapping her bravery. Director Ivo van Aart and writer Daan Windhorst, whose short story the film is based upon, <a href="https://www.npo3.nl/film-en-serie/reviews/telefilms-de-kuthoer">said they “hoped the film would be a wakeup call about online bullying and abuse.”</a>

Second Child Sex Abuse Survivor Says Twitter Allowed Child Porn On Platform, Joins Lawsuit

<h4>A second plaintiff has joined a federal lawsuit against Twitter, alleging that the social media giant knowingly refused to remove images of his sexual abuse as a child.</h4>
John Doe #2 has joined the lawsuit, which <a href="https://nationalfile.com/twitter-embroiled-in-new-child-porn-scandal-as-lawsuit-claims-they-defend-sick-content-says-it-doesnt-violate-policies/">as National File reported,</a> was filed in January by John Doe #1, who when he was between 13 and 14, had sexual images and videos of him widely distributed on Twitter. John Doe #2 was also included in the images.
“Both plaintiffs were harmed by Twitter’s distribution of material depicting their sexual abuse and trafficking, and by Twitter’s knowing refusal to remove the images of their sexual abuse (child pornography) when notified by John Doe #1 and his parents,” the plaintiffs’ legal team wrote. Sex traffickers posing as a 16-year-old female classmate blackmailed him to share nude content, as National File reported:
After initially exchanging nude content, the victim was then forced to share more, otherwise the material would be shared with his “parents, coach, pastor,” and others, the traffickers threatened. Doe first complied under duress, the lawsuit notes, but then managed to block the traffickers. However, at some point in 2019, the child porn was then shared to Twitter from two accounts that were known to share this material.

The tweets were reported to Twitter at least three times, the suit alleges. Doe contacted Twitter and filed a report against the tweet when he became aware of it in January 2020, but Twitter claimed that they had “reviewed the content, and didn’t find a violation” of their policies, despite the illegal content reaching over 167,000 views on their site…
It was only after an agent from the Department of Homeland Security contacted Twitter about the content did the Big Tech giant finally take down the accounts and child porn on January 30th, the suit notes. “This is directly in contrast to what their automated reply message and User Agreement state they will do to protect children,” the suit states.

“Twitter has profited from the knowing distribution of child sexual abuse material depicting these two young men when they were children, and it must be held accountable,” <a href="https://endsexualexploitation.org/articles/statement-second-survivor-of-child-sexual-abuse-sues-twitter/">said Peter Gentala, senior legal counsel for the National Center on Sexual Exploitation Law Center</a>, who is suing Twitter on behalf of the boys, now aged around 17, along with the Haba Law Firm. “Twitter cannot sweep under the rug the fact that it both allowed child sexual abuse material on its site and refused to remove it,” Gentala added.
“These two young men have suffered severe anguish and trauma at the hands of Twitter,” said Lisa Haba, a partner at the Haba Law Firm. “Twitter had everything it needed to do the right thing and prioritize the safety and privacy of these children before its own profits. Our lawsuit seeks to hold Twitter accountable for knowingly profiting from the sexual abuse and trafficking of children and the re-victimization of these two boys.”
<a href="https://www.scribd.com/document/498357883/Twitter-motion-to-dismiss">In March, Twitter moved to dismiss the case.</a> In the motion, lawyers for Twitter claimed that the Big Tech giant was simply slow in removing the images, and were not deliberately ignoring them. Due to the “sheer volume” of tweets posted, it is “simply not possible for Twitter… to remove all offending content immediately or accurately in all cases,” they argue. “The fact that nine days transpired before the offending content was taken down does not make Twitter liable under any applicable law,” it adds.

The motion to dismiss also claims that regardless of any other facts, they were immune from prosecution under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. Section 230 generally exempts Big Tech companies from being prosecuted for the actions of their users. “Given that Twitter’s alleged liability here rests on its failure to remove content from its platform, dismissal of the Complaint with prejudice is warranted on this ground alone,” Twitter argued. However, given that the content passed an initial review, this point may be hard to argue for Twitter.

An attempt by CNN to rally against the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan on the pretext of protecting women’s rights there has drawn pushback, with netizens criticizing the notion as driven by an imperialist agenda.
“Concerns mount that US withdrawal from Afghanistan could risk progress on women’s rights,” read the headline on the <a href="https://edition.cnn.com/2021/04/10/politics/afghan-womens-rights-us-withdrawal/index.html?utm_medium=social&utm_source=twCNNp&utm_content=2021-04-10T18%3A46%3A04&utm_term=link" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">article</a> published by the cable news channel on Saturday. Citing a chorus of Democratic and Republican lawmakers as well as several Afghan officials, the piece makes a case for keeping American troops in the war-ravaged country until “the conditions on the ground are right – regardless of the date on the calendar.”
Noting that US President Joe Biden signaled that the May 1 deadline for the troop pullout will unlikely be met, CNN argues that “a precipitous withdrawal” would have spelled doom for “hard-won gains for women and civil society in Afghanistan.”
The argument that the US presence on the ground is necessary so that Afghan civil society does not crumble failed to strike chord with many. The article quickly got ratioed on Twitter, triggering a torrent of criticism and mockery.

“It’s disgusting the way the corporate press serves as the propaganda wing for endless war,” a libertarian commenter <a href="https://twitter.com/jwsherrod/status/1380962698117124096" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">chimed in</a>, while another took issue with the pretext CNN cited to delay the withdrawal. “Woke imperialism strikes again,”he<a href="https://twitter.com/DanSWright/status/1380962575765102597" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> tweeted</a>.
“Equity, inclusion, and de-colonization requires the continued occupation Afghanistan,” journalist Michael Tracey wrote, paraphrasing the CNN message.

Some denounced CNN for apparently taking more interest in the US being the world’s policeman than in actual Americans stationed in Afghanistan.
“It is not the US responsibility to police the world otherwise the US will be involved in endless wars, you may not care about American troops dying to police the world but the rest of us do care about American troops,” a commenter <a href="https://twitter.com/_nighttrap/status/1380957703716110337" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">wrote</a>.
“This is a difficult issue to address. Is it our job to police the world?” another <a href="https://twitter.com/RandyHaddock/status/1380962854057181188" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">asked</a>.
Other critics opted to bombard the CNN piece with memes.

Some 3,500 US troops and another 7,000 or so NATO troops are currently in Afghanistan. They were supposed to leave by May 1 under the Doha Agreement struck between the US and the Taliban last year. The US’ likely failure to depart on time has already prompted the Taliban to threaten <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.rt.com/usa/518654-taliban-afghanistan-wthdrawal-biden/" target="_blank">retaliation</a> for violation of the agreement.

But people are so desperate to get away that the figure drops to one in five when it comes to travelling abroad or going on a cruise, a study of 5,000 working adults found.
The poll found that 30 per cent of people oppose health passports simply as a way of getting life back to normal.
By far the most popular reason for supporting <a href="https://www.thesun.co.uk/travel/14079134/vaccine-passport-summer-holidays-spain-greece-turkey/">vaccine passports</a> is to be able to travel abroad, followed by seeing friends and family, and eating out.
The survey was conducted by BrightHR, who have created a free online for bosses to track the progress of jabs in business.
