In a recent story, they have noted that because of the huge decline in population, inability to rebuild, elderly ages of the survivors, and the unwillingness of those who fled to return, that barring a miracle, Christianity in Iraq is finished according to a recent report:<blockquote>Catholic charity Aid to the Church in Need has warned that unless world leaders start taking action, the recent defeats suffered by the Islamic State terror group in Iraq and Syria might not be enough to save the Christian population in the region from being eradicated."We have seen drastic reductions in the Christian populations in many nations in the Middle East. Iraq might very well have lost 80 percent of their native Christian people," Edward Clancy, ACNUSA director of outreach, told The Christian Post in an email interview on Wednesday. "Syria might have lost 50 percent. This is compounded by the fact that Christian families have not been secure enough to have many children. The loss of population and the very low birth rate will put great pressure on the Christian communities."He warned that Christians will be "hard pressed to survive when they are 2 percent or 1 percent and become an aging population.""If we do not help these ancient Christian communities, ISIS might very well have lost the battles but won the war."Under a new U.S. strategy, IS has suffered heavy losses recently and has been driven out of a number of key cities it once held, most recently in Raqqa in Syria, which was the terror group's de facto capital.As ACN's "Persecuted and Forgotten? 2015–'17" report released last week noted, the persecution of Christians has grown and reached its highest ever levels in the past couple of years, with the eradication of Christians in the Middle East highlighted as a major concern.The report said that hope has risen with stories of Christian families returning to their homes in the Nineveh Plains as IS continues to be driven out of Iraq, but the future of the faithful in the region remains very much uncertain.Clancy told CP: "Our solace is knowing that whenever Christians have faced terrible odds, great miracles have happened. Christianity has survived and endured, but we needn't wait for miracles. We can act. We can help. We should do both."Some church leaders in the Middle East expressed in the report that they feel forgotten by the international community. ACNUSA's director of outreach argued that many in the West do take the Church and Christian communities for granted."Even when Christians are in the minority, they consistently show themselves to be a positive force in those communities. For example, throughout the Middle East and around the world, Christians provide opportunities for better education for Christians and non-Christians alike. This is because it is part of the witness of the Gospel," Clancy continued."Western leaders need to understand that these Christian communities are key for peaceful coexistence among Yazidi, Sunni, Shia and Kurds in Iraq and will be likewise in Syria among the different ethnic and religious groups."He urged Western governments and world leaders to offer more help to families trying to resettle back in their homelands."They need our help. It is more than just guaranteeing property rights for returning families. The security of their communities is a major issue. It is about leaders not being afraid to say that these Christians belong in their ancestral towns and that they deserve to be supported and protected," he said."Aid to the Church in Need is committed to insisting on that vital message. We will continue to be a voice for the voiceless."Clancy said he's also concerned that rising tensions between the U.S. and North Korea could lead to Christians suffering harsher punishments in that country.Christians in North Korea are already some of the most persecuted people in the world, the ACN report noted, and Clancy said that fears for their well-being are growing as the U.N. increases sanctions against Kim Jong Un."The stories of abuse, imprisonment, and denial of freedoms for Christians are constant. The regime is one of the harshest in human history," he noted."While it is hard to believe it might get any worse, it could very well happen that Christians will be targeted even more severely because of their perceived allegiance to Western thinking." There is no way around the uncomfortable facts of what have happened. However, one cannot change the events of the past, and it is not helpful to waste time thinking about what could have been or what might become "if" change happens at an undefined future point. The situation of today is shaped by the past, but the decisions of today are also that which makes the future, and the fact is that there is no future for Christian in the current situation in Iraq. There might be at a later point, but right now the concern of the Christians must be the survival of those who are left, especially in light of the situation with Turkey. The most merciful thing that can be done is to get the Christians who are left to a place of safety where they can survive, re-grow, and by God's grace once again bring the light of Faith back to their ancestral homelands.

The more a man binds himself to God, the more like God he becomes and as such, he and the world transforms in proportion to his devotion and actions. Likewise, the more a man separates himself from God, the more evil he will natural engender because apart from the source of all good man can only manipulate to perversion that which he contacts, and this is including himself. It is why sin and evil are a direct consequence of the rejection of God, for to reject God is to reject the good and to embrace evil.Surely if the story about the 'beast brothels' was shared with the parents of the children who attend this school and protested the teaching about sin and hell, most would likely respond with some level of disgust. Such a reaction would be expected and natural, for is it intrinsically disordered to seek out unnatural relations. Yet what these parents are doing by their refusal to acknowledge the reality of sin and hell and instead focus on 'Christianity' as the popular idea of 'being nice' to all, emphasizing that 'nice' means 'accepting and abiding by the accepted sociocultural patterns of behavior for the current time, they are in fact reinforcing the ontological pathway that created the situation where British men are seeking out sex with animals.Christianity is not about being 'nice' or 'tolerant.' Christ came to restore man to relationship with God, and as God is perfect love, Christ came to bring mercy to those who embraced Him and justice to those who rejected Him. Christ did not come to conform to the social and cultural patterns of the time He walked the Earth, or before that time, or after that time. Christ came to invite all men to follow in the path of salvation, and in order to do this He had to give the human race a choice. In order to unify, Christ had to divide, and by divide I speak not of creating division between men for power, but to rend asunder those who would follow in the ways of God to reflect the good of their creator from those who would reject God and embrace perversity fashioned by their own wills. Christianity is as much a faith of mercy and love as it is a feast of justice, for mercy cannot exist without justice.There is no such thing as "tolerance" in Christianity because God does not tolerate evil or sin. While many people criticize the doctrine of Purgatory, aside from its scriptural foundations and evidence in sacred tradition, Purgatory is a reflection of the mercy of God because if nothing unclean can enter into Heaven, yet a man who desires God dies and has not yet made sufficient expiation for his sins, Purgatory is the shower room which God gives a man so that his sins can be washed away before entering into eternal rest. If God will not tolerate even the smallest of sin, because there is no tolerance for evil, then it is anything but gravely irresponsible to teach people they can "tolerate" beliefs, ideas, or concepts that are either spiritual realities or could lead a man into eternal damnation.The reason these parents are protesting the school is, as the article note and as reflected by the majority of much of American and European society, they do no believe in Christ or even in God at all. They want the ideas and values of Christianity in their children, but they refuse to accept the divinely revealed foundation through which these beliefs were established as moral absolutes for all time. They desire a Christianity without a cross, and salvation without a savior, and rejection of the ways of the world without having to reject worldliness.People wonder how such evils as men traveling across the world to engage in bestiality happen. They wonder why there are child molestations, murders, robberies, and all kinds of perversity that pollute their societies. Yet as the wonder about this, they refuse to accept divinely revealed truth and, considering themselves wiser that 'some old book' or 'some old dead guys,' they think they can define morality on their own terms apart from God and that all will be well, yet their attempts to create a heaven for themselves will always result in the creation of a hell because without God, that is all that man is capable of.Thank God for His mercy, because without it there would only be justice, and as it is reflected in many tragic theatrical works, it is man who when left to his own devices will bring about his own demise.

The SAS patrol just happened to be in the right place at the right time,' the source said.'The killers were moving around the area executing villagers. (<a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.christianpost.com/news/sas-snipers-take-out-isis-executioners-just-as-they-are-about-to-behead-a-christian-family-203167/">source</a>)</blockquote>I don't believe for a second this happened. My old theology professor in college and later, personal friend until his death used to say in class that the search for truth is like holding a candle in a dark cave, and the light is your faith which guides you along the walls, and that part of the search for truth is after having ascertained truth, to leave a path behind for others to follow in the way that you laid.Such is also the case with the news media and stories. As we at Shoebat.com pride ourselves on the pursuit of the truth, we both seek to report that which is happening around the world and, should we err, to correct that in which we have made a mistake. Sometimes things can be very difficult to discern in an era of much information but not always substance. It is very easy to shout FAKE NEWS at something that a person does not like or wants to disagree with. It is much harder to actually identify, quantify, and give a valid explanation describing WHY something is fake versus why it is not.The story above sounds really good. It was even reported by major Christian news media. However, something was not right with the story, as it seems to be a little too similar to stories we have seen before. By this I am referring to two articles I reported on last year (see <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="/2016/06/20/uk-sniper-blows-the-brains-out-of-isis-suicide-bomber-in-miracle-almost-a-mile-long-shot-and-saves-hundreds-from-certain-death-1/">here </a>and <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="/2016/07/04/british-sniper-single-handedly-slices-three-muslim-terrorists-to-death-with-his-gurkha-knife-after-he-gets-ambushed/">here</a>). The first time I wrote about the story it seemed like a normal story. However, the second time this story came up it just seemed 'too similar.' Notice too the stunningly similar shape each story has, and that the number of stories put out this year, following the election of Trump and the subsequent shift in media attention to other parts of the world, the frequency of these stories has died down.You be the judge, but that seems awfully suspicious. If you ask me, I call this an example of real "fake news" in that this is a feel-good story means to generate propaganda, for the ultimate end is not the pursuit of truth, but about the selling of a particular angle to the public.The English are masters at propaganda and have been so for centuries, beginning with the Protestant Revolution's spreading of real "fake news" and fake facts about the Catholic Church and false testimonies of "former Catholic nuns/priests/bishops" that supposedly "expose" how Catholics are all statue-worshipping cannibals in alliances with Islam that want to burn Bibles and persecuted BYEBULL KRISHINS for 1500 years from Constantine's days until Martin Luther arrived and began talking about nationalism. There always have been propagandists, scammers, and opportunists in every culture, but the English are particular in that while claiming to be "Christians" they succeeded in exterminating the Catholic Faith from Albion, only for it to be restored in fragmented parts by Irish immigrants and converts from Anglo, Welsh, and Scottish backgrounds. He was one of many Anglo-Saxon propaganists whose anti-Catholic works were utterly false, devoid of all facts, and outright lies that achieved their ultimate end, which was to slander the Faith and prevent it from having any roots in the UK ever again.It is important that one uses any and all available means to spread one's views. However, one must do such in accordance with the truth. One must continually check oneself and be willing to question one's views and most importantly, be honest enough to admit if there has been a mistake made.Another example of such English propaganda is in the treatment of the Spanish and French versus the British treatment of the native Indians reality versus perception. When one learns about the French or in particular, the Spanish, one hears about how THOSE TERRIBLE CATHOLICK SPANISH (spelling intentional) murdered Indians just for fun and the priests backed them. It is not discussed at all how the Spanish, while they did fight many of the Indians out of necessity, were also allies to far more and that millions of the natives embraced the Catholic Faith of their own will. To that while slavery did exist, it was the Catholic Church who fought most aggressively against it and as such made Spain the first nation to give full rights and Spanish citizenship to the native people at least two centuries before William Wilberforce of the UK even existed. If that was not enough, one only needs to LOOK at Central and South America. Far from massacring the natives, the Spanish married them and created a new, mixed race of people- the mestizo- with his own culture, heritage, and wonderful contributions to the world. The French did similarly, and in the case of the USA gave birth to the "creole" culture and creole peoples of Louisiana, Zydeco Music, Cajun food, and more. Their descendants are willing testimonies to the fact that while abuses did happen at the hands of the conquerors, the Spanish and French chose to convert and mix- not massacre- those who they encountered.Contrast the Spanish and French situation with the British. While American children learn about "the Pilgrims" coming to Massachusetts and how "Squanto" taught them to grow corn, the Puritans were really tyrannical Calvinist jerks. The reason they were sent to the USA was because even their own people could not tolerate their insane ideas, and their disorder manifested in that when they arrived in the colonies, they did not at all mix with the natives, but instead massacred them. I do not speak of the necessary fights with the natives that took place, for the Spanish and French engaged in the same struggles, and there were many tribes among the Pequot, Naragansett, Seneca, and Iroquois nations who were outright savages and worthy of death in the same ways that the Incas and Aztecs were. However, they are also people too, and the fact that all of the lands of New England and eventually the ENTIRETY of the USA east of the Mississippi were wiped out of the natives and the survivors put into ghettos- Indian reservations- and that there as such a small amount of intermarriage and mixing with the natives in comparison to that which happened in central and south America shows the difference in mindset. The Protestant, Calvinist, Industrialist "mindset," in which they believe God's favor is measured by wealth and power over one's fellow man, manifested in the genocide of the natives while the Catholic mindset in central and south America saved an entire race of people, transformed their culture, and restored their dignity that had been stripped from them through their paganism.Fake news does exist. So does fake historical memories. Both are created to manufacture a specific account of events of the past in order to justify current or intended future political or social goals, always for the benefit of a few at the expense of the many. While I have singled out the English because they are indeed very good at doing this, it is not limited to them alone. Anybody can tell a well-crafted lie if he intends to.  It just so happens that it is very easy to do this today, or in some cases, communicate errors without even knowing they are errors.Indeed, searching for truth is like holding a candle in the dark. Sometimes in the path of discovery one may indeed err, but that is expected on account of sin. What matters is that one corrects one's errors, and at the same time after having corrected the errors, then goes on to call them out when they see them.
